Welcome to the Adenian Royal Department of Foreign Affairs, Embassy and Ambassador Subsection. Here you can apply for an embassy and associated installations, as well as providing a single, multi-use portal for applications of trade agreements, defence pacts, and other enquiries likely to be answered by Her Majesty's Government.

Embassy Details

All embassies are built as and when requested, causing a delay of approximately some 3 months. In most instances we will work with the government involved to ensure a building that fits with the host nation's personal architectural preferences, whilst keeping a common building layout allowing the building to be renovated quickly and seamlessly in case of vacancy.

All embassies feature approximately an acre of green land for personal use, underground car storage, and an optional rooftop helipad (dependant on the vehicle's size and meeting AANA regulations, it may be reserved a space at the nearest aerodrome instead), along with facilities for secure satellite and international communications.

Embassy Regulations and Requirements

1. Arms and weaponry are limited to sub-machine guns and ceremonial weapons. Riot Control equipment, armed vehicles and high-calibre weapons are not permitted. Armoured vehicles are permitted. Consequently, security is under the jurisdiction of the Royal Metropolitan Constabulary, and the Adenian Territorial Service.
2. Diplomatic Immunity shall apply in the case of minor incidents; all fines and charges shall be initially delivered to the embassy of the nation of the diplomat in question. In the event of a major crime committed, diplomatic immunity shall no longer apply and the diplomat will be held according to Her Majesty's Law, resulting in necessary punishment and the status of persona non grata being applied.
3. Embassy staff are limited according to their embassy status; details available below.
4. Embassy vehicles are limited in number to 10, and 1 aircraft (non-inclusive). All vehicles must be registered with the Royal Metropolitan Constabulary and declared legal on Adenian highways.
5. The Royal Metropolitan Constabulary reserves the right to serve warrants of any type to a nation suspected of committing to illegal practices at it's embassy; embassies remain the sovereign property of Her Majesty's Government, and is leased to the nation of the embassy at the permission of Her Majesty.
6. Embassies are required to have one person of authority available at all times to receive said warrants (this may be the Ambassador themself, head of security, or an attaché).
