Just an idea for roleplaying, four regions work together as one so to speak. Each region represents the Hemispheres of the Earth. Each hemisphere holds up to two or three continents and each region can rp with each other through Modern Tech, Past Tech, or Future Tech. So far the North Western Hemisphere is taken by a soon to be made region specifically made for this role-play idea. Any ideas or comments or anybody interested?

That might work. But I wouldn't want to be limited to the earth's map. I mean, there are multiple RP groups that have done exactly what you just proposed - Earth II and Terra Firma just to name a few, but I never really liked the idea of going by earths map because it limits you to the cultures and histories of the nations involved. Furthermore, changing one thing in history would change everything. Like if the Carthaginians under Hannibal had beat Scipio Africanus at Zuma or marched on Rome, the English, Spanish and German languages as we know them today would not exist, because Latin would never had taken such a dominant hold on Europe. Or if the Spanish Armada had conquered England, there would be no America. If there had been no Reformation in Europe there would not have been a French Revolution. You see what I'm saying? It's really hard to predict what could have happened because you have to take everything into account, from migration demographics to economic standings. But if you think your up for the task, by all means!

It's just I've never seen this accurately done before, even with some of the greatest RPers NS has to offer (Terra Firma).

The best way to do an RP in my opinion now is to do it like this.

Say you have 6 participating nations in your RP, 3 vs. 3, like Capitalism vs. Communism for instance. Have everyone play as themselves, then when one or two go inactive, the remaining people play as your the inactive nations' until their return. Say nation A, B, and C are allies in a war, but A and B are inactive for a few weeks, then nation C will act as the Coalition commander and will take command of nation A and B's forces until their return. That way RPs don't die just because one person is gone.

Perhaps. Though I would argue that 6 nations is a bit much...nevertheless you ussualy have two nations who are the main combatants. Fighting on a single front (Nation A v. Nation B) with the other nations playing side roles. I mean, that's an argument from a realism standpoint. Just because we're fighting together doesn't mean we're actually fighting - a lot of times allies provide logistics, intelligence, and air support, not troops. I think this is something vastly underplayed in NS.

That might work. But I wouldn't want to be limited to the earth's map. Well I was thinking it would be an era style. start at wwI or before and roleplay till the future and then reset but change a few maps and or people around and what not.

Here's an idea: after the successful launch of a satellite weapons network, it is hijacked by a terror organisation. Commando based RP which sees a multinational team retake the main control facility from under the nose of the malcontents, all while a B-plot goes on about who they are and what they want...and who might be helping them.

I haven't done a International Incident in a while and was wondering if anyone would be interested in a quick but fun war RP. Basically it would revolve around my nation having a small single colony on the main continent (since I am a island nation) that we bought from another nation awhile ago. However the people in the colony (numbering around 15,000 residents) have grown tired of being governed by a small islands nation and revolt.

If anyone is interested I was thinking that the colony used to belong to your nation until it was bought and now you are secretly suppling the revolt with old tech and maybe sending in soldiers that look like rebels to reclaim it. This wouldn't be a very big war I will only be sending 3,000 troops and the outcome will depend on other players who join. If you are interested please PM so we can get it all sorted out.

I was thinking of having some kind of RP that takes place in the capital of North Banrodesia, particularly the seat of government, in which different people would RP people working with and in the seat of government and the president. People could be district representatives (members of parliament, etc in other words), governors, ambassadors for their own nation with interests in the seat of government, or even journalists and news companies reporting on the capital. I would be rp'ing the president and pretty much running the country and pursuing the presidents goals, but the meat of the rp would come from other people working in the seat of government attempting to achieve their own goals whatever they may be.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Or are you interested? PM me and I'll see if other people think this could work. It may need a fair few people, however, before it can be an interesting RP.

The agency in question would be the most secretive of all NMK government bodies, the Secret Police. They are responsible for the 'disappearance' of known/registered communists and socialists. They also play a part in identification and general physical security of high-level government officials. (Immediate physical security is handled by the Secret Service.)

Due to the Emperor being a minor, he is more vulnerable to danger / intimidation and the Regent is running the show. I doubt your government would be able to influence events however, due to the classified monitoring system in use (It makes heavy use of machine learning and cloud computing, not that anyone not in the NMK would know as the system's very existence is heavily classified. It wouldn't be part of the breach for the same reason.)

I would be really interested in this if you manage to pull it through.

However, how would the world know, or how would the data be distributed? Hackers? Spies?

Also, what kind of data are you thinking it'd be released to the public? Government data, military data, or citizen data?
