The Jadewood Inquiry - OOC - Investigation.

Postby Auman » Mon Sep 28, 2009 1:57 am

Intent:

The intent of the Jadewood Inquiry is to roleplay the investigation into the events that transpired in this thread viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15394 Alliance politics will be forgone in preference for a small scale character roleplay, in which our characters will decipher the clues left behind by the battle. Testimonials from the commanders involved at all stages of the event, combined with physical evidence and combat data gathered from ships computers will lead us to a conclusion as to the events and context in which the battle took place.

So far, I feel that only representatives from Auman, The United Planets, Bavin and Trecdom should be involved in the inquiry. F799 is an unknown participant, as far as I'm aware and can't be contacted for further questioning and the events that transpired indicate that the pilot of the IG 2000 is not currently available for questioning. Participants will be invited to the Arcturan neighborhood of Jadewood in the city of Marakesh, all of their needs will be accounted for.

I want to stress that alliance politics should not be a factor. In fact, no politics will be considered at all. This is a pure investigation, the recommendations of the Inquiry will be used to punish those that are deemed worthy of it.

That is all.

EDIT:

This is the OOC thread for an IC thread that will be posted shortly.

Please refer to F799 as simply the Syndicate or the F799 Syndicate. F799 is simply the name of the primary planet under control of the Syndicate

OOC: Ty for setting this up Auman. Here's to it not going the way of the Arcturan summit.
Guide our souls to the Elysium Fields
Bear us home upon our shields
Lay coins across our brows, sound the bells
We're paying our fare on the river to Hell
And when our sons and mothers lay us upon the funeral pyre
Tell them we died Hellenic soldiers with our faces to the fire

I got hella distracted by sitcoms, so this is what you guys get. Hopefully the thread will get pretty in-depth as we progress. Remember, everyone went through security, shit loads of armed sheriffs, etc... We're roleplaying lawyers and investigators of all stripes here, so I hope there's no gun play.

Neither ship has any lawyers or investigators. I suppose the Thunderbolt could be carrying a small diplomatic team but other than that the Commanding Officers of Trecdom vessels are authorized to act as official representatives.

It's to be assumed this is taking place a couple of weeks, or even months, later on the Aumanii world of Arcturus... In the city of Jadewood. So, you guys pretty much send which ever character you want to participate in the thread.

Perhaps I can come up with a compromise.

Trecdom and F799 have an alliance with each other and thus we asked they send one representative to the inquiry. For the most part they are to act as an observer only answering direct questions.
