Along the Fal shian border with Davatria, Fal shian immigrants and tourists were forced to kneel, with hands behind their head, facing their homeland. Behind them, Dominion troopers pointed their weapons to the back of the hostages' heads.

One wrong move, and 895,000 people would die.

On the other side of the country, a La'rua of Fire Warriors, in stealth black armour, armed with the new Fal'shia Technology RX-16 Anti-Personnel Rail Rifles moved towards their objective. At the current moment, they were nestled in the saddle of two hills. On their belts where energy packs for their primary weapons, with each warrior in the group of four also wearing a PX-06 Compact Utility Pulse Pistol by their sides. Seven other such squads were located around them, all heading towards the same target, but separated to avoid detection. This mission was of utter importance. If Old North Fish would not surrender straight away, then this mission, OPERATION: Fio'tak would bring a swift end to the war if it was to begin. The word for the beginning of the operation would come from Commander Soulblade himself, this was that important. Thankfully, such a huge mission would not be done without support available if all hell were to break loose. 100 Vespid Stingwings were behind the hills, each with an EX-16VSP Neutron Blaster, the traditional Vespid weapon of choice. Behind them were Gue'la's, in 10 Leman Russ Battle Tanks. The mission would not fail. The squads crouched low, waiting for the order....

Scoffing at the Emperor's carelessness and lax security, Don'Ald T'Rump fired the fatal shot, blowing Menethos' brains out and reducing his head to a cloud of red vapor. Withdrawing, T'Rump slid into the shadows.

The King slowly stepped out onto the main assembling balcony of Palace Providence.
He nodded grimly to Cnl. Dennesleigh, the agreed signal. Almost immediately, 1,000 heavy cannons fired into the distance and the sky was then filled with diplomacy planes each carrying a taut wire connected to a large white giant canvas. WE SURRENDER, came Dennesleigh's smooth voice over the wireless audio system, the words ringing loud and clear, blaring from all the massive cloud of planes...it was time for their victory parade to begin, murmured Quinmil to himself as he 'calmly' walked back inside. He wasn't called 'controlled' for nothing...?!

Mark Schneider switched on the old, dusty VCR, showing the other members of the Revolution the footage he recorded off the TV earlier this morning.

This is Simon Monteferrat reporting live to the entire dominion! Our most glorious Holy Emperor, Paladin Menethos, is dead! An assassion seems to have shot him in the back of his head as he paraded down the Fal'shian Capital!

Although this event in itself is already quite disturbing and sad, even more disturbing is the fact that the Interstellar Imperium has no heir! The Conclave is having a meeting now to decide what will happen next, as the Imperial Commission studies the Emperor's Family Tree.

He switched off the TV and addressed his fellow Revolutionaries.

"Now is the time to strike. We will strike down the Aristocracy and Purge this nation. It is now time for the common man to stand up for his own! Let there be a Revolution!"

The Communist Revolution had begun.

POSTING AS COMMUNIST REVOLUTIONARIES

Varnathox had fallen to the rising masses, and all were rejoicing. It was the rise of the "People's Republic". Shcneider smirked at the irony of the name. All they had done was remove one tyrant for another.... except those stupid fools had willingly done it.

He looked up at the sky. The rest of the Interstellar Imperium at Reach would soon be notified of the Revolution. And then, they would come for them. Some diplomatic finesse was needed here to ensure that the "People's Republic" didn't fall back into Monarchist hands.

The Crimson Standard had long been the symbol of the communist movement. A banner the color of fresh crimson blood, of malevolent intent. Now the flag of the Fifth Dominion flew the color of the 'people'. Francis pondered this new development. A revolution was never good news; in monarchies or non-communist countries such as Iievius, activists tended to get ideas and become much bolder. Of course, the Iievian people knew where to stop. However, the major problem here was the matter of the Fifth Dominion's alliance with Iievius. The bond of friendship had been established with years of negotiation, several political marriages, and more than one war. With the rise of Schneider, each of these long years spent gathering allies had been lost. Now, Iievius needed friends- it needed an alliance. But first, the matter of Old North Fish. The nation continued to defy international law. Even after their betrayal of common morals and inability to fill the debt, they continued to antagonize Iievius. Iievius would now declare ultimatum. The people did not want war; though it was inevitably on the horizon with the Fifth's new red banner, for now their declaration to Old North Fish will be this; should they continue to defy the act of common law, then trade will cease with Old North Fish, especially in areas such as machinery and basic manufactured products in which ONF lacked strong industries.

OC: Iievius declares it's refusal of the new map by Old North Fish. It is clearly made towards the advantage of several players and in such a manner that Old North Fish controls all aspects of nation placement, disregarding national views. I suggest a third person not affiliated with this group construct a map, taking into account national preferences. Personally, I believe the original Emperor's Harem map was well balanced and that there is no need for a change in maps. However, with the move in regions, etc. a new map is needed. Therefore, please suggest neutral and willing players that will construct a map.

Field Marshal Arthur Wellesly sighed. He felt so safe on Planet Reach. A Planet surround by 300 Orbital Defence Cannons, and orbited by 14 Fleets of warships. However, back on the Homeworld, the Emperor had been killed and a new Republic had arisen.

Civil War had broken out.

Immediately, the forces stationed on Reach prepared for an invasion of their own territory.

OOC: I think the new map is fine. Iievius is mainly stationed in the Polaris System anyway so what if your puny little foothold at home is surrounded? Look at Fifth he doesn't care because he's on Reach. BTW is Izsha a major nation? You haven't coloured it in.

Yes of course, Izsha is, indeed, a major nation - I just haven't coloured it in because then it would look too much like an island.

The starships floated serenely as the planet fell away beneath them. Each was an imposing figure; the new Atlasi were the largest operating transports in existence, each the size of the smaller home-world cities, fitting and feeding up to 650,000 full grown men and women in it's gigantic, labyrinthine interiors, named after the god who could even carry a world on his shoulders, Atlas. Suddenly, bolts of light shot up and around the huge carriers before they slowed and simply followed the fleet as escorts. These were the upgraded fighter ships, a new model based off the older Phalanx and Barrage models. Named the 'Lance' fighters, they lived up to their name; rather than acting as an effective defense based force, these were engineered to make the pinpoint precision strikes that could drive a sharp spearhead of destructive force deep within the enemy lines. A larger ship floated ahead of the entire fleet, and similar ships guarded the left, right and rear. These were also a new model, of command ship; each was equipped with the multiple gun turrets that gave the command ships their fame, and the one other infamous gun. The oversized, overpowered and frankly, overkill Xacam laser discharger had become notorious for being slow to charge, slow to fire, and also for being a portable Orbital Weapons Platform that could glass an ice planet. Each of these new command ships were armed with a sleek, slim and highly polished Xacams; except these were entirely different. Though only able to pack half the punch of the original unwieldy support based gun, these made up for it by firing at a quarter of the speed, charging and firing within 4.36 minutes. Though still slow, this marked a major development in Iievian laser weaponry. The new command ships were named the Crusaders. Around these huge ships flocked small, tiny in comparison, interceptors, each whizzing around for a test drive in the new ships. Contrary to the original Strykers, which were one man ships, the new Storm interceptors were two-men craft. In this way they could still maneuver with maximum speed and flexibility without having to sacrifice their aim or attention on other aspects of the battle. Though the second man and the extra equipment added some extra size to the craft; weight didn't matter, for they were in space- the new engines with their high-grade Fleminium quadcore-generators and the top of the line propulsor system ensured that the added speed would be enough to manage the larger target, which was still tiny. This was the Second Iievian New Military Space Fleet; one of three new fleets that ensured the safety of Iievians whether they lived on Charus or on Hilltop Island. Pinpricks of light gathered around the ships and they seemed to... disappear. Their destination? Aerinoth, where they would combat the fleet of the dictatorial 'communist' menace. People's Republic? Bah. They spent more time being owned by greed and sin than being owned by the people.

PS: There's about 60 Atlasi in that fleet, and each one only requires about 5 full time crew members when carrying Space Marines or soldiers who can help maintain the ship. Do the maths. Bye Bye Island! Hello Crater!

This means you are now a part of the Tau Empire. As such, Fal'shia, you might want him to put a symbol of his subservience to you on his flag? Something like a Fal'shia flag in the corner... The newly commissioned 15th Fleet had entered hyperspace to the Homeworld to put down the rebellion. Admiral Vosknocker was confused. Since when was there a 15th Fleet? Why was he never informed of this? The 15th Fleet was so secretive that virtually no-one out of High Command new about it.

And Vosknocker only had a vague idea.

Suddenly his watch beeped. it was time for the 6th, 9th and 11th Fleets to follow suit.

[Iievius]

O.o The plot thickens... A secret fleet. Wait, they won't be like my ASCOU, will they? No copy!

IC: The Iievian starships ported into high orbit with the dawn. Quickly the ships suddenly became a hive of bustling activity. After they had entered Earth orbit, it would be around two hours before they first circled over to hover above Fifth Dominion Island. It was crucial that everything was in working condition by then, as they would send out their fist scout drones. A modified version of the more aggressive kamikaze Creepers, these drones were small unmanned pods around the size of a human fist that would map the area by producing a hologram replica for later viewing, and could also be used as remote cameras in manual operation. After the half hour where they would be orbiting over Fifth Dominion Island, then they would begin preparation to attack after they rendezvoused with the Fifth Dominion Loyalists. However, one question remained to be answered. Without an Emperor or heir, who would inherit the Interstellar Imperium?

LOYALISTS

The 15th Fleet warped back into normal space. However, at first glance it would appear as if there was no Fleet.

This was because the whole Fleet was dwarfed by the large Planetoid floating in its midst.

The Grand Citadel: the new Capital of the Interstellar Imperium.

The Citadel was composed of a series of perfectly circular platforms arranged in a spiral along a central rod. These platforms decreased in size toward either end of the rod, with the widest central one being approximately 5,000 kilometers in diameter. Each platform was covered with a city of structures and buildings, whose gravity was controlled individually by buffer fields.

The Citadel had multiple point defense weaponry, but in the event of a large-scale attack, the Citadel could rotate its sections to assume a spherical shape, thus protecting the structures atop each platform from damage. It also possessed powerful energy shields and a main cannon, as well as a glassing beam.

Around the Citadel was the largest Fleet ever assembled in Imperium history. 1,000 vessels of various classifications orbited and patrolled the area around the Citadel, backed up by its motion sensors monitored by AI. The Citadel also housed hangars and drydocks for the Defence Fleet.

The Iievian pilots were in awe at the humungous, flying citadel. A city in the sky? A city in space? Sure, the Iievians had a space station the size of a large town that hosted a few thousand people, but... the Fifth Dominion had achieved something amazing. Vice Admiral Joseph Kisavus waved his gloved hand at the communications officer nearby. Immediately the younger man began dialing into the communicator as they began their contact with the Fifth Dominion's 15th Fleet. Hopefully, working together, they could take down the usurpers quickly.

"For Counter-Revolutionary Activities, you are hereby sentenced to death!"

The Butcher of Ostagar had been brought to justice three weeks ago. After extensive torture, the Butcher had confessed to his crimes, and was now facing a firing squad.

Schneider smiled. "That'll teach you to overprice your meat...."

He looked up and noticed a moon-like object in the sky..... except it wasn't even remotely spherical.

He shrugged and lit up his cigarette as the squad opened fire.

He must've been going high or something. He must be seeing things. Then whistling, he walked away.
