Thats how much we could go in atmosphere, but almost always we go at a slower speed. Also with impulse engines its possible to go 80% the speed of light easily. But with these engines on my UCSAVs its usually around and a little less than 2/3 light speed. Hey star treks shuttles can do this, why cant my fighters do the same.

Also my impulse engines our powered by red matter and therefore have limitless power and have no need for refueling, just a need to replenish torpedos.

Although if I had limitless energy, I could create limitless matter and so my spacecraft would be sending out missiles out of nowhere all day and all night... I see this going somewhere...

I still need reactors to serve as generators. I use pentium (four neutron isotope of hydrogen) in a fusion reactor. Cells around the reactor directly convert the heat created by the reactor into electricity. This electricity is sent into the drives which do the yadah yadah yadah.

Er... They aren't reactors... It is just that I get the fuel to react multiple times. When the elements are together, they are at a lower energy state. When they are in their separate and very easy to react form, they are in a higher energy state. I basically pump energy into it.

I always need ammo of some sort. Be it the twelve thousand ton slugs my battleships fire at .99c, or matter reserves for plasma torpedoes and particle beams.

Well, due to the mass-energy equivilence, I can turn energy into matter and antimatter and then shove the antimatter back into the black hole for energy in my generation 3 starfighters..

Well... I only have about 20 000 starfighters... and they are the backbone of my military...

On the other hand, your UCSAVs should beat my drone spacecraft. Autonomous and unmanned.

Mine are also Autonomous and unmanned with advanced A.I, although can be rometly piloted by my troops and actually piloted.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Cruisers or battlecruisers usually are the backbone, show-the-flag type ships. My navy's backbone is entered in the armory thread now. Since I have over forty-seven million of them, my fighters are cannon fodder in a ship-to-ship engagement.

Nation Name: The Eternal Sultanate of the Undying Prophet of the Twin Gods, typically shortened to the Eternal Sultanate or the Sultanate of Tamashk

Population: 2 Quadrillion

Government type: Officially, an Absolute Monarchy, with the Sultan (who is also the Undying Prophet) as the Sultanate's monarch and the prophet of its religion. In effect, the Sultan is little more than a figurehead, with the nation ran by the Council of Grand Viziers, who each control, at any one time, about a tenth of the actual Sultanate. Each tenth is home to a different branches, or intepretations, of Az, the State religion. The Grand Vizier is in charge of the whole of his realm, while the individual sectors are ruled by the Viziers, and the individual planetary fiefs are ruled by Askeri. In theory, the Grand Viziers are merely advisers to the Sultan and run the day-to-day operations. In practice, they are effectively independent rulers, and most of them hate each other.

Economy base: State run, automated, industrial goliath. Outward trade is very rare, as almost all resources go towards maintaining the expansive bureaucracy within.

Tech base: My own influenced from Star Gate/Warhammer 40k

Weapon types: Gauss weaponry from 40k, pulse/plasma weapons, ion weapons. The Tamashki are unsuited for combat, and war is not allowed within the Tamashki religion. Thus, most fighting is done by drones and Automatons, along with auxiliary races, with only a handful of Tamashki commanders controlling them all.

Area controlled: Equivalent of two galaxies. Claimed space equals 47,000 light years. Actually enforced claims come closer to 39,000-40,000.

Amount of habited planets: About 475,981. However, many of these are effectively 'dead' worlds, with no life on it but Automated machinery. Usually these are massive Forge Planets or Factory Planets.

Amount of claimed planets: Effectively 7 billion. Many have yet to be discovered or are uninhabitable, or are unreachable.

Navy size;
Capitol ships: 10,000
Frigates: 20,000
Bombers/starfighters: 30,000
Drones: 35 trillion. The entirety of the Celestial Navy is automated, as non-Tamashki races are forbidden to pilot or own ships, and Tamashki are ill-suited to space flight, and so must become cyborgs attached to the ship itself. The small amount of non-automated ships are internally, for many purposes.

Superweapons:
-Sultan's Damnation: An automated fleet of flying bombs detonate into the atmosphere of a planet, releasing their strange chemical payloads that interact with the atmosphere and rapidly cause it to dissipate, leaving the planet a barren rock.
-Sultan's Plague: A single rod is thrown into the atmosphere of the planet and breaks up, revealing a large population of self-replication nanobots programmed to replicate after consuming either the dominant species on the planet, or all biological life on the planet. Once the task has been completed, the nanobots simply deactivate, or begin consuming each other.
-Sultan's Mercy: A small population of nanobots are released into the atmosphere, programmed to consume all non-biological matter. First, all structures and technology are consumed, then all minerals and consumed, and then the planet and atmosphere are consumed. This is done until the planetary population either capitulates to the Sultanate's demands, they are all left floating corpses in space, or they surrender. The population is then made into slaves.
-Wrath of God: A series of automated, flying bombs are released near a target and explode in a burst of destructive force mimicking a supernova, destroying many planets all around. These are used the fewest times, as the bombs themselves are incredibly rare and the waste of planetary resources is a grave sin.

if anyone needs some kind of long-range communications or gateway tech... the AbH Empire is more interested in the trade and logistics side of things more than military presence...

so if I can sort out embassy stations and generally expand my own fleet and gate-network access to each of your own realms I'm more than willing to support galaxy-wide and inter-galactic transport and communications between you.

as for Tech... I'm more than happy with what I have and will most likely have trade delegations try to sort out and will probably be some RP situations that can be written up somewhere.

Although the Halo series is based on the Covenant(A alien race dominate on Plasma technology), and does not occur until PFT.

Take in mind that the galactic scientific convention takes place on the capitol of Hladgos once a decade. I really want to RP that, cause we can show off all of our techwanking insanity, or realism which will be smitten. Anyhow, where are you putting these universities, cause if you put em near Hladgos, you will find that some of our students dont take kindly to competition. I think we should have a sort of galactic capitol for scientific universities, and Borlaten-Krodan seems to be fitting the bill... It's a quadruple planet thing held together with supermassive spacebridges and is orbited by thousands of massive ships.

Well, Borlaten-Krodan was made by Hladgos over about a century to be the capitol using strictly our tech. We could always just add another planet or two with you guys... It would be the symbolic capitol of the milky way or something, either that or it would be the real one while farsight is the symbol.

Hladgos is probably going to turn Borlaten-Krodan into the symbolic capitol of the people of the milky way and stuff. We would basically open it to construction from all nations in the republic as a gift, though we would have to assess the functionality of some of the add ons. Also, we would have to approve of all of them first after simulating everything.
