here's an idea: in the land of crysuko, which is really rather communist, there exist some capitalist and pro-democrat holdouts in the form on small communes, villages and other hidden and secluded places. The RP takes the form of a group of such people trying to live their lives while the communist government and militias attempt to find and destroy them.

You could create a fake nation/NPC nation. Plus you could do something like "imperial invaders took over, now I'm rebelling and its not a phase.

I'M SUCH A SLACKER!
Sorry guys, I had a lot to do today; had to go to the print shop, get passport photos, study for some upcoming tests, do some homework, work on a report, and then address all my posts. So I am not sure when the thread will be up. Its coming soon, trust me, but I am super stressed out by a ton of end of the year work and reports and testing I am doing, plus I have to test for my black belt in Taekwondo this Sunday.
Maybe I can get it up tomorrow.

The background is that an agrarian country plagued by floods and earthquakes was turned into a fast-growing economy by a dictator (politically comparable to the likes of South American ones during Operation Condor) in the 1950s to 80s, in which the country experienced industrialization, built dams and power plants, living standards increased, more factories, more jobs, etc. The dictator died in 1988 and the country was democratised.

However, the new centrist government was indecisive and corrupt and pretty much undone everything good the dictator did. So after a few stagnated years in 2016 a big earthquake hit the country, destroyed the dams and triggered mass floods destroying towns and leaving many homeless as well as the nation's power plants shut down and industrial base paralyzed. A state of emergency was declared and the military launched a coup overthrowing the democratically elected govt, and they get lots of support from the people because memories from the authoritarian regime of the last century.

The power vacuum however is exploited by a communist-socialist insurgent group dating back to the '70s to take over several towns and locations, and a recently-armed technocracy movement advocating for the establishment of a, well, technocracy, but with the radical proposals of the actual Technocracy movement. The overthrown govt is still there as well trying to get international support.

It then turns into some civil conflict thing, so yeah.

Since my EOY exams are coming up, this will only be materialized after the exams and the plot is also subject to change. Shoot a TG if interested.
