Throughout the annals of history, it has been our sacred duty and privilege to transmit the living message of Christ through the Apostolic Tradition. In his final days, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, entrusted the Twelve Apostles, with the task of giving an authentic interpretation of the messages of the Holy Mother Church. Since then, the apostles and their successors have preached and witnessed the message of the Lord. Assisted by the Holy Spirit, and guided by the Magesterium of the Church, our work never ceases; we have been given the mission of living more fully from the gift of divine revelation, now let us share it with others!

THE CONGREGATIONS
Congregations are a type of dicastery (department with a jurisdiction) of the Roman Curia, which is the central administrative organism of the Catholic Church. Each Congregation is led by a prefect, who is a Cardinal. The Cardinal-Prefect is usually assited by a Secretary, who is usually an Archbishop. In turn, the Archbishop-Secretary is sometimes assisted by an Undersecretary, usually a Monsignor.
