1989: General Secretary Josip Kranc, the founder and leader of the Socialist Federal Republic of Krajstali for nearly 40 years has his health declining. The various leaders of the Socialist Republics of Krajstali had gathered around his deathbed along with Slobovan Karadsevic who would be the future leader of Krajstali. As his peers around him await on his word on who should succeed him, Josip does not announce a name but a test for his Comrades to answer
"The strongest among you may succeed me"
Josip had let out cough before peacefully accepting his fate, he had slowly closed his eyes before everyone else within the room did, a moment of silence had ensured as the whole nation mourns.
1990: The Federal Assembly and the League of Communists had been baffled, Who is Josip's successor? Before anyone could claim to be one Slobovan had stood up and declared himself a Candidate to be the new General Secretary along with several others. Slobovan had won by 67% of the League of Communists and the Federal Assembly's vote before officially declaring Slobovan the title of "General Secretary" those who were upset and frustrated upon the results had left the League of Communists vowing to create "true successor states" when in fact they had decided to split for ethnic along with political reasons fearing that Slobovan would create a Krajstali centered around for Titovkans and would continue the Communist rule of Krajstali.
1991: Presidents from the Socialist Republics of Hrvatskiana,Sloveniansk,Cosnia,Bolugaria and Albanska had declared themselves independent from Krajstali. KNA Soldiers refused to leave the territories of the newly declared state and a few soldiers had defected to the Armies of their own ethnics.Tensions had risen as the newly formed governments of the four states had given Krajstali an ultimatum to withdraw KNA forces from their territories otherwise the four nations would have no choice but to force the Removal of the Krajstalian Miltiary

Karadsevic gathers what is left of the Krajstalian Government and the KNA for a possible reclamation offensive code-named named "Velbazhd" aiming to crush the secessionist governments. The four states begin a massive expulsion of ethnic Titovkans and those with Krajstalian nationality, however regions with communities of Titovkans refuse to be relocated and take up arms against their newly declared states beginning insurgencies fighting until the five countries surrender their independence to be reintegrated back into the Socialist Federal Republic.

Various KNA bases from all over the former areas of Krajstali are surrounded by hostile forces of the separatist governments and are being besieged following Karadsevic's failure to comply with the Ultimatum. KNA Forces begin an assault on the newly declared republics of Albanska from forces attacking both sides of the nation from the South and North, forces stationed in the Socialist Autonomous Province of Byzantinia begin an offensive as well on Bolugaria's eastern border, operation "Velbazhd" has begun .
