Actually, I have an idea for this to go on.

High in the mountains of western-central Crysuko, a mysterious tunnel opening has been spotted. There are rumours that it leads to an abandoned black station. What is a black station? an urban legend of hidden labs where illegal and unethical experiments are performed on human subjects. But is it just an urban legend, could it just be an an unsafe abandoned mineshaft like the government says it is?

if there are illegal experiments being performed on the other end of that tunnel, what nightmares await...

It sounds really interesting, I have a suggestion for the backstory:
"A large group of Adventures from all around the world have decided to investigate the tunnel together. They've organized the expedition and planned everything contacting each other through the internet. They're going to meet at the biggest airport of Crysuko and then board the rented small train which is going to take them to the tunnel entrance. The Adventurers approach the entrance motivated and excited. They don't know what awaits them inside..."
People are going to post their character applications containing: age, photo, personality, equipment they have with them, nationality, their backstory, gender etc.
What do you think about it Crysuko?

I had an idea for a new RP (MT, nation-only) and I'd like to share it.

People see opportunity in a piece of land that is not claimed due to recent conflicts. When it seems that no nearby nation shows interest, it's the prime time for a new nation to develop. The problem is where this nation comes from. There has been a bit of collective unrest from the citizens of multiple nations, in the form of disagreement with each nation's actions, government, etc. The number of these citizens is increasing, along with the portion of them who show interest in this land. While this tiny nation develops, no one knows exactly what to make of it, or how it will turn out, but caution is a key factor surrounding it as its many bordering nations are. Now, the idea of this nation is spreading to the officials of multiple nations, each with their different ideas. SOme have even gone as far as suggesting that a portion or all of their nation joins in the developement. It is now the job of a group of countries to come together and decide the fate of this new nation.

I have had an idea for an RP, but it's a "historical" one, not a military or diplomatic one.
It would concern the Turykh, an ethnic group in my nation, and their claiming of lands.
There would be no antagonist (at least not in the villain sense, protagonist-vs-antagonist, hero-vs-villain). the problems coming from their struggle to survive and the weather.

In this timeline, the Turykh land has been settled by Anglo-Saxons, and intermarriage is common between them, but now they face a new threat, from an unknown tribe (RP'd by the other nation), who are looking to conquer the area, presumably for an empire, or for settlement.

Obviously with it being set in equivalent to Saxon era, modern technology could not be used etc., but it would be a more character-driven RP; a sort of saga, if you will.

The main character would be AEschelm, a Turykh of Saxon and Turykh descent, who is a tribal elder, and it would center around him and his people.

Would this be an interesting RP to do, or too complex

I'm looking for a Persian, Iranian, or Zoroastrian themed nation to make a few cameo posts in a new RP I'm hoping to start soon.

Basically, my story begins with my King leading a rather large army to invade the southern coast of persia from the indian ocean. The invasion attempt fails miserably though, and my king is gravely wounded and taken back to our capital city for emergency care, starting dynastic struggle within my nation. If anyone willing to RP as a Persian-like empire is out there and would be happy to write a few posts about your king's reaction to my short declaration of war and how badly your armies crush mine, I would be thankful.

I see so many great ideas for RP, then I see the countless site links to NationStates and cringe. Everyone has one true start point "NationStates" then run off to wherever. What if there was a rp in NationStates itself like an add on (moderator made) creator using what it already has but more to individual events in everyones own region with a possible shockwave effect going to other Nations in the same region. It would fallow the basic concepts of having to make choices with just a push of a button rather then rolling of the dice. Depending on the number of people only one or two would be randomly selected at any given time. Different rp theme sets in the creator could be like, Fantasy, sci-fi, ancient, modern, futuristic etc.... and the list could go on. As for rewards or fails well I don't know, maybe that could be done through a point system of progression? THEN THOSE DARN RIDER'S SHOW UP!

Well, if you're good with insurgencies then I can be flexible. Perhaps it does not have to be middle-eastern, but the context must be similar to that of American operations in the war on terror, IE Iraq and Afghanistan. Subtle and effective toppling of a government, then fighting an insurgency whilst doing some nation-building. That's at least the foundation.

Well I had a idea and I just finished a conflict that I can use as a explanation to why I did what i did for this conflict/war. I issued the National Preparation Order to my nation (its in my factbook) in response to the NK89 conflict. Set in modern times (year 2030)

Along with me building a insane amount of munitions and a large army on standby i think to spark a conflict i should have Rouge agents (kinda like spies but they are well trained soldiers as well.) that have infiltrated random government and military bodies.

Lastly to spark a war to be full scale maybe a rouge agent should assassinate a Government leader for whatever reason. This would turn many against me quite fast.

Iv been progressing my timeframe for a while now and wish to get a new leader so i wouldn't mind Lukas III to be killed during the conflict.

well, your previous monarch dies (let's just say the king), he has 3 sons and 2 daughters.The eldest son, the rightful heir is either unpopular or frequently sick, (ie, it would be unwise for him to rule). but the next child is actually twins. A male and female. Even if custom says that male gets the throne (it might be in your nation, it might not. the concept works either way), they each gain a following and vie for control over the kingdom.
Now, the two youngest siblings. A male and female. Let us say for instance, the youngest child, the female, has been the nicest towards the poor/working class, so she actually has the support of a large group. And finally, the brother, who is a wild card, flipping between sides, whichever gives him the greatest amount of authority, only to backstab them, trying to stay in the shadows while killing off siblings to become the sole ruler/heir.

This is a big example with 5 siblings. there can always be more or less depending on what you would like
