Tarazed, Daramonty City, Presidential Media Address

"In light of V0LTRIS' aggressive annexation of Pakistan from our ally Canadian Hunsha through deplorable tactics such as attack without declaration of intent; the forcing of diplomatic actions through aggression and the unjustified seizing of land. The Federal Technocracy of Tarazed his hereby enforcing sanctions against the Republic of V0LTRIS," President White stopped for a few moments to look over his notes, "The sanctions in question were approved by Parliament by a majority of 240 votes and will target the petroleum industry of V0LTRIS as well as smaller sanctions which will freeze the assets of key officials in the V0LTRISian government. We hope that this will deter them from aggressively expanding further and dissuade them from infringing upon the borders of either us or our allies."

Military:

With the recent surge in population from the now controlled country of Pakistan, President Abhay decides to take the already numerous civilians trained in military (guerilla) tactics and add them to the border defenses of Iran and Afghanistan. Also, he orders training to begin for the newly drafted Pakistanis in both modern and guerilla warfare. The captured tanks, artillery, rocket systems, and naval forces are added to the current count.

*The border along Pakistan now holds approx. 1.5 million troops along with 4,000 artillery, 2,000 tanks, and 200 rocket systems (as well as other less important things)*

Economic:

"They've done what? Ah I see... I don't quite understand what they wish to accomplish with these sanctions seeing as we've never been trading with them in the past, and seeing as we get our oil from China. What? They believe that our officials are holding money within their control? Are they mad? This seems like complete and utter nonsense... Is it possible they're using it as some sort of propaganda? Hmm... We'll deal with that later."

Even though sanctions from Tarazed have been placed on the R.o.I the economy is looking better then ever. Trade with China is providing both countries with huge economic advantages and it just seems to be getting better and better. However, the state of Pakistan is not acceptable. Farmers are dirt poor and the once nourished fields are dry and produce very little. Small markets dot the largest cities but provide little benefit to the overall population. No, this just will not do. The newly acquired wealth if pumped into Pakistan to attempt to provide some sort of economic relief to the population. The plan to restore India is going along smoothly and the nation is entering a new age of prosperity.

Diplomatic:

The ambassadors sent from India to China's capital to talk to Shaler diplomats had arrived.
"We thank you for allowing us to open diplomatic talks with you in our shared friend. We have been sent to both compliment you on your powerful government and economy, as well as to ask that a trade pact opens between the R.o.I and yourselves."

The President knew he had to do something about the now shredded ties with both Tarazed and Hunsha so he sent out a message to both of them.

Let us first say that we apologize deeply for any disruptions our recent conquering of Pakistan caused. Our government could not sit back idly while 190 million people cried out for help. Second, we promise that no further military actions will be taken out against this area as long as diplomatic relations are recovered. This means that we expect sanctions to be lifted off of us as soon as possible or we will have to take action be it the N.A.A (both R.o.I and China) placing sanctions on you or further military action. If this does come to fruition we will call back some of our border defenses to attempt to show you we will uphold our end of the bargain. We desperately hope that this message will clear up at least some of the bad blood of our recent actions and prevent any future actions from occuring.

Respectfully,
President Abhay Anit

Brovarria wrote:
Equalsun Empire poses not only a threat to Brovarria, but a threat to CIS and The Great Nova Roma. With his plans and military placement it seems as though he is planning to attack a bordering nation. And that is against the alliance I've formed with CIS. Brovarria officially declares war on Equalsun Empire. At 1700s tonight a military plan will be unfolded. Details will soon follow. After the annexation of North Korea Brovarria has gained 250,000 new armed forces members giving us 1 million men in the army. As of right now 750,000 ground troops have been mobilized and designated to either 1/3 aircraft carriers 1/3,400 transport helos, or 1/2,000 C-130J Hercules. Also, 6,500 Tanks, 5,000 LAVs and 5,500 MRAPs have also been mobilized and are currently aboard Aircraft carriers. More military mobilizations, 1,500 A-10 Warthogs, 1,500 Apache Helos, 750 AC-130 "Spooky Gunships", 789 B-52 bombers, 1 Air Command (Joint STARS), 650 F35s, 650 F16s, 600 F22s have been scrambled. On the naval side, 10 ballistic missile submarines, 40 attack submarines, 50 destroyers, 3 aircraft carriers. The invasion will go as follows: A joint and coalition of forces coming from the North (CIS) and from the South (The Great Nova Roma, will be also invading. Brovarria invades from the East. At first 105mm Artillery based in mainland Brovarria will start firing at known defenses alongside the shore. Soon to follow will be the B-52 bombers "carpet bombing" and using napalm to eradicate known enemy positions in country lands. Destroyers and Ballistic Missile submarines will start to fire strategically to inside city defense and other known "smaller" unit locations. Then land craft will 400,000 take ashore on the eastern shore of Equalsun. The entire eastern shore of China coinciding with Brovarria has been divided into sections which had units already designated. In sync will be 350,000 coming in aboard helos. Also in sync will be the paratroopers jumping (behind enemy lines) into the cities of Hong Kong and Shanghai. Once the paratroopers are in and the soldiers on the shore create a distraction causing more troops to flow onto the shore Force Recon troops within the paratrooper units will essentially stay low and spot out enemy positions calling in either A-10 Warthogs, or if it is bigger AC-130 gunships, despite that planes including the A-10 and AC-130 will be conducting operations of their own inquired targets. Before that F-16, F-35s, and F-22s will be clearing out the skies of any Equalsun air resistance before the initial gunships and strategical planes come in. If success happens and the soldiers push off the beach and into mainland China. Most B-52s will return home as their part is done in the initial invasion of Equalsun. But some will stay in order to help with the efforts of mass selections of units. Then it is smooth sailing from then on if it is a success on our part. Whilst on behalf of CIS and Nova Roma they have to do their job in order to conquer this nation. If there is success, efforts from the East, North, and South will have met in a classified rendezvous point in middle Equalsun we will have succesfully invaded, conquered, and will control the lands of China.

Overview of the invasion progress

However, the invasion goes wrong from the start. Frantic Equalsun diplomats have managed to make peace with the CIS and NRR, making Bovarria the only force to actually attack the mainland. With the limited time given as warning by spy satellites and agents in Korea, the Equalsun army managed to mobilize and devote their troops to the Eastern border. As Bovarrian artillery start to fire upon the Equalsun Empire defenses, 2,000 MLRS return fire, aiming for shipyards where the Bovarrian aircraft carriers are thought to be. Bovarrian military officials hear of this, have reports of 2 fleets of Equalsun Empire Naval ships are coming north, and that 10,000 tanks are at or en route to the Eastern shore. Xi appears to have been able to use the extensive Chinese railway system to move 3 million troops from the borders of Russia and Thailand to the coast, and more are on the way. 5,000 AFVs are currently at the border, with another 2,000 on the way. 2,000 SPG’s have been set at key locations on the coast as well, ready to take out tanks that start rolling inland. In addition, 6,000 artillery pieces have been set up where the Brovarrian navy is expected to make landfall. All 1,389 J-10 fighter craft have been mobilized, and 1,102 H-6Ks have left hangars and are awaiting the order to attack ground targets that manage to get to the mainland. Small, fast Coastal Defense Craft, numbering 212 strong, are currently patrolling the straights between Korea and the Equalsun coast, ready to harass enemy ships and air vehicles as they come across.

Meanwhile, 600,000 troops, 1,000 tanks, 1,174 AFV’s, and 500 Towed artillery are being ferried towards Taiwan under a protective bombardment from the 1st fleet, as it passes the island on the way to Japan. 500 MLRS are adding to the bombardment of the Taiwan coast, though they are being careful to avoid large civilian sectors. 10,000 of these troops are airborne, circling around to the south to avoid the greatest Taiwan air defenses.

Beijing, China

Xi sat in the war room below his residence, General Zhou, Admiral Shui, and Commander Feng looking over reports with him. The situation was grave; though the Equalsun Empire far outnumbered the Brovarrians in tanks, troops, and naval strength, their air superiority was unchallenged. Even with the entire Air Force mobilized and engaging the Bovarrians, they were behind 3,000 planes; an absurd number. "We must change this, and quickly..." Xi mused, casually knocking down Bovarrian air battalions on the map in front of them. "We have to hold off these aggressors until the Indians arrive. Only then will we rival them in the air. Until then, direct your air squadrons to engage only when supported by MLRS fire from the ground. And tell your captains to hold off on the bombers; they will do no good with hundreds more enemy fighters in the air. Only authorize strikes on their ground forces from the air once we claim superiority." Feng nodded in agreement; he understood his orders all too well. "Oh, and one last thing;

"Now, Zhou..." Zhou's head snapped from where it had been observing Xi move the tank pieces around the board, to listen carefully what was being spoken to him. "If the enemy landing craft near the shore, move in with your tanks. Time it right, and you can trap and slaughter their forces on the beaches. Again, be wary of the enemy air superiority; it will be troublesome for you on long stretches of open ground. Keep that in mind when you consolidate your infantry, as well." Zhou nodded; that could be easily taken care of.

"And Shui, just keep doing what you're doing. Take Taiwan, move north, and crush the Bovarrians in the Straight." Shui grinned. "That would be my pleasure." He said, before bowing and leaving; he had business to take care of.

Subject: Pakistan Annexation

First off, I don't know where to start. You people obviously have no idea what you were meddling with - nor why you are meddling. We liberated the nations of the Middle East from the tyrannical known as the Islamic State (I don't know if you've heard of them before - nor do I care) and while I cannot speak from my counterparts in Canadian Hunsha, I can say that Tarazedian liberation of these areas have resulted in living standard tripling among the populace residing there. Failure to follow our demands or abide by your promises will result in harsher sanctions - I don't know who you think you are but your nation's economy isn't as isolated as you claim it to be. Do not further escalate this incident.
Furthermore, while I'd love to believe your claims of peaceful intent - I cannot take your word for it. So until we see demilitarization in Pakistan and cooperation with Canadian Hunsha (not the invading of Canadian Hunsha), the sanctions will remain in place.

To: The Republic of India
From: Canadian Hunshan President John Williams

You apology will not be accepted, you sent in your troops without consulting our goverment to try and find a solution. We were open to work out our differances. We liberated the people of these nation from terrorists and you just walked in and claiming it was yours. The only reason we enetered Northern Pakistan was becuase of reports that terrorist leaders escaped there and built new armies.
We also have a army of 1 million strong, we have about half a million reserves and with our ally -Tarazed's- army we could beat you in a war. You will not do anymore of those imperialistic actions without consequences.

We are in depth, but not that in depth. You all need to immediately cut the bitching and take it to chatzy, because CAS forums are not arguemenitive.

Figure something out, because fighting or lobbying for change about how much oil a nation uses is worthless. The mods don't really care about that here, and it is unlikely that they are going to bother fighting a person about it. I do agree with the point you made about playing the "You can't do anything to me card" Here we call that God-modding and I have yet to see it occur.....

I will redirect Voltris, and say that your economy wouldn't be that great anyway after annexing Pakistan, simply due to the economic strain put on a nation from annexing another. However as that would subside in a couple of months, the embargos would not.....
Voltris your economic strength is at 60 something right? I have a higher economic strength then you yet somehow you manage to make your posts seem like trade with china boosts you up to 90....

Tariffed trade=immediate results of profit that falters in the long run.

OOC: Look guys, playing rules light is cool, but it is important to have rules. Even if this is some sort of extra dimension where our nations actually came to be, you have to use something or else there is no guideline for what is and isn't godmod. It's cool if you guys want to remove all racial and societal tensions for this game, that's completely fine.
What I'm confused about is why you guys also seem to want to remove economic realities too? Why does a simple trade pact boost you from 60 to 100? Why does an embargo do nothing to a nation's economy? Why can people build 1,000s of planes, many more than their economy could support, and get away with it? (This was addressed, thankfully, but I think you can see what I'm getting at). I guess my problem is that I don't know where the guidelines are. Are they in real life? Is this all based on NS statistics? Are we going with some enigmatic number cruncher that somehow gives us realistic results? What are they?
I tried to use real life since that has the most easily accessable and most plentiful information, but then you guys yell at me for calling someone out on going to far from the guidelines. So I don't know.

To be clear, I'm not mad at anyone at the thread, I just don't like getting yelled at for trying to stop what I saw as going to far and getting yelled at for it. I don't want to accidently yell wolf agian, so what can I use as a guideline to check things against?

OOC: Well if you read what I said I agreed with everything you said in this post....
Nowhere did I say that we had no regulation, or realities. Nor did I say Brovarria can have more then 80 AC-130's without killing his military spending....
Nobody here is mad at you, we just want you to realize that Oil spending Is not important here, we don't get into specifics on this for a reason, It crates conflict....
the *Economic scale* Calculates all of your stuff to do with economy on one scale. Think of it as our "How rich are you scale?"
The oil consumption and everything else is unnecessary here because we have been using a simple economic scale for a long time........
Our guidelines are common sense. Because there is no way to calculate the economic standards of a communist Japan that has been at war with Russia or something. We just can't do it.

So what you have to do is educate yourself on what things have happened in history and apply them to our national situations.......
There is no reference other then common sense and our mutual understanding that we have a lot of knowledge between us about Economics ,Politics and Militaries.

Xi sat in the war room below his residence, General Zhou, Admiral Shui, and Commander Feng looking over reports with him. The situation was grave; though the Equalsun Empire far outnumbered the Brovarrians in tanks, troops, and naval strength, their air superiority was unchallenged. Even with the entire Air Force mobilized and engaging the Bovarrians, they were behind 3,000 planes; an absurd number. "We must change this, and quickly..." Xi mused, casually knocking down Bovarrian air battalions on the map in front of them. "We have to hold off these aggressors until the Indians arrive. Only then will we rival them in the air. Until then, direct your air squadrons to engage only when supported by MLRS fire from the ground. And tell your captains to hold off on the bombers; they will do no good with hundreds more enemy fighters in the air. Only authorize strikes on their ground forces from the air once we claim superiority." Feng nodded in agreement; he understood his orders all too well. "Oh, and one last thing;

With the recent aquisations of peace coming from NRR and CIS, Brovarria has decided to make the invasion a no-go. And would rather solve this diplomatically than with the dogs of war. From Brovarria central command a telegram was sent the Xi saying:

"Brovarria would not like to engage in a conflict. The invasion is a no-go, however if you see troops mobilized it is only for emergency. Can you forgive the artillery for as I would forgive your MLRS'? Lets make real relations. Not death.

*BCC*"

Brovarria would like to make peace not war!

General Takaido's Office

"Oh no... Oh no! We cannot let this invasion happen. Their army is tenfold stronger than ours. We would most certainly lose in a conflict. With an invading source of that size Brovarria will not stand. Oh, I hope they get the telegram." said General Takaido.

"Sir, we have reports of mobilizing troops in Equalsun. Preliminary status' suggest that an invasion might just occur if this telegram does not reach the hands of Xi. Also, sir, haven't they already "attacked" us with rockets."
Warden Alphonse spoke.

"No. No! Forgive their pitiful rockets. They haven't harmed us. SCREW THE PRELIMINARY FINDINGS! We cannot be invaded, we will not stand without the help of CIS and NRR. This is bad..."
