Rise of the Eternals
The Beginning
Kronus was quick to take on a senior leadership role between the three, and with his wits he convinced the other two to join him on a venture of using their inherited powers for their own interests. So, away from the presence of the celestial beings, the three of them brought with them the crucial elements of life - Earth, Water, Fire and Air - from all four corners of the cosmos, and created Terra - home of their future children, mankind. At first, they were full of glee and excitement for their achievement, and were privy to be apart of every aspect of mankind's life. They were adored by their people and they adored them. Kronus and Theia, in the boon of this excitement, sired their son Prometheus. All was well until - after a confrontation between two forming tribes of man - the original physical beings began to realise the extent of their powers and what it could bring them.
Coming to the conclusion that every King needed a palace, Kronus created Avaris - the realm of heaven. Beyond anything anyone could ever dream of, it was a place of pure splendour and riches. Fit for an Emperor, let alone a King. From above, the physical beings - who now recognised themselves as "gods" - looked down upon Terra and demanded tribute from mankind in return for it's protection. Mankind accepted the charges and began to make tributes, be it from their harvest or from their purse. The celestial beings tried to intervene upon their discovery of Terra, but it was too late. Overpowering them, Kronus and his brother, along with Prometheus, trapped the celestial beings in the heart of Avaris - from that point on known as the Celestial Stone. Harnessing their forbearer's powers, the self-proclaimed Gods of Avaris took on new forms: Iapetus became the God of War, relishing combat but stomping out conflict wherever he found it. Prometheus became the God of Order, enjoying mankind's fear of him but disallowing any chaos to ensue. Theia became the Goddess of Beauty, adoring the admiration and worship she received but smiting any woman who so much as challenged her position. Kronus became the Creator, the omnipresent overlord of all things. It was from this point that all things fell apart.

One of these 'Angels' was known as Silvier. Her previous life unknown, even to the Creator, all he knew was that she was divine - even more beautiful than Theia. In a drunken lust, he demanded her. In an almost shocking act of defiance, she refused. Enraged, Kronus took her anyway. Once he was done with her, he cast her out of Avaris, thinking her purpose to be served and that her existence was no longer required. She fell to Terra in a ball of flame, and yet she survived. How she did so was - and still is - unknown. All that is for certain is that it was a blessing. Found by a Shepard and his family, they took the fallen angel and hid her away in their stable, away from the gaze of the gods who were too fixated on the offerings they received to notice. Under their protection, the angel Silvier was found to be pregnant. What was not discovered until the birth, however, was that she'd sired ten sons:
- Tellus, the First Son – Aspect of the Earth
- Horus, the Second Son – Aspect of the Sky
- Sebek, the Third Son – Aspect of the Oceans
- Belenus, the Fourth Son – Aspect of Fire
- Woden, the Fifth Son – Aspect of Ice
- Vertimus, the Sixth Son – Aspect of the Seasons
- Vulcan, the Seventh Son – Aspect of Creation
- Chronos, the Eighth Son – Aspect of Time
- Hyperion, the Ninth Son – Aspect of the Night
- Helios, the Tenth Son – Aspect of the Day
What quickly became clear was that these sons had, in some way, inherited the powers of their father. They had become Aspects of the celestial beings, and it was in that moment that Silvier decided that she would remove the Gods of Avaris and restore peace and order to both the physical and divine worlds. Raising her children to the sound of her tone, and hers alone, the fallen angel learned how to tame her sons powers - for they also had inherited their fathers bad traits as well as his good ones. At the same time, Silvier began to befriend mankind, secretly meeting with them and winning their trust. After years of secrecy and preparation, her sons eventually came of age - and with their blood created their own personal Legions - and Silvier won the trust of mankind. The War for Avaris was ready to begin.

The old gods were tried for their crimes, and found guilty. Still bound in their chains, they were all cast into the newly created pit of Tartarus - the realm of hell. There they were doomed to suffer an eternity of pain for all the crimes they committed. In order to ensure that they could not terrorise the realm of the physical or the celestial ever again, the Grand Mother drew the power of Order from the Celestial Stone, and bended it's will in order to create a spawn of it's twin - Chaos. Casting it out, Chaos filled the void between Avaris and Tartarus, as well as keeping the two realms separate from Terra. It was hoped that, bound in their chains and locked behind the walls of Tartarus, the old gods would be unable to bend Chaos to their own will. It seemed as if they never would be able to.
Yet, as the story has already taught us, this is never guaranteed...
Okay so, the main deal is this OOC Thread will allow us to establish the origin stories of our character(s)/heroes and openly discuss them. I'll be sure to make an index of all the origin story posts here in the first post when they start to build up.
So without further delay, please introduce your heroes, fellow Sondrians!
