The result from yesterday’s elections is just in. You cannot say that it was anything other than a bang! The communists in KSP, Kopparbergs Socialist Party, was completely marginalized as they got only 12 % of the votes. In today’s government they have 60 % of the seats in the “Riksdag”. Today’s winner is undoubtedly KD, Kopparbergs Democrats, as they gained 40 % of the votes and is by far the largest party.

“Well, this is utterly embarrassing! I take full responsibility for this disastrous election and I will of course resign as Prime Minister. I also would like to congratulate Fredrik Åkesson (KD) to his huge successes with this election.”
“Thank you Werner. We have also got a statement from the winner in this election, Fredrik Åkesson, the leader of the Kopparbergs Democrats (KD). In the statement he says that he will take the responsibility to form the new government and take the position as Prime Minister. Fredrik is going to use the next couple of days to form the new government.
It is not clear as of today if the KD will form a minority government on their own or if they are going to invite one or two of the other parties.”
