The Soviet Union of Sinovet has long been at odds with the Absolute Autocracy of Clorinth. Three great Wars have been fought between the two nations in their youth. These were the Sino-Clorinthian Wars. After 144 years of peace, there has been a shift in the balance of power in Clorinth. A Dark Allicorn known only as Empress Hetakep has ousted First Citizen Hurricane Streak, who promptly disappeared without a trace. Hetakep uses the Clorinthian resentment of Sinovet to grow more influential, until she has complete control of the nation, even more than Hurricane could ever achieve. Hetakep's plans roll on, and Clorinth gears up for another war with Sinovet.

But this time, things are different. While Clorinth licked it's wounds in solitude, Sinovet was become increasingly connected with it's neighbors. Sinovet has made a few enemies and a few friends. This time around, there will almost certainly be more than Sinovet and Clorinth involved.

I (the player, not the nation) control both Sinovet and Clorinth, so I have control over what happens. Your participation will directly influence the war. For example, if you deploy troops on Clorinth's side, I will have Sinovet loose ground as a result. Be warned, this is an all out war between to masters of the art. If you deploy troops, you will suffer casualties. Neither party is going to play fair, and neither party is going to let themselves get beaten.

Please note that I like to keep a fairly realistic battlefield going on. You can use whatever tactics you want, whatever magic, but don't pull any bullsh*t.

The Pegasus Enclave is in!

The Enclave is joining in the conflict in order to keep international peace and covertly field test the new Type 97 HEAVY-ASSAULT Power Armor.
The Enclave plans to deploy Land and Air troops as well as having the Medical Corps provide aid to the civilian victims of the conflict. The exact numbers (initial wave) are as follows,
10,000 Enclave Infantry Corps. Troops
3,000 Enclave Air Service Fighters (2000 Fighters, 1000 Bombers)
1,000 Enclave Medical Service Officers
400 Hellbolt Operators ( Covertly Field-Testing new Power Armor, presence is kept a secret)

Land Troops will be outfitted in Type 95 LAND-ASSAULT Power Armor
Airponies will be outfitted in Type 95 AIR-FIGHTER, and Type 94 AIR-BOMBER Power Armor
Medical Officers are outfitted in Type 90 MEDIC Combat Barding
Hellbolt Operators will be a mix. 100 in the Type 97 HEAVY-ASSAULT, and 300 in Type 96 MULTI-PLAT. Power Armor

Whose side are you on?
There are Night Pegasi in Clorinth, and Sinov Pegasi in Sinovet. You cannot make your alignment along racial lines.

Sorry, had forgotten that bit. The Enclave will be supporting Sinoviet. The Enclave is sorta... immoral in some instances. Like exploiting this war for the sake of secretly field testing a new line of Power Armor.

Motivation for Involvement: longstanding trade and research partners. Without such an ally, research would slow down and trade in the region would grind to a halt

Will you aid your side?: Will provide military and economic aid for Clorinth
if so, how so? (Providing financial support, supplying weapons, etc.): military and economic aid

Will you commit forces?: yes
If so, how many troops will you deploy? two divisions of 5,000 regular soldiers/ standard support and 5,000 grenadier guardsmen. Will also commit several flights totaling one hundred aircraft of all types to the area.

First of all a question: I might be a member of the Pony Lands, but my population are humans. Is this okay?

Motivation for Involvement: The Sultanate is interested in joining this war, because we hope to win a trading partner as well as to conquer new lands and ressources. We do hope to have a share of the spoils of war and not simply the bleeding and suffer.
Another motivation is to field-test the new equipment.

if so, how so?: Financial Support, supplying weapons and military aid, as well as humanitarian aid for refugees.

ehhh....I don't know whether or not to engage in this conflict, since i'm a resident of the NLR, not pony lands...

Sinovet and Clorinth are off the map of the Pony Lands, essentially at the edge. You would be excused from wrongdoing if you decide to partake directly. Besides, you don't need to be a neighbor in order to airlift aid or some such thing.

Motivation for Involvement: Emeralda generally prefers to stand aloof from foreign affairs wherever possible, content to be largely self-sufficient and generally unwilling to be dragged into the affairs of other nations unless they directly threaten its own interests. However, it's primary foreign supporter Altaris and by extension the rest of the Sanian Confederacy are convinced that the sudden rise of a militarily belligerent Clorinth with aggressive interests in Sinovet will have a destabilizing effect on the region as a whole, especially if foreign powers with hostile intent become involved.

Will you aid your side?: Yes.
If so, how so? (Providing financial support, supplying weapons, etc.): With a distributed network of suppliers and government sponsored corporations throughout Sania able to procure almost any form and amount of supplies at any time; by using an extensive system of government vouchers, hard coin, and plain old favors. This logistical support has been incredibly important to building upon the Confederacy's comprehensive influence on mainland Sania, and as the disruption of communications and travel makes gathering resources risky at the best of times during warfare. The Sanian Confederacy is prepared to offer these services in procuring whatever Sinovet may require in short for adequate post-war compensation.

Will you commit forces?: Yes.
If so, how many troops will you deploy? Members of the Special Tactics and Reconnaissance Service (S.T.A.R.S.) Third Regiment (The Watchers) are currently on a training exercise in Emeralda and can be mobilized within a day's time to Sinovet in covert support of the Union and to reconnoiter enemy force composition in preparation for a marine force recon response from the Shield Isles (total 360 members). The 7th Confederate Marine Corps Division are a subordinate organization of the Sanian Confederate Armed Forces based in the Shield Isles and composed of a balanced force of combat, service and support elements allowing for aerial assault and sustained ground operations with the primary focus of seeking to expand the range of battle space capabilities available to the local theater commander; Confederate Marines operate through economy of force, concentration of mass, and battle space maneuvering to provide combat capabilities not offered by conventional Confederate Armed Forces (approximate total effective fighting strength lies around 20,000 marines, not counting vehicles, ships, and other support units).

Why is your nation getting involved? What is your motivation for engaging in this war?
How will you contribute in the war? Are you going too provide aid, or deploy forces, or both, or none?
Whose side are you on? Clorinth or Sinovet?

Hatay would like to supply Clorinth, Hatay never has and never will support Communism. 10,000 M16s are being airlifted to Clornth's bases as with 1,000 shells. In the imperial palace next to the parliament building Mohamed VII signed a few papers stating Hatay's involvement the papers stated that Hatay in theory will remain neutral but will supply Clorinth.

After reviewing your commitments, I noticed you all have forces around 20,000 or under. This is good if you want to play a supporting role in the war, which I recommend. If you wish to engage more completely in warfare, you should commit more forces, or prepare second and third waves. I also suggest you review the casualty numbers of the Great War (WWI).

I actually have numbers for a second wave right now if you'd like me to post it, though it won't be deployed until the war really gets heated.

Hatay is also sending $10,000,000 to fund their ally Clorinth. Also 3,000 more M16s have been airlifted to my ally. Also (sorry about all the also) grain is being airlifted. The Sultan bomber soared over the front the pilot could see Clorinthian positions. He pressed a button and 5 boxes fell, all attached to parachutes. The boxes contained ammunition for Hatay dropped M16s.
