The Yohannesian Crown Commonwealth Realms extend over 381,532,173 km2 in approximate total area as of the present, spread geopolitically in various continents and over thirteen regions; That of Adrastos, Ellorea, Gholgoth, Greater Dienstad, Irkalla, Minyang, Lucerna, Rushmore, Sapphire, Sondria, Tetrakon and Varathron, holding sway over 37.417 billion people within its supranational maritime and territorial border.
Contrary to various romanticised opinions, factual evidences compiled as of the past seven years has suggested and partly concluded that the Crown Commonwealth Realms' foundation was not that of an established strategic objectives and governmental precedence. Its beginning was that of a humble chapter; The establishment of Yohannesian commercial trading posts overseas throughout the late 17th and early 18th centuries, aided by its neighbouring Gothic nations' navigational skills in shipping and entrepreneurial drive in global trade.
Over the past 200 years, the Crown Commonwealth Realms has contributed to Yohannes' status as one of the world's various economic and political powers alongside the rank of its allied states; Automagfreek, Lamoni and Lyras to name just a few. During the late 17th up to early 18th centuries, Yohannes established its colonies in Adrastos, Lucerna and Sondria. Throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, Yohannes amalgamated its colonial empire, further annexing territories alongside Arumdaum Westwickport in Lucerna, Kylarnatian Varathron.
During the 20th century, His Yohannesian Majesty's Government consolidated its Crown Commonwealth Realms. The Crown Empire reached its peak by the beginning of the 21st century, acquiring Dukopion Kingsley in Greater Dienstad, Beatusian Roka in Minyang and voluntary membership in Drackonisian Tetrakon.

History
Multiple monarchs of the nineteen countries which as of the present comprises that of the Yohannesian Commonwealth's mainland in Gholgoth initiated various policies of expanding their respective countries' overseas trade; A significant influence of the neighbouring Gothic empires' wave of mercantilism. The Yohannesian countries' first colony was established in 1587 by the Kingdom of Lindblum at the Purushottama island in Adrastos (renamed as the Yohannesian colony of Hermansen the following year).
In 1600, the "Yohannesian Company for the Unknown Realms" was founded in the city of Ardenfontein. Its principle mission was two merchant fleets destined for the tropical lands within the region of Lucerna. There were a total of two fleets; The first started in March 1601 and returned in January 1602 with a bountiful cargo of spices. It easily covered twice the voyage's monetary cost. The second expedition, inspired by the initial first voyage, returned its financial direct investors with a profit exceeding that of 300% by approximation. Yohannesian historians commonly acknowledge the said event as the initial start, driving point of Yohannesian colonial expansion overseas.
Rivalry with the Milogradian Empire
In 1817, the Milogradian government passed the first of its merchantilist "Trade Exclusion Act" which excluded Yohannesian mercantile shipping from its lucrative trade in Adrastos and Sondria. It led directly to the outbreak of hostilities between the Milogradian and Yohannesian Empire. The war would be the first of two Milo-Yohannesian wars that would last inconsistently for three decades. The result was the eroding of both Milogradian and Yohannesian naval power throughout the first half of the 19th century. Although the Milogradian Empire strategically won and enforced an indefinite period of truce with the Yohannesian Government, the victory was proven to be temporary only in nature.
The second Milo-Yohannesian War started in 1831, with Kylarnatian and Yohannesian forces seizing the strategic initiative, capturing the capital of Milogradian Sondria by the following year. Under the Treaty of Ardenfontein (1832), Milogradian Sondria was ceded to Yohannes (administered by the Kylarnatian colonial government) in exchange for the Yohannesian settlements in Irkalla, which had been conquered by Milogradian forces since the start of the war. The regime change and subsequent shift of foreign policy course by the Milogradian Government throughout the 1860s ended the rivalry between the two Gothic empires.
Imperialism and Industrialisation
Throughout the middle and late 19th century, Yohannesian territorial possessions and economic hegemony were expanded in Tetrakon; The former more economically in the face of rival empires, whilst the latter consolidated in the form of Yohannesian colonial direct administration rule throughout Cosszka and Drackonisa.
Yohannesian Tetrakon has always been one of Yohannes' most valuable colonies overseas. Its gradual consolidation under Yohannesian direct (the presence of Yohannesian settlements) and indirect (states aligned with Yohannes) rule starting from the early 18th century (economically) up to the 19th century (governor-general direct administration) contributed heavily to the empire's economic share in interregional spice and cash crop trade. The colony's social order was based heavily on a systematic racial, rigid social structure with an exclusive white Yohannesian elite living at the native's expense.
As the Yohannesian Empire expanded its reach gradually into the interior of Cosszka and Drackonisa, the colonial administration assisted local states which aligned their respective governments with Yohannes, allowing for the gradual amalgamation of the present governing entities' rise to power and the establishment of a centralised and coherent nation-state, alongside the presence of a Yohannesian High Commissioner to represent the Yohannesian Crown within the two commonwealth dominions. Postal and telegraph services, railways, steamships and other Yohannesian agencies amalgamated and further consolidated Yohannesian rule across the region of Tetrakon.

Modern Era
As the 1950s drew to a close, the Yohannesian government initiated an aggressive spending-spree programmes overseas; one example of which was the land-lease acquisition of Beautusian Roka in Minyang and Ralkovian Ellorea. The financial capacity of Ralkovia to maintain its overseas colonies throughout the 20th century began to fade gradually. The then Yohannesian Government, under the leadership of the then High Lord Meint Max Peeters, moved in to fill the vacuum. Under the financial borrowing payment plan with that of the Yohannesian Government, Ralkovian Ellorea was handed towards the Yohannesian Crown & colonial administration. Yohannesian sovereignty of the area was recognised by its Gothic neighbours during the subsequent Lords of Gholgoth’s Round Table Conference. In December 1959, the colonies was handed towards the imperial administration of Tergnitz in exchange of its pledge to maintain Tergnitzian assistance and co-operation in combating piracies across Yohannes' scattered overseas territories.
The Commonwealth Empire
The Yohannesian Crown Commonwealth Realms, commonly referred to by overseas observers and governments as the Commonwealth Empire, is divided into two groups; The crown colonies and crown dominions. Crown colonies are politically contrasting and do acquire a different administrative-traits and characteristics in comparison to that of Crown dominions. Foreign political analysts have observed this divergent nature within the very vague fabric of the Commonwealth Empire itself; That of an independent group of alliance-like nationstates and that of proper Yohannes' direct overseas colonies which has none of the characteristics resembling that of a sovereign entity, completely dependent economically and militarily upon His Majesty's Government and the Yohannesian home island in Gholgoth.
The Governor-General of each Crown colony ruled without the existence of any de-facto check-and-balance limitation upon their administrative authority and power. As the sole representative of the Yohannesian Crown upon their respective domain, the Governor-General's power dictation is only limited, in the strictest sense of recognition, by population public opinion within their respective domain. In a contrasting situation, the representative of the Crown within each Dominion Realm (High Commissioner) has not the capacity to exercise legislative power nor act as head of state of the domain they are attached to, merely acting as "Crown Advisor" by constitution towards the de-jure dominion government.
Despite of certain rumours across the world's various corner, Yohannes by itself has never exercised a form of centralised, unitary administrative and political bureaucracy across the scattered realms, located as they were in countless overseas continents within ten regions. The concept of indirect rule, practised by some (mostly the successful) empires overseas already, has always been the staple bread of His Majesty's Government way of dealing with its countless colonies and dominions overseas. Yohannes' general policy has always been, ever since the hap-hazzard foundation of its administratively fragmented empire, the maintenance of native governments and/or institutions. The colonial administration then utilised these governments as a way of indirectly establishing its administration within its respective domain.
Allied governments of Yohannes, such as to name just two; That of the Harberian and Lamonian Government, has always wondered the reasoning behind why the Yohannesian home government, popularly referred to by various foreign colonial administrations and historians specialising in the subject of Yohannesian imperialism as simply "Ardenfontein" (Ardenfontein is the de-facto diplomatic and political capital of Yohannes), has never consolidated the home Government's administrative hold upon its overseas subjects. Quite simply put, HM Government has made clear that, ever since the foundation of Yohannes' first colony in Adrastos during the late 17th century, no significant administrative changes would be enforced upon the Crown Realms overseas, in the presence of a stable local culture and significant advanced indigenous society.
The Yohannesian Crown Commonwealth Realms are therefore not the product of pure territorial ambitions by itself, and in its present identity resemble more of an alliance-like collection of various separated colonies, dominions, dependent sovereignties, regimes and ultimately, that of mainland Yohannes. Simply put, the Commonwealth Empire is the first entity of its kind. It is a mixture of paradoxes; That of democracy and empire, and a sense of insubordinated obligation to Mother Yohannes.
Crown Realms
This list gives a brief overview of the various crown dominions, voluntary associated states, colonies, suzerainties, dependent territories and trading posts that are, as of the present, amalgamated as an integral part of the Yohannesian Crown Commonwealth Realms, and supranationally connected with that of the Yohannesian home island in Gholgoth. Collectively, these territories are commonly referred to overseas as the Crown Commonwealth Realms and Crown Dependent Territories.
- Crown Adrastos Realm:
- Yohannesian Adrastos refers to Yohannesian crown paramountcy, rule and territorial sphere of influence across the region of eastern Adrastos. It includes areas directly administered by the Commonwealth, officially known as Yohannesian Crown Colonies, as well as native Adrastosian principalities ruled by its contemporary rulers under the military protection and economic suzerainty of the Yohannesian government. It was governed as a confederacy without the presence of a strong centralised administration, until the 1910 reform which transformed the Yohannesian Adrastos as a loose federation with one central administration, under the official name of the Korrapati Empire.
The Korrapati Empire amalgamated two of Yohannes' separated crown colonies; that of Ramachandra and the Mohinder Island, with that of the eighteen native Adrastosian principalities under a single imperial administration, which in turn is insubordinated under the suzerainty of the nineteen countries in Gholgoth. Yohannesian Korrapat has strong tie with that of Fenestra to the south; a neighbouring colonial realm of Lamoni. - Crown Dienstad Realm:
- The Crown Dienstad Realm is a Yohannesian dependent territory in Greater Dienstad. Its acquisition was formalised in the Duko-Yohannesian 2012 Cessation Treaty by which the government of the newly independent nation of Dukopolious granted control of Dienstadi Kingsley in exchange of financial contribution and investment agreement from the Yohannesian Crown.
- Crown Ellorea Realm:
- The Crown Ellorea Realm is mostly amalgamated under the jurisdiction of the Crown dominion of Trivval in Ellorea. Trivval is a land-locked crown dominion and a theocratic state, with day-to-day administration and management solely conducted by the native people. The Governor-General Sir Melville Winfield (His Excellency) is the present Yohannesian High Commissioner of the Crown Ellorea Realm.
- Crown Gholgoth Realm:
- The Crown Gholgoth Realm exclude the home island of Yohannes in Gholgoth itself, and is primarily dominated by the associated dominion state of Kylarnatia, bordering Sambizie to the north, Crimmond to the south across the Kylarnatian strait, Schultaria Prime to the west and Vetalia to the east. The Governor-General Lord Frederik de Boer (His Excellency) is the present Yohannesian High Commissioner of the Crown Gholgoth Realm.
- Crown Irkalla Realm
- The Crown Irkala Realm is an imperial city and colony within Yohannesian Pudu, located in the region of Irkalla. It was formed from the nationalisation of the Bundesbank Irkalia Company, acquired on behalf of HM Government and the Crown in 1939.

within the nine major regions. - Crown Lucerna Realm
- Yohannesian settlers of aristocratic origins established settlements and colonies throughout the late 17th century in coastal parts of central Lucerna, now commonly known as the Yohannesian colonial island of Westwickport. During the late 18th century, Westwickport was also a Yohannesian outpost for cotton, silk and spices with that of nations within the region of Lucerna.
- Crown Minyang Realm
- On March 2003, Edwardo Listless representing the Theocratic Beatusian Government, signed the Beatusian Land-Lease Agreement. It formalised the cession of Roka in Minyang, its harbour and surrounding territory to His Majesty's Government. The Yohannesian Imperial Flag was raised the following month in Roka, and Governor-General Dederick Ralf Breckenridge, commander-in-chief and the highest representative of His Yohannesian Majesty in The Beatus, took formal possession of the territory at the suburb of Gwateng.
- Crown Rushmore Realm
- Crown Sapphire Realm
- [OoC: Under construction]
- Crown Sondria Realm
- In 1804 Hubert Kappel established a trading station in the Kylarnatian realm of Sondria to accomodate the existing commercial treaty and trade agreement with the Kylarnatian Tsar. As of the present, the Crown Sondria Realm is one of Yohannes' least prosperous colonies, with a social hierarchy dominated by its elite white Yohannesian cash crop farmers, at the expense of the natives.
- Crown Tetrakon Realm
- Yohannesian Tetrakon refers to Yohannesian crown paramountcy, rule and territorial sphere of influence across Tetrakon. It includes areas directly administered by the Commonwealth, as well as native states ruled by its contemporary governments under the frame of Crown dominionship, that of Cosszka in northeast Tetrakon and Drackonisa in central Tetrakon. The Governor-General Dame Kristín Lilja Ármannsson (Her Excellency) is the present Yohannesian High Commissioner of the Crown Tetrakon Realm.
- Crown Varathron Realm
- Yohannes' most well-known colonial coastal city and trading port within the northern hemisphere, the Crown Realm of Salisbury in Kylarnatian Varathron connect Yohannesian commercial and trading routes towards various nations in Greater Dienstad, Ellorea, Irkalla and Nova.
