The International Refugee Network is an organization supported by government bodies, supranational alliances and different organizations aimed at giving all refugees a safe place to restart their lives. We recognize the effect of uncontrolled illegal entry of refugees to sovereign countries, therefore the International Refugee Network have set up a system where refugees can seek asylum to any participating countries legally, and to serve as a bridge between countries that are willing to accept refugees to those who have nowhere to go.
History
The concept of an International Refugee Network was first discussed at the National Assembly in Federation of Eminral Republic, as a way to expand Eminral's humanitarian programs with the participation of other countries. The network was given support by the Eminrallian Government, and the Axis Alliance later on after President Howard put forth the idea during the 2nd Axis Alliance Summit at Abbas Tower, Huda. IRN largely receives funding from different government entities, at national and local level, humanitarian organizations, supranational organizations and different Alliances.
IRN Explained:
At IRN, we recognize the economic burden of uncontrolled, illegal entry of refugees to sovereign states. At the same time, we recognize that deporting refugees in an instant is not morally correct either. The concept of IRN relies on participation and cooperation of participating organizations and nations. The following is a clear explanation of how IRN works:
1. Any refugees or asylum seekers found by the military of any participating country shall be rescued and given immediate medical help and basic human necessities like food and water. They will be held or taken into custody by the local authorities to a local police station or immigration/refugee center. Under any circumstances, asylum seekers may not be detained to a jail or prison unless the local authorities provide a reasonable cause to do so, such as if the individual in question poses danger to national security or public safety.*
2. The local authorities are to contact an IRN District Office. The IRN District Office will facilitate the transfer of the refugee(s) from the location they are in to an IRN facility or IRN- approved facility. Refugee(s) are guaranteed minimum of 2-month stay to an IRN or IRN approved facility, until their documents are completely processed.
3. Within this time frame, they will be briefed by the IRN staff about different refugee programs they are eligible to apply. They will be informed about the background of the country, the requirements they need to be approved into that country's refugee program, and the requirements they need to apply for permanent residency/citizenship. Once they have chosen their preferred country of destination/refugee program, they will attend second rounds of seminar, where they will get to know more about the culture, how to integrate, and get started with the application process.
4. All nations who have agreed to let in refugees shall be in charge with the review of their documents and the approval/denial of the application. IRN have no control over the outcome of the application of refugees. Any refugees who have been denied access to their country of destination may try to apply for another, or may apply for the Federation of Eminral Republic-Refugee Sanctuary Program.
* If the local authorities have put the refugee in question into detention/arrest, they must submit a report to an IRN District Office about the reason for detention, supported with evidences. The IRN Fraud Prevention Office shall determine further steps about the case.
