HUNT FOR COMMIES BEGINS!

Today in the Republic of Darrington, over 300 communist protesters have been arrested after a national strike for 12' hours. The event has been dubbed 'the Hunt for Un-Darringtonian conspirators' by Darringtonians and the international community alike.

The organizer of the strike, Joseph Williams, who also happens to be the leader of the controversial Communist Party was beaten, shot with rubber bullets and dragged away into a sinister black van on charges of 'high treason.'

After the event, the communist party officially condemned the Darrington government, calling it a corrupt, theocratic hellhole run by evangelical imbeciles. It was followed by many burnings of communist flags and symbols with some churches holding a special day for the police officers that passed on this sad day. Some preachers resorted to hate speech that was condemned by the government.

President Dale Bertrand McCoy has spoken on these events by stating 'These police are Patriots and national heroes that should be respected on the international level.' How the world will react is unknown, but the President is certainly awaiting.

Dear President McCoy,

The Kingdom of Argentarino is shocked and dismayed at the actions undertaken by your police forces, as they violate the human and civil rights and protections afforded to all persons of the Republic of Darrington. All persons have the right to belong to any political identification, all persons have the right to peacefully assemble, all persons have the right to speak out against policies enacted by the government. Yet the actions of your police forces, which appear to be sanctioned by your government, are quite the contrary to your "republican" form of government. It was the belief of myself and several of my Cabinet ministers that a Republic such as your's would have more political freedoms than our own Kingdom, which is a constitutional monarchy. However, after witnessing these actions, we are now in the belief that your nation possesses less political and civil freedoms than our own monarchy.

In short, the Kingdom of Argentarino officially condemns the actions of your Government, and we will do everything we can to ensure that you do not earn the privilege of joining the International Freedom Coalition, and we will watch the following events closely to determine whether more action may be taken.
