Haiti, FlardaniaThe Kalihiman, upon earlier decision, then decided to station themselves at Port-au-Prince where they rented a few small buildings as their temporary offices. At one of the offices, officers of the Kalihiman 3rd field division had convened. The new satellite feeds of the situation throughout Chucara came in. A 3d map of the area around San Javier and the area around the 2 mile perimeter which was under the Filipino base was shown. For the most part, the discussion amongst the officers were the alleged locations of the other Martinezist and Axis units hidden amongst the jungle which were taken with much greater consideration than the forces which were put by the enemy out in the open. They all theorized that if there were visible units, they were baits or traps which will make them as much as possible focus their energy and alertness on so as to put their guard down against the actual, everyone of them knew what happened in Burma debacle and they did not want to repeat that mistake. And after further ado, the decision was made, not to strike on land yet but execute firsthand "
preliminary military operations". They also made use of the Axis documents which they acquired when Asigna Philippines was still member of the alliance. The doctrines, the troop numbers which were present upon the deployment of the first days of the Martinezist uprising and what they were to expect from the enemy.
"Smart." Commented Trisha, head of the Kalihiman after hearing about the 3rd division's plan to make use of "
every available intelligence resource that will be useful for dealing with the enemy". "The first time we ever had that idea in mind. No wonder we were not so decisive before. It's our time to fix our setbacks." After the planning, there was not much to do in the city so the Kalihiman officers then decided to disguise themselves as Filipino overseas workers or mere tourists for their own protection. Even that, they were still guarded by armed agents in disguise as casual people, members of the Aklan-KK.
Deployment of the men came in the cover of darkness, for reasons unknown "Jérémie airport in sight, we're now going to land." 30 HAD S30 Sylrada ground attack fighter bombers landed on the city's airport all bore the Phi insignia, the typical imposing logo that belonged to Asigna Philippines. 20 F-22 raptors also came, 4 F/A-18 Hornets, 30 LY909 Sparrowhawk fighter jets as well as 4 AWACs, which was viewed us not really needed for the operations but would come in handy one way or another later on.
The 3rd field division's head planner took the initiative of giving the socialist and the loyalist Chucaran's their needed consent first through a highly encrypted communique if they were to execute the "preliminary military operations", which many thought were simply just a bunch of preparation drills. The very long wait already started to make everyone in the Carribean fleet think that they were not going to fight in Chucara at all. In a single night under the cover of darkness, Scout ranger commando units, regular infantry units, Aklan-KK spearhead forces, infantry fighting vehicles were quickly prepared in the port cities of Gonaives, Saint-Marc, Jeremie, Miragoane. In around 0100 H, the men who were sleeping in hotels in the city were woken up silently before each of them were gathered to the port as quickly and silently as possible. Understanding the fact they just woken up, they were given about 20 minutes to fix themselves, eat up their packed breakfast, they were already so ready about this hour that they already slept in their combat uniforms so that they won't have to pass the hassle of dressing up. Things were going to be executed as quickly as possible, the 30 assigned commandos where given only 3 minutes to prepare themselves, each of them grabbed their ammunition, their respective weapons and rations good for only 3 days, their combat uniform was lightened up to the point that they looked more like a simple rag tag force than the usual commando units that were deployed in Burma. The 30 commandos were quickly loaded in the prepared flotilla of motorized
bancas that were poised as fishing boats used by locals.
In a final note, their commander said to them. "Ranger hukbo...this is going to be just like operation Merdeka...only...
tougher."
"We've seen tougher things..." One of the rangers smiled as they loaded their small boxes of ammunition and various special hand held equipment unto the bancas. The man already saw the horror of war in South Rothinzil and has already learned that being a soldier needs preparation, they already learned it the hard way when they weren't prepared for an enemy missile counter attack on their positions as well as several attempted raids made against them. Determined not to repeat the same mistake, he already thought of all the possible scenarios that will reach them in this operation. He already thought of everything that could happen to them and whatever they could face. "There is no room for backing down." He said as he stepped unto the boat before it started its engines and sailed off into the darkness. Trying to be as invisible as they can, GPS was the only thing guiding them through the darkness of the sea which was illuminated by the weak light of the starry night overhead. There were about 15 of them in each boat, meaning, only 2 bancas were sailing as of this time which was actually a slightly scary fact as they risk facing a far greater enemy fleet that dwarfs their meek commando transport force, most of the enemy fleet however, as intelligence determines, were at the southern seas of Chucara.
The whole trip was going to be boring yet that some slept for those who had been assigned to keep a sharp look out with their night vision goggles, it was going to be tense. The look outs kept turning left and right watching out for aircraft carriers and overhead enemy assets. Prepared as they could to the situation if ever they were caught, they wore the outfits of poor fishermen which they kept at the cabinets of the banca. Every possibility came in mind. "Martinezist submarines...." One mumbled to himself as he searched the oceans for any suspicious movement. "Martinezist submarines.. Great white shark......"
"Great white shark?" His fellow look out raised a brow.
"
Pasensya...we're near the Gulf of Mexico..we should expect those things.
Keep a sharp lookout na!"
Boredom might consume them so they agreed earlier to take turns at being the lookout so the other could take a break. To break their boredom, they listened to radio signals and had music players with them which contained music sung by soldiers and those pop songs which were deemed as "Hukbo favorites".
There were 3 zones that were going to be their potential landing zones for their scouting.

It has begun
2 mile perimeter, Filipino "perimeter zone"In the perimeter zone, one of the projection technicians then started to arrange another message for the Chucaran people. Just as before, After the projection of a Phi insignira which appeared in the air through the clouds as a "canvass", the portrait of the information minister, Adriano Timente showed. His loud voice echoed through the sky through ultra loud giant speakers which were aimed at the people of San Javier so they could hear the message, the sky projection was only to capture their attention.
"Friends in Chucara...For so long...for so long we all have seen fascism roam the world. We had seen terror oppress nations, quash their freedom, so many people whose rights and dignities had been lost, all because of the biased one sided ideology of fascism. Chucara, freedom is your destiny. You deserve to be a great free nation no longer under socialism or fascism, rather, something better.
Martinez, this man...." "Has not any right to determine the destiny of the Chucaran people as much as his guerrillas and terrorists do. These people don't have a future, as the vision of the Martinezist brigadiers is a world of constant war, oppression and pompousness. Whilst, there is no progress in this manner. Societies grow stagnant as they are forced to practice the same routines over and over as expression is heavilly controlled and dictated by dictators, appointed by those who organize, support and instigate rebellion back at Santiago de Cuscatlan, the capital of political terror and evil."
"These people would have no qualms in joining forces with other irrational terrorists, Islamists, Nazis...Principle for them is out of the question...So long as these people could get forces that will fight against those whom they see as enemies of their agenda, they will immediately fund, arm, train and fight with these people...terrorist or not. Their principle of indiscriminate support is unparalleled to that of the corrupt principles of the two superpowers during the cold war.
We all know god. He does not want this war to happen mostly because he does not want for anyone to suffer, but he understands that Chucarans must fight for their liberation from their own government which has mishandled them for so long but that doesn't mean one must turn to radicalism for the liberation of their nation as surrendering to Martinezism would mean surrendering to the same authoritarian government and oppression which you, Chucarans have had enough already...You all deserve better. Socialists, i know your minds are still soft enough so you are still able to reconsider the kind of society in which you fight for.
As we commence the strategic bomb strikes against to punish the unholy elements that has plagued Chucara, this opportunity is the perfect opportunity for the people of Chucara to finally rise up for their freedom and push the enemy and those intruding to eat up the deserved free will of the Chucaran people back into the shores of the island and finally running back to their respective homeland where these army of mercenaries and volunteers belong to.
Do not die for the bigoted Cuscatlani pirate who wears the eye patch in his left eye, live and fight for yourselves! After all, that is why god has given us our own free will, we will keep this free will and with this free will, we can say no one else owns us! You are not communists nor Martinezists....you are who you are...You are Chucarans as we, your brothers who are speaking to you are Filipinos!
At this very moment, the operation has begun, your opportunity has come. You'll be given 10 seconds to enter the thoughts of a truly Chucaran government that is neither leftist or rightist which favors any given ideology that is just invented by some foreign nation....let this revolution be one that is truly Chucaran....clench your fists in the air, grab your weapons and fight! VIVA LA REVOLUCION CHUCARO!
Liberate your own villages and take no sides, when the time comes that Martinezist nor communist forces are out of the picture, it would be time for you to unite with the other fellow Chucarans who had also risen up. May god bless you all. We are praying for the deliverance of your nation from its plight."
The projection then vanished from the sky and the night again was silent of any real louder noise other than the noise from the crossfire in Chucara below.
At Port Au prince, several launchers were moved to port in the darkness into the ports. A total of 30 LY7/4072 Cockatrice Multiple Rocket System were lined up in different locations in the city LY219/220 Shepherd STMRAD along with the anti aerial flak tanks, the Vino (Fury) Type 3 accompanied the missile launching units.
Back at the Zamboanga tower, a team of scientists lead by the science minister of the bayan, Doktor Darwin Gonzales were assigned to oversee executing the tactical launch operations.
"Perfect payback time for the Martinezists." Said Meier who was merely watching the scientists do their stuff on the screens and computers. He was awed by the fact that they were controlling launchers that are located on the other side of the world. "We have a 1/40 chance of actually hitting the targets...according to my mental math, that's the best case scenario."
"That's very discouraging we all should think this will work...We have only 3 immobile targets in Chucara..." Complained one of the scientists.
"We have a lot of targets to deal with...." Meier replied.
"And we use so many missiles on each one target why?"
"Out of the sake of being sure that the target and the surrounding vicinity gets eliminated."
Doktor Darwin, head of the science team
The final stages of the preparation then commenced as the technicians as well as the main members of the science team started reciting the technical terminologies and checks. "Finished programming the GPS coordinates...Block IV TLAM-E warheads are now in place. All systems go."
"
Maghanda ng sampung saglit na pagbilang! NA!" Commanded Meier. The Heneral turned to check the time at his watch. "0100 H"
Who knew it was still so early? He thought.

"
TIRA!" Shouted Darwin as buttons were simultaneously pressed. Wireless satellite signals went all the way to the missile launching batteries at Port Au Prince. The missile crews who were taking their breaks jumped in shock as the equipment behind them blasted away their load in a thunderous unison. In about a few seconds, 30 tomahawks were already flying in the sky in full speed. The wonderful sight of the simultaneous eruption of rockets from the city astonished the rocket crews who placed their shades as the rocket boosters lit up slightly lit up the night sky.
"Palacio Nacional...away with you." Mumbled Meier who beholded the status of the missiles on the screens in front of him.
"
TIRA ULIT!" Commanded the Heneral as the scientist and his colleagues pressed the launching buttons again. Back at Port Au prince, the missile batteries opened fired once more. 30 good more missiles fired into the air. It was notable that there was about a 1 minute interval between the two firing phases.
The first 5, guided by GPS coordinates of this little position, headed for impact towards the Palacio Nacional at the capital of the Martinezist insurgency. Incredibly dangerous and lethal cluster munitions, the same old abused kind of tomahawk warheads, was to be used upon this single strike. 5 were targeted towards the power stations at San Javier and another 7 at Guarija. Power line pylons in between cities, were also targeted. 5 were targeted at radio stations, broadcasting stations in different locations at San Javier. The airport at San Javier was the final target of the first batch, the hangars were to be hit by the remaining cluster munition missiles.
Guarija's airport meanwhile was not spared as well. 20 rockets from the second batch hit the Tarmac with cluster munition warheads aiming to totally degrade and finally, destroy the vital parts of the runway to render it in unusable for aircraft, another 5 hit the hangar, high explosive warheads were used on this single strike on the other hand. 8 missiles were to hit the radio stations in Chucara.
"Breaking their access to major medium for communication is a crucial task." Meier commented. The last 2 hit warehouses nearest to the airport, one for each, for the destruction of the alleged supply stations in the city. High explosive warheads were used in these final strike, which Meier commented, was indecisive but "could come pretty handy, even though lack of planning for these 2 last rockets would mean it's pretty much useless for achieving us a strategic advantage".
The "preliminary operations" were not over, in fact, Meier said that they will not even stop at all.
"We won't be stopped until Martinez and all evils are expelled from the island once and for all. Until Chucara is free." He said to the science team.
Meier then watched as one by one, the icons which represent the launchers on the Haiti map at the big screen where marked from "
READY" to "
FIRED". "Phase one is over, phase two begins." The Heneral said taking a deep breath as he announced in a moderate indoor voice to the science team and to all others with him in the underground control center where they are right now. "Operation storm hunter..
has begun." He puffed. As of this time, the launchers at Port Au prince began to reposition into their new designated areas further up in the city near the mountains where population was less.
Punungan palace."Operation storm hunter.....?" The Filipino leader blinked. The brigadier Heneral, who just whispered to him the news of the commencement of the operations swallowed as he was nervous that he will receive criticism from Terten, who earlier remarked of how they were tired of wars. "The Hukbo economy can handle all these right? We cannot be sure the Dangan corporation alone can keep every expenses we have in full check. Plus, these times, Cuscatlan may retaliate one way or another in an unpretty fashion, every single official must be under full time protection of the Aklan-KK, am i understood?"
"Opo Gin'o."
"What's the holy week meter at?"
"Good friday punong...."
"Good enough. Come! Eat with me.
At ease Brigadier Heneral. This war to reverse the horror that we mistakenly made that is the Axis has just begun. They want war with us? We'll then fight back." As it seemed, Terten already had renewed attitude for a military conflict, but his attitude towards Burma may not be the same, many suspect, it's only in Chucara since he has a far greater agenda to achieve there, he hasn't told anyone what it was.
'Shipfishing zones'
Eluide meanwhile, was at Port Au prince, eating inside a restaurant with several of his colleagues in the, the moment he heard the rockets were to fire, he gave the go signal for his part of the operation to commence. The Heneral also found out that the time was 0100 H as well, still early.
30 LY909 Sparrowhawk fighter jets took off from Jeremie and headed for, they were divided into 5 groups as they took off. They headed for the As their targets, the enemy ships come into sight, they shall disperse into different directions and begin engagement maneuvers, which shall happen much later. Every enemy ship in their path was to be destroyed, by exocets. Within 3 kilometers, immediately, each Sparrowhawk would fired 2 lethal exocets and dive low a bit to drop 2 rounds of
P-800 Uhoq (Onyx) Anti-Ship Missiles, for each ship they see, heading back to base after they already got one in order to refuel, rearm and return to the field. P-800 Uhoq (Onyx) Anti-Ship Missile, the P-800-A, Meier recently warned of its potential to sink a ship as those air launched torpedoes would able to make "supersonic" sprints towards their target in a manner that the target ship has only so much time to react. Even though untested by them, Meier was very enthusiastic about testing this weapon which had long been existing in his inventory and actually using it in open combat. Only trial runs had been made by their pilots and they were tested against immobile units, whether or not this is the right weapon to be used against the enemy battleships existing in southern seas of Chucara, it's only a question of time.
It didn't matter them how long it would take for the pilots to fly continuously in the two defined "Anti ship fishing zones" (shortened to 'shipfishing' by Meier) within the time limit given to them. (maximum of 3 hours before returning to base)
Understanding the situation they just had undergone to, the vice admiral at the BRP Gitlan carrier decided to go "offensive by the air" but "defensive on water". Things were dire, the moment the firing began they all knew that their carrier would be the immediate target so they would have to settle for right defense, fast.
A dozen of the 20 plane strong Corsaire fighter bomber fleet in the carrier was made to fly in a circular motion around the carrier in a 4 kilometer sized perimeter so as to cover the carrier with a protective "aerial cover". The vice admiral also knew the fact that the Axis has the capability to sink a ship even at long range, hearing about the recent events of the fate of the Dorian carrier group at the Adaman sea in the Burmese civil war.
"Hard to starboard full speed ahead!" He ordered as the carrier began to turn southeast so as to reach the range of the airforce umbrella in the shipfishing zones. The dozen Corsaires which kept making aerial patrols around the 2 kilometer perimeter kept a close eye on the movement of aerial assets from the north.
