I can dig it.. but we would have to prevent people from fighting in orbit or in system over it.. possibly by treaty of some sort, I'm sure we can make good on it. GESO and non GESO players alike should join.

I do believe that rp linked could provide a nice political and international affair/incident for the GESO to handle, a problematic situation. Lord Tnyr where would you like this to go?

I mean I can see some other players possibly joining in a pact with your nation or some such if peace doesn't prevail..-(And a group of allied powers may have to face off with you and your partners at a later date ). But these are just general ideas. Right now my ship is there just to find out wtf is going on. My question is do you have an over all plan or any intent on an arc for this or should we just roll with the flow?

Right now it is pretty fluid I am welcome to a variety of responses as you see in the thread already. Everyone is keeping it small and not doing anything irresponsible so that's the only thing I'd want people to keep doing. Also something small-team oriented is occuring on the moon other than the one I am building my capital on for anyone interested in that sort of RPing.

Indeed, we're still alive though.. Its just been slow.. I think its due to the holidays.

That said, Im curious; I think its time we all look at the charter and refine it a bit, perhaps update it, modify it a bit.. Some folks wanted this type of thing a bit ago; so I'm thinking if anyone has any ideas it'd be a good time to get the ball rolling on that eh?.

I have an idea to flesh out a few judicial amendments. Of course this idea and others would have to be worked out icly.. But.. Basically it would be something like the Hague.. And help with the extradition of people in other nations. Ie based on circumstances and such.. It would be there mainly to resolve trade disputes and extradition disputes n such.

I think GESO is fine as it is, the way I see it. However, I do have some concerns to raise after thinking of what we should look out for or certain things will get us into bad karma for our IC RPs.

As for the question, assuming the scenario in the IC, what if one of our GESO members decided to attack RL Earth for silly reasons? And especially in its MT stage and in another universe?

P.S. Not your Earth, UTA, mind you. I'm talkin' about another Earth.

I should say what's GESO's policies in regards to civilizations - human or alien alike who are not into FT stage yet, levels varied from medieval to modern?

As long as that policy doesn't have anything about not interfering. The United Dominion and other ixee states and groups fairly regularly research primitive civilizations and gauge whether or not to uplift them. Sometimes they don't uplift as such but guide their progress. This isn't something they would be willing to suddenly stop, especially because stopping current projects could be catastrophic for the subject civilization/species.
