Revolution in Sharpsats (TCB Only)

Trouble is rising in The People's Republic of Sharpsats. The economy hasn't been doing well, and in an attempt to solve the issues the government has halted collectivization of businesses and has begun privatizing. The many citizens of this, now formerly, socialist nation are angry with the rise of capitalist business. Many people are calling out for complete collectivization, allowing the workers to control their own businesses in all industries. They also are calling for smaller, more directly democratic government, in a loose confederate system.

However not everyone is displeased. A pro-capitalist faction are ecstatic about this increase of private business, and support the actions of the state. They want Sharpsats to become a glorious capitalist nation, where businesses run free and taxes are low.

One faction is entirely displeased. They want the state to take full, unadulterated control of the economy, crack down on other issues, and in general, be more authoritarian.

Instability continues to climb, and it seems that full scale revolution is soon to descend upon Sharpsats.

The Democratic Republic of Volkstrad throws its support to the Authoritarian faction, immediately shipping out twenty tonnes of ammunition, two hundred T-90 Tanks, and one thousand AK-74 Rifles.

In addition, the 56th Infantry Battalion, and the 78th Armored Battalion are both dispatched to support the aforementioned faction

Head of government Eva Alkaev offers her sympathy to the "oppressed proletariat yearning for freedom," and announces the country may dispatch military advisers to the authoritarian faction depending on how the situation progresses.

The Sharpsatsian military is spread quite thin, trying to fight back revolutionaries (bar capitalists). The military detected the Volkstradi supplies and tried to seize them, but the effort is rather half-arsed.

Due to the unstable political situation in Sharpsats, the Puterene government announces that a 60-man company will be dispatched to protect the USP Embassy, from "the possibility of looters or marauders."

The communist faction (they are calling themselves "The Syndicate Revolutionaries, or SyndRevs for short) welcome the Togerian troops.

The 56th meets up with the Ossiland Resistance Front(ORF) in the East and begin to push towards Enemy Territory as a united force. The 78th Armored moves on ahead of them, moving in a Blitzkrieg assault towards Fort Ganyde.

ORF and Volkstradi troops are met by the SyndRev, with a firefight breaking out. The SyndRev have guts and determination, but lack the combat skill of the Volkstradi troops.

A squad of tanks are deployed from the main 78th Column, and are sent to help plow through the SyndRev forces.

Togerian send troops to train the SyndRev. 200 forces come carrying the latest rifles and little artillery. Togeria does not want to enter a full war yet.

The 1st Fleet, composed of the aircraft carrier Chairman Vladimir Alkaev, four air-defence destroyers (Comrade Grekov, Kovhingrad, Utyug Pobeda, Commissar) and a ballistic missile nuclear submarine (Admiral Tsiolkovsky,) arrived off the coast of Sharpsats. The fleet offers to carry out limited strike capabilities in support of the Volkstradi troops, and ORF; against other groups within the country. (Chairman Vladimir Alkaev carries a complement of 24 MiG-29K fighters, and 30 Su-34 strike fighters.)

Encountering well-equipped SyndRev troops, after pushing into Fort Ganyde, another Battalion, the 66th Mechanized, are deployed to support the ORF and VPA troops already in the area.

Secretly, the 52nd Unconventional Warfare(Basically Guerrilla fighters, but equipped with best equipment Volkstrad has to offer) are parachuted into the region outside Rastanal to harass the SyndRev forces behind their lines, and to rally support for the ORF.

Togeria fearing the Syndrevs might lose now dedicates itself to a full war. 129 T1-30 fighter jets make their debut. They head to the ORF and begin a bombing campaign. More soldiers are expected to come, and help the revolutionaries.

In response to the Togerian plane bombardment, the 99th Elite Sturmtruppen Division is deployed to strike the East Commune from the South, in addition 250 Fighter Planes and 130 Bombers are sent to combat the Togerians in the air, and to bomb enemy territory.

Puterene strike aircraft bombard SyndRev vehicles and supply depots in the areas around the East Commune, declaring an open intervention against the Syndicate Revolutionaries and the capitalist faction. However, the government turns a blind eye to the Togerian troops and vehicles now pouring into the country. The aircraft also take care to avoid airspace where Togerian fighters are deployed.

Behind closed doors at the parliament in Syndicyne, the barely surviving Sharpsats state has cut a deal with The Capitalists. Capitalist revolutionaries will be fighting on behalf of the state, and in return, the state will transition to capitalism if it wins.

The fighters take heavy blows, but with superior technology and tactics outlast the enemy. 1000 ground forces have entered from sea, and have begun setting up schools, hospitals, and training revolutionaries. It helps build up ally morale, in the mean time a small brigade is sent to the capitalist to discuss a temporary alliance, to deal with ORF.
