Why did you join the NPM?

Our secondary objective is the creation of a politically neutral organization which will serve to assist small, un-aligned nations in developing economic infrastructure, political influence, and educational facilities. So, to be concise, our main goal is to put forward a moderate platform favorable to the individual objectives of member-states.

What do you expect of the NPM?

We expect that the NPM will be considerate of all member-states' needs and act in a non-partisan and inclusive manner. The main goals of the organization should include economic development, the expansion of educational opportunities, and the establishment of amicable relations between member-states.

Should we change something?

Her Majesty's government would prefer to amend the official position of the movement on Imperialism. At the moment, the platform could alienate certain states who might otherwise support the organization. We suggest that an official constitution be adopted that opposes only the more barbaric examples of Imperialism.

Finally, We shall introduce our representative and announce our official nomination to the Security Council.

Two essential inquiries must receive appropriate responses prior to the resumption of the discourse regarding Security Council. What purpose shall the aforementioned organ claim? And, how shall the organ attain its objectives? We respectfully assert that the principal obligations of the New Power Mouvement, henceforth referred to as either the Movement or the NPM, relate more to diplomatic matters as opposed to martial matters. By emphasizing economics, education, and diplomatic self-determination, the organization eschews conflagrations which might prove counter-intuitive to our aims in the long-term while still acting as a moral force for the principles of self-determination and neutrality. As such, it is our belief that the Security Council should issue condemnations to address particularly unsavory instances of imperialistic aggression, such as those involving extensive ethnic cleansing or genocide, while avoiding intervention so long as this remains feasible. To act otherwise would undermine the objectives of the Movement.

On the matter of novel initiatives for empowering member-states, We would respectfully propose the creation of the Congress of Economic Development (CED), whose responsibilities would encompass the passage of resolutions regarding commercial agreements, the approval of economic sanctions advocated by the Security Council on nations who contravene or transgress the constitutional mandates of the NPM, and the extension of monetary aid to member-states undergoing crisis situations. Additionally, We support the establishment of the Association of Primary Education (APE), a organization designed to bolster the educational programs of member-states so that children will have access to the knowledge and opportunities which act as pre-requisites to success. Naturally, these matters may be delayed until after the constitutional convention.
