The border between Quirinian Western Viyagos and capisarian Western Viyagos was about to get a lot larger. The open land between Capisarian and Quirinian claims was long open, and capisaria had made the move to annex it. 10,000 would mark the first into the new territory, and messages would be sent, namely to Quirinia.

Dear Quirinian Government,

The Capisarian claim in western Viyagos has grown. We now fulfill all remaining land in Western Viyagos. All Quirinina nationals who may be living in unorganized land will be located, and given special visas good for 1-5 years, depending on their choice. There are a few roads in the area but they are vastly overgrown and poorly maintained, we don't know who built 'em, but we're gonna fix em. We will place customs checkpoints at all roads leading into the new territory, in accordance with common practice.

IC: USF ships steam up the large inlet and into the allotted land for development. They unload two army divisions to explore the land for potential settlement and to mark the borders. They come across many natives and make contact, but leave them largely unaffected by there visit. They find three sites almost immediately off the boats, landing commences at two sites while the third is pending with the arrival of more colony ships.

This post is largely about introducing Nortoapoco and the main figures in Nortoapocan Slavia. Many of the major events in the history of Nortoapocan Slavia are mentioned here.

Since we last left off, Nortoapoco has become a vast empire upon which the sun never sets. This was the work of the new People's Consul, Fmr. Admiral Samson Atwater. With Consul Atwater and Elite Consul Abraham Polk, Nortoapoco now had 2 Consuls who were closely aligned politically. With the recent departure of Helcasia from Slavia, freeing up a large amount of land, many expected Atwater to grab more land on the continent, but that was not in the plans of the great Admiral. Consul Atwater informed Governor-Colonel Joseph Sanders and Commodore Vladimir Kortneva that Nortoapoco did not desire further expansion in Slavia. The surplus population of the Nortoapocan colonies in Slavia would be able to move to new Nortoapocan colonies elsewhere. The target population of both New Nortoapoco and Atwaterion was now 500 thousand each and already 250 thousand Nortoapocans had left on ships for other colonies, leaving the population of Nortoapocan Slavia at 1.25 million (700 thousand in New Nortoapoco and 550 thousand in Atwaterion). Through this policy, the Nortoapocan People would advance God's Will throughout the entire world and advance the cause of righteousness amongst the nations.

Tauliu, Atwaterion, Nortoapocan Slavia

Governor-Colonel Sanders sat in his office in the Governor's Palace in Tauliu, capitol of the land conquered by Consul Atwater himself. From here, the Supreme Commander of the Nortoapocan Army in Slavia and Governor of Atwaterion could finally relax as the insurgency in southern Atwaterion had finally been suppressed. Formerly the disgraced Governor of Paradise Island, where he was ousted by a leftist coup that put a woman in power, Joseph Sanders had finally rehabilitated his reputation. Governor-Colonel Sanders had matured and rejected the misguided democratic ideals of his youth.

With no serious threats to Nortoapoco at the moment, Governor-Colonel Sanders saw fit to reduce the size of his Army to 10 thousand troops, with the others becoming reserves or being reassigned elsewhere. Should threats emerge, more troops can always be sent to Slavia.

Commodore Vladimir Kortneva had won the trust of Admiral Atwater and had been appointed Commander of the Navy in Slavia. He had recently been promoted to the rank of Commodore. Kortneva was born into a native Slavian family and his mother Mariya had led the Paradise Island Coup. The Commodore knew full well that it wasn't really a Coup, as her mother had been legitimately elected in a free and fair election, but the youthful Commodore was a loyal Nortoapocan who recognized that his mother's behavior during his youth had been scandalous. The Commodore's Navy consisted of a mere 50 ships, a far cry from the Atwater Armada of old, but still a formidable force.

Many of the conquered Sabaran people remain disloyal to Nortoapoco, but their numbers are relatively small and they have been dispersed throughout Nortoapocan Slavia. They are not considered a threat at present, but are closely monitored by local authorities.

Vanderstonia, New Nortoapoco, Nortoapocan Slavia

All 3 of the Vanderstone Brothers were now in the Palace in Vanderstonia. Governor Malachi Vanderstone enjoyed the rare opportunity to spend the day with his older brothers. Ezekiel Vanderstone was the CEO of the Vanderstone Corporation, the largest corporation in Nortoapoco and owners of a 50% share in New Nortoapoco. Immanuel Vanderstone was the former Elite Consul who had originally come up with the idea for a colony and made sure that his brothers were involved. The Continent of Slavia was important to all of the brothers and they decided to go out to the local stadium to watch Vanderstonia High School play for another football championship of New Nortoapoco, a spot in the national Tournament in the mainland and a chance to defend the Nortoapocan Slavia Cup against this year's champions of Atwaterion. Like always, most of the city of Vanderstonia would be in the stadium on this particular Friday night. For once, all was calm and there were no pressing matters for the Governor to worry about.

[Saurisisia]

With permission granted, the ships set off with some light escort. They had a long way to travel to get to Slavia so the people on board would have a lot of time on their claws inside the cramped quarters of the ships. Aboard, they had everything they need to start building a colony from scratch and the colonists were ready for what awaited them in their new homes. It had been sorrowful saying goodbye to their friends, family, and their Patria, but many eagerly awaited starting a new life abroad in a land claimed by Saurisia.

After weeks of travel, the Saurisians had finally arrived offshore of the part of Slavia they had laid claim to. They began unpacking from the huge ships everything they would need to survive in this new world. Erecting vast cities of first tents, then prefabricated homes, that would be their temporary housing until actual buildings would be constructed, the workers set out to begin building what was deemed to be the capital of their new colony.

Some colonists had spread out, setting up camp at various points throughout the colony in order to ensure that it was fully used. It was also meant to deter anyone else from encroaching on what was now Saurisian territory. Soon, settlements began sprouting up all over the territory with many more colony ships expected to arrive over the following months.

General Markel, leader of the colonists, was expected to take over as Governor-General until the time had come for a functioning colonial government to be set up. But, for now, she was in charge, overseeing the construction of the towns and cities that would in time dot the land as well as the establishment of farms that would feed the population. She also oversaw the colony's defense, as colonial troops were establishing military defenses and installations throughout the land and were already patrolling a perimeter, determined to keep an eye out for wildlife attacks and possible encroachments by any of the other nations that inhabited this region. It was all a grand start that was surely to be rewarded in due time.

Capisarian Western Viyagos

Approximately the same size of land was added to what already existed, nearly doubling the size of Capisarian claims in Slavia. The land was organized into smaller towns, with over 500 settlements. The road construction was well underway, with work on extending the Union hIghway routes into the area. Plots of land had began to have been cleared, and plots of land haad already been declared offlimits to development other than small scale housing and road and rail construction.

Along the border with Quirinian Western Viyagos, the construction of customs checkpoints on the Capisarian side of the border had began, with large buildings straddling the inbound side of the road.

[Capisaria]

The Capisarian Western Viyagos Provincial Territory is an island held by the Socialist Republic of Capisaria. Established in 2008 (OOC: I will change this if anyone has a problem) CE, the colony grew rapidly enough to apply for a Provincial status. On December 1st, the Western Viyagan Territory was formally organized into the Western Viyagos Province.

The Western Viyagos Province shares the island with Quirinian Western Viyagos. Quirinian territory was claimed a few years after the claimed Capsiarian areas, and has maintained cordial relations with it's neighbor. Recently, the ban on sentient equestrians from entering Capisarian soil has been lifted, thanks to a resolution in the National Parliament of Capisaria (NPC). A small amount of Legokiller Citiznes have traveled to Capisaria.

Capisarian claims were expanded in 2012 when land to the east of claimed territory was confirmed unclaimed. Currently being organized into the Provincial government, the new territory has been unchallenged by all nations, and is recognized as Capisarian sovereign soil.

[Heirosoloa]

The Heirosoloan Yivakosian colonies, officially referred to as "overseas states" had been vastly renovated. The Heirosoloan mainland lacked vast swathes of farmland, and thus the territories had been turned into massive agrarian settlements. Rice and wheat were the principle exports, although the southern coast of Phoenicia supported citrus fruits as well. Land had been sold cheaply by the Heirosoloan government, with smaller corporations getting the initial bids. As such, the "Jolly Green Giants" that ran the majority of the Heirosoloan Yivakos economy were independent from the conglomerates of the mainland. There was a certain air of separatism that surrounded the colonies, as their incredibly important exports and distance from the mainland dissuaded the Oceanic Republic from heavily incorporating the area. While the Yivakosian states were certainly considered an equal part of the Republic, they were also different.

Regardless, however, the Heirosoloan government had sunk significant funds into the area. The local infrastructure was heavily focused towards exporting goods efficiently, with large ports in Carthage City and in Neo Taipei connected to the various settlements by high-speed freight train lines. Not only did the colonies help feed the Heirosoloan mainland, however. The vast quantities of rice and wheat farmed in the two states was also being sold to the various other Slavian colonies, with Heirosoloan allies getting superior deals (covertly, of course). A significant fraction of the other Slavian states were also mostly agrarian, creating a fierce competition for the Slavian market. As such, the majority of Yivakosian produce was shipped outside of Slavia, to the massive countries of the multiverse that lacked colonies or sufficient farmland.

The majority of the defense, something constantly kept in mind by the Heirosoloans following the Windmillian War, was centered around the major ports of Yivakos. However, in another situation unique to the Yivakosian colonies, armed forces outside of the cities were relatively minor. There was too much land to cover with too little to warrant a significant force being dedicated. Therefore, the Oceanic Republic sponsored a militia program. Yivakosian settlers were required to serve in a militia for three years, where they learned to properly operate a firearm and to coordinate a resistance movement in the case of foreign occupation. Despite the vast expenses, it was considered to still be cheaper to maintaining a colonial defense taskforce, and kept the locals happier with the lack of government intervention. The stubborn independence of the colonies, however, continued to trouble the mainland. A trained force of armed farmers that controlled a large portion of Heirosoloan food supply was a threat indeed.

New Northern Vivakos

Establishing the Kcalbite colony of New Northern Vivakos was much like establishing a new nation in the burned ruins of an old one. While much had already been built, it was an ordeal within itself determining whether or not repairing it or destroying it would be more cost effective. When New Northern Vivakos was officially opened for corporations to try their luck in, fortunes were both made and lost with startling frequency. As a result of the ventures of the rampantly capitalist Elcric Kcalb, New Northern Vivakos was quickly becoming a wild and unpredictable place. It was highly likely it would remain that way for some time.

In some areas, life improved. Corporate powers came in, rebuilt infrastructure, established law and order, and henceforth. These areas were where the corporate powers made excellent decisions and moves, even if their motives were simply out of lust for projected profits. In other areas, life stayed the same if it did not become worse. Some corporate powers found that their plans were simply horrid and ill conceived. Riots, violence, and lawlessness consumed these areas, sometimes even driving the corporate powers out completely. Communist revolts were frequent, a byproduct of the now collapsed nation of Robithia's lengthy jurisdiction over the area.

As could be noted in the diagram, the Northernmost sectors of New Northern Vivakos received the most improvement. This is because the larger, more influential, and more successful corporate powers staked their claims here first. The Northern sectors were rumored to have the largest abundance of raw ores and, true to their rumors, are quickly transforming into prosperous areas where mining and refinement are becoming important industries. As a result of this, many down on their luck individuals from the subcontinent of Greater Elcric are making their way to New Northern Vivakos, possibly in the hopes of starting their life anew and making their fortune.

For now, the majority of New Northern Vivakos' sectors are stable. The economy of the region so far appears to be blooming, but this could easily change in little to no time at all. For now, the corporate powers infesting the colony focus on fortifying their claims (or retaking them in some cases) and waiting patiently for returns.

IC:In the northern parts of Soviet Slavia, the Soviet Army was being pushed hard to defeat the enemy forces however due to the sheer numbers of Soviet soldiers and the massive amounts of war machines being massproduced by slaves they were not being pushed back. The Soviet soldiers in retalliation to the enemy blitz attacks did a similar motion, as the enemy forces pushed into the nation the Soviet Army pushed around them to the side and at night the Soviets with 40,000 soldiers and 100 tanks surrounded the enemy army in the north and began lighting up the sky with artillery barrages as the armour prepared to charge.

One the island although the Soviets were outnumbered they did have the advantage of heavy air support attacking enemy ships and soldiers. The enemy had landed but the Soviets in their bunkers were putting up a heavy fight and stopping the enemy from getting much further than the coast. On the mountain in the middle of the island where most of the develpment and a large portion of the defensive posistions are had set up several long range artillery sites and began barraging the landing enemy soldiers with artillery shells.

This is not necessary in the slightest notion. The "United Pony States of Legokiller" do not have the authority or the standing in the Slavian Theater to deny any nation the right to establish a colony, nor do they have the right to regulate it. Messages should not be sent to the "United Pony States of Legokiller" requesting permission to establish a colony. If any nation wishes to establish a colony, all they must really do is send an open communique outlining their claims and follow up those claims by actually making use of the land.

Please do not elevate the "United Pony States of Legokiller" to a higher authority than they really have. The approval or disapproval of the "United Pony States of Legokiller" should not have any sway in a nation's decision to colonize the continent.

After massive political reforms and reorganizations in the military, at last, the whole of VFSR is now against their Soviet fellows, once again. At the south of Ctesphion, infantry and tank brigades take massive formations to slowly destroy the Soviet Army, aided with bombers and fighters at the air and rocket artillery brigades at land. The Stephanian brigades now launched mass bombings at important installations that might slow down Soviet progress, including attacks in towns and industries. Factories became prime targets of incendiary rocket attacks, forts that fence around the Soviet Northern Slavia began to launch more hypersonic cruise missiles, delivered from Homeland Base.

At the islands, the favor really turns great for the Victorican invaders, although considering the morale of their enemy troops could be either confused or they'll just stay there to fight to death. Anyway, the 2 Fleets assisting the invading brigades in the island began to launch more accurate missiles, jet fighters from aircraft carriers attack enemy troops, aimed to finish off the rest of the enemy artillery positions.

Nuclear holocaust became an option for an absolute end of the conflict, but they are still thinking of an alternative.
