A rebuilt Anglynova preparing for parliamentary elections

WESTFORDE: The Transitionary Government of Anglynova has announced the approval of King Umberto III for the election of a national parliament. The move comes after months of military occupation and reconstruction following the devastating Anglynovan Liberation War, which left over 1.5 million people dead and most of Anglynova's infrastructure decimated.

The Charter of the Dominion of Anglynova defines the national legislature as a bicameral body, consisting of a Royal Senate and a Chamber of Deputies. Both shall be elected proportionally.

The centre-left Democratic Party (Partito Democratico) and the centre-right People of the Kingdom (Popolo del Regno) will be competing for 500 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 100 seats in the Royal Senate.

The Anglynovan Liberation War, waged between the ultra-right Ohankaist regime that took power through a military coup in mid-November and the Anti-Communism Alliance, lasted just over a month. The Ohankaist regime led by Dominic Hewitt killed several hundred thousand perceived enemies of the state, including foreigners, religious persons, and ideologically unclean individuals. The brutal slash-and-burn campaign carried out by the Ohankaists to prevent the better equipped Anti-Communism Alliance from capturing any resources caused the destruction of the majority of the country's infrastructure.

By the end of the war, most Ohankaists had committed suicide, fled the country, or had gone into hiding. The remaining Anglynovans, numbering just five-hundred thousand, began to pick up the shattered pieces of the homeland.

Following the end of the transitionary government of the Anti-Communism Alliance, Anglynova appealed to the United Kingdom of Nuova Zelanda to help rebuild the country. Anglynova was accepted into the United Kingdom of Nuova Zelanda as a dominion on March 1st, 2013. It has operated under a transitionary, military government.

Jonah Autenberry, Anglynova's representative to the Commonwealth of Independent Nations, spoke at a press conference in Westforde praising the call for elections.

"Anglynova has been brutally destroyed in the past year, but it has not been defeated. In the face of genocide and death, the spirit of humanity shone through to conquer the legacy Dominic Hewitt meant to leave. These elections are the final nail in the coffin of Ohankaism in Anglynova."

Elections will be held 8 August 2013.

MEETING OF CROWNS

On this day of August 8th the Queen of Sechyvasia, Maria Artasia I, and Emperor Brandyn von Valeria met in the Imperial Palace in Imperia. The Meeting is the result of continued unrest in the Socialist Democracy and the possibility of it spilling over into the Queendom. However these fears were ended when the Socialist Democrats lifted the ban on the Fascist and Communist parties, with ceasfires in effect.

Yet new fears arose of a Third Sechyvasian-Imperial War when Socialist Democratic Artillery landed on the Royalist side of the border. Earning intense backlash from Royal officials and outrage by Royalist Citizens. Protests against this have already begun in the major cities of Winterfel and Kilernas in the Royalist North.

While in the Empire dissent has risen over the prospect of Socialist Democratic aggression.

So far all that has been released to the press is that the Empire and Royalist Sechyvasian Monarchy have reaffirmed their pledges for help to each other in times of war.

Goodmorning, we come live to you today to report that Lemortec Island Colony has been placed under strict military lock down due to the recent uprising by the FREEDOM FIRST party.

Last night, the party leader Androe Ferattini rallied his followers to what turned out to be a full rebellion against Nuova Zelanda and the Island government of Lemortec. Fierce fighting has broken out between the Lemortec Colonial Force a fighting force of just 500 men, and the Freedom first rebel army composed of more than 1000 men and it is reported that more than 5000 civilians and members of the LCF and FFA are dead due to violent clashes.

The High commissioner to the island the honourable Cesare Gerotti, was quick to contact the Nuova Zelandian Ministry of Overseas territories to ask for immediate military intervention by Nuova Zelandian defence forces. The Prime Minister of Nuova Zelanda shortly after lobbied the government together with the Minister of overseas territories, to have approval by the house for a contingent of more than 3000 men from the army, navy and air force to be sent to lemortec immediately.

In a conference shortly afterwards the Prime Minister was quoted as saying, "We will not have a militant party in one of our Crown Colonies to have the freedom of subduing our jurisdiction and that of the government of Lemortec. We will put an end to this, even if it means by deadly force. The government has devised a plan for the crushing of this horrendous rebellion. The plan is to put the whole island colony under direct military lockdown by sea air and land and to attack the rebellion immediately. No one will be allowed to enter or leave the island, however the civilians in Lemortec will be evacuated as soon as possible by sea, and will be sent to Nuova Zelanda for refuge."

Whilst on the Island, current clashes are taking place all over major cities with more Freedom First supporters taking up arms against Nuova Zelanda. The LCF is reportedly showing no progress in crushing this rebellion with offensives often showing no improvement but only further loss in lives. Many civilians have been caught in the fighting between the LCF and FFA, and emergency services like Hospitals and Ambulances are finding it too difficult to treat the severely wounded that show up every minute. This is truly a dark time in Nuova Zelandian colonial history.

BREAKING : PdR WINS MAJORITY IN CHAMBER, SENATE

WESTFORDE: The transitionary election commission has announced that the centre-right People of the Kingdom have won a majority of seats in the Chamber of Deputies and the Royal Senate. The PdR won three-hundred of five-hundred seats in the Chamber of Deputies, while it won 60 in the Royal Senate.

Gualtiero Aleppo, founder of the People of the Kingdom, has been chosen by his party to be the first Prime Minister of the Dominion of Anglynova. Mr. Aleppo has formed a government and has recommended a Governor-General to King Umberto III to serve as His Majesty's representation in Anglynova.

This parliamentary elections marks the first peaceful transition of power in Anglynova since before the Ohankaist Coup, which left over a million people dead.

Mr. Aleppo, while speaking to reporters, said the biggest issues facing Anglynova remained reconstruction and reconciliation. Since the entry of Anglynova into the United Kingdom of Nuova Zelanda, billions of dollars have been pumped into the Anglynovan economy to stimulate economic growth.

"The Kingdom has invested time and energy to see us prosper. It's time for us Anglynovans to show that we will return on that investment." said Aleppo at the press conference.

BREAKING : REVOLUTION STRIKES ZELANDAN TERRITORIES

ASSIRIA: A rebel militant group known as the 'Freedom First Party' has reportedly initiated hostilities against local authorities on Lemortec Island. The island has been placed on military lockdown as the Zelandan government announced its intention to crush the uprising.

The uprising reportedly began last night when armed civilians open fired on various government check points. The Commonwealth of Independent Nations has not yet sent inspectors to the island to estimate casualties, but government figures have reported the deaths of some five-thousand militants and civilians combined.

Prime Minister Cristiano Cavazza condemned the attacks, saying "We will not have a militant party in one of our Crown Colonies to have the freedom of subduing our jurisdiction and that of the government of Lemortec. We will put an end to this, even if it means by deadly force."

The newly elected government of Anglynova has pledged support from its newly-formed Royal Anglynovan Regiment to the United Kingdom of Nuova Zelanda. Prime Minsiter Gualtiero Aleppo reaffirmed Anglynova's commitment to protecting the ideals of the United Kingdom of Nuova Zelanda.

Nova Violet supporter, Robert Diono, rallied a group of psychopathic followers into a riot in our nation's cultural capital, Nottingham. And violently protested against NV segregation. "I mean", says citizen, David Wallingham, "If they weren't so oppressive and violent, maybe we'd cut them some slack. I mean, they killed innocent people! They're monsters!".

Citizens have also reported that military response has present in the area, and that the NV numbers are growing larger day by day. "We need to stop them," says military sergeant James Holling, "They oppressed our land and ruined our country. If I had it may way, I'd kill every last one of them."

The King has not yet taken notice to this terrible issue. However, he says if the issue persists he will deport all Nova Violet members or suspects. "It's our land and our nation," His Majesty King Austin Adams I reports, "They are guests who WILL hold our constitution. It is taking all of my physical power not to deport them already."

Good Morning, we come live to you today to report the ongoing rebellion on Lemortec Island.

The Freedom First party is gaining more and more support from Lemortec locals and they seem to be composing more battalions to fight the Lemortec Colonial Force. The LCF is loosing ground and men every minute due to the intense fighting, most of the men left alive in the LCF are deserting their ranks to join the FFA. The government of Lemortec is making a last plea for help for Nuova Zelanda and Anglynova to intervene as soon as possible in this bloody conflict. The high commissioner to the island has left the capital Carcufino for the mainland, many Lemortec locals consider the high commissioners decision to leave the island a move that shows Lemortec an island without a government.

We have a reporter Antonio Stivoni live in Carcufino close to the frontlines of the rebellion:

"Hello, thank you Giuseppe. As you can see not much is left of the beautiful city that was Carcufino. The LCF are trying their best to push back the armed rebellion, but the FFA is gaining more and more ground by the minute. It seems as though the FFA is attacking with little concern for the deaths that are amounting every second due to this bloody fighting. If the FFA enters the City the whole island colony will be declared a new nation separate and Independent to Nuova Zelanda. back to you Giuseppe."

The newly elected Prime Minister Gualtiero Aleppo of the Dominion of Anglynova in a news conference pledged support for the Lemortec Colonial Government by the immediate intervention of the newly-formed Royal Anglynovan Regiment. He also reaffirmed Anglynova's commitment to protecting the ideals of the United Kingdom of Nuova Zelanda. Prime Minister Cavazza and High Commissioner Gerotti were both pleased to hear the commitment of Anglynova in the struggle to keep lemortec island a colony of Nuova Zelanda.

The Nuova zelandian task force 01 assigned for the quick intervention and lock-down of the island is only one day away from being fully prepared to be sent onto Lemortec soil. General Emiliano Carfagnini in an interview with la stampa earlier today, said the following, " Task Force 1, as code named by the armed forces supreme command Assiria. Is making all necessary preparations to intervene swiftly in this rebellion. Due to our armed forces being composed largely by conscripts we have no choice but to have some time of preparations prior to attacking the enemy forces. We want to limit casualties as much as possible not only Nuova Zelandian army, air force and navy personnel but also civilian lives, therefore we need to be more than 100% ready."

1. Three policemen had been injured while other 2 were found dead when a public bus overrode a the police kiosk that took place in Chowrongee today morning. The bus which caused the accident had slipped on the wet asphalt loosing its control and breaks. Constables Diran Das and Raju Bakshi were dead on impact. Sub-inspector Malloban Roy and Constables Gayi Bhuyi and Subhas Farookh are admitted in the Bengal General Hospital. Doctors believe that they would recover soon. The Police have ceased the bus for the moment. Investigation is going on until then the bus driver have been taken in custody along with the conductor.

2. The newly built Eastern Rail Stadium in Behala will be inaugurated by the Governor and Shri Sourav Ganguly in a gala ceremony to take place in the stadium. It is believed popular Bollywood and Tollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Jeesu Sengupta are going to perform with singing performances of the participants of the popular show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil' Champs.

3. Haldia Docking Corporation Limited has been selected the lowest bidder for the construction of the newly proposed metro project in Haldia. Along with Infrastructural Development Corporation Bengal Limited, HDCL is expected to complete the project within 2015. National Rolling Stock Limited have been issued orders to develop rolling stock for the project while it is being decided that weather the project should be spun off independent form Eastern Railway Company Limited after completion or not.

4. The Deputy First-Minister of Bengal, acting as First-Minister under the Governor has issued a proclamation today to the protesters in Darjeeling that if they do not call off their strike within 72 hours and come for a mutual discussion, the state will launch paramilitary forces to bring peace in the area. The Gurkha Liberation Force who are behind these strikes against people's will hamper the economy of the city and cause problem to visiting tourists in their demand for a free Gurkha land under India. The rebels are being investigated by the All Bengal Police and are soon to be brought under custody for questioning.

5. The Election Conduction Authority has issued a memorandum stating that a new list of voters are to be formed for the 2013 General elections, to be held in November. The agency has formed the Chatterjee Commission to conduct this job. Work of collecting right information of voters has been started in full scale since yesterday.

6. The Kolkata Minucipal Corporation, under Mayor Shobhon Chatterjee has issued city wide beautification project for the upcoming national games to be held at Salt Lake City Stadium in September. The ERCL is also to issue 4 new temporary high speed trains for better communication to the capital during the games. Kolkata Airways Group also plans to increase its flights according to the games chart to be issued late August. In the mean time the Kolkata Sky Wheel has will be soon completed and thus awaits inauguration by the Governor and Shri Rohan Sen CSI, Chairman of Bengal Ispat Works Limited scheduled for September 28th.

7. Conflicts with the Empire of Imperialisum have been resolved between the Governor and the Emperor. They term the crisis as a friendly debate. The media is suspicious about the national stance though. For now the Bengali Embassy in the Empire has been reopened with a small ceremony of friendship while the Empire evacuation order for Bengali citizens revoked personally by the Governor.

PIATrack, one of Piacentini's largest industries, has just announced they will now be providing environmental ways to industrialize and expel waste. Before this, it was one of Piacentini's largest producers of waste and pollution, and now with the new PIAEVA (PIAcentini EnVironmental Act) they will no longer be launching horrible by products into the atmosphere.

This new act has been felt all over the capital and Piacentini's largest cities. Skyscrapers are now called to change what products they release, and new skyscrapers will be built out of glass and coral-steel (a blueish coral that when melted turns to steel and is stronger then titanium) and houses will now be built out of wood, stone, or sandstone.

Hopefully, this new act will help further increase Piacentini's economy and the overall welfare of the land. After all, it's our island.

To-day, the Krasivovian Parliment has aproved with a vast mayority the Foreign Ministry's proposal to join the Commonwealth of Independent Nations.
The Commonwealth of Independent Nations is a supranational organization that has been growing steadily in the last few years, and which, according to the Foreign Ministry, will play a "pivotal role" in international politics and economics in the following years. The proposal to join the organization came about last month; since then there has been a debate as to whether Krasivovia should join or not. On the course of the week, the debate has been carried out at the Parliment, where it was obvious since the beggining that most of the legislators intended on accepting the proposal. The voting took place in the morning of this day, and all the mayor parties (the KCP, the LDPK and the CU) voted in favour of the motion, while the KSD mostly abstained from voting and the whole block of the far-right NFK voted against. The final result of the voting was: 87% for, 5% against, 8% abstentions.
The Krasivovian Chancellor, Henrik Vodianov, stated that "a new era is begining today in the country". A delegation consisting of the Chancellor and several other high-ranking diplomats will travel later today to the Dominion of Anglynova to formally officialize the adhesion to the Commonwealth. A small ceremony will be held in front of the Presidential Palace, in the Ivan VI Plaza in Gorodya, where the Commonwealth flag will be hoisted, while a band will play the anthem of the organization.

Phillip had a total of 13 saves without counting the 5 goals he let in. Planefield lacrosse is distraught over the loss, and claims they will work hard and win next year. As for Hembridge, partying and celebrating await as the team chants "Roughriders! Roughriders!". Highlights include James Chauncey with an outside shot, a behind the back, and two one-timer goals as well as feeding to the cutting middies on the crease. Today on several social media networks their is a buzz on the Queen Maria Artasia who has reportedly been seen on several occasions with the Emperor of Imperialisium. The Queen who at first remained silent on the matter for somedays and has not brought anything up on the Congress released a message that has gone viral, "The Emperor and I, its complicated but yes we are dating."

Now this has sparked outrage from the Socialist Democratic Party but otherwise the entire affair has garnered intense media attention. If the two Monarchs did eventually bring the relationship further and bring it to marriage the resulting Personal Union would definately solidify Imperial-Royalist policies around Eirenia.

The plans of Bundeskanzler Martin were found out today: He proclaimed True Happines a monarchy and himself
the Grand Prince. With support from the Monarchist Party and the Empire of Imperialisium, no one in True Happines
can really oppose Mr. Martin.

True Happines was a monarchy from 1788 when it was formed to 1912 when a long civil war broke out
between the Republicans and the Monarchist. Eventually the Republicans won with foreign support.

As True Happines is still very secluded, the people aren't expecting anything from the outside world, especially
as the conflict in the East is drawing everyone's attention.

Our Grand Prince, His Grace Anthony van Endracht en Priasch, led True Happines to war in order to assist and help our allies. Men of our country marched to Sechyvasia to defend our allies from the aggressors. We fought for a just cause.

His Grace salutes for the brave men and women of our country.

His Grace has also made clear that a national parliament will be established under the name Rijksdag. The formal constitution is still under work, but the Rijksdag already has some legislative powers.

Some powers will also be "handed" to the citizens and the people by themselves, in other words, direct democracy.
The constitution is still under work, so I can't say for sure how much direct democracy you people will get to enjoy, but I promise you at least some.
