The Arab Socialist Soviet Republic of Alsheb condemns the heinous and terrible crimes committed by the Bolriegian fascists in in our neighbour, the Republic of Iraq. Once again, the capitalists have shown themselves to be nothing more than warmongering, bloodthirsty criminals who seek only to enslave the free people of this world for the sake of natural resources and maximized profit. What else could we expect from a nation run by corporate slaveowners?

Alsheb stands firmly by the people of Iraq. We will support any forces loyal to the former Iraqi government as well as any non-fundamentalist religious rebel groups in their fight against Bolriegian occupation.

Admiral Sandecker stood on the bridge of his command ship, and watched in awe as the Imperial ships gracefully sailed past on their way to the RV point outside Qatar. Even from their current respective distance, the sleek and majestic forms of the purpose built warships was something to be marveled at as they plowed through the cold waters of the gulf. He stood there and stared for a few more moments, before grumbling to himself as he turned to address the rest of the command staff.

"It's time to get the party started." he said in his normal no nonsense voice.

"Helm, ahead full and left rudder heading two eight zero degrees and bring this steel bitch into the wind."

"Aye Sir!" came the reply.

"Tactical, scramble a pair of F-220's and have them proof a route into and over projecting landing site. I want to know what the fuck it is exactly that is in front of us."

"Aye Sir!" Again was the reply. Already, he could feel the ship lurching as it started to make it's turn into the wind while gaining speed.

"Coms, signal the commander of the MEU and inform him to commence landing preparations at one. I want his Marines ready to land as soon as our counterparts are ready. I don't want our Allies waiting on us for this one."

"Aye Sir!"

With that, the bridge of the ship was bathed in a reddish light as the center went tactical as General Quarters was sounded across the fleet and it suddenly became a bustling hive of activity. Sandecker just turned his attention out the reinforced window of the bridge, and watched as the deck elevators brought up a pair of aircraft from the cavernous depths of his ship. In a few short minutes, the aircraft were catapulted into the warm air and soon disappeared from his sight.

He smiled at the sight and busied himself with monitoring the readiness of the fleet.

As the ships of the fleet settled into position with the ships of the dominion Forces, SD-182 pulled up next to what they figured out to be the lead ship of the Dominion Naval Forces. Admiral Briggs walked out onto the observation deck of his vessel and pulled a bullhorn out from a box. He turned it on and pointed it towards his counterparts bridge and spoke loudly through it, "Ahoy, there matey!" He then turns to his XO, who was standing next to him, "I've always wanted to say that."

The Amercian Soviets sends the 6th Legion to assist the Iraqis and destroy the monarchy! Bombing runs around the palace and its defenses will begin immediately,with ships firing onto the shore. PVA paratroopers will also be deployed into the surrounding villages and cities to surround the capital. A land force of T72 tanks and other armored personel will meet up with the paratroopers by tommorrow.

The audio was deafening due to the specialized design of the carrier, which is why the flight deck crews wore noise canceling headphones that were fifteen times better than the ones that you normally use on carriers. Along the far end of the carrier you could see three H-483 Broadsword Strike Fighters being brought up from the hanger deck. Within a few minutes they were attached to the catapults and prepared for launch.
Below deck the pilots were finishing up their briefing, "...with that we will secure the skies over the LZ and ensure the safety of the Marines on the ground. Flight group Echo will be the first in the air. That is all. Happy Hunting!" With that the pilots of Flight Group Echo got up and walked out the door of the briefing room and made their way up to the flight deck. Three of the pilots made their way onto the deck to their awaiting aircraft while the other two held back. You could hear the elevator moving as the last two aircraft could be seen raising up to be level with the flight deck.
"Echo Leader to control," said the lead pilot from the safety of his cockpit. "Seeking clearance for takeoff, orders Tango Three Five Niner."
"Roger that, Echo Leader," replied the tower. "Permission granted, T Minus Ten Second before catapult of first aircraft, with a 5 second gap between other aircraft."
"Understood, control," the pilot stated. Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, he starts to push the throttle of his aircraft a little bit for the initial takeoff, Five, Four, Three, Two, One. With a sudden jolt, the aircraft was thrown clear of the internal flight deck into the night sky. As soon as the aircraft cleared the deck, the pilot slammed his thrust to full, his scramjets kicked into full gear.
Over the next minute the other four aircraft of the flight group were ejected out the carrier and joined the flight leader several hundred yards away from the carrier. They banked and proceeded on their designated heading of Three Five Seven One Two mark Nine One Four Eight. It would take them Fifteen minutes to get to their designated rally point.

On the Helicopter landing pad on top of the Carrier several AC-01cg Pelicans were loading up with weaponry as well as Marines, preparing for landing on the beachhead. Unsure as what to find when they hit the port city, they were bringing along extra grenades as well as swapping out the XR-03 Sub Machine Guns with the XR-12 Squad Automatic Weapons (SAW) and additional XR-01 Battle Rifles.
Major Thomas Williams, Son of the supreme Emperor, was among the first people to get into the Pelican. Holding his XR-08 DMR with his XR-02 Handgun on his hip, he waited for the rest of his Marine group to get on the pelican behind his seat before he pushed the button to raise up the landing ramp to effectively close off the Pelican from the outside world. Within seconds of the landing ramp closing, the Pelican lifted off of the flight deck and adjusted it's thrusters so that it went full speed ahead flying towards the shoreline to the designated LZ.
"This is Pelican Kilo Five Niner to Flight Group Echo, we are making our approach, over?" said the pilot of the Pelican, shifting his stick ever so slightly to bank towards the Iraqi coast. Behind him on the flight deck a total of 9 more Pelicans took off and began heading towards the shoreline. Their weaponry was sweeping back and forth looking for any hostile targets in the vicinity.
"Roger that, Kilo Five Niner," replied Echo Lead. "We are beginning our sweeps of the water as well as the shoreline, hold position Two Clicks off the shoreline and await further instructions."
"Roger that, Echo Lead," the pilot of the Pelican replied.

I'm not really clear on the sides, but I'm supporting Iraq.

OOC: Well, my side is plotting to restore the Kingdom of Iraq (which existed IRL under the regime of the Hashemites, who currently rule Jordan), but under a Ganosian monarch. It's all inspired by the White Rajahs of Sarawak and the reign of Louis Bonaparte in Holland. The ideology will initially be Hobbesianism, an ideology I created for my nation, until "Allawism" (named after Faisal Allawi, leader of the Iraqi Royalists) will be created. I so far RP as the Ganosian backed Royalist militia, but later will deploy Imperial soldiers to back them up.

Alshebian soldiers in newly-conquered Haditha

The Alshebian Armed Forces and Fedayeen al-Iraq are reported to have conquered Ramadi and surrounding areas, and are marching east fast. According to most recent news footage, they are in control of most of Al-Anbar province, with the exception of major cities such as Fallujah and its surrounding countryside.
A major blow was struck when Alsheb conquered the city of Haditha, at the Euphrates river. Alshebian soldiers have started to dig in at the west bank of the Euphrates in this region, intending to defend the territory occupied thus far, while waiting for the rest of Al Anbar Governorate to be pacified.

The Air Support reported that the are in and around the LZ was clear, save for some Iraqi civilians. Pelican Kilo 59 was making it's approach from the south-east, flying at 20 meters or so off of the ground as the gun operator in the co-pilot seat was sweeping back and forth with the belly mounted automatic watching for any enemy fire. With the number of factions that are rumored to be in country, he didn't want to take any chances.
Thomas sat in the back, looking at a monitor that was rigged up for the leaders of the fire teams to keep an eye on the area from the viewpoint of the pilots, he could move the image around to see a full 360˚ view of the are around the Pelican. He grabbed his radio headset and put it on, "All Marines, be advised that I will be the first to set foot on the field. Once your doors open, wait 3 seconds then jump out, in those few seconds I will be exiting my Pelican." He then thought for a minute. "This operation, as you all know, is not to defend the Empire. What we are doing here is helping a long time ally of ours bring peace and prosperity to these lands. Bringing peace to the War Torn Iraqi people will not only help them become a shining beacon of hope for the world, but also show the world that they are not a people to be messed with."
"The Ganosians are our friends, we will do whatever is in our power to ensure that this operation saves as many lives as possible; on BOTH sides." he emphisized the word 'both', even though he knew that the men were praying to whatever God they believed in that more of those rotten bastards die than the Allied Nations. "Lets do what needs to be done and get the fuck home," he finished with. "Oorah!"
The pelicans suddenly banked to the left, putting the men off kilter slightly before it straightened out. Thomas got out of his seat and walked up to the front of the Troop Bay and pushed a button to open up coms with the pilot and asked, "What the fuck was that about?"
"Sir, there was a problem with the number 4 engine, we had to compensate for a second to stabilize the aircraft," the pilot replied. "We'll need to check out that engine once we get on the ground, I'll need one fire team to stay behind while the engine is inspected to see what happened."
"Alright, probably just an air bubble in the line," Thomas replied. He then got back on his radio, "Fire team 428, you will stay behind with Kilo Five Niner until they can assess their engine issue. When they figure out the problem and fix it, meet us at Rally Point Charlie."
"Understood, sir," the lead Marine of that fire team said. Thomas thought to himself that he hoped the problem was minor and that they didn't have to call for a retrieval squad to airlift the Pelican back to the carrier. That wold put this whole operation behind by several hours.
As he got back to his seat at the back of the Pelican, he punched a few buttons along the sides of his monitor and brought up the status of the fleet, it seemed that the Admiral ordered the LMSR's that was reassigned from the 12th BattleGroup to theirs for this operation to begin it's approach to the coast with an escort of 4 cruisers. They hadn't gotten underway yet but their engines were warming up for the approach. At least this gave them a shorter amount of time before other elements of the Marines were on the ground with vehicles ready to assist in the operation. He punched a few more button sand brought his monitor back to the 360˚ view of the outside of the Pelican. He watched, waiting for their arrival at the LZ...

Alshebian soldiers and Fedayeen in a town just outside of Fallujah

Fallujah, Central Iraq

Alshebian troops have been sighted in the outskirts of Fallujah, opening fire on Bolriegian military targets in the city centre with heavy artillery and combat helicopter strikes. At 12:04 this noon, Alshebian military officials have encountered military units from the Royal Iraqi Army (RIA) to the south of Fallujah, and have banded together with them with the goal of liberating Fallujah.

Heavy door-to-door fighting has been reported in the outskirts of Fallujah and surrounding towns, with at least a hundred casualties reported so far. Bolriegian forces put up a fierce resistance, but the combination of Alshebian military discipline and Fedayeen ferocity and fanaticism seems to be working for the Allied forces so far.
