Ninety-six miles off the coast of The Kingdom of Rostrog
The Royal Navy was steaming back towards the Fatherland, forced out of one war and dragged by the hair into another one. The King had sent orders that the army and navy should return home as fast as possible and that is precisely what Admiral Richard Gent was doing. He read the comminique the Artitian Empire had sent the King and was forwarded to him and the Field Commander of the ground forces who sadly lost his life during the retreat out of the U.S.S.M. His vehicle to an artillery shell flipped the cab and through the Field Commander out of it his body nothing but a mangled heap. The Artitians knew that the Rostrogians would have to take time to transport their troops back home and decided to act upon it. Admiral Gent looked out from the bridge of the HRMS Fensworth, and muttered to himself but a sailor heard him and mistook it for an order.
"Sorry sir what was that?" The sailor asked as he stood to attention thinking the Admiral was addressing him.
"I was just saying that Artite loves to fight us. I feel though that this time they will crush us, we are just not prepared in the sense that we have left our land defenseless." Admiral Gent nodded at the young sailor. Then made his way to his room where he would try and catch some sleep. Hopefully it will be peaceful the rest of the trip home.
Royal Palace, Fensworth
King Godric was shouting and throwing pottery at his staff, as they tried to ask him to seek political means of ending this war instead of waging war once more and calling up the Militias to defend the homeland.
"Your majesty should know that calling up the ill-equipped militias may end in disaster in the sense that the Artitian troops may crash upon them like waves on sand. The inexperienced militias will dissolve once hit by the Artitian War Machine" one of the ministers said as he tried to reason with the king.
"Call up all Royal troops and have them ready for the defenses of this great kingdom at once!! Where is Admiral Gent?!" Godric was furious, he was prepared to wage a two front war but he did not know how effective it would be to fight in Moldovoska and keep the Artitians out of Rostrog.
"Last we heard from Admiral Gent your majesty was he was returning home. We have pin pointed his location to about one hundred miles off our coast and heading for Port Hamsteel".
"Good, i am going to need his navy to defend our shores, and call up all the militias it is imperative that we have every able bodied man serving this nation."
