Five Years Ago...
Area #201, Toxic Wastes of Chelert
Vulpter

Swirls of oddly-coloured mists huddled across Mackjo environmental suit as the brawny Yaka effortlessly remove a large rusty piece, followed by several barrels of toxic wastes, "Are you sure it's here?"

"We're confident that it is here Mr. Mackjo, if it's what like the Selonian told us. And watch where you throw that barrel Sir, it's full of oxidizing agents." His partner, an Arakydian-built hazardous environment droid rapidly flinches from the rolling barrels which proceed to break upon a nearby wall and apparently dissolving the duracrete in violent hiss of grey and green.

The Yaka continues to stretch his oversized arms, clad in supporting exeskeleton to remove yet another round of debris from the trash mountain, "This is computationally pointless. Why do we need to exfoliate all this trash? It's all refuse and more non-recyclable materials."

"Statistically speaking, it's because this place is a dump that we need to search here. Vulpter is intragalactically recognized as the refuse hole of the Galaxy, Mr. Mackjo. Do you know of the Human phrasing of a being's refuse is another being's crown?"
The bulky droid then decided to join his uncoordinated search, by manipulating some of the trash with its many limbs and et certera.

Felt challenged by the droid, Mackjo start to remove increasingly larger debris "Another being's nourishment or resources, not crown."

"We stand corrected then, Mr. Mackjo. You may want to smack that critter."
As soon as the heavy duty droid finished talking, a large poisonous centipede then erupted from the trash, confronting the duo.

Its sudden appearance however was short lived; Mackjo squarely aimed upon the creature's wobbling head and launched a broken duracrete pillar to the said position, "Great. I thought you have computed for these anomalies."

The creature ferocity however continues, as indicated by rise of its multiple razor sharp legs from the surrounding trash. Mackjo quickly take the initiative upon a split of second analyzing the creature and launched the embrace of his enhanced power grip to one of the sections of the beast. Multiple searing whites then emanate from his augmented arm, vapourizing on what seemed a second head of the crawling arachnid, which sent its leftover body retreating in uncontrollable spasms. Just before Mackjo aimed his left hand to the escaping creature, his companion opened fire, dousing the hapless creature in incendiary plasma, setting it alight and other combustibles in the area.

"Is this within your calculations?" The Yaka being quickly shrugged tongues of flames caused by the droid attack while clearly expressing contempt to its latest action.

The droid, built to withstand the harshest environment imaginable however ignored his malice and the burning trash on its feet, "Nothing mathematically impossible, Sir. We have found the said object."

"Intriguing way of doing things, Droid. Remind me to check your memory cycles later." The Yaka then grabbed a large corroded plate of quadanium amidst fiery smokes that are filling the already heavy and polluted air, setting off a small trash avalanche to the side of their position.

The droid followed suit, by removing increasingly larger debris from what seems like a solid monument buried underneath tonnes of wastes, "It will be in our pleasure, Sir. We're built to serve."

Their action is then followed by a small formation of Vulpterian flash storm due to thermal updraft caused by the earlier fire. Unlike other planets in the Galaxy, even the rain of Vulpter is incredibly harsh to majority of beings, readily corroding anything that is not sufficiently protected from its vicious nature. One by one, thick and puke coloured condensates start to fall from the skies above them, extinguishing the fire and dissolving lesser trashes.

This in turn triggered yet another trash landslide, finally revealing a tip of the said monument detected by Mackjo's companion in its rustic glory, amongst Galaxy-wide selection of trashes in the background that originated from Deep Core and out to Outer Rim. The Yaka then carefully brushes a small plate of the monument as revealed by the corrosive rain while being watched by his companion droid.

"Verification complete. It's indeed the hyperspace conveyor we're been searching for. Who built you, droid?" Mackjo slightly glances toward the droid while keeping his composite radiation sensor on his left eye trained on worn-out arubesh on the plate.

As the droid shifted its two tonnes of metallic weight closer to the Yaka, an Arakydian starship then appeared over their position, illuminating the area with thin cones of light, "Give it a guess, Sir. Who else could be making Us to what we are?"

"I think I can analyze that. You're built by one of the subsidiaries right? That verified mathematicst Givin. Your style is paternally similar, no further logic could be extrapolated." The Yaka proceed to brush leftover trash that cluttered the monument plate while noting numerous dropships detaching from the Arakdyian starship high in the atmosphere.

The droid continue to respond to the Yaka while delivering relevant information to the recently deployed Combine reclamation teams, "That is correct, Sir. We hold high regards of your high order logic capability."

Present Time...
Arakyd-Geonosian Industrial Combine Delegation
Polis Massa System

Beyond the wash of stellar radiation emanating from the central loci of Polis Massa lies a single curved shadow and additional ghastly apparations from the very edge of the system. The shadow then finally emerges from the stellar void of space, shedding its outerclad formless form into a physical thought as defined by the Great Lava Forges of Mechis III. This form then transfigured into a distinctive shape seen nowhere else in the Galaxy apart from an eventuality in the Tython System. Streaks of Geonosian, Givin and Yaka influences adorned the shape, being no other than an Arakydian Great Maker, summoned by the highest command of the Combine for the discretion of their latest customer, the New Terminus Conglomerate.

Unlike its brethren that was sent to Tython System, the Great Maker that have graced its presence in Polis Massa is a harmony of Givin mathematical wonder, quasi-flexibilities of Geonosians and all-encompassing robustness of Yaka. Its seven massive clustered thrusters then glowed in whitish-brown ferocity, propelling the three kilometer space object to a designated point while the Half Guard attendees of the Great Maker start to gradually part their trajectories from itself. While the Great Maker continues to accelerate, the aforementioned Arakydian starships finally initiated a burst of subspace communications to nearby Conglomerate space assets, announcing their presence and intention as instructed by the Combine.

Polis Station
Polis Massa System

The station was a patch work different generations, its hull varying shades of grey denoting the new newer and older sections. The Station had been floating in its orbit for almost a hundred years and ever the years had been added to until it became a large city in its own right floating in space taking its energy from the sun and the bounty full resources of the system. All around it Hydropondics sections as large as several anti grav soccer fields combined sucked up the suns rays and illuminated a radiant green that seemed to tinge the hull of the space station around it in the same colour. Its official name of Polis station named after the system in which it inhabited but many of the traders and workers that passed through the system called it the Greenway because of the greenish tint its hull took on.

It wasn't the only station in the system, ever since the Conglomerate had taken control of the system it had built many stations around and in the systems plentiful asteroid belts and on the worlds that where still left intact. Many asteroids houses docking stations for military ships and housed hundreds of snub fighters, it its own right it was a fortress system as well as a resource cash cow for the foundries of Mustafar and the factories of Terminus.

Right now how ever it was the only Station that mattered For it housed the combined Conglomerate and Combine delegations that had chosen the system to show off a new potentially revolutionary industrial equipment. The meeting room sat in the newest part of the station the walls gleamed white and navy blue in the colours of the Conglomerate a panoramic window looked out into the system and the closest patch of asteroids illuminated by the station and the star off in the distance. In the centre sat a table with enough chairs for each delegation to sit and watch the proceedings from the various screens arrayed around the rooms.

Councilman Draxis Lo sat at the table sipping a Corellian Brandy he was CEO of Lo Steller Mining a major operator in the Polis Massa System. Next to him sat Lando Calrissian a broad smile on his face as his personal droid floated next to him emitting calming tones as it changed colour, he had recently acquired several droid manufacturing facilities on Mustafar and had expressed a keen interest in this new toy of the Combine. The Final delegate of Conglomerate was Garran To'Nar the founder of Synth Tech Industries the largest Conglomerate of businesses within the Conglomerate itself. His businesses employed over 12% of the Conglomerate population at any given time. The three represented a good portion of Terminus business influence.

On the opposite side of the table sat the Combine delegation.

Two Years Ago...
Karalek Hive, Secret Meeting Room #3
Geonosis

A green hologram flickers in life in front of Poggle the Lesser, “Eih'ehrup-pok-pyb-pirib-pyub-peubp-pirub-piuk-phorerebp|Pihp'phob-pirib-pobp-pyub-pobp-pyub-porerob-pyb-pok|pip-popb-pirub-pok|whi'hilut-pidut-puyb|chuk-tulu'whi-peubp-piebp|pyub-popb|whi'hilut-popb-popb-pyub” 1

“Ah'k? Ko'vis'k brr'klk ke'et vah horr! oo' ko bel'bik?" 2 While being attended by two of his elite guards, the Geonosian proceed to extract several holodata units from his table.

Poggle then decides to give one of such units to Kelash Vyarl while keeping his auditory organs tuned to the green hologram, “Ii'u'ep-pok-pyub-porererbp|Pihp'phob-pirib-pobp-pyub-pobp-pyub-porerob-pyb-pok|Peubp-Pyup|tulu'whi|pip-peubp-pirib-pok-whu'hilit-pyub|whu'hilit-popb-pyb-porerob|popb-chuk|peubp-pyub-pok-piepb-porerepb” 3

“Ku'horr! oot' horr! irsh va'klk. Oh Verruki' bebesee' mah gehklk horr! kolltor' horr!, ko kweep' aukauk kee ah' kee horr! ko' kos kee em ek vah, moke veet.” 4 He turned his body to the hologram again, clearly clicking his mandibles in rapid succession.

The hologram then whisked into nothingness as the Geonosian turned his face to the Givin again, “Roger roger. Popb-pirib-pip-pok-pirib-pyub|whu'hilit-popb-pirub-chuk-peubp-pirib-piepb-pok-pip-porererbp|Pihp'phob-pirib-pobp-pyub-pobp-pyub-porerob-pyb-pok|poyab-peubp-piebp-piebp|whi'hilut-pok|pyub-pok-pirub-pyub|pyub-popb|pip-pok-pyub-peubp-pepb-pirub-tulu'whi-pyub-pok-pip|piebp-popb-whu'hilit-tulu'whi-pyub-peupb-popb-pirub.” 5

“Is it done, Sir Poggle?” The Givin quickly quipped his question as soon as Poggle turns his attention to him.

Poggle simply shrugged his question with several sounds of clicks and horns, “Vis horr! hur'tok ke'et. Ke'et kalk' toot horr! jah's ma'horr! ke'elk che'r” 6

“What? We're doubly precise on its success. There shouldn't be any problems in its activation, I myself have checked it thrice on probability of success.” This in effect sent Kelash Vyral into sense of disbelief of what he just heard although it's hardly noticeable superficially due to Givin unique morphology.

A cunning Geonosian, Poggle could anticipate that Kelash Vyral isn't particularly happy with his statement but that's how it's be thus the Geonosian decides to blurt the direct truth, “Kee' horr! duche' kalk' horr! ek burr'nt tewizil horr! ke'et va'klk. Oh' begvi'horr! vis melek'kok ek kee horr! vah woe vehk' bluk bluk wahzee'horr!” 7

“Only a few thousand cycles off. We will recalculate the odds then, Sir Poggle. Until π is deducted then.” The Givin then takes a calculated shudder noting he's carefully watched by Poggle and two of his elite guards.

The Geonosian then dismissed his guards as he prepares to leave the conference room, “Hek' ke'et ke'elk, kee' beh horr! kalk' jah's horr! veh'k va'klk” 8

“Give us more S-boosters then.” The Givin subsequently places the holodata unit to the side while watching Poggle standing on the edge of the room.

Poggle simply shrugged in several clicks and horns before leaving the Givin to his own devices, “Horr! horr! ve'kh. Beh horr! huk'huk guhorr! veh'k” 9

1-Reporting. Prototype done, but fail to boot

2-Yes. Prototype is direct copy of item.

3-Orders confirmed. Prototype will be sent to designated location.
4-What? Are you sure it is the correct one?

5-Bring all of the data to here. The Conclave mustn't know our secret design, if they find out what we are planning to build, we're doomed.

6-You heard it. It have too many problems right now.

7-We might have to physically examine it here. The thing you present to us is a very old item.

8-Get it right, we don't have many time here.

9-Okay. Don't fail this time.

Current Time...
Mechis III
Mechis System

“Report. Supply fluctuations have caused production delay by twenty percent, production rate down to thirty percent from optimal and resource acquisition for Project #10901 is significantly delayed by several arc months.” A flickering reddish hologram appeared in front of Colico Nyrel, one of few Givin overseers responsible on ensuring smooth operations of Great Lava Forges of Mechis III.

The male Givin then flicks his wrist, causing a nearby transparent ultrachrome window to reveal the lava flows of Mechis III all in their glories, “What? What about domestic orders? And please recalculate the input for the Project, we need to get those new simu-boosters ready as fast as possible!”

“Domestic orders have taken big hit from market uncertainties. Awaiting further instructions.” The Givin subsequently walks toward the deflector-shielded composite window, observing one of the Combine's automated mining systems on the lava planet at work.

He flinches his wrist again, causing the window to display a magnified vision in his viewing vector which illustrates multiple red hot strings that vertically extend from the fast lava flow below into the aforementioned mining systems. “Resmelt canceled orders and redistribute the materials into non-domestic orders. Put Project #10901 as top priority.”

“Roger roger.” He then places his view on the fleeting hologram while the window fades into opaque black. Beyond him lies several newly conjured hologram windows invoked by his augmented brain.

A few arcsecond from the Givin repulsor-lift offices lies greater expanse of Arakydian machineries, some old and some newer in design. The incorporation of Geonosian Industries enabled Arakyd Industries to radically improve current fabrication processes as Geonosian miniaturized technologies made it plausible to nanoscopically arrange and refine raw resources into products onto where it's needed.

Subsequently, conventional droid-based lava miners are almost entirely replaced by newer integrated mining and refinement platforms made with Geonosian expertise. These deflector-shielded, mobile facilities directly draw Mechis III lava flows straight into their infernal mechanized bellies, utilizing hundreds and thousands of micro tractor and repulsor units as testament of Combine's expanded mass industrial capabilities.

The fabrication units were almost entirely replaced too; various hovering multiple large pieces, some small are being harmoniously assembled and delivered three dimensionally with minimum physical contacts save each other across various workstations via usage of multiple micro tractor, repulsor and gravity beams in contrast of monolithic two dimensional fabrication lines common in the Galaxy at large.

While the changes have been rapidly administered in response of newly expanding economic crisis on a galactic scale, the news still bore numerous frustrations on the Mechis III overseers as demonstrated by Colico Nyrel where orders need to be immediately canceled or shuffled and consignments being withhold as the society at large tapers their demands for droids being produced en masse by the planet.

Beyond the three important representative of the Conglomerate would be the Combine's delegation of appropriate rank for current discussion at hand. Just like the Conglomerate entourage, the Combine's delegation would be a similar mirror minus personal droid and the apparent detail of Combine's capitalism at its finest.

Sitting on the center would be Ludwig Jerringer, an Arkanian blazed with brown hairs and hazel eyes unlike ordinary Arkanians. “Good day gentle beings. As per holodata transferred to your appropriate data matrices, I'm Ludwig Jerringer, the head of the Combine's Advanced Industrial Projects Department.”

“Next is, Micheal Mark Five, representing the Combine's Industrial Technology Department.” The professionally dressed man then address his left partner, being a refined Yaka person.

He then finishes his opening speech by introducing a third member of the Combine's delegation, being a Givin similarly dressed as the Arkanian. “And lastly, Sadar Vul, representing the Combine's Accountancy and Product Commercialization Department. I believe we have a lucrative business to talk with, gentle beings.”

Draxis leant forward steepling is fingers together looking at the combine delegation a warm smile on his face. "Welcome all of you, may i first make a toast to combine and the Conglomerate may we both profit from our Mutual endeavours." Draxis Lo was the only none human in the Conglomerate Delegate although humanoid his elongated forehead gave him away as a Cerean youthful and extremely keen eyed he was dressed in the finest garments credits could buy.

"Please feel free to help yourself to refreshments and if there isn't anything suiting your palets feel free to let one of the servent droids know, we currently have the finest chefs in the Conglomerate on hand to cook up anything you might desire. Viceroy Nute Gunray of the Trade Federation may be joining us later but at this moment he has been indisposed for the time being."

They all raised their glasses and then took a quick drink of some of the finest alcohol available in the galaxy. No expense was spared in what could be the most important deal done by the Conglomerate so far.

The Room went quite for a moment as the lights began to dim and the screens flickered on showing the fleet of combine ships floating in the void of space the backdrop of stars doing nothing to take away how awe inspiring their new toy was. Garran To'Nar leant forward this time looking at each of the Combine Delegates in turn. "I believe everything is set for your demonstration all information has been passed to your operators and if you turn your attention to the third screen you will see a two dimensional representation of the inner ring system the area marked in red will be the test area it is filled with various sized asteroids, but first I would like to hear more on how the technology works if only just a quick overview of what goes on inside that marvellous creation of yours."
