In the streets of Kannatska the people protesting.The refferendum that had been held showed that the people didn't want the King but still the Monarchist Government lied to the international community saying to them that the people had approved of his coup.The army officers that weren't royalists after getting over the shock made their own coup today, 23rd of October 2012.In an official TV broadcasting the Second Kannatskan Republic was proclaimed,the King was trialed and found guilty of prison and elections were proclaimed for 30th of October 2012.The King was senteced to life and today the Temporary Government abolished the laws established by the King were abolished and reformed to their previous state with a change.The monarchy was abolished.The House of Stolch-Bourboni had lost the remaning drops of power it had in Kannatska.

Imperial Capital Divade

His Majesty's Imperial Government is dismayed at the arrest of His Majesty Charles II. The Empire reminds Kanantska that Kings rule by divine right and no man has the right to depose he who symbolizes your nation. The imprisonment of King is a development which worries the government of Morpokia who believes that his life and that of the royal family is now in jeopardy.
The Holy Empire will not recognize the republican movement currently controlling the Nation. As a letter of abdication has not been forthcoming from His Majesty the Empire still recognizes Charles II as lawful ruler of Kanantska.

His Majesty's government however is ready to accept Charles II's abdication and exile, provided that the people elect a new King to lead the nation.

To the Transitional Government of Kannatskan

His Majesty's Imperial Government is prepared to accept transfer of His Majesty and the Royal House of Stolch-Bourboni to Morpokia. However His Imperial Majesty will do so on agreement that in the upcoming election the people are given the opportunity to elect a new Monarch or restore his Majesty to the Throne among other options.
The Empire confirms that it will recognize any government arising from a free and fair vote
