Sassinia, what specific weapon do you use to counter my nuclear-powered subs at 15,000 meters deep? And how and what device you used to detect my subs at that depth? It will be pretty easy for me to deal anything if it's in details, either NS or RL MT will do.

Damn, we need to separate MT canons for NS and RL. It's kinda tiring to explain shizzles like this.

Artite will embarck on yet another great Crusade, however I must know what majority religion is in Sassinia.

It is not possible for a submarine in MT to go 15,000 meters deep.

No submarine IRL has been designed to go that deep, and never will be, because there is no place in the world that is that deep. The deepest point in the ocean is 10,900 meters.

RL submarines are estimated to have a crush depth at the best, of 730 meters.

I can't believe my civil war actually caused a larger war hahaha

I may get involved here if I find the time.

Just a heads-up.

so are we allowing Sassinia to use the WMDs because I put forth a report to the Roman Alliance about asking the alliance to condemn it and allow Artite to take action about it.

The majority seems set against it.

If that's the case, I'll edit it out, I guess.

Anyway, to Quirina: Like Allanea said, no submarine can go to a depth of 15,000 meters.

Artite: Most of Sassinia's population is irreligious. However, the largest religion is Zoroastrianism.

So you are not a Catholic nation. Hahaha good. I can now deploy troops under the pretense of a Holy Crusade against heretics. Yes I am a fan of warhammer 40k

Hey, hope I'm posting on the right thread here ;) Saw the deal with the Rods from God and I couldn't help butt in.

Assuming that a nuclear weapon has a yield of 92TJ (9.2x10^13 Joules) and that the rod has a velocity of Mach 25 (8507.25m/s) then ((9.2*10^13)*2)/(8507.25^2) = mass = 2,542,000kg or 2,542t. That's an instant problem with the thing I'd say. Although, from what I've heard they are nigh on impossible to defend against once released (take this part with a grain of salt). Whilst anti-ballistic missile systems do work, those often hit their targets when they're most vulnerable, namely on aseent or when their at their highest point in orbit. Once they're heading back down to earth, the small target area and high speed makes things more difficult - but again, not too sure on this.

On the plus, getting to geostationary orbit doesn't take 12 hours from what I've googled (5 I think I saw).

Don't let this stop you from using them as a plot device mind you, I know Bentus maintains a few of the darn things because the idea is so friggin' cool - if a tad on the scary side.

Bentus out!

You can make a good PMT storefront. Anyways, the problem is already settled, the rod was decreased to half of its claimed speed and somehow was managed realistically. I think we can help each other out in the near future. TG me tho.

I was thinking of me losing, then you guys set up a government, then a nationalist party takes over (by elections or force), then a second war will happen. Kind of like Germany in the First and Second world war.

That's chill.

[Although of course Allanea would IC oppose humiliating Sassinia like Germany was humiliated in 1918.]

I don't think Sass needs to be treated like Germany. We are not neighbors of each other, and considering all of us have different economic systems and politics to run our nations. Maybe just make Sass pay for the damages (which can be of any amount) but not change his system internally.

...and then the reparations BANKRUPT his nation! Mass famine and hyperinflation which results in ivil unrest, the dissolution of government and the rise to power of an extreme political group elected on the basis of defaulting on its obligations!

:3 *drama*

Allanea, yeah it is, that's why the computer virus is "experimental". It has a potential to fail tho, but that doesn't mean it won't work. Also, I see it as a programming script rather than a malware/spyware/adware/whatever that will enter a computer's core systems and do its work there, which is deleting all OS files.

I have a few questions:

1. Is there a map? (and if not is it possible to make one?)
2. As a member of the alliance I would like to take part, however I cannot at this time contribute vast numbers. I would like to offer to support someone else's force and have my commander act as a subordinate to theirs. Is there anyone who would agree to this?

Sassinia's map is in my sig, and for now the RP is dead. NRR is contacting Allanea and the others, so hopefully everything will become okay again.
