Synopsis:
A shadow is emanating in the east, dark rumors have been circulating in inns, villages, and caravans far and wide. Talk of warlocks and monsters haunting the isles far east of civilized culture in the oceans near the edge of the world. Maidens disappearing, caravans mascaraed and villages disappearing off the map. There is unrest in the world of the east an inauspicious sign of tidings to come.
The free cities of the east have been haunted by these omens, they are fearful for their people, wealth, and for the freedom of their states. They do not have the the Heroes or men brave or strong enough to investigate and eliminate whatever threat dwells in the isle of the east. They have sent riders to every corner of the known work requesting aid from the realms of Ceaden. They offer gold in return for men to go to the isle of the east and quell these dark apparitions. They do not know what is to be expected only that the bravest of men must be drafted to take on such a quest.
Those who accept the call of the free cities are bid to come to the hall of Zotan in the mountains of the eastern second continent. There the Viscount of Zotan will address those men who wish to take up his quest. He offers 10,000 Credits to those men who show up to his hall, and 300,000 in total to be split among those who complete the quest.
The Isle of the East is a dark place that few dare to tread. It has no known inhabitants, it is a dead place. Many say that it is cursed land fulled of Daemons and those dead who were not worthy of an afterlife. That being said the peoples of the free cities and lands refuse to take on the quest themselves. That is why they call on you.
Who will take up the call? For Glory? Wealth? Adventure?
Quest Criteria:
-100 STR limit on all forces each realm intends to send.
-At least one hero must be present in the company of men sent.
-Quest participants are to call on the Hall of Zotan at the beginning of the quest to receive their mission from the Viscount.
-NO Flying units.
Guidelines:
Quests will be a majority story telling and part battling using the battle engine. The quest master, in this case Achesia will give the participants prompts and choices as to how they wish to complete the quest. Participants make work together, not, or against other participants. It is all up to the player. Quest maps will be given to the players to give them an idea of their direction. Several objectives will lay in their path before they reach the final objective and thus the completion of the quest. As stated above there is a 10,000 Credit reward for accepting the quest and a 300,000 credit reward to be split between the surviving players at the end. When I say surviving I do mean that the men you send on this quest can die and thus their equipment and resources lost unless you have someone who survives to carry it all. You may depart from participating in the quest at any time but this must be RPed and a IC reason must be given. Normal deployment costs for troops apply.
