(Unless Heco chooses to participate here, you'll need to shut it down. You can't RP a war without accepted participation of your opponent. Just a friendly reminder that all your chest-thumping and strongly-worded letters may amount to nothing, and you cannot force Heco to accept any of this.)

As an ally of Heco I will stand alongside him, even if that means going down with him. I will fight to the bitter end to protect and defend his freedom, liberty, and well being.

He has been, he's just wussing out; he's taken down the dispatch with those laws and everything.
But anyway, I believe that I was in the middle of intercepting an Iravian fleet when they started ignoring me as well. So I guess everybody is wussing out.

Yeah, lets muzzle babies who are too young to even understand why they're crying, let alone 'learn to stop annoying everyone'.
Jeez, between this coming out of you and Steak's death penalty for homosexuality, I might as well not even have any allies.

Steakrim wrote:The troop carriers that departed last night, know as Arks, which carry 10,000 soldiers each, are being guarded by several Crusader-class cruisers. Destroyers also guard the ten troop carriers.
With word that an Iravian fleet was on it's way, the seamen were on high alert. Currently, it was take them six days to get to Heco. The Steakrim government wants to evade a war with Irav at all costs. Even though several allies are on their side, Irav is very powerful. While citizens support the invasion of Heco, they don't want to fight their allies.
With the Arks being called the troop fleet, a war fleet, made up of one aircraft carrier, four cruisers, eight destroyers, and two submarines trails behind the aforementioned troop carriers.
Steak troops, with more funding than Hecovian troops, are predicted to be able to defeat the Hecovian troops easily. However, fears their allies will intervene are high.

After cruising for over a day, the two Atlantic Fleets mobilised to intercept the Iravian fleet are just over a day away from reaching Heconian waters.
Once the Atlantic fleets arrive outside of Heconian territory, they will patrol the area, preparing for the arrival of the Iravian fleet.

Currently, the South Pacific fleet, which was mobilised along with the two Atlantic Fleets, is linking up with the two nearest Free Fleets.
When the fleets have finished merging, they will be known as the 'Pacific Battlegroup', which will slowly make its way towards Heconian waters, allowing for the Streak Taskforce to catch up.
It is hoped that the Pacific Battlegroup and Steak Taskforce will merge to form a multinational Taskforce capable of dealing a crushing blow to the Iravian fleet, if it chooses to continue its path towards Heco.

Or, get this; Heco may not be getting involved, but Irav is, therefore we annihilate the Iravian fleet at sea, severely hampering their ability to aid Heco in any future conflicts?

OOC: Then please tell me what the point is of declaring war on me when Heco is not even in the game? Seriously attacking my fleet will result in war. Also it's not like I send my entire fleet so I will still be able to aid any I want.

OOC: Ooh, yes!
IC: The Steak fleet slowly makes it's way to the Iravian fleet, while more Arks are filled. With all units of the Steak Armed Forces and the Steak Reserves mobilized, along with all defenses, Steakrim has increased security drastically. Steakrim Intelligence Agency (SIA) units are conducting operations in places where Irav occupies.

Steakrimian support for the war is 90%.

The reason why I ma ignoring this is because there was a war on this at the same time the old one is being used but the war is over so there is no point to be here.

OOC: Woudln't say that. But what is the point of attacking a fleet in a thread that isn't even reconized by Heco who is supposed to be in this.

If you want to go to war with me make another thread.

Irav wrote:OOC: Then please tell me what the point is of declaring war on me when Heco is not even in the game? Seriously attacking my fleet will result in war.

The point is that you were sending allies to reinforce Heco, and also you have formed an alliance with him, meaning that you will aid him in future conflicts. Therefore if we diminish your capabilities now, you'll be less likely and less able to reinforce or aid Heco in the future.

Additionally, you present this as though I am attacking you out of the blue, when in reality, you sent a fleet out 2 days ago, then I said that my patrols had picked it up, and that I was sending interceptors, and then I implored that you turn your fleet around and set sail for home.
You then failed to reply to my movements and request, instead focusing on pointlessly arguing the legitimacy of our knowledge of Heco's laws.

The Iravian fleet was now almost in Hecovian waters, where it would be much easier for them to enter one of the Hecovian ports. A few crew members spotted several enemy ships on the radar. Who where comming closer by the minute.

Commander, I see enemy ships on our radars. They are most likely to be either Steakrim or ASBL ships. We are almost in Hecovian waters, where we will be save. What will we do commander? One of the crewmembers asked.

What we will do? We will enter Hecovian waters of course. Any attack from them would make it easy for Irav to portrait them as the bad guys. That is why will enter Hecovian waters and claim we are doing a training mission with the Hecovian navy. Easy enough, isn't it?

The Iravian fleet now crossed the Hecovian border, while the aircraft were put on high alert. And ready to take-off in less then 15 minutes.

Suddenly and without warning, the SBAF vessels in the Steakrim-ASBL Multinational Taskforce open fire on the Steakrim vessels, according to the following attack pattern (wherein the red lines illustrate the aim of the SBAF fire).
[Operation Rainbow: Plan of Attack; Abridged Visual Guide (Double-cross of Steakrim Vessels in Multinational Taskforce)]

The SBAF vessels, having planned the attack for hours, focus fire on all Steakrim CIWS and Weapons stations, in order to quickly render the Steakrim fleet defenceless by eliminating any armament which could be used to resist the following order, (Issued after Steakrim response).

Above surface, the rapid and brutal attack lasts only 30 seconds, giving little time for Steakrim to arm their CIWS or weapon stations, let alone aim or fire them amid the confusion.
