The 250 000 strong military Czech People army began invading , the CPA attacked on three fronts the north front from the town of frydik mistik lead by approx 15000 soldiers and 100 tanks from the 6th Army with the goal of controlling the north of slovakia.
The second front was called the East Front , the 2nd army grouping approx 25000 soldiers and 300 tanks covered by katyusha rocket launchers and artillery fire , this front was spearheaded from the town of gottawaldov .
The 3rd front known as the south front , this front was lead by the 1st Army joining 50000 soldiers and 400 tanks covered by MIG jets and artillery fire , this front was launched from the city of brno , the target of the 1st army was to capture the Slovakian capital.
At the meantime in the east of Slovakia an armed insurgency have began , the insurgents were known as the "Movement of the Red star" , the MRS began a guerrilla campaign attacking military posts in rural east slovakia.
