Alright guys so now that everyone is starting to spread out I'll just drop a few background details here for reference should you guys ever need them.

Guns: Lots of PDW's, SMG's, carbines, and some more...exotic ones as well. Those three are the easiest to find with the more expensive better maintained ones being bullpup(cuz i lieks teh bullpupz). There's also a large assortment of home made Chechnyan style weapons the flow into the city from the south.

A common SMG that floats around would be the RWF made KMG-09 which is essentially a bullpup UMP-45 seen here > https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater (long link is long)

If you can't see it well...bullpup UMP-45 pretty much explains it all.

Locals/neighborhoods/etc: Roanapur is not in the best of shape to say the least having been subjected to a intensive insurgency that had to be cleared out Fallujah style except civvies were still there. This was all about about a decade or two ago so while most of it has been fixed, it's still pretty apparent in the large slums in the southern part of the city with only a few scars and such apparent in the more well off areas.

The city is laid out/organized into districts with a particular population demographic tending to gather in a specific area do to income wage being affected by said demographic. Each one has a name, same already others yet to be made up, and i'll provide it here in the ooc upon request if need be.

North
Nobles/Politicians/and the ilk: Ritsy Neighborhoods with huge houses, well groomed land, and utter disregard for lessers
Colonist: upper middle class neighborhoods

Upper-middle-west (confusing I know)
Well off Immigrants and natives
Sorta nice apartments and the like

Lower-middle-west
Immigrants
bad time all around

Southern
The poor
If you go here without a gun, you're going to have a baaaaaad time

Of course there are other areas and such like the docks, the clubs and malls in the center of it all, factories and warehouses such. Also take note that the city is in a large U sort of shape around a huge bay with a equally large bridge spans it. This weekend I'll throw up some more details and such to help people out if they need it.

As always any questions feel free to TG me.

So basically local hardware is all of the Warsaw-Pact flavor? (Tastes strongly of vodka and over-pressure ammunition.)

I'd like to know in the event my people have to 'improvise' and acquire things on-site during an operation.

The natives will generally have Soviet equipment/ homemade guns and gear but colonist and such generally run with a mixed exotic assortment of everything and I mean everything. If it shoots chances are some one either has it or is selling it somewhere.

I apologize for my looong absence (due to vacation and that my other RP has taken priority and that this one takes a lot of time to write etc. etc.). Bla-bla-bla excuses. Anyway, I'd just like to know how heavily the coasts (beaches, coasts and such) are defended and watched, and how heavy security is at the harbours (I don't assume they go checking everyone who comes in?).

Also, do the minority "Nutks" live in the south? If it's alright, I'd like to "aid" them in any way I can :P

You'd have to ask Rhamos but seeing as they are second-class citizens according to him, it would be safe to assume that they are more in the southern regions of Roanapur.

Beaches are watched by patrols, UAV's, and the typical border guardish stuff due to the war going on.

No your ship will not be boarded.

And I have a short day tomorrow so I'll finally be able to get a decent none rushed post up.

Hey, I have a quick question for you all. What time would you say that all the posts are taking place? It's sort of a minor thing, but I would like to know what others think so I can make adjustments. For me, I figured that some of the action was taking place mid to early afternoon after the time at the club(or at the very least that's around the time that the Serdari sent the email to Bray), though some of the other posts I've noticed them taking place more toward dusk/evening.

I kind of assumed your thing (Azazel's senator-whacking) happened either day of or day after the Manikomo scene that involved most of the folks here. Then, Azazel's rep would be showing up at the various places, including Goto-gumi, the next day. When, during that next day, I'm not particular; I figure that if Azazel wants his money faster, he'd prolly send his reps out in the morning. The early bird guts the worm!

I've followed a more or less linear approach since my people left the nightclub. Per my calculations, it's around 3 or 4 AM. I can, however, amend that as needed. Not many arms dealers operate at that hour.

At any rate, I'm attempting to get my people armed and equipped before their mysterious meeting.

@Bray: Nah, its all good. You just had me a bit confused when you said that the meeting between Gardner and Dekker was going to take place on the next day. Seeing as it would still be night/early morning, it would be the next day for your guys in a way. Besides, I think my next post should get things a bit more cohesive in terms of time.

Excellent. We've just set the meet with the Vigil, and are en route to that location to conduct the meet-and-greet and see what shiny toys they have to offer. After that, it'll likely be back to the safehouse to begin planning the meet with your people and some needed sleep.

Good to hear. So I've had one of my organizations send representatives to ask to see if there is interest in an auction for a person that they just captured. Should I assume that you'll want in on it?

It's been a day since the last post. I hardly call that a dead RP. As for ideas, I gave you one in regards to a representative of Azazel's terrorist group visiting the Omarians to discuss the possibility of buying a woman. As for the Manikomo Scene, everyone has left. You can also focus on the guys that Gardner talked with at the Scene.

I have been similarly busy with school, children, weddings, and all the bullshit associated with being human.

I'll get a quality post up here shortly. Everything I've hammered out thus far has been shit.

Ah, my bad for the super late response to Serdaristan's post responding to mine. A couple things. What can be seen in the background of the picture? For example, what does the wall look like, bed or couch that she's sitting on, etc.
