ISPFQ Building A Massive Airfield; Military Analysts Alarmed
By: Dianne Cloyde
ST. IVALICE, ESALONIA-On June 14, 2015, Esalonian satellites passing over the region of PFQ have captured what seems to be an airfield being under construction in ISPFQ territory in Qandaristan. Many Esalonian military analysts and officers have been alarmed, stating that "the airfield, if completed, will cement the fate of Qandaristan in its battle against ISPFQ".
The airfield, codenamed "Biggie" by the Commonwealth Intelligence Group, is projected to be as large as the King Fahd International Airport, with four runways "large enough to accommodate one LY912 each", according to the CIG. The airfield is calculated to have a capacity of at least 2,000 fighter aircraft at most, but some sources claim higher capacities, even reaching 5,000 fighter aircraft. Rumors have abound that the slurry of images on a spot of land just (literally) a stone's throw from the airbase is an in-construction AESA radar dome.
"This airfield can change not only the tides of battle in Qandaristan in favor of the ISPFQ, but also change history, since if it is completed it will be larger than the King Fahd International Airport, with a record-breaking capacity of aircraft never seen before in history." the CIG Director says.
"It's vulnerable to an ICBM attack, in which if a nuclear weapon strikes the place, the entire thing goes boom, and millions of dollars flushed down the toilet in a fissionable way. Or better yet a Hellion battery, if you don't want the locals pouncing on you." Field Marshall Niegel of the 2nd Grand March says.
Only recently was it confirmed that Bendicion was involved in making the airfield. Rumors have spread that Bendian construction companies alongside Bendicion's equivalent to the Department of Defense are assisting the ISPFQ, a local terrorist organization, on constructing the airfield. "This stems from the 2014 Third Qandarian Civil War when Bendicion was supporting ISPFQ in its war, and now they are helping ISPFQ build its first airbase." a CIG operative said.
