Preparation were made on the ground for the arrival of the Ordian diplomat. Two diplomatic vans would be waiting by the tarmac to pick-up the diplomat and immediately transport him to coastal town of Hameş. VOTING ENDS IN PALDAVIA - TERRORIST LEADER PROMISES MORE ATTACKS

The voting in Paldavia have officially ended. Now the country process has begun in the small country. Exit polls show a strong turnout at the polls and suggest that a comfortably majority voted for a change in status of Paldavia. Recent opinion polls were showing that a majority of people support that Paldavia becomes a Protectorate of Bratislav, and after which, a vote may be held to decide if Paldavia wants to become an official region. Experts however stress that being a Protectorate may be the best option for Paldavia at this moment. Firstly, Paldavia retains a symbolic amount of independence, in still technically being an independent state, which will please the opposition, while Paldavia becomes deeply integrated with Bratislav like a region would and falls under the security umbrella of Bratislav. Furthermore, it puts less financial strain on the Government of Bratislav. Opinion polls suggest that many people have understood these key advantages and thus it is expected that Paldavia be approved by the votes to be a Protectorate.

While voting was taking place throughout the day, the leader of the Paldavian People's Front, a Maoist, guerrilla terrorist organization based in the Southern Border region of Paldavia, has declared that the "war is only starting" and that his people will resist the "fake, oligarchic" Paldavia Government. The leader is a former Professor of Philosophy, Samu Burev, who has inspired hundreds of poor farmers and workers to join his movement. The Paldavian Government has laughed off Burev's threats and said that his terrorist movement will be obliterated soon enough, and that Burev should stop "wasting his breath". The Paldavian Government has warned foreign states against accepting Burev for asylum. It is said that Burev has applied multiple times to Cydonia to be accepted for assylum, saying the authorities in Cydonia would understand his struggle and ideology.

George Dailock has overheard the ending of the voting in Paldavia, however, the Paldavian People's Front, has declare attacks that would threaten the unification and the independent war is unenviable if the unification is a failure. To secure the needs for the Bratislav government, the Emmerian government is wiling to cooperate with security presences, but wishes to aviod any unnecessary incidents that would jeopardize the plan like the Lowren Bay Crisis, Dailock has sent a naval task force called Task Force 1A of CSF ALFA to help with security details and the presences of a another crisis. Emmerian military personnel in Task Force 1A is ordered to remain on a high alert for details. While that is said, Dailock is willing to counter any terrorism operations that would bring this plan into a ultimate devastation.

George Dailock: Well this seems to be going at a up and down basis considering the Lowren Bay Crisis, that incident would be catastrophic for the menbers of the IFA and the WC if things like that goes out of control.

Salter Saquinn:Yes, and despite that, the Paldavian People's Front is a major threat to the unification. Its always the oppertunity to strike at the weakest in a country and now, we must don something to help them.

George Dailock: Not too hasty Falters, the Parliament agreed that the Emmerian Navy is sending a task force to help with security details for the country and if any nation is willing to hunt the terrorist down, then we must help then hunt them. In the meantime, the drones formthe Air Force and the Navy will provide surveillance and flight escort for civilian aircrafts, but are not authorized to engage if necessary, and the Bratislav government wishes to have the unification peacefully without bloodshed. Globus withdraws GNS Lochwell from Bratislav

GNN - In a surprising move, President Comte ordered the immediate withdrawal of the GNS Lochwell, an aircraft carrier currently deployed in Bratislav. The move comes as tensions rise in the Bay of Lowren rise with the presence of Ordian naval forces nearby. In a press statement, Comte stated why he ordered the move.

"Today, I have ordered the immediate withdrawal of the GNS Lochwell from Bratislav. I hope this will set an example to other allies, to calm their forces. Bratislavian waters are crowded with too many vessels, only increasing tensions in the Bay of Lowren. I fear the great military presence is only encouraging a naval fight, as many navies in Atlas claim the title of the strongest. I have asked that all naval forces be homeported, the ease tension in the Bay of Lowren, so the unification way get under way. Since I deployed the carrier two weeks ago, other allies decided to copy, mainly to show off their guns. VOTERS BACK MAKING PALDAVIA A PROTECTORATE OF BRATISLAV

President Solomev of Paldavia talks with reporters following the Referendum results

In the morning hours of the day, voting results of the national referendum have officially come out showing the following results:

What should the future status of Paldavia be?
A. Remain the same (18%)
B. Paldavia should become a protectorate of the Republic of Bratislav (68%)
C. Paldavia should become a region of the Republic of Bratislav (14%)

The results clearly show that the majority of Paldavians have expressed a legitimate desire to become a protectorate of Bratislav. Voters have expressed their view that as a protectorate they will have the best balance of both being highly integrated with Bratislav, but also retaining a little bit of sovereignty, albeit it is more symbolic than anything else.

President Solomev in a press conference alongside President Albanov has said that the results of the referendum are 'historic' and that his government will swiftly ratify the law that officially makes Paldavia a protectorate of Bratislav. President Albanov for his part has also congratulated the Paldavian people on their vote and has said that once the Paldavian Government ratifies the law, the two Presidents will be ready to sign the official agreement. President Albanov has invited several foreign heads of state to the signing ceremony. The official agreement will be laid out that day.

President Albanov has also called for a de-escalation of tensions in the region. He has said that the past days have seen a great increase of tensions in the Atlas region. He furthermore affirmed that representative of his government will be holding talks with Ordia and that tensions with Ordia should hopefully not rise anymore. The President was also confident that the situation near Bratislav's coasts should not escalate and again thanked the several allies that have been very dedicated to helping defend Bratislav and Paldavia in this fragile time. President Albanov praised the IFA and its allies and also gave hope that the IFA-WC merger will yield an even larger and more powerful alliance.

Victor's plane had in flight sor sometime now, cruising over the blue waters of Lowren. The Captain announced that Victor may wish to look out his window, doing so he spotted the ships, far far down below in the water. They looked almost like miniature replica models from this distance, if he could just reach out and pick them up. But, they were more real, and dangerous than any models. Hopefully they wouldn't prove it though. The Captain then announced even greater news, they were approaching the coast, and be crossing over soon. Victor began to prepare his documents, containing "orders", information of various things, and any possibly needed documents showing his identity and purpose.

The pilots began speaking to someone on the ground, and the jet began to descend a little lower. Victor was still slightly nervous, what would be more difficult to deal with? Their demands? Or their animosity? The President had really outdone himself this time...

I commend Bratislava and Paldavia on there peaceful referendum that was held yesterday, This is a great step in stabilizing the region for the better of the peoples. There seems to still be a small sect of terrorist who have tried to stop the merge and strike fear in there own countrymen by caring out cowardly attacks and killing innocence. I have decided to put up a resolution in my nations congress that would allow me to deploy a brigade of marines to Paldavia to help allied peacekeepers already they're eradicate the PPF.

I would also like to commend the nation of Globus for there attempts to stabilize the region, I have ordered the 2nd Naval Task Force to move most of its vessels accepts its frigates and nuclear submarines back into the Curente Ocean from there current positions in the Bay of Lowren. In an effort to simmer down tensions in the region.

I again would ask the nation of Oridia to move there naval vessels out of the Bay of Lowren and stop all naval exercises with in the bay. There actions have successfully put many nations on edge and greatly destabilized the region, Although there willingness to use diplomacy and hold talks with Bratislav is a step in the right direction.

A commander always worried about the well bean of his/hers troops. Conner thought. In fact he knew he did not doubt his personnel's capabilities, Which where some of the best in the world. The Rear Admiral had received orders from the president to land his task force's compliment of 2,000 marines and move most of his vessels back to the Curente Ocean, Although he had not given the order yet. He had not felt this filling since having to give orders to land troops on Ezmexican soil in the Inton-Ezmexican War. Conner's only joy was the picture of his four month old granddaughter Alisa which he had been deployed to soon to see, Her black hair was as dark as his and it always made him smile. Alisa also reminded him of his son Senior Lieutenant Isaiah Terrance, Who died when the Barrack Obama-Class Guided Missile Destroyer USDS Barry was attacked by Port Charlotte Air Force planes and most of her crew was killed in the Inton-Ezmexican War. Port Charlotte had since been defeated after those events. Alisa's father died without ever seeing his daughter, Conner new Alisa looked so much like his lost son.

Conner wiped his face, Which was sightly covered in tears and forwarded his orders to the commanders of every ship via laptop, Which would then send the orders down there line of officers. Which would lead the enlisted personnel. The task force would stay in the Bay of Lowren till the 2,000 marines where safely in Bratislav, This was projected to take four hours. The marines are tasked with moving south into northern Paldavia to link up with allied troops there and destroy the PPF in southern Paldavia. The air force had begun flying stealth drones over Paldavia and Oridia. The commander of the 3rd Brigade/1st Marines Colonel Charles Westclerk was tasked with notifying allied forces.

LT General Lenard L. Votel of the Republican Army, has received acceptance from the BRATISLAVIAN & PALDAVIAN CENTRAL COMMAND to participate in the hunt for the Paldivian People's Front organization. 19 Emmerian Rangers are ordered to deploy at 22:00 hrs greentime to Paldavia. The Air Force is sending in the 21st Attack Hog Squadron, which a squadron of 14 QA-10 drones will provide support for the task force. The Ranger unit will be led by Capt. John Sower of the 75th Ranger Regiment, to Paldavia. The Rangers will be equipped with a personnel manual remote to control the drones in the sky for air support and reconnaissance.

John Sower: "Alright boys listen up, our mission, is to assist the IFA anti terrorist organization to eliminate the PPF, a designated terrorist organization to disrupt the unification and the President has ordered EJ-SOC to go in and kill them. "Hello, men. As you know, we will soon be conducting an operation to destroy a rebel weapons cache in the town of Bijo." Lieutenant Dworzak spoke to the various men in the briefing room of the airbase, all of them in their BDU's as the operation were to take place in two hours. No combat gear yet, though soon enough it would come. Dworzak continued speaking as the soldiers continued paying attention. "Now not only is the camp crawling with rebels, the town is too. We estimate there may be about 20 of them crawling all over the town and camp, not including some sentries just outside the town. To the east and west sides of the town, there is some forestry. Now, let's start from the beginning how we will pull this off." He then pulled on a string just in front of the whiteboard at the front of the room revealing a map of Bijo. "There are two areas we need searched and cleaned of rebels. Austzelandi and Devontan forces will be clearing area two, which is in the northern part of the town, while Emmerian SOF forces will be clearing area one in the southern part. Both teams will be inserted by Ural-4320 truck on a road within the forest, and will go from there with the attack. Now I know what you're all thinking. What happens after we've completed the objective?" He pointed to a compound on the western side of the village near the forest. "Once you have destroyed the cache and eliminated all rebels in the area, you will meet up here. Radio your drivers to get to the western road for extraction, and you'll be outta there quickly." Going to the folding table behind him, he crossed his arms and began speaking again. "That's really all for the plan. You will have a MEDEVAC helicopter on stand-by to extract any casualties, and the UAVs above are CAS capable if you request it." Looking back to the board, then to the crowd again, he finished up. "Well, that's all. I got a minute or two for questions so now is the time to ask them." Almost immediately, four men put their hand up. "Okay, starting with your Kozlowski." Private Kozlowski put his hand down and began speaking with his young voice. "What about civilians in the town, sir?" Dworzak knew the answer right away. "There are civilians in the town. Watch your fire, and make god damn sure there are no civilians in the area for when you blow up the cache. Those explosives you're gonna be packing create a huge explosion." He went to the next soldier. "Yes, Corporal Jelinek." "Will there be any hostile vehicles sir?" Dworzak also knew that. "A technical packing a mounted PKM was spotted in the village, parked. It is within area two, so be cautious if it's operational." There were two more. "Yes, Prchal." "What about hostile and friendly reinforcements sir?" "Apart from the Hip that'll be doing any MEDEVAC that arises, we will have no reinforcements." Finally, the last question. "Yes, Sergeant Wolyn." "Is there anything else we need to look for or destroy, sir?" "Ahh. Missed that. Pardon me. I want you to also snoop around for any clues that may lead to our investigation for links between the ADRP and PPF." With that, the briefing wrapped up. "Okay, that's all. It was all a surprise for the young first lieutenant and his squad, It had been only six hours ago the where told to even touch foot in Paldavia and Bratislav, Marcus was pulled aside by his companies commander and told about the mission and his squad had been chosen to conduct it. The where loaded onto a V-22 and flown to Bersag Airbase from whey're an U.S.D Air Force C-5 Super Galaxy picked them up and took them to Palos Airbase, When they got to Palos they where expected to find there barracks and not get to comfortable.

The marines were already ready fr the operation by 0300 AM and ready for the up and coming operation, The new almost all missions either begin earlier then expected or not on time. Marcus looked around the barracks and could see each of his marines engaged in conversation and even laughing at each others inside jokes or talking about the mission that laid ahead of them, The squad was waiting for two more marines from a Recon sniper platoon and some of the squad members where wondering if they where going to show up.

Where the hell do you think are sniping buddies went? Sir!, Asked a young smartass Private.

Marcus chose to ignore the question, Instead he looked directly at the door which was slowly opening, In came two marines holding there M18 Sniper Rifles. "Right they're smartass." Answered Marcus as he nodded his head towards the door. The room fell silent, It was rare that Recon snipers ever worked with other regular marines, They where almost a mystical figure in the military, It was some of the marines first time even seeing a Recon sniper. Marcus rose from his bunk and walked slowly towards the two snipers and extended his hand to the snipers for a handshake.

"First Lieutenant Marcus Jones commander of these marines you see behind me.", The snipers took a look around at the group of marines, The snipers knew from what they where told that the squad they where working with where all veterans of two wars and worth having around. The first sniper a tall, Caucasian bearded marine shook Marcus's hand, "Staff Sargent Oliver Jacobs", Next a much shorter Asian marine with no beard an helmet shook Marcus's hand, "Sargent Danny Toyota". Marcus smiled and lead the two other marines past his squadmates and showed them to there bunks which they began to prepare for the mission in silence, The room was now filled with only whispers mostly about the two Recon snipers.

In an hour the marines would find themselves standing near Ural trucks with there lightly packed packs making last minute preparations for the operation, Praying, checking there face paint or ammo, or if they had forgotten any equipment they needed. Each marine knew his place in the squad and his mission. Marcus had no doubts his battle hardened squad could pull it off.

Southern Paldavia

In the early morning hours of July 24th, 12 troops from the Baku Unit stormed a building complex belonging to a known Paldavian activist. The troops were accompanied with a BTR-80 and proceeded to fire on the building before operators stacked up and breached the complex to clear it. A firefight ensured between the Paldavians and operators. All 6 Paldavians in the complex at the time were killed and A weapon cache of Kalashnikovs, handguns, and grenades were found in the basement. It was figured that the weapons were stolen off the base raided and occupied by them earlier this month. One operative was wounded in the arm and leg. He is expected to survive.

The Baku Unit is now concentrating on the PPF as well and the Cydonian government has officially classified them as a terrorist organization like the Red Triangle and Masalian Liberation Front. The Cydonian Government has announced that it will begin an counter-terrorist mission to stop groups like the Red Triangle and PPF. The manhunt for the PPF leader has begun as it is believed that he had a hand in the orchestrating in the murder of three Cydonian Border Guards.

Southern Cydonia

The Masalian Battalion has completed another reconnisance mission into Southern Bratislav. They were once again simply investigating the whereabouts and security of the possible nuclear facility located in the mountainous region. This marks the second mission into Bratislav this month. A UAV will probably fly into Bratislav next month to take photographs of the surrounding area.

OSS Endeavor deployed to Bratislav, to support coalition operations


The OSS Endeavor and the rest of Carrier Strike Group 9 deployed to Bratislav today as the likelihood of OS involvement in Paldavia grows. This comes hours after the OSAF confirmed the loss of an Armed MQ-9 Reaper over Paldavia, which supposably was shot down by a SA-7B Grail in a rural area of Paldavia. It is currently unclear at this time if the deployment is related. This deployment represents a significant escalation on the OS' policy in the region.

PRESIDENT ALBANOV AUTHORIZES COUNTER-TERROR OPERATION IN PALDAVIA

President Albanov with a Senior Military Advisor

At the early hours of dawn, President Albanov along side his National Security Council, Military officials of both Bratislav and Paldavia, authorized of a multi-national counter-terror operation that was to take place in the Southern region of Paldavia in an attempt to fully eradicate the PPF. Several allies including the Austzelandis, Emmerians, Devonta, and the OSS, were poised to support the counter-terror operation in several manners. Albanov also affirmed that private mercenary firms are also going to aid in the operation.

As President Albanov gave the short speech he said that just moments before speaking, Bratislavian and Paldavian Special Forces were touching down in farmlands in Southern Paldavia via helicopter transport. He said that the counter-terror operation would take some days, but he was confident in the skill and power of the forces of Bratislav and its allies. He also affirmed that Cydonia was fully cooperating on this terrorist issue and proclaimed that terrorism is something everyone can unite against.

The Paldavian People's Front has been gaining strength in the past several years, a Maoist-inspired guerrilla group that has found safe havens in the poor farmlands of the Southern Paldavia. They seek for a full Maoist-style revolution for a new Paldavia.

President Solomev of Paldavia has also confirmed of the anti-terror operation and that with the order of President Albanov the operation has officially commenced. He said that foreign allies will be instrumental in helping our forces defeat this dangerous group.

The constant bumps on the dirt road made the men in the Ural 4320 6x6 truck gain about a centimeter of air every so often, though not enough for the soldiers to constantly complain. Most of the Austzelandi men in the truck were using their standard issue AK-81 assault rifles, while some were using either an RPK-74M LMG or a PKM GPMG. The marksman of the team had a Dragunov SVD. All the men wore somewhat similar combat gear, though the two machinegunners of the team didn't use a chest rig, and instead large pouches for their PKM boxes. The Ural behind the one that contained the squad Sergeant Wolyn followed them with a ten meter spacing, and had it's headlights off. The drivers had night vision goggles to reduce the risk of them being spotted. Finally, both the trucks came to a halt. "Okay, this is our stop. Everyone disembark and regroup behind." Wolyn said over the radio, and to the men in his truck. The Austzelandis and Devontans both shared radios on the same channel, which was modified so nobody else could join it. The tail gate of the Ural went down, and the men hopped out one by one. He could also see the Devontans filing out of the truck. Going in between the two trucks, he flipped down his pair of NVGs from his helmet. Finally all the men, both Austzelandi and Devontan, were gathered around him in a circle. They were all crouching. "Okay, you remember the plan ladies. Get in, take no prisoners, destroy the cache, and investigate for any PPF and ADRP links if at all possible. Even the slightest bit of info counts. Got it?" A loud, but not too loud, "Yes sir." came from the crowd. "That's what I like to hear. Now, for the assault we're gonna have our marksman over here, Corporal Pavel, take up a position in some shrubbery with a spotter to take out any snipers or mounted machine guns that may be in the area we are to search. He'll be near the Devontan snipers so he'll have a good eye on us." A voice was heard. "Rules of engagement, sir?" "Take out anyone who is not wearing a uniform like ours and has a gun. Absolutely do NOT engage any hostiles until you hear Pavel's SVD fire. Unless, of course you are fired upon first or you're spotted by the sentry team." Another yes sir was heard. "We will separate into two sections. Each will have six Austzelandis and six Devontans. After any and all MMGs and or snipers are taken out, one section, which I will be commanding, is going to attack the southern part of the area we're assaulting. Two section will be assaulting the northern part." The soldiers continued to pay attention. "One section will move up twenty paces while the other section suppresses the enemy. Once they've moved up, the suppressing section will move up as the other one suppresses the enemy. Until we reach the village, it's going to be that way. The grass in the field we're moving up on is pretty tall so you will have good concealment." Some nodded. "That's pretty much it. Once we're in the town it's an urban environment. So watch your ass, watch your buddy's ass, watch everyone's ass. Understood?" Once again another yes sir was heard. "Okay. Let's move out. Pro Patria, Marines." The Austzelandis quietly yelled Pro Patria after Wolyn did. It was a part of NAMC tradition to say Pro Patria (latin for For Country) before a battle. The two sections moved through the forest, with the dawn sun just beginning to rise. Though, he told the rest to move up about thirty meters ahead and wait. After that, he went to Marcus of the Devontan Marines to have a little chat. "Good morning First Lieutenant Marcus. I'm Sergeant Wolyn of the 1st/2nd Batallion, 3rd Marines, 5th MEU. New Austzeland Marine Corps. What've you got in mind for when we enter the town?"

The Cenerian Aircraft Carrier CNS Torrent and her battle group are still stationed off the coast of Paldavia, now prepared to assist in any of the counter-terrorism operations ongoing in the prospective region of Bratislav. This morning, the Cenerian Navy offered its naval aircraft to provide air support and transport to the counter-terrorist operatives in the nation of Paldavia. Submarine Squadron 14, based in Virinián, Ceneria, has also dispatched three of it's advanced Tempest-class Nuclear Attack Submarines to augment the already-bristling weapons of the Tempest's Task Force.
