New Disease Effects Small Mining Town (IC)

Postby Talion Union » Sun Jul 28, 2013 10:15 pm

During an routine mining shift, a group of miners accidently uncovered a unknown disease buried under the ground. The mine has been sealed along with any infected individuals, but it is feared that the plague will spread above ground. The military as established a medical camp near the site, with the local clinic being temporarily set up as a research center, fully equipped with science equipment.

Professor Xu was asleep sitting in his seat on the plane with an open brief case infront of him with a laptop inside. Other passengers sat quietly reading books, listening to music typing on computers or snoozing as well. A sudden jerk in the plane startled the Professor awake. He looks at his watch and saw he a little more time before the plane would set down in Talion.
"Professor? You ok?" A young man next to him asked.

A little embarrassed he scratched at his head, "Oh, yes, my apologies, Lin. My research must have put me to sleep again. I need to finish this new book for the University by the time I get back or I might need to find a new position."

"It's ok, Professor." Lin finally pulls up the courage to ask, "Professor, you haven't told us what is going on. All we know is that we are heading for Talion. What is the matter?"

"Hmm, I didn't say did I? Oh must be my old age getting to me." He chuckles softly. "I suppose I can tell you." He takes a sip of water to wet his mouth. "Well, not too long ago apparently, the Imperial Government received an urgent request for aid from Talion. Her Imperial Majesty has just become allies with the nation and is looking to improve relations for trades sake. Her Majesty called me in and told me that a small mining town in Talion is dealing with a recent outbreak of disease. It's possible that this came from a buried pocket of gas or plant material from within the mines but we just aren't sure yet. Anyway the situation is top secret and so far contained to the town. Her Majesty requested of me to look into the matter. So here we are with my crack team of University students!"

"Oh my, Professor, this sounds all too much. Secret talks with the Empress, a hidden disease, a team of scientists. So strange. So dangerous. And all for only 6 Credits?!"

"Aiya that is not my policy take it up with the school." The professor joked. "Anyway, we will be protected by a group of elite guards the Empress has given over to protect us. I think we'll be quite safe. Not too mention other groups of scientists will arrive to help as well from all around the globe. It should be a swell old time."

A stewardess interrupts them, "I'm sorry sir, but we are going to be landing soon. If you could close your laptop? Thank you."

Professor Xu looks to Lin, "Get ready for a landing." He smiles warmly. Though in the back of his mind he doesn't like the sounds of the situation at all what so ever.

The Imperial Dreadnought flew out of Hanseong International, inside it were 70 military personnel and 4 scientists. The four scientists and ten soldiers were crammed into a room with the space for ten at maximum.
Kirine squeezed past two guards with full body armour, there was barely enough room as it was without the idiots taking up the space of two normal people.
She got to a table where Clara was sleeping.
"Clara?"
Kirine sighed as Clara failed to notice her for the ninth time.
Kirine then turned to the soldiers with her,

"Must you be here? Don't you have soldier stuff to do?"

"With all due respect ma'am," a soldier began, "Our orders were to stay with you at all cost."

"Well, I find it unnerving to have so may people watching me..."

"Would it help if we looked away?" A soldier asked sarcastically.

Kirine sighed, the Soldiers of The Holy Empire were strong and reliable but sometimes they seemed so stupid.

"Look, I just need five minutes to myself! Can't I have some privacy?"

The Captain thought for a bit then agreed. The soldiers moved out of the room and Kirine could breath again, the smell of men who hadn't washed in a week was killing her.
The newfound friendship with the Talion Union could only mean Holy Empress Nunnally was looking to expand friendship with other nations once more.
Her imperial Majesty had visited the Research centre Kirine was in and talked with Kirine as a friend, and it just so happened that they were the same age.
She pondered at how the Holy Empress was faring with matter back home.

Kirine poked Clara. It was a weird coincidence they were born in the same town a few streets apart, such a strong friendship had been forged between the two and nothing could break that...

"We are now approaching Talion Airspace, please fasten your seatbelts."

"Clara! Wake up!"

"Hey, what?"

"We're landing. Here," Kirine gave Clara her seatbelt, "Fasten it now."

As Clara was doing her seatbelt Kirine thought of what may happen in the Talion Union and what new Pathogens she may find there. The thought of it excited her yet a chilling feeling would not leave her spine as she was well aware of the dangers it could bring.

The dreadnought entered Talion airspace and started to land.

As the two massive aircraft landed at Adams International Airport, Xu and Kirine were greeted by Dr. Garrett, with Commander Marshall at his side. "Welcome. It is a pleasure to meet you. Please, follow me to the command center, there is much to discuss." The walk to the command center within the town was short, since the town is so close to the airport. Within, there is already a research area, and a security room established.

Ten soldiers came out of the craft, down the stairs and scanned the area.
"All clear sir!" One of them yelled into the craft.

"For goodness sake!" Kirine walked out, her normally long hair tied into a bun. "We are in allied grounds! There's no need for such hostilities!"

"But ma'am we have direc-"

Kirine put a finger to his mouth and walked down the stairs. She felt trousers were unfemenine and had decided to wear a skirt to this particular occasion, a decision she now regretted as she struggled to keep the skirt down in the wind.

When she got to the ground she walked to Dr. Garrett and shook hands with him. As Proffessor Xu came into view Kirine turned and shook hands with him also.
The Guards followed closely behind surrounding the four other scientists. Clara, still half-asleep, jogged and caught up to Kirine.

"Where are we again?"

Kirine sighed and whispered: "The Talion Union! I told you about the outbreak!"

"Outbreak? What outbreak?"

"Have you listened to anything I said?"

"Evidently not..." Clara said under her breath.

"What was that?"

"Nothing..."

They continued to walk to the command centre.

Off the flight the students crowded around the Professor Xu pestering him with questions about the mission they were and how this would effect their grades back in the University of Yong'an.

Xu saw a familiar looking Corean woman standing before him and was sure to go see if it was her. Adjusting his glasses as he walked closer it sure enough was Kirine and Clara of Corea.

Waving off his students for all but one grimmer looking gentleman that was his first assistant. Xu extended his hand out to shake with Kirine. "Good to see you again, young Ms. It's been too long. Unfortunate our two nation came to war and stopped the work between us. Hopefully we can enjoy the time together looking into this epidemic."

A woman in fatigues and short hair approaches Professor Xu with a QBZ-95B-1 Carbine slung over her shoulder. In a rough voice for a female "Professor we are offloaded from the plane and ready to move to their compound. I will inform the Talion's that I am sending a reconnaissance squad to check out the perimeter and gain general geographic intel."

"Wow, so quick and efficient. Thank you for telling me Captain Song. Don't step on any toes now. We're here as guests afterall."

"Of course Professor." She steps back and with a quick click of her heals salutes to the Professor and walks off.

Professor Xu looks around as they walk into the town and the students chat with themselves. He leans to his assistant, Jin Mao, "Be sure to get an air sample as soon as we set up. Heat signatures. Wind patterns. General fauna." The sullen man simply grunts with acceptance of the command.

"What a pleasent little town." Professor Xu proclaims. "Let's see if we can solve it of its ailment." He then thinks to himself. 'Though unlikely as that may be.

Commander Marshall begins to bring them all up to speed on the situation. "The town is sided on three sides of mountains, and one by canyons, with one way in and out of the town. We have explosives in place along the edges to cause a collapse and stop any infected from spreading out of the QZ. The area houses 14,000 plus civilians." He looks up from the holographic command interface table. "Are there any questions before I go on?"

"This epidemic could ultimately destroy the world. We request to have our quarantine units to secure the area, as well as the rest of our military support to blockade the area. The units have full body suits, that are proven to block all biological particles. Since this disease could spread through air, it is suggested that the creation of enough suits starts to hand out to the populace. The Stomalian suits are white and have a glass face mask. The suits have the Stomalian flag on the shoulders, the B1 X seal on the front. As this mission may be dangerous, instead of the biological breathing masks there is a large supply of air tanks for the Stomalians.

They looked over the lab that had been established for them. It would be adequate despite the quick set up of the lab. Xu had brought plenty of materials to aid him in his research,

Professor Xu looked over the information the Commander had informed them as they stood in the dark room surrounding the holograph "That is well and good you have the area isolated. Let us see what we can do before you turn this into a shooting range shall we." He waves the students off to their dorm quarters provided by the Talions. Xu's assistant remained by his side with a tablet computer and tapping away with the stylist.

"Commander, I need to know what the symptoms are of the infected. Rate of infection. Side effects. Attempts at counter acting it... If possible I need to see a patient, a subject. One infected."

Captain Marshall waved his hand at two nearby soldiers. They both nodded and ran off down a nearby hallway. "If you look over to your left you will see our observation room." A door opens and one of the soldiers walks in with an bloodied man with a black bag over his head. He removes it, shoves him to the ground, and runs out of the room, sealing the door behind him. The man looks up, his eyes bloodshot. He screams, and throws himself at the glass, smearing blood and saliva on it, but fails to damage the shatter-proof glass. "This subject, officially designated, Patient Zero, will serve as our means of understanding and defeating our mutal enemy," says Dr. Garrett. "You may begin studying and taking notes on the subject whenever you are ready."

"Hurry up, we're already as late as it is!" Shouted Professor Frost while getting in and buckling up in a helicopter that would lead them to the Talion Union.

"Alright, alright, hold your horses." Replied another scientist playfully as they got on the helicopter. On the landing pad Commissioner Sulvian walked up to the Professor just as the CPP soldiers were getting on a different helicopter.

"Have you already briefed your team and soldiers on this little trip?" Asked Commissioner Dan.

"Yes I have, I have informed Marhsal Jukiv and Sergeant Davis and they will inform their own men." Yelled the Professor trying to be louder than the loud wings of the helicopter starting up.

"Alright, I also warn you these people are not hostile by any-means. Do not change that." Commissioner Dan scolded. He walked away. Just then the hatch for the helicopter closed as the very last soldier got inside and buckled up. The helicopter then made a little startling thrust into the air, and then began moving at a very fast speed. Another helicopter carrying medical supplies, ammunition, weapons, and the soldiers followed very closely behind the one Professor Robert Frost was located on.

After a few hours of conversations and games, it become night. The pilots told everyone they will be there in the morning, and it would be good to get some sleep. Most everyone was asleep, except Robert. Robert through his life slowly became a workaholic, and he was looking at important E-mails and messages on his government issued smart phone.

With out warning, his phone died.

"Dammit." He mumbled under his breath. Then suddenly he noticed one of the scientists facing a corner, just standing there. Robert couldn't tell who it has exactly. "Hello?" He asked then suddenly there was a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see the most horrific sight he has ever saw, one of the scientists were rotten, had maggots slithering and eating away that the eyes and nose of the scientist. It's teeth we're black, and it's gut wrenching breath was putrid. The scientist was extremely pale, and parts of his or her's body was rotten.

The other one that was facing the corner twisted it's spine and legs, crawling on four legs, and scuttled at the Professor. At unbelievers speed, silence, and agileness, jumped onto the professor. One bit into his right leg, the other biting into his chest as he screamed.

He then woke up. He was breathing heavily and was sweating, and it has a lot brighter out. "Fuck." Was all he could saw, realizing that it was just a nightmare. He rubbed his eyes and then looked around. Everyone else was awake or just waking up.

"Are you ok, Professor?" Asked one of the younger scientists.

"Yes, just a really bad dream." He replied. He looked out of the window, and there he saw the little town. The helicopter started to slow down.

As most were startled and took a step back from the impact of the infected patient zero Professor Xu in fact stepped closer to the glass observing the creatures physiology and behavior, sliding his glasses closer to his face. "Hmm, note the patient's obvious hyper aggression. His eyes. He can't see anymore. They've been eaten away."

Professor Xu takes his hard metallic pen from his breast pocket and taps on the window. The infected patient slams his into the glass failing its arms in the attack. "He is relying on hearing to find us through the wall. He is totally blind." Patient Zero still holds its head against the glass. Allowing the room to observe the it closer. Xu grew even closer seeing something strange in the hair of the creature. His eyes widened realizing what it was. "Note also," he breathes heavy "Growths protruding from the skull across the scalp." He straightens himself out, turning to the Union Commander, "I would like to get a hold of the blood and saliva that the patient has smeared on the glass for us."

Xu walks to the back of the group letting the others take observations. With his left supporting his right arm places his thumb and index finger to his chin in contemplation. "This all happened within the past 48 hours. Which means the disease spreads quickly...I need to get a sample to see how its done. How it attacks the cells of the body." He moves his hand to rub the bridge of his nose closest to his eyes. "Also we will need an infected corpse if possible. I don't want to sacrifice our patient Zero to an autopsy quite yet."

"You may just have that opportunity, Professor." Captain Song spoke as she stood in the back of the room leaning against the wall with her hand to her ear piece. "I have word that something has wandered toward the edge of the town."

"Let's go see, shall we?" Xu walks out the room with Captain Song, leaving his attendant behind to continue observations. "Leave my students in the dorms, I don't want to expose them to this quite yet."

They head outside the facility into the sun which they shield their eyes from. They look about the town around them that is under lock down by the Talion Military. A large group of soldiers form at the far end of the town. They get closer and see the soldiers in a ready position to open fire on the the approaching figure. Song hands Xu a pair of binoculars to observe the target.

Looking at the figure, it was a pathetic and sickening thing to see. He was clumsy and sluggish, wearing a torn up miners uniform. It barely seemed as if it was truly aware of what was going on around it. Xu lowered his binoculars, "Poor creature...Fire a shot at its feet, Captain."

Captain Song raised her QBZ-97B Carbine, she peered into scope. Observing the creature she found safe ground next to the infected man. Song fired a single shot to just in front of the infected's feet. The creature jumped startled at the sound. At first it could not register what had occurred, but it grew agitated. A soldier yelled out, "Look at the dumb thing. It's got no idea what it's doing." The infected heard the noise of the soldier speaking. It began to charge toward the men with flailing arms. The wall of soldiers were ready to fire at the infected running towards them. Xu was quick to order Song, "Don't let them rittle it with holes."

Song tapped on her ear piece and spoke "Take it down with minimal damage." As the creature grew closer a single shot is heard that strikes the creature in the head. A Sheng Chinese sniper stands up atop a building after firing the shot.

Xu calls out to those assembled, "Someone clean that up and bring it into the lab for autopsy, please."

"What is happening down there?" Asks one of the scientists looking at the town as the helicopter starts lowering.

"Most likely something with the infection," replied Professor Frost "we'll, lets hope to get a welcoming party, shall we?"

The two helicopters land. Almost immediately soldiers from the second helicopter got out, secured a position, and went to see if Frost's team is ready. Once they start unpacking they are greeted by Talion soldiers.

"Hello there, we messaged you about landing here. We are from Pandeeria and represent the CPP. We received word of an infection in this town and we are tasked with finding out what it is and fixing this little issue." Stated Professor Frost.

"That's right" replied a man in a leadership tone.

Kind of confused by the such short reply, Frost continues to say "Well, erm... Uh yes we request to study the infection. Do you have fluid samples, perhaps an infected host?"

"Yes, we have a research center with a supposedly patient zero. Some Sheng Chinese scientists, I think their lead scientist is Professor Xu, studied the infected. You could maybe even meet him in your way to the center." Replied the same man, definitely the leader of the "welcoming party."

"Very well." Said Robert.

"Professor Robert," Marshal Jukiv interjected "Sergeant Davis and five other soldiers will escort your team to the compound. The rest of us will start unpacking here."

"Thank you Marshal. We better get a move on." Robert Frost as the small team started off to the compound. Inside they were greeted by quite a sight, the sight of the infected.

"Wow." Sergeant Davis said, half in curiosity and half in disgust as he saw the infected man behind the glass.

"Team, get some paper and right down some notes. Guards, you don't have to look." Professor Frost said playfully. "Hmmm, notice how it is slightly hunched over. It appears almost has if it's spine is slowly being modified, most likely from the pathogen."

The team with slick, black, and shiny pens scribbled down on pieces of paper.

"Growths seem to be growing from the scalpel area, this could possibly be a fungus." Said a different scientist.

"And it's eyes are..." Another scientist noted, not having to finish the sentence "it mostly detects things from sound. I'm guessing."

"And smell. There seems to be a strange, slightly abnormal colored mucus running from it's nose. The fluid could help it with smelling, and can be a transmission technique." Said yet another scientist, the entire team scribbling down notes while the guards didn't really pay any attention and mostly laugh and said jokes.

Suddenly as Professor Frost turned around, he was greeted by Professor Xu. He quickly puts his hand out for a hand shake. "Hello, I'm Professor Robert Frost, head of the Pandeerian and CPP science team. And, it's uhh... Professor Xu, correct?"

Professor Xu shook the hand of the fellow Professor, "Yes, quite right. I'm Professor Xu Rongxiang, of Her Imperial Grand Majesty's Research Task Force out of the Imperial University of Yong'an. Pleasure to meet you." Professor Xu sees the Professor's team observing the infected. "I see you are getting acquainted with patient Zero. Nice man isn't he?" Professor tried to keep things lite in the dreary situation.

"My team is in the lab next door looking over some tissue, blood, and saliva samples from patient Zero. I just came in from a short walk and hunt for an infected that approached the town's defensive line." As he spoke, Sheng Chinese soldiers carry a black body bag with the said infected corpse passed the door down a corridor. "That sounds like our new guest being escorted to his room. Would like to join us for an exploratory autopsy of the infected corpse? I want to get a look inside of him as soon as possible. To see how this thing works. The other scientists shall be joining me as well."

"Yes, this would be an excellent opportunity to see an infected up close, without that pesky glass." Robert replied. They walk and chatted together until they reached the lab where the infected was being prepared to be studied.

"Are you sure this is safe?" Professor Frost asked.

"Absolutely." Professor Xu said.

"Very well. Let's get to work." The professor said as he put on shiny black nitrile gloves. "Team, put on some gloves. You know the rules, if you come into direct contact with any dangerous or unknown biological pathogen, you report it to me. Ok?"

"Yes, sir." Some of the scientists said, others just nodding yes.

The scientists finally put the body on a table, and it was completely prepared for inspection. The first thing done was cutting around the scalp and neck area. Sure enough more of those growths were there, and beneath the skin they were a lot larger.

"More of these." A CPP scientist said.

"Look at the neck. The bones are mis-colored, this could help find out what was wrong with the infected's spine." Robert Frost said as he was cutting out a piece of the bone for further study.

Marry Draiz was cutting out a piece of skin as she accidentally cut the back of her left index finger with a bloody scalpel. "Shit." She whispered quietly too her self. The cut drew blood, but was still extremely small. She looked around to see no. One else noticed. No need causing a fuss, she thought, it's such a small cut. Nothing to worry about. She continued on, not telling anyone that she was possibly infected.

The team continued on inspecting, hoping to find away to help come up with a cure.

"Just stay alert and we will message you if anything goes wrong and we need assistance." Captain Rodgers, commander of the HBNS aircraft carrier Reticule, nodded as Dr. Dahl reminded him of his orders before being transported to the Talion mining town. "And don't forget. The payload of the submarine Brein should only be used if all goes to hell," the professor yelled to the captain as the transport helicopter took of.

It only took 1 hour before the small mining town slowly came into view. "Looks like the party hasn't started yet," observed Colonel Tran, a very patriotic veteran of the Bobrachan civil war with a hang of getting a bit aggressive. Dr. Dahl informed him," If all goes according to plan there will be no "party" and we can all go back home at the end of this month. And please Colonel, you don't have to play the tough guy and brag of how much better the Bobrachan military is than any of the others from the representing countries."

With a thud the Helicopter touched down on the temporary airfield constructed near the command center. Observing the makeshift camp Dr. Dahl got out of the Helicopter and immediately gets greeted by a soldier in a Talion military uniform. "Are you Dr. Dahl from the Bobrachan foreign aid team? Good. Then please follow me. I will show you and your colleagues the research area of the camp and the dorms, so that you can get right to your mission. I also think the other researchers have already made some progress of identifying the cause."

"Me and my men will go to the barracks and get everything set up. If you have any other orders just drop by or call me. At around 18:00 we will fly over the town to get a different perspective on the situation. I will call you if we find anything interesting," Colonel Tran informed Dr. Steven Dahl before he left for the science wing.

"We can't have anymore infected spilling out into the town. I'm taking a team to secure the entrance. I need the rest of the military force, save for a small team to guard this building, to secure the rest of the town. Then we can set up defenses, and take a head count of the civilians," says Commander Marshall. Dr. Garrett steps up from behind him. "The science team can stay in the base and study the samples from the deceased subject, as well as Patient Zero." Commander Marshall speaks again. "The rest of you can divide to see who secures which section."

Autopsy
With the scalp pulled away, Xu instructs two of his students to remove the skull cap. In a few moments the students have the skull cap removed. Speaking through his medical mask, Xu inspects the brain "Colleagues, now that our nerve center is exposed notice the degree of growth. This man was infected only two and a half days ago assuming he was infected at the first signs of the outbreak. His brain has been heavily permeated by this hostile growth. From what I see, none of the lobes have been spared from these growths. The damage to the visual cortex, hear in the back of the cerebral cortex is extensive. No wonder they are blinded. It would not surprise me if that has infected that spine you're interested in Professor Frost. Possibly runs down the entire spinal column." Xu continues to inspect the brain of the patient.

"It's two or three days old and there is already so much damage. It's spread through the body so quickly. Fascinating...frightening, yet fascinating." With a scalpel he dissects a large piece of the growth from one of the lobes of the brain. As he picks it up with a tong, Xu picks up magnifying glass to observe the growth. "Strange thing this looks like. Let get it to the lab and see what we're dealing with."

The jar is sealed and sent off into the lab next door. "Let's get some blood too. I would like to isolate the pathogen. It must move through the blood somehow and I would bet you it piggy backs off of blood cells to the brain."

"Any other observations?" Xu asked the assembled.

Command Center
Captain Song stands in the command center with Commander Marshall and other platoon leaders with her hands behind her back listening to the Commander. "Security of the town is crucial. My soldiers are some of the most elite snipers in the world. Give us the roofs and any other high advantage points. We can provide a large kill zone around the town and an early warning system. I shall provide 30 of my 45. I will be sending the other 15 into forests to watch the movement of infected around the mine. They are light and fast men. They will not be detected or they will at least be able to outrun anything they run into."

"Granted. Get your men into position as soon as you can. Professor Xu, do you think that thermal imagery would work on the infected?"

Lab

Dr. Dahl observed Dr. Xu and Dr. Frost dissect the body with utter care, while trying to get to hard to reach places like the spinal cord. Stabbing at a body to extract important data wasn't his specialty, but when the tissue and blood samples came under the micro scopes, he put his game face on. As he zoomed in to the tiny blood particles, that were slowly turning green due to the fungus, the professor discovered something he has never seen before. To start, almost all the parts of the cell seem to have a green film covering them especially the nucleus on which there seemed to be a green growing glob. The cell membrane has been thinned to nearly non-existence so there is no possible way the harmful partials could have been stopped from entering the cells. But what is most interesting is that the Mitochondria seems to have doubled in size producing huge amounts of power for the cell, which might be a lead to the infected extra strength. The scary part however was that the cells were reproducing as he was looking at the cell.

Outside

Colonel Tran left the command center without really listening what the of the Commanders were talking about. After five minutes of them discussing who would go where and how to defend the position, he left the meeting saying only he would heck out the barricaded mine entrance with some men. "Okay guys so this is the plan. 20 of you troopers stay back here at point boring protecting the lab coats, while the other 60 and the 20 pyros follow me to hopefully some action. If all is fine and dandy, which i hope it's not, we will add some defensive positions and turrets to give those mutants a hell of a surprise when they come out." And with that the group of 81 left the camp for the last time.

The lead Stomalian researcher, a B1 X Stomalian Biological Weapons researcher arrives in the room, wearing a white suit with a tank of air supply on his back. 2 Heavily armed soldiers with the same suits walk in with the researcher, and the rest will arrive shortly with a few M1 Abrams tanks.

Steelport,Saints HQ...

The men are getting ready to take off for the Small Mining Town..
Michael Saint,their Boss,gives a little speech:

Alright people,I do not know what exactly are you going to face there but i am sure about one thing. We cannot let these bastards get outside this mine or town if things get any worse. You are going to wear a special uniform desing to take a bite of 300 kg.For the head you will wear an oxygen mask. You also wear your standar uniform when you are off-duty.Your Orders are:

Find out what the hell are these things
Help find a cure
Secure the mine and town

Now,if anyone gets infected they must be immidiatly executed. If something happen to Captain Bellic you are ordered to quickly secure him and retreat.Dismmissed!

He turns around and he shouts to Niko.

''Hey,Niko,come over here!''

''Yes...?''

''Look,i need you to speak with the Commander of Tallion Units and cooperate. You got 20 men.But if something goes wrong or the threat level goes to medium i will have 500 men and my self sent to the town...Good luck!''Saint said and went away

5 hours later...

The Hellicopter landed at a pad.Captain Bellic and Oleg Kirlov exited first with the rest of the team following.

As Dr. Dahl saw the helicopter land, he did not plan to be the guy who shows the new group around, but when after five minutes still no Talion soldier go to greet them, the proffers went personally to greet the new group. "Welcome to the QZ. I am Dr. Steven Dahl from Bobracha. Who would you be?"
A muscular military looking guy walks out of the helicopter and tells dr. Dahl "Thanks proffers. We are the Saints. I don't want to be inpolite but me and my men are really tired and we will formoly introduce us when we are fully rested and ready."
