Seperatist sentiment in Quebec was rising. Hundreds of protesters took to the streets every day, advocating for independance. But the government simply shut them down. Not even a referendum was issued. Riots became common, and rumors of the FLQ becoming active again were widespread. And those rumors were true.

A seperatist protest was underway, this one larger than any of them before. People burned the Canadian flag, flying the flags of Quebec and the FLQ. This was revolution. When a nearby police station thought the protest was getting out of hand, they deployed officers to break up the protest. When they arrived, they we're met by rocks and bottles being thrown at them. Armed with riot shields, the rocks didn't do much. But a grenade did. Nobody knew who threw it, but someone in the crowd, one of the protesters, had thrown a frag grenade at the police, killing 3 of them.

"Khmer wolf brigade" gets into rebel transports with the weapon containers and head to camps in the rural areas of quebec .

Meanwhile On the Thai Front line the red cambodian revolutionary army were pushing into the thai land seizing by now most east thailand while The guerrillas of the Communist Party of Thailand (CPT) took up arms and began supporting the khmer rouge army mainly in the north were they liberated most of north thailand.

The fleet moves towards the ship, the radio operator communicates with the ship and tells it that it is not welcome in this area, and due to being an Axis ship, it will be arrested and crew taken as POWs, the French fleet awaits a response.

French Guiana
Mass fortifications take place in French Guiana, the airforce makes daily patrols over guiana and surrounding area. Recruitment in the area is a success and 75,000 local troops are being trained with more arriving from mainland France in a week. 40 ships are docked in the surrounding water and three submarines patrolling the surrounding water.

Also the Quebec ships could do much because they were hastily captured in that port raid. That's my opinion anyway.

With the second Korean War in full swing, the MoD Scrambled when it came to deploying forces.

IC: the French ships suffer 19 deaths from the crew, one officer lost. The ships coordinate and start attacking the Quebec ships. The crew are instructed to inflict minimum casualties, they must try and save fellow francophones, they are also instructed to try to capture the ships alive.
