Operation Ryūketsu Jigoku (CLOSED, ATTN Symphonia + TGed 1s)

THIS IS A RECALL FROM THE GREAT ASIAN WAR, ALSO KNOWN TO US, AS THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR OF JAPAN.... WE INVADE SYMPHONIA...
Hokkaido

Upon receiving news of Symphonia's plans to invade Hokkaido, orders were given out. Soon, sirens were ringing eveywhere, with ground troops all 780,000 troops, gathering in position, to defend Hokkaido. In addition, half of the Panzerkamph Imperial Japanese Guard, was also deployed, as mechanized/armoured infantry forces they were, to defend the island, while the other half, was brough out from hiding, patrolling Kyushu, anticipating an invasion there as well. In addition, air defences, as well as ABMs, were being readied, while coastal guns, as well as flaks, were prepared. Aircraft were also scrambled in massive numbers, to patrol the Hokkaido airspace, in case of a Symphonian assault. In addition, the naval forces around Hokkaido, massed up around the island, in preparation for the possible naval engagement with AFN naval forces.

All vessels, had their weapons at the ready, with powerful, hard to penetrate, defences, capable of smashing hard at anything coming within firing range. In addition, over 35% civilians of Hokkaido, with 120,000 troops, were evacuated with absolute success, into Isolated China, for use, later on, in this war. At sea, all Hokkaido fleets, were assembled, to foil AFN's plans of a Hokkaido front. The Admiral HIH Prince Fushimi Hiroyasu of 151 warships, famed WWII Admiral, saw as the AFN naval group, began to gather, off the Hokkaido coast. On ground, in Hokkaido, the enemy missiles, were swiftly delt with, as the bases scrambled their kinetic anti-missile in general defences.

Thousands of kinetic weapons flew in the air, blowing to shreds a big portion of what the Symphonians had launched. At Hakodate, the AEGIS cruisers, as well as destroyers, open fired their own hypersonic defences, launching a flurry of missiles, blowing down most of the Symphonian missile shot at Hakodate. On all fronts, most enemy missiles were shot down, with only a small portion reaching their intended targets while causing some damage to a couple of missile silos, yet not enough to disable them. Most of the Panzerkamph Imperial Japanese Guard, was reallocated to Hokkaido, to face the enemy. The other half, was deployed to Kyushu, with 800,000 other troops, to face the AFN possibility of invasion there. In addition, somehow, Jailpur has unblocked Japan, giving the Empire an extra boost of weapons, which were all deployed to Hokkaido's Defence. The Japanese were pleased to see that everything was falling into perfect planning...

In Hokkaido, Field Marshal Yamazuki no Masushiro, began to read his Order of Battle, as we speak:

Civilian Defence Militia
230,000 Guerrilla Civilian Fanatical Troops
4,000 mortars
1,000 Improvised tanks
These forces were all being mobilized out of their hiding with tonnes of troops being pulled out. Civilians were rapidly gathering their plans of defence, reading maps of their island, while making improvised tanks, to use against the AFN. In addition, they were handed over a bunch of recycled material, as well as metal they collected from their neighbours to make mortars as well as shells. All over Hokkaido's beaches, land mines, claymores, spikes, IEDs, kinetic explosives, coastal batteries, SAM sites, as well as EFP launchers, were deployed around the beaches. In the waters around Hokkaido, sea mines, depth charges, as well as all sorts of deadly traps, cluttered the waters, making it the densest trap area ever. If the enemy tried to enter, these traps would automatically explode, setting ablaze an entire enemy fleet SHOULD THEY COME THERE. Japan was resorting to cruel, ruthless measures, as well as unconventional warfare, to regain the fortunes of victory.

In the ocean, Hokkaido's missile silos, fired 3 more ICBMs, non-nuclear yet still as damagingly powerful as if they were this time, also, this time, into the heart of the Symphonian fleets gathered around Hokkaido. The plan this time was to disperse the Symphonian fleet up North, to throw them into a dangerous situation. A salvo of 500 more kinetic cruise missiles, combined with 300 kinetic anti-ship missiles, as well as 120 Chinese carrier killers, were launched, headed for the Symphonian targets. At the incoming enemy fighters, 260 infrared missiles, were launched from their silos in Hokkaido, headed to attack the enemy F-35s. At the same time, the entire Hokkaido air forces, were scrambled, soon finding themselves, in the air, to combat the Symphonian crafts, deploying their weapons, activating their chaffs, jamming enemy radar, while using ECM tactics as well as sensor fooling, to fool the enemy into severe traps. The massive force of Zeroes, also took off, to engage the Symphonians.

Kyushu & Ryukyu Islands

Around those islands, Japanese plans of defence were quickly prepared. Upon receiving news of Symphonian planned invasion, forces in the area were quickly brought to the field:

Civilian Militia
400,000 civilian guerrillas
Troops on ground were massed up for mobilization, put on high alert, yet ordered to remain in their secluded locations. Only the civilian guerrillas would fight on ground for now. Air bases, rapidly scrambled their aircraft, getting the AWACS as well as EWSs in the air first, then the rest soon followed. At sea, all the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th Imperial Fleets would soon appear on their way. For now, only the 4th as well as 9th Imperial fleets, were mobilized around Kyushu as well as Ryukyu Islands. However, should the rest arrive, the enemy would get a glimpse of what it means to be part of the Imperial Sino-Japanese Navy. Japan authorized the construction of UBOATs, to use as the naval version of Zeroes, for suicidal decoy operations. This, would cause heavy trouble to the Symphonians. In addition, Japan, sent 100 more UBOATs somewhere else, at sea, to bombard Symphonian commercial shipping, as well as civilian ships, to cripple them. The wolf packs have returned.

In addition, around Kyushu as well as Ryukyu beaches, including Okinawa + Guam, land mines, claymores, IEDs, EFP explosives, coastal massive batteries, SAM coastal sites, coastal AA systems, coastal ABM systems, as well as spikes on the sand dunes, with some biological + chemical IED explosives filled with Mother Virus, or Red Plague, were put all over the beaches, as traps, against the impending Symphonian invasion. In case the biochemical weapons would be set off, Japanese troops, as well as all civilians on the mainland, put on their NBC suits, as well as airtight clothing + masks as well as oxygen tanks on the ready, should they need it, when they set off the trap, without warning on any Symphonian that would even dare charge ashore. At sea, around, in the waters, were densely packed with sea mines, depth charges, EFPs, as well as other sorts of traps at sea, would explode at the slightest sign of an enemy ship passing through. Japan was deadly, as well as she was efficient in her unconventional warfare...

Kyoto Bunker...

In the Underground Nuclear Military HQ or the Reich Bunker in Kyoto, the Imperial Sino-Japanese Military Command, began making plans for war with Symphonia. Their recent attacks on Hokkaido were inacceptable. The Imperial Sino-Japanese Naval Fleets made a simple request for evacuating civilians to an ally, yet it was blatantly denied, followed by an all out naval assault on Hokkaido. Symphonian forces also prepared a plan to attack the Kyushu Island, as well as Ryukyu Islands. Yet the Japanese already mounted an impregnable defence, one that would easily bring an end as well as foil the Symphonian invasion. Also, the plan, was to invade Symphonia itself. Yes, the plan was to invade them, to strike a defeaning blow in the hearts of their people, to make the pay for their war on Japan. It was time, time for the greatest naval assault in Japanese history. Time, for war...

The Emperor of Japan, was in Noravea, for political reasons, so, he could only attend the meeting by phone. Those part of the invasion plan, convened. General Li Kong Sinjiang, a Chinese Commander, a man, whom celebrates the Chinese/Japanese Imperial Union, with Air Marshal Kaesong Jinwaek Sojeonsu von Klautzewitz (a German/North Korean), as well as Admiral Vuong Dong Lai (a Vietnamese in the ISJN), along with their subordinate officers, convened a meeting. With them, was Uchiha Madara, whom had just returned from IndependentCanada, after talking with their Prime Minister Lucien Willbanks.

The meeting almost immediately began, with the Emperor being placed on the wireless connection, with his bluetooth, while the rest in the room, opened up a situation computer satellite generate image of Symphonia. The Order of War was also placed unto the screen:

TOTAL PERSONNEL: 934,965 troops
Once these plans were carefully laid out, the meeting began,

"General, I wish to give you a clear understanding of Symphonian beach assault. Beach Alpha, is the main assault force. We invade, most of our mechanized/armoured infantry forces shall land there, with about 507,000 troops. Beach Beta/Bravo, is where we shall land the samurai forces, to use as a demoralizing effect on the enemy. Beach Delta, is where the air forces shall have an air field built there, to land aircraft, filled with an additional 50,000 paratroopers, later on. Beach Hell, is where 180,000 of the remaining unmentioned forces in the invasion, shall launch their own amphibious assault, then land as Special forces, to assault behind enemy lines. We shall wage unconventional warfare, guerrilla warfare, as well as conventional tactics. We shall have depleted uranium, kinetic rounds, as well as thermobaric rounds, + phasing rounds, deployed in our mechanized/armoured infantry forces. In addition, our air forces assigned for this invasion, shall launch a brutal bombardment of Symphonia, as well as attack their ships, raid their cities, plunge them into a bad situation. We must also attack targets of economic significance. In addition, naval as well as aerial strikes, shall provide covering fire, to the the troops invading ashore." the Emperor said, over the connection.

"My lord, may I suggest one more thing? We need war bonds, as well as massive printing of our currency, while adjusting it to Soviet standards, or we will not be able to spend that much in this war. In addition, we need to go into guerrilla warfare to secure victory, more easily. I am also an ardent supporter of a blitzkrieg offensive. In addition, may I suggest something, a bloody hell suggestion?" he said,

"Very well, mumble it to me, over the phone," the Emperor said,

The General went on then on then on about his plans to invade Symphonia as well as how it should be done, to succeed. Numbers were not as important as strategy, nor was quality of weaponry. Although Japan had both these things, it had still the need to compensate for Symphonia's bigger might. So, several plans were brought up before the Emperor's eyes...

"Very well, wakaterru. Shikashi, Air Marshal, you know what to do, do you?" the Emperor said,

"Geu reo seum ni dae! Jawohl! Da Kommandir! I must launch a coordinated aerial assault, in line with the naval pounding of the enemy, provide aerial cover for the invasion, as well as strike the Symphonian homeland, to cripple it." the Air Marshal replied.

Then, the Admiral assigned for this war, spoke,

"I see. We must launch a naval assault, striking important enemy coastal targets. However, other than that, should it be an easy strike, considering the beachead to be a desert? Little to no enemy troops would lie in wait for that long, without dying of de-hydration. We will come, yet, the nearby cities MUST be captured. It is imperative to do so, my Emperor."

The Emperor, on the other side of the line, in Noravea, speaking through his bluetooth, scratched his chin for a while, then played with his hair. After some time, he responded,

"Wakaranai. Indeed, Cadia, Seris, Ressurection, Skyview, West Genevira, shall all be a priority. We need to secure the mountainous region, as well as the nearby forest. We must also get our patrol boats into the river areas, to gain green water supremacy. We need the rivers, to feed the thirst of our troops. Very well. Any suggestion on the war plan's name?" the Emperor asked,

"This is going to be a bloody hell of a war, Jianggun." said the Chinese general, smiling a military grin.

"Ah, sounds good. This needs to be remembered. It will also be indeed a bloody hell of a war. So, we shall call this, Operation Ryūketsu Jigoku." the Emperor said, while emiting an evil grin.

"Hai! Wakarimashita!" the meeting room unamiously said, followed by, "Tenno Heika no O Kami Samurai, Banzai, Banzai, Banzai! HUO!!!" then the meeting was dismissed, with everyone going their separate ways.

Gathering the invasion force for war...

At the same time, General Li Kong Sinjiang, a Chinese Commander, of the Imperial Sino-Japanese Army, began plans to invade Symphonia. He mass conscripted troops, trained them, then gave them weapons. He also, made them into fanatic, killing machines, that certainly will not retreat that easily. He gathered his forces, while reading his

His plan was simple. The people, after purchasing so much war bonds, as well as Japan printing massive amounts of currency, backing it up with gold, or taking Soviet style measures (forcing a set exchange rate of 1 USD = 2.02 Yen), while militarizing the currency, these measures, made Japan's war economy even stronger. In addition, the Japanese military industry, was ordered to mass produce all Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Russian, German made domestic weapons, en masse, to make the homeland 100% secure, as well as increase the power of Honshu. In addition, mass conscription was implemented as well, with over 6 million new troops being recently enlisted overall so far. These were being trained in the samurai harsh strict programme, to turn them into fanatical killing machines. They would soon join the ranks of everyone else in the fighting. In addition, the mass money given to Japan free of charge, by a generous donor of Mewsland, was being put into both military spending as well as economic spending. The goal was to expand the war economy, as well as the normal economy, investing enough money into it, to boost it further, while spending into the military to boost military might. He smiled at the Emperor's brilliant plan.

Massive amounts of lorries (trucks), as well as columns of mechanized/armoured vehicles, with parading troops, in all their glory, headed into their transport ships. The pilots, scrambled for their aircraft, took off, either to go into their carriers, or the longer range planes, flew straight away for Symphonia. The naval forces, were being assembled, with sailors doing their good byes, while entering their ships. The hatches of the submarines, closed up, then they submerged into the deep blue sea, while the navy soon followed. The General smiles, as He gathered his troops, then, they set sail from Miyazaki, to be headed for the Symphonian homeland, for the invasion to begin. They would arrive, in 3 days time...

Off the coast of Symphonia, long time later, after 3 days of sailing...at an empty beach landing area, Kanato Desert beach-head, Symphonia....

South Britannian Channel...Beach Alpha...Beach Bravo...Beach Hell...

Sino-Japanese forces made their way down the channel, approaching land, after leaving the Sea of Evedium. In addition, they finally caugh up with the air forces, regrouping together as a large force, ready to mount the full scale military offensive. It has finally begun. The war was on....

General Li Kong Sinjiang's forces, made their way, slowly approaching the Symphonian coast. The General, spoke,

"Men, this is a time of glory! A time when Symphonia, will pay for insulting our Empire! Our nation was the result of Chinese as well as Japanese, merging together, for one purpose, to create a powerful Pan-Asian empire, that would span the globe, bringing all man together. They will pay, these Symphonians, for their cowardly attempts on Hokkaido! They shall pay! We attack now, men! Tadakai!" he said

"HUO!!!!!!!!!!" the war cry rang the air, then followed by a, "Tenno Heika no O Kami Samurai Banzai, Banzai, Banzai!" roar.

Everything was in place, thus, the main offensive began. The Imperial Sino-Japanese Air Forces assigned for this task, flew off of their carriers, as well as from land nearby, to begin a massive air raid, on any Symphonian ship in the area, or to launch an air raid, on the Symphonian lands.

"You will strike their bloody lands. You will burn their crops. You will destroy their economy. Tora, tora, tora!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the instructor said, as the pilots swooped down, over Symphonian territory.

Landing crafts, were soon getting within range of shore, with their doors slamming open, with troops getting out, for preparation of the charging ahead. At sea, the naval forces, open fired, unleashing a torrent of missiles, shells, as well as machine gun fire, over the enemy. The invasion, was soon to begin. First, however, came the naval as well as air strikes. Then, the land strike would soon begin...

Flying From Vietnam, arriving from Sea of Evedium, soon, beach delta...beach hell...
The Emperor of Japan, also promised the arrival of paratroopers, numbering the 50,000s; as well as a massive fleet of WWII era UBOATs, refitted with modern weapons, yet still cheap + easy to make, so 250 of these submarines, slowly made their way through the Sea of Evedium, beginning to home in on commerical shipping targets, attacking in wolf-pack formations.

Somewhere else, off of Vietnam, a massive force of 280 transport planes, armed to the teeth, flew off, headed for Beach Delta...

In addition, from the Hong Kong port, a fleet of heavily armed, strongly armoured metallic Chinese junk ships, moved out, transporting 180,000 guerrilla troops, to mount unconventional war against Symphonia...Noravea, has also agreed to lend a force of 60,000 volunteers to Japan, to aid in the conflict...soon, these forces shall arrive, as well...

The war was on, Operation Ryūketsu Jigoku has BEGUN...In the meantime, in Madagascar, a force of 56 Tu-200 Strategic Supersonic Long Range Heavy Bomber/Gunships designed by Tupolev-Mitsubishi branch of the People's Military Weapons Production Directorate, each carrying up to 77,000 kg in payload, were being readied for takeoff later on in the war, to commence strategic carpet bombing runs of Symphonia...

OOC: This is a war between me + Symphonia only. However, as I might need help, I will call on several more nations. You might have received the telegrammes. If you have, then come here.
Symphonia, can also invite at least 4 allies, around their population size. However, I need allies more than he does, so expect them...

OKW Headquarters
Germania

The mood was pensive, to say the least. The Fuhrer and his top military commanders, his Reich Minister of Foreign Affairs, his Reich Minister for State Security and his Reich Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, were all gathered in one of the massive war planning rooms.

"The Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia has requested for our help in leading an invasion against Symphonia, I am uncertain as to whether we should accept their request. What are your views gentlemen?"

The Reich Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hermann Balck, was the first to reply.

"Mein Fuhrer, the GEIJD is a Communist nation, they were responsible for sending aid to Varshnan Communist forces. We should not even be considering sending military support, what will the rest of the Fascist states think of us?"

"This is a golden opportunity for us to furnish our military credentials and to strike a blow to democracy, I don't see any problem.", replied the Commander-in-Chief of the Kriegsmarine.

"Oh yes, funny you should say that, Grand Admiral. Or have you forgotten the navy's less-then-stellar performance?"

"What I am saying is that this will offer the Kriegsmarine some form of redemption."

"Back to the main topic," Field Marshal Aldrik Bergmann, Chief of the OKW, interjected, "We can send limited military support if need be, don't forget we still have to commit troops against the Quendi coalition."

"And, we can extract concessions from the GEIJD, the Ausland-SD have detected members of the SED(Communist Party in the GAR; outlawed) within the nation of GEIJD. In exchange for our cooperation, perhaps they could....turn the other way should we dispatch a team to do the job."

Everyone knew what the Reich Minister for State Security meant when he said that.

"Then it is settled," the Fuhrer stated, "The Kriegsmarine and the Luftwaffe will handle this operation. I want an invasion plan delivered within the week."

There was one within four days. The plan basically called for the Kriegsmarine to blockade the seas off Symphonia while a limited amphibious and airborne landing would be launched against the Northern Island of the Symphonian archipelago.

The Kriegsmarine
5 Battleships
7 Aircraft Carriers
12 Cruisers
20 Destroyers
250 U-boats
550,000 marines along with 2000 Panzers

The Luftwaffe
Luftflotte XX-3000 aircraft
Luftflotte XXI-2400 aircraft
20,000 paratroopers

Preparations and Mobilization
The current state of the economy which had been set to the status of "war economy", meant that the GAR was able to immediately muster the financial and industrial strength to push on through the war. Nevertheless, while enthusiastic citiznes contributed by purchasing war bonds, the first grumblings were heard from citizens who were fed up with the endless stream of wars and conflicts. Needless to say, the Gestapo was watching them and took immediate steps to detain these people for defeatism.

Mobilization was not a problem, owing to the size and the readiness status of the Wehrmacht. It was extremely easy to gather the number of forces required for the operation. The problem was that the troops despite their suprerior training, had no real experience of amphibious or airborne operations.

Wilhemshaven Port
The Kriegsmarine's U-boats left the port much earlier than the invasion fleet, their purpose being to help clear the way for the main surface fleet. The U-boats would travel downwards through the Mediterranean and then through the Suez Canal where after entering the Indian ocean, they would head down to the Strait of Malacca, passing through Singapore where they would then head to Symphonian waters. That would be the same route for the amphibious force. For the Luftwaffe, they would fly through the Middle-Eastern States then head towards Central Asia, after which they would head for Vietnam before commencing operations against Symphonia. Speed was crucial in this case.

"Symphonia is the Middle Kingdom.
This is what separates us from the rest of the pitiful dirt."

- Goddess-Empress Mioko vi Kiramashi I

Relum Imperial Palace, Symphony, Metropolitan Symphonia, Asian Federation of Nations

The news of the Japanese invasion in the Kanato Desert and the Cadia Province was met with shock and dismay by the residents of the Holy Imperial Capital of Symphonia. Many lined the streets demanding to know why the enemy had suddenly bypassed all the defenses and managed to land in the heart of the AFN. Yet many more shouted anti-GEIJD solgans and waved signs containing various vulgar words that would have normally been met with disdain and contempt by the higher echelons of the Symphonese society. However, even the richest businessmen and high aristocrats seemed to be marching in the streets as well, waving the Holy Imperial Banner of Symphonia and the AFN flag.

All across the AFN, the people began to stir and prepare for the angry war against the Japanese forces. While some asked why the AFN had even involved itself in this war, others began protesting against the GEIJD. Many Symphonians burned the GEIJD flag as well as hung effigies of the Emperor, chanting "DEATH TO THE BARBARIANS!" After all, never in the 10,000 year history of the Symphonian people had they ever been invaded by a foreign power, a fact they attributed to their self-assumed status of the Universal People of whom Heaven was ever gracious to. Others were angry that the Japanese clearly came to wreck havoc on their nation and were prepared to fight it out to the bloody end.

People gathered outside the AFN Congressional Hall, demanding to see the Supreme Chancellor if he had devised a battle plan to defeat the barbarian invaders. Other people waited outside the pure white gates of the Relum Imperial Palace, in St. Irene's Square, to see if Crown Prince Lelouch had come up with a plan. After all, he was the acting ruler of Symphonia until the Holy Emperor and Celestial Empress returned from Britannia.

Inside the Hall of Divine Protection, the Supreme Chancellor, Crown Prince, the Cabinet, the highest ranking Senatorial and Congressional leaders, and the highest ranking military leaders were holding an emergency meeting to discuss the battle plan.

"Your Highness and Your Excellency," said the Defense Minister," The enemy is landing in the Kanato Desert and preparing for an invasion of the city of Cadia. They have extensive forces that are equipt with those blasted kinetic missiles. They also have sent out their naval aircraft and are preparing for an attack on the entire West Coast of the Empire."

"We also have intelligence that the barbarian's allies are planning an invasion of Hienkoku," said General of the Army Kim Dae-jung," AFN military resources have been activated all over the Northern Isles in order to counter the threat. I also have reports from Hienkoku and Symphonian military commanders that their entire militaries have been put into service and are ready for war."

"Very good," replied Supreme Chancellor Sora vi Kiramashi-Sveltz," So long the Japanese and their allies continue to be bottled up in the South Britannian Sea and the Cadia/Kanato area, we can steadily wittle them down until they are forced to surrender."

"What about the confirmed threat that facist forces are preparing for an invasion of Hienkoku and the blockading of the entire Insulae Caelestis," asked the AFN Minister of Economics," Our economy will be forced into a fight for survival if our foreign trade is cut off."

"Yes about that," replied Crown Prince Lelouch," I will contact our regional ally of Shanix for naval assisstance in clearing the seas and trade routes so that our foreign contact is not severed. I probably will also be asking for help from Condunum."

There was some nods and clearing of throats.

"Your Highness, so what is the battle plan for eliminating the GEIJD barbarians? I presumed you have a plan?" asked the Defense Minister.

"Yes," Lelouch replied with a smile," While the Japanese are focusing on their attack on the West Coast and southern Hienkoku, Symphonian and AFN forces will be preventing them from advancing 50 miles from their beacheads in any direction. The Home Fleet and its AFN naval supplements will then move against the enemy from behind and trap them from leaving the South Britannian Channel. While the enemy is fighting on land and sea, the Symphonian and AFN aircraft from the Southlands Metropolitan Region, Central Mountains Metropolitan Region, and Northwest Metropolitan Region."

"I see," replied Dae-jung," But what of the civilians? Surely they must be prepared as well?"

"I have already made arraignments for that," Sora said quietly," Cadia is being evacuated as we speak, as well as the major cities around the war front. Imperial and Provincial Guard Units are going to their assigned areas and setting up the civilian defenses. As for the new refugees, I have opened up the Latinum Metropolitan Refugee Center in Symphony and the other cities in the Latinum Metropolitan Region. Supplies are being brought up south from Dedango and Sandroran as we speak."

"Heh," snickered the DM while looking at his blackberry," I hope the barbarians are ready to know what it means to invade Symphonia and the AFN. They will meet a powerful military that will be hard to defeat. And when all else fails, they will have to pacify the Universal People. I have reports from my subordinates that voluntary recruitment into the military by the general population just jumped 75%, and that twice the number is volunteering to join either the Imperial Guard or the Provincial Guard."

"Well......" the Economics Minister said while pulling out his blackberry and looking at it," I can say that civilian purchasing of guns just jumped 200%. If the barbarians invade the cities, my best guess is that the people will open fire."

There was general snickering and chuckles from the rest of the room.

"This is definitely will be one hell of a war," remarked the Senatorial leader.

Lelouch and Sora couldn't help, but agree.

"So where will the government be located?" asked a Senatorial leader," Surely our old capital at Skyview is now threatened by the war?"

"Yes, indeed," the Supreme Chancellor said with a nod," Both Lelouch and I have agreed that the government will remain in Symhpony, unless the Japanese somehow manage to capture the city. In that case, the AFN government-in-exile will be transfered to Phing Phong's capital city."

There were some nods as this was said.

The West Coast, Metropolitan Symphonia, Asian Federation of Nations

With the arrival of the Japanese forces on the West Coast of the Empire of Symphonia, pandamonium broke out along the many cities. Cars packed the highways and local roads as locals tried to flee the cities and coastal regions. Many more left by train, wisked away by the Trans-Symphonia Bullet Train Service which was giving them the ride free of charge. Others fled by plane, and many civilian aircraft were leaving the various airports, both large and small.

Those who could not leave in time or felt duti-bound to defend the Empire and the AFN prepared the defenses.

In the cities of West Genervira, Seris, and Cadia, the civilians-turned militia barricaded the streets and booby-trapped hundreds of buildings. The beaches and roads leading to and from the beaches were barricaded by hundreds of thousands of cars and buses. Houses were turned into make-shift hospitals and barracks, as well as munition depots.

The effort by the civilian populace didn't go unnoticed by the aristocrats and military commanders of the regions about to come under attack. Many common folk were praised and assissted in their efforts tby them. The beach and road barricades were booby-tapped and designed to explode the moment enenmy troops tried to destroy them and or climb over/past them. Many skyscrapers and tall-flat-topped buildings saw their rooftops turned into anti-aircraft sites, with powerful anti-airaft guns and SAMs stations being set up atop them. Anti-missile lasers were set up as well.

Even the prestigeous Excalium Towers saw its windows being replaced with several formidable anti-craft weapons.

In the harbors of Cadia, Seris, and West Genevira, the huge fortresses that guarded the entrance into the harbors and ports were activated. Constructed out of solid granite with their walls tens of meters thick, these ancient, but constantly maintained fortresses wielded a formidable array of weapons designed to prevent ships from landing and launching any kind of attack that would destroy the Guardians of the port. For example, anti-missile lasers had been a key part of the anti-missile defense, and had been placed all over the fortresses. Anti-aircraft weapons such as SAMs and powerful guns were placed there as well. Anti-ship weapons were present, with powerful missile launchers numbering in the hundreds and reasdy to fire when ordered.

However, the defenses were not going to hold forever. And that much was clear in the minds of aristocrats and commanders all along the coastline.

The AFN Counterattack was formulated to surround the enemy and then relentlessly pound them into dust. The AFN Outer Defenses would prevent enemy ships and troops from entering AFN-controlled waters and thus break the slow siege of the Japanese military.

Military forces from the Symphonian, Hienese, Xinhai, and AFN military forces poured into the region, command being handed over to the local aristocrats who had all proved their service in the military before.

The City of Cadia, The Northwest Theatre, Day 1 of Operation United Defense

Japanese forces began firing upon Symphonia, with hundreds of missiles and rockets being launched against Cadia and the sparse settlements in the Kanato Desert. AFN military satelittes informed the military of hundreds of Japanese aicraft taking to the skies to intercept any AFN ships in the areas. Fortunately, any ships in the South Britannian Channel had been ordered to divert south to the Sea of Haru or the North Britannian Channel. Minimalizing the losses was the best thing the AFN could do for the civilians at this time.

As the missiles and rockets raced towards the Symphonian homleand, the defenses around Cadia were activated. Sure enough, hundreds of lasers and anti-missile weapons roared to life and arced away from the city and its defenses. The civilians could only watch in awe as they detonated on impact with the Japanse weapons, fire erupting in the skies and bits of metal and ash faling upon the city. The few remaining missiles and rockets detonated in the city, causing signifigant damage to Cadia's skyscrapers and disabling some parts of the defensive grid, but overall not even denting the defense-in-depth and defense-in-numbers of Cadia.

Fire raged in the city and the citizens ran about trying to douse the fires and lower the heat. Air raid alarms began ringing across the city, and the first squadrons of F-16s, F-22s, and F-25s raced over the Cadia to engage the Japanese aircraft that were quickly approaching the city. Sidewinder missiles and machine guns opened fire on the enemy, and in the city below, Provincial Guard units began operating the SAMs and anti-aircraft guns. Explosive balls of smoke and fire erupted in the skies over Cadia, as missiles and shells began exploding and tracking Japanese aircraft. The attack on Cadia by air was not really effective on the part of the Japanese, seeing that they had not launched the attack on the city first and were now subject to Symphonian attacks.

On the beaches in and around Cadia, the arrival of the Japanese forces did not even seem to faze the civilian and professional defenders of the city. Instead they all yelled,"ALL HAIL SYMPHONIA!", and opened fire. The Abrams A1 tanks fired onto the beaches and into the port, aiming at the Japanese forces and theirs boats before they could establish a beachead on the coasts of Cadia. Japanese troops who tried to venture past the car barricade in the port or farther up the beaches, were met with hundreds of exploding booby traps, exploding cars, and a hail of machine gun and rocket fire by the defenders.

South Britannian Channel, The Northwest Theatre, Day 1 of Operation Oceanic Safeguard

From behind the Japanese fleet, came appeared many white and grey dots on the horizen. To the untrained eye, these dots were growing bigger and bigger as they approached the Japanese from behind.

In reality, this was the largest fleet in the history of the AFN. Composed of the Home, 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th Fleets, this was the AFN 1st Combined Fleet. With over 1,000 ships, it was the single largest fleet in the region and dwarfed the Japanese fleet under Admiral Vuong Dong Lai. And its single purpose was the utter annhilation of the Japanese armada that was bombarding Symphonia. If the Japanese wanted a massive war, it would start with the destruction of their fleet.

Under the Command of: 3rd Prince Kohaku vi Kiramashi-Sveltz
Total Military Force: 3.5 million sailors
- 3x LLC Blue Ridge Class Command Ship
- 7x CVN Gerald R. Ford Class Supercarrier
- 360x F-35A Lightning IIs
- 20x X-47B (unmanned attack aircraft)
- 7x CVN Nitmiz Class Aircraft Carrier
- 360x F-35A Lightning IIs
- 20x Super Yamato Class Battleship
- 35x CG Ticonderoga Class Cruiser
- 40x LCS Independence Class Littoral Combat Ship
- 50x LCS Independence Class Destroyer

- 100x MCM Avenger Class Minesweeper
- 200x SSN Virginia Class Nuclear Submarine
- 50x SSBN/SSGN Ohio Class Cruise Missile Submarine
- 100x Shang Class Nuclear Submarine

Prince Kohaku vi Kiramashi-Sveltz smirked when he saw the Japanese in front of him, still quite unaware that the AFN was about to unleash its nasty surprise. Aboard his command ship, the AFS Union of States, the 3rd Prince looked over the battle plan sent to him from naval command at Deterias.

An officer stepped forward.

"Your Majesty, all systems are go and all ships are ready for combat," he said," All that we need is your order to attack."

Kohaku looked over at the officer from his chair facing the windows.

"Very well, officer," the 3rd prince said severely," Open fire."

The officer bowed immediately while saying," Yes, my lord."

Within a few moments the guns of the fleet turned and opened fire upon the Japanese. Hundreds of thousands of missiles, rockets, and artillary shells screamed through the air at breakneck speed and closed in the Japanese forces.

Meanwhile back at the fleet, the carriers began releasing their aircraft to combat the expected counterattack by Japanese ships and aircraft. The submarines that remained under the fleet prepped their torpedo silos, as well as the few cruise missile silos that the Ohio-class submarines fielded.

Kohaku smirked as the weapons systems read at excellent statuses. Japan would really know what it meant to invade Symphonia. The Corporate Alliance had been warned and had been dissauded in invading Symphonia. Verzia had tried and failed. And now the GEIJD was following the fottsteps of those who had failed before, and there was no way this time a foreigner was going to win.

The Invasion of Symphonia

The Japanese soldiers laughed at the Symphonian civilians fleeing. They laughed evilly so much, one could never imagine. In addition, the Japanese aircraft in the air, began shooting Anti-Aircraft missiles at the civilian planes, in hopes of crippling Symphonian morale, as well as try to reduce their normal population numbers. Then, they stopped laughing. They returned to their normal emotionless faces of killing brutes, then changed into rage, when they saw the enemy counterattack moving towards them. Most Japanese soldiers were waiting for this. THEY WANTED TO FEEL THE ENTIRE SYMPHONIAN MILITARY ON THEM, THEY HAD AN URGE TO FEEL EVERY BIT OF IT. The Chinese as well as Muslim, Indonesian, Malaysian, Mongolian, Russian, as well as Japanese troops cheered like wild men they were, drawing their katanas, brandishing them in the air, while howling their war cries, to terrorize their foes. Every man, woman, child soldier that took part in this invasion, was trained from childhood, to be killing machines. Their adrenaline surged as the urge to eat enemy soldiers alive, was consuming them (something they were though in training sessions...cannibalism when attacking enemy soldiers). They felt the moment for glory had come at last.

The commanders were raged as the Symphonians smashed the missile as well as rocket strikes. It enraged the Military officials terribly. Hence, a plan was brought into action. The troops were doing as they were ordered, wielding their ballistic shields, while their commanders rallied them. General Li Kong Sinjiang, Commander of the Symphonian Front, bellowed, "Let us show them who we are! Even if we lose, we shall leave behind a scar! We shall humiliate Symphonia! They shall remember us, the hordes, with terror as well as fear! They shall remember how glorious we were! You will fear nothing, no death, no defeat! You shall take no prisoners, nor shall you surrender! Even if we lose, make it at least a major propaganda or political victory! You shall die like samurai, living by the code of bushido! You shall grasp you shin gunto to the very end! Do take Sun Tzu's Art of War in heart, for you shall need it! We shall die a glorious death! We are not afraid to lose! We will be remembered as savages, as if we were Mongolian hordes, or the Army of Mordor! Show them true terror! We also have The Greater Aryan Race on our side! Together, victory is assured!"

The soldiers digested every single word of the speech, howling, bellowing, hooting, as well as doing their war cry like wild insane mad men they were. They were behaving like Mongol hordes, to terrify the enemy on purpose. It was with reason, that this should be done. So that the ultimate plan could soon come into action.

Then, the speech resumed, after a while of Communist clenched fisting, Sieg Heils with right handed salutes, as well as stomping their Jackboots or clicking their heels: "You are the sons of Amaterasu! The Gods of War bestowed us a Divine Destiny! We are martyrs, who shall launch a holy war (聖戦 seisen) against the enemy we face! The Emperor, your Supreme God, shall lead us to victory!" this speech really enthralled the troops, whom were now saying, "Hakkō ichiu! Fukoku kyohei! Sonno Joi! Tennozan! Tenno Heika no Kami Samurai Banzai, Banzai, Banzai! Sieg Heil! Tora, Tora, Tora!" they all said, bellowing it aloud, thumping the ground with their samurai metallic German style boots.

The next speech was addressed to any Muslim in the invasion force. It was a compliment, a speech of praise, a speech devoted to respecting the Muslims for their greatness. (There are 30,000 Muslim jihadists part of the invasion force) "Sons of Islam! Your dawn is today! We shall die as martyrs! Your culture is Great, almighty! May Jihadists as well as Samurai die together, intertwined in the greatess Jihad/Seisen of all time! Assalam wo aleikum! Allahu Akbar!"

The Muslim troops cheered in a frenzy. They roared in total excitement from their Great War to begin. The Chinese, Malaysian, Indonesian, Russian, Hindi, Vietnamese, Thai, Laotian, Burmese, Nepalese Ghoorka, Bhutanese, Taiwanese, Mongolian, as well as Japanese troops also joined the madness, in an even greater frenzy of fanatic pride to the Empire. They all roared like an army of monsters coming straight from the devil's lair. They thumped their shields while stomped their feet on the ground. They did their war cries, as well as different sorts of salutations corresponding to "Banzai!", with the Japanese, of course, doing just that. The war was to be exciting for them.

However, their commanders were not as excited anymore. The initial strike using rockets as well as missiles had failed on the enemy. The first Japanese charge ashore was met with heavy enemy resistance, exploding Symphonian cars, booby traps, rocket fire. In that alone, well over 25,000 troops died in the first charge ashore. Symphonian forces were raining death unto the Japanese positions as well as their ships. However, laser batteries on board the ships shot down most of the powerful attacks that the Symphonians had tried to launch unto them. Air Marshal Kaesong Jinwaek Sojeonsu von Klautzewitz's Symphonia Delta Force of a total of 3,152 aircraft, of which 1,152 were sophisticated, advanced pieces of technology, while the other two-thousand were zeroes, although these zeroes were different. The Mitsubishi A6M9 Zero Type 0 Model 99, had been enlarged, refitted with modern technology, as well as some degree of stealth. They were also modified to climb high altitudes. Now, the air battle had begun, as Symphonia's huge air forces stormed the air, against the Japanese counterparts.

It was a surprise that was unexpected, however, most Japanese aircraft were of early Post modern era, as well as equipped with strong weaponry. In addition, the pilots were extremely experienced, battle-hardened conscripts, that were trained as professionals. The daring Symphonia Delta Force, stormed in against the incoming Symphonian aircraft, bent on engaging them. The fight immediately began with Japanese aircraft closing in on the enemy, launching a multitude of anti-aircraft missiles, while dropping intense amounts of incendiary bombs onto the city of Cadia. Stealth drones, began to fire napalm strikes on enemy targets on ground, while helicopters open fired with their chain guns, at the incoming Symphonian air fleet.

However, the air battle changed quickly into a horror when Symphonian anti-air defences roared into life, tearing at the Japanese aircrafts. However, Kaesong was clever enough to order the zeroes to be the diversion flanks, to take all the hits, for the rest of the aircraft. Over 400 zeroes were shot down in the process. Yet, other aircraft were also hit. 89 Hinds were shot out of the sky, while an additional 45 H-AZ191 stealth helicopters, 65 Kamakovs, as well as 39 F-2s, were shot down as well. However, these pilots were not yet done. As they spiraled off into destruction, the pilots decided to make one last gamble. They began to kamikaze into Cadia, hoping to hit enemy targets.

Realizing that the attack by air was a near problem, the General in charge of the Symphonian campaign, knew he would not dare repeat the same mistake twice. He would have to launch the full scale ground offensive, before it was too late. However, the first wave, had suffered intensive losses, by booby traps, explosive cars, rocket fire. Hence, he ordered his minesweeping tanks to move forward first. Over 300 Tk-X MBTs were remodeled into minesweeping, booby trap dismantling tanks, designed to clear the way for the better troops to arrive. With the final order, all 506,346 ground troops were now moving forward to launch the invasion. The landing crafts doors slammed open, with troops charging ashore, to prepare for the big fight ahead. All 6,983 mechanized, armoured, artillery, AA vehicles, pieces, forces, etc. moved forward charging ashore, launching a flurry of shells, armour piercing rounds, etc. in their move to launch the shock & awe offensive, in the fashion of Raikiri Sensou (blitzkrieg, mixed with banzai charge, strategic/carpet bombing, heavy naval strikes, nuclear shelling). These troops were lucky to have not yet landed ashore. Now, they were. In addition, each fighting vehicle, fired 50 baneblades at the enemy, with hopes of creating massive damage on enemy forces. At the same time, the juggenaughts at sea, were each firing 20 ASAT missiles, to aim at the Symphonian satellites.

At sea, over 1,000 Symphonian ships appeared, launching an attack on Japan's 287 ships! Admiral Vuong Dong Lai, was surprised, as he watched 15 patrol boats, 4 battleships, 8 nuclear battle cruisers, 3 destroyers, 4 helicopter carriers, 9 battleships, 4 dreadnoughts, 3 juggernaughts, sink into oblivion, during the initial enemy assault. However, he quickly mustered his other forces, to mount the counteroffensive. Soon, tonnes of helicopters as well as aircraft, were launched by electromagnetic catapulting, thrusting them straight into the air, to engage as Carrier Air Patrol units, to engage the incoming Symphonian naval air arm. The fight had begun. The submersible Japanese fleet, also readied its torpedo silos in return, while the surface warships immediately returned fire, with their own laser batteries, CIWS, massive artillery guns, batteries, missiles, rockets, as well as 280mm nuclear shells, at the enemy, unleashing a torrent of furious firepower. Japan would never tolerate defeat...never....

The Admiral sent a request back to Kyoto Reich Bunker, asking for more reinforcements. The 180,000 paratroopers, would soon come, so were the Noravean supplied personnel. However, more was intended to arrive soon enough....

A little while later, the next wave of invading forces were on their way, coming in 17 hours to come. Over 180,000 paratroop guerrillas, with 60,000 Noravean volunteers, were coming their way, to invade Symphonia, next time to come. Back in Kyoto Reich Bunker, the Imperial Military HQ had recently approved Executive XXX Operation Himitsu Sensou, under Pol Pot's command. Another wave of 80,000 troops from Cambodian province, were soon to be on their way as well.

OOC: Just to make it clear, I am done finishing my post. Also, all the radical elements inside this post are purely ICly, as well as for my pure entertainment. It is also since I have an Admiration for Muslim culture (I am a Japanese, quite obsessed with Muslims actually), I have decided to praise them in there as well. I hope nothing here is of a problem. :D

Communication of the vakali-nitomian empire

To: the japanese government

It is clear to us now, that the symphonians cannot be trusted to rule their territory as they wish. To stop military agression, they must be taken, colonised, enslaved.

This is why we are coming to your aid now. We will aid you in this glorious endeavour. The complete obliteration of the Symphonian empire.

They have spat on the vakali-nitomian empire, and her allies, too many times. Now, they will face the consequences.

We march,
to war and victory.

Military command, undus

"We must strike decisively, and we must do it now. They cannot be allowed to move," said Ronan Trannaar, his head burried in mounds of paperwork.

"Launch the hellraisers. Launch 300 hellraiser missiles, now!"

Alberto siaregli, commander of the orbital forces around the earth, rushed off to complete the prime general's command.

20 minutes later, sattilites orbiting the earth released their payload on symphonia, 300 hellraisers, with 700 decoys. They would burst open in the inner atmosphere, allowing their contents, 2000 superheated metal balls, to strike symphonia. When the balls had hit their targets, in all likelyhood doing massive damage, they would burst open, spraying the entire place with concentrated vx nerve gas.

This was the aim of the vakali-nitomians: maximum cevillian casualties. These missiles would target large citties, transport networks, schools and hospitals, to fill the symphonians with an air of mourning and terror.

Kyoto Reich Bunker

The unexpected joining of another surprising ally, shocked Japan. However, the more, the better. Mao Zedong, Pein. Seii Taishogun Uchiha Madara, along with the Emperor Tokugawa-Qianglong Uchiha no Yuan Zong Huangdi no Muteki of Japan, had received Diol's message.

It was an interesting fact, forcing together another Politburo session. Everyone deliberated for several minutes, until the Emperor decided to move ahead with his plans. Over the phone connection wiring him in Noravea to the Kyoto meeting, he spoke.

"Time to accept this proposal. Let us allow Diol into this war!" the Emperor ordered to all.

"Hai! Tenno Heika Banzai, Banzai, Banzai!" they all replied. The meeting was over, then a letter was officially sent in reply.

OFFICIAL COMMONWEALTH COMMUNIQUE
Image

AD VICTORIA, PER AUDACIA

For what has seemed like an eternity, the Commonwealth of Reformed Britannia has stood idly by and watched the Great Asian War unfold, as numerous allies of Britannia-most notably the Quendi nation-have pledged the strength of their nations towards the halting of the jingoistic Japanese-who, in spite of the ongoing war directed against their homeland, still continually seek to expand the size of their empire by invading other countries and opening up new fronts.

The Asian Federation of Symphonia was notable among Britannia's close allies for not immediately attacking the Japanese, in spite of the fact that the Japanese were in flagrant violation of what Britannia considers to be international law. In fact, the Symphonians pushed for a peaceful settlement at first-one that would doubtlessly have saved countless lives on either side. However, when it became apparent that the Japanese either would not or could not listen to reason, the Symphonians sensibly withdrew their support and committed themselves to taking down the Japanese threat.

The Japanese, however, appear to view this as more of a betrayal than a simple application of common sense. As such, they appear to have launched a counter-attack against Symphonia.

Britannia will not stand for this for a number of reasons. The first and foremost being that Symphonia has long been a faithful ally of the Commonwealth, supporting it even through the most dire and bleak situations. The second is that Symphonia is a member of Polaris, and Britannia is therefore obligated to come to her aid. The third is that a monarch from Britannia's royal House of Ceitherne-Emperor Aidan, the uncle of our own Queen Natalie-currently sits on the throne of Symphonia.

It is for these reasons that the Commonwealth officially declares war on Japan for the express purpose of defeating the Japanese excursion against Symphonia, and in order to hasten Japan's seemingly inevitable defeat at the hands of our noble allies, the Quendi.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN,

The Britannian Foreign Office

The declaration of war had come quickly. But Britannia had been preparing to enter the Great Asian War in some form for months, and had in fact assembled a commando team to undertake a seemingly impossible mission to sink Japan's flagship, the Yamato. However, as the massive ship had come under heavy assault off Taiwan, the mission had been cancelled. But Britannia remained vigilant.

And of all the armed forces branches, the most vigilant were the Corsaires. Considered by many to be Britannia's fast reaction force, the Corsaires were effectively a foreign legion, with troopers coming from Cyrupe to Jbeil-all of them commanded by well trained and experienced Britannian officers. In combat, it had proven to be a potent mix-and the Corsaires were famous within the military for accomplishing some truly noteworthy feats, such as the capture of Munich from the Gibetan SS and the furious assault on Havana during the war against Western Cuba.

And it was in Havana where the bulk of the Corsaires were based, alongside a strike fleet of Britannian vessels. Two corps-strength detachments, totalling 60,000 men, stood ever-ready, waiting for the call to war. And today, it had finally come.

The ships, the crews, the logistics department-all were ready. The months leading up to today's terse declaration had been tense indeed-every serviceman knew that Britannia would be going in eventually, but the question in everybody's mind had been simple-'when?' Now, they finally had their long-awaited answer.

Row upon row of Corsaires, each one carrying a high powered weapon and decked out in all the combat trappings of the Britannian armed forces, began boarding the transport ships that would accompany the strike fleet to Symphonia, where it would begin a high-intensity naval campaign aimed at utterly snapping the back of Japanese logistics capability. Initial estimates regarding the size of the invasion force were in the high hundreds of thousands, perhaps extending into the low millions-and Britannia, as a nation of 220 million people, did not have the manpower anymore to send millions of troops around the world. But what they lacked in quantity, they more than made up for in quality, as any soldier who had ever faced them in battle could attest to.

But even though the war wasn't expected to touch Britannian soil, defences were placed on high alert and Britannia's satellite network began a strenuous and detailed RORSAT observation of the waters surrounding Britannia, particularly Montague Bay and the Strait of Ulima. These were combined with active fighter patrols over Britannia's sovereign waters within Tetrakon, aimed at preventing enemy infiltrators or aircraft from getting too close for comfort.

Marvolo tarn sat in the high command chair of the VNS star of st. petersburg, as he watched the water speed past him.

The star of st. petersburg was a glistening jewel in the massive warfleet that now left the vakali-nitomian empire, it's cource simple: bombard symphonian coastal towns. It's mission was easy: after bombarding the symphonian coast, a large army would disembark and lay waste to symphonia, using the vakali war tactic of "ruulmakani," which means literally "to be glorious." The cevillians would soon learn to fear the black and red flag of the UVE and would die while trying to remove it from the roof of their capital building.

The fleet moved, it's trejectory allowing it to speed towards symphonia quickly, efficiently.

"Commander, when is our ETA?" Marvolo asked urjan krazik, a large, muscular vakali commander.
"About 4 hours, at current speed, sir," was the only response.

Postby Empire of Symphonia » Fri Oct 28, 2011 11:35 pm

The Summer Palace, Kensington, Commonwealth of Britannia

Emperor Aidan stared grimly at the television screen, listening to the news reports that filtered out of the West Coast and Symphony. Empress Euphemia sat nearby, using her limited connections in the government to at least reach the Imperial Palace. All she got was a "The line is not available. Please try again" voice.

"Euphy, I don't think you can reach the government when we are at war," Aidan said heavily," Even I know that the Japanese would strike our communications so that Symphonia is cut off from the world."

The Celestial Empress looked over at her husband, noticing Aidan's angry features and twitching fingers. Euphemia knew that Aidan was annoyed that they had not been brought back to Symphonia, and she knew that Lelouch would never allow them to return in the name of "keeping the Holy Monarchs safe", even though most of the government already realized that Lelouch was making a play for power by keeping Aidan out of the war.

"Aidan, what can we do?" she asked softly,"We have no actual power except for those set for us in the AFN Constitution. The only place where we hold actual absolute power is back in Symphonia Propera, and the Britannians are not going to let a Symphonian monarch, no matter how much Britannian blood he has, to order what Britannia should do."

The emperor shook his head.

"I just want to go back and fight those fools that invaded Symphonia," Aidan said,"I can care less if Lelouch trys to become emperor, because we already agreed that he and his twin are our permanent heirs. I just want to go back and serve my rightful duty."

The silence the enveloped them was deep.

St. Irene's Square, Symphony, Metropolitan Symphonia, Asian Federation of Nations

The normally vast and empty St. Irene's Square now had become a sea of people. Banners and flags of the AFN and Symphonia snapped in the high winds, a sign in Chinese that read "Out with the barbarians!" was waved by demonstrators, and the roar of the crowd was the scene that greeted Crown Prince Lelouch vi Kiramashi-Sveltz when he walked out onto the marble balcony that jutted out from the palace walls and overlooked the Square. As the Crown Prince looked over the massive crowd, a storm of cheering and adulation flew up from the crowd.

"Its His Majesty!" shouted many of the people in the crowd below.

Lelouch raised up his hand, motioning for silence from the people. The crowd immediately quieted down, the only sound coming from the snapping of the flags and the whistling of the wind.

"My fellow Symphonians, blessed peoples of Heaven. We are gathered here for a momentuous day, a day in which the world will finally realize the folly of invading the lands of the Universal People."

(massive roars of approval from the crowd, flashes of thousands of cameras follow)

"The detestible and barbaric Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia has invaded the our beloved Holy Imperial Federation of Symphonia, its soldiers bent on our slavery, destruction, and the utter annihilation of Symphonia as a Great Power. They have bombed our fair city of Cadia, and have invaded the lands of the peaceful Mongolian tribes in the Kanato Desert. They have landed thousands of hostile soldiers and have planned for an utter conquest of our lands."

"But it shall be futile, their effort worthless and pitiful, their reasons as shortsighted and quick to change as the wind and fish. Symphonia has faced far greater enemies than the mewlings of this kitten, this dust speck that cannot move the mountain that is our beloved Symphonia."

"The Japanese seem to think that they can easily break the will of the Universal People. I challenge this with all of my heart, so much in fact that I could the Japanese tear it out and I still would laugh in their faces. The GEIJD must be destroyed, for it has shamed what it means to be in the family of Asian nations. It has brought war, fear, hate, and a host of other truly horrendous feelings that do not deserve another breath of life in this world. Thus, it is our job, as Symphonians, Hienese, Huanese, Cheonese, or any other ethnicity in the AFN, to bring the warlike apes that rule Homeland Japan with an iron fist and twist the emotions of our fellow Japanese brothers and sisters against our noble and just cause."

(Applause from the crowd)

"Once we have evicted the Japanese from our lands, we WILL invade Japan. For too long, we have allowed the Japanese to bloody our nation and kill our beloved sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, family and friends. It is time that we, as one Universal People, with the divine will and Mandate of Heaven itself, that we shall win a final victory over our enemies. ALL HAIL SYMPHONIA!!!!!!!"

(the crowds chants "All hail Symphonia" while thousands of flags and banners are waved)

The City of Cadia, The Northwest Theatre/Southlands Metropolitan Region, Symphonia Propera, Asian Federation of Nations
Operation United Defense

The dogfight over Cadia was horrifically spectacular, the sounds of exploding aircraft, missile detonations, and the burning of Cadia's skyline causing one to just stare in awe. The second Japanese attack on the air defenses caused much damage, as naplam and incendiary weapons detonated in the skyscrapers of the city. 30% of the total air defenses were knocked out by the second run, with the substancial portion of the more powerful missile systems being destroyed. Around 2,500 total civilians and militia were killed and another 5,000 injured.

Ambulances, fire trucks, and police vehicles moved to the affected areas, desperately moving out the injured and trying to put out the fires as much as possible. They weaved in and out of the cleared streets, though they dodged hundreds of fallens panes of glass and the burning wreckages of aircraft shot down by the anti-aircraft defenses.

Overhead, the entrance of Cadia's air force marked the full force of the Symphonian attack. 10,000 A-10s, 10,000 F-35s, 10,000 F-22s, and 10,000 F-16s poured into the skies over Cadia, their sheer number along with the smoke caused by the fires in the city nearly concealing the light from the sun. The Japanese intial attack downed 1/10 of that number, the casualities roughly equal among each air wing. The Cadia Air Force quickly moved to encircle the Japanese air force and push them into areas in which they would still be hit by land-based anti-aircraft systems. Thousands of missiles were launched, with the black puffs of smoke and yellow strikes of light marking the rapid machine gun fire that each aircraft reserved for close combat.

As the Japanese air force began to collapse, the remaining pilots were seen to kamikaze into the city of Cadia itself. Their exploding aircraft ignited countless more buildings, adding to the pandamonium in the city and the death count that soon rose to nearly 25,000 civilians and 15,000 militia.

On the beaches of the city, the sudden arrival of hundreds of thousands of the core Japanese invasion took the civilian and militia defenders by surprise. In the western beaches, the lines held strong and the Symphonian civilians and militia fought with ever greater furiocity, a the coastal batteries, missile and rocket turrets, as well as heavy infantry positions poured their gunfire on the landing Japanese troops and any of their transport ships on the shoreline. However, casualities ran high and beach rain with pools and rivers of blood as the civilians and militia slowly began to crumble under the weight of a superior-trained Japanese military. Only when the arrival of battle-hardened Asian Federation regiments and Symphonian Imperial Army units did the Western line hold.
In the Port of Cadia and the beaches within the city limits, the fighting was even fiercer. Here, the defenders continuous fired on Japanese units and transports before they could make it to shore. The harbor forts attacked as well, sending out wave after of missile and rocket fire on the approaching Japanese ships and their troops. The Japanese landed with a roar and charged up the beach with their anti-booby trap tanks and special forces, much to the alarm of the civilian and militia defenders. Baneblades poured into the defensive lines that had gathered behind the wall of cars designed to create a barrier between the city and the beach, killing hundreds and causing general panic. As the enemy drew closer to the wall of cars, the civilians and militia rallied and returned fire from behind the wall of cars. Some people set up weapons stations in the hotel and office rooms that overlooked the beachfront, and poured a hail of fire from above.
The coastal defenses east of the city of Cadia, however, quickly folded under a hail of firepower, the defenders fighting to the last man, woman, and child. Any survivors fell back to the ancient, but well-maintained granite walls that formerly encircled the city in its ancient era. Based on the defensive walls of Constantinople. they were a formidable obstacle to any army, and they they were being armed with modern weapons systems. A the Japanese troops pushed off the beachfront and attempted to follow the retreating survivors, they were met with a hail of firepower from hundreds of missiles and rockets based on the wall. A line of Abrams tanks also poured its sheels on the enemy.

One of the defenses of Cadia had fallen. It was only a matter of time when either the defenders would surrender, or the Symphonian and AFN armies could reach the area on time.

Southern Britannian Channel, Symphonia Propera, Asian Federation of Nations controlled waters
Operation Oceanic Safeguard

"EVASIVE MANOUVERS IMMEDIATELY!" Kohaku shouted as he watched the Japanese counterattack on the fleet.

Then orders were immediately relayed to all other ships, and the fleet soon split into three carriers groups. However, the Japanese strike was dear. Missiles and lasers slammed into the hulls of several ships, causing internal damage and explosions to rock the fleet. Artillary shell pulverized several cruisers and smaller ships, and a supercarrier was put out of action and forced to retreat. All in all, the fleet lost 1 supercarrier, 2 carriers, 2 battleships, 5 cruisers, and around 100 smaller vessels, just under the number of ships that were in the Japanese fleet.

However, it was time that Kohaku begin his ultimate show of force. As the 720 aircraft rose from the Symphonian armada and proceeded against the Japanese, hundreds of missiles and torpedos were launched, dropped, or fired. Sidewinder missiles were fired against the Japanes aircraft and helicopters.

In the fleet itself, Kohaku stood up.

"Fire at will," he said angrily," Leave none of them alive."

"Yes, my lords," said the comms officer.

Soon enough the fleet released its second wave of artillary, missiles, laser weapons, torpedos, rockets, and other weapons against the Japanese. The smoke from this barrage soon enough become so thick that it covered the sky in a gauzy haze.

OOC: Well, I think it's been 4 hours

IC:

"Admiral, we're approaching symphonian warters now."
Admiral tarn sat, bolt upright in the four-poster bed that he was currently resting in, and within 3 minutes, was wearing full command uniform.
So far, the fleet had not been intercepted by any symphonian assets, and had carried on unimpeeded.
The lands of symphonia stretched out in front of them now, like a target, just waiting to be attacked.

The fleet now concentrated it's baring on the western coast, blazing at towns, citties and military basses all around the general area.

The 6 lyran longsword class guided missile ships reaked havvock, their heavy weapons bombarding mainly cevillian targets, mostly those that would strike pain and sadness in the hearts of the symphonian people, weakening there fighting spirit.
Schools were a good target. When you ask many men why they fight, the answer is usually "For my family." Take this away, and they are demoralised, seeing their children killed before your eyes can crush the spirit of many a leader.

Another major target were communications hubs. Relay stations, the huge military instalations...all to blind symphonia.
A country blinded is almost defenseless, unable to contact its people, they do not know if help can come.

Aircraft carriers launched their aircraft, bombers streaking, streaking at towns, citties and government buildings. Precission bombing targeted nerve centres, ports, military instalations, government buildings. Nothing was spared.

Also, any ship that even dared to approach the fleet was shot at, not caring if it was military or cevillian, medical or transport. Nothing would get through the massive vakali-nitomian line.

OOC: Yes, I know, this post is shitty. Also, since I can't see your map, I'm guessing you have towns, citties and the like on the coasts.

Operation Ryūketsu Jigoku
Invasion of Symphonia, Cadia, North-Western Coastline of Symphonia
Year of the Dragon (Dystopian calendar)
New Moon IV

The Japanese Admiral, along with the other commanders of the invasion, watched in glee as enemy blood was being shed in massive numbers. Despite Symphonia's technological parity with Japan, to add to this with their numerical superiority, 10% of the Cadian air forces were said to have been downed, according to enemy sources. That was about 4,000 lost in a single engagement! However, Japan too was suffering losses, despite the excitement of the officers. Some 350 more Japanese aircraft equally divided amongst the different sorts in the air were shot down over Cadia, once again with the pilots attempting last minute gambles to crash into enemy buildings. Of course, the enemy missiles, anti-aircraft systems, as well as machine guns of the enemy forces were not helping either, as another 100 Japanese aerocrafts were lost in the skies, also kamikaze-ing down into the city below hoping to die in combat. In addition to this, the aircrafts were attempting one more gamble. Each pilot began to unleash a new wave of missiles, this time of a different assault.

A total of 550 Hongniao stealth supersonic land attack cruise missiles each carrying up to 440 cluster submunitions made of tungsten as well as depleted uranium, flew out towards Cadia en masse, crashing into countless targets in the city, or in surrounding areas, although it would cause heavy losses on Symphonian forces, the power unleashed by this strike was dramatically reduced to relieve the civilians of the burdens of dealing with such an assault, reducing it so that civilians are averted, while striking only specific targets of importance, including communications, roads, railroads, bridges, strategic buildings, ground-air-naval bases, or actually targeting the actual Symhponian forces themselves, wreaking havoc. Now that this was completed, the aircrafts have served their purpose. Each plane began to receive an order coming from the Emperor himself...an ironical order. Since the Emperor heard the AFN voted to attempt peace, orders were given to drop the invasion plans.

The aerial forces over Cadia were now transmitting a message to any Symphonian broadcast channel declaring that the aerial offensive is near over, that the pilots were going to surrender. Each plane had to wait first, watching in awe as the LACM missiles with their submunitions crashed into Cadia & surrounding areas, smashing into numerous targets; before they could themselves surrender. Yet that would only happen if the Comrade People's Emperor of Japan could establish contact with the Symphonians for a truce. The overall invasion was being cancelled, the aerial assault was being silenced, moreover so was the naval assault. In addition to this irony, the 56 Tupolev-Mitsubishi Tu-200 "Dragon" Strategic Supersonic Strike Long Range Heavy Dragon-fortress Gunship-Bombers supposed to take off from numerous bases in Madagascar in waves, to engage in heavy strategic/carpet bombing of Symphonia overall, would instead drop 77,000 kg worth of food, clothing, supplies, money, to the Symphonian civilians affected by the war front. The time to make amends had come. Japan was tired of this war.

At the Western beaches, heavy losses were being suffered, with 59,876 Japanese troops lying dead on the ground, as well as well about 750 armoured vehicles & tanks & artillery pieces laying smashed, equally divided amongst the different sorts amongst the force, as the fierce Symphonian counter-assault ensued. Some 41,110 more troops were reported wounded to a severe extent, during the combat in that area. Now, however, their part of the plan began. The heavy artillery, rocket, mortar strikes commenced en masse, with a total of 9,000 artillery rockets flying at Mach 2.0 each carrying 280 cluster submunitions of tungsten/depleted uranium rounds, coming in numerous different waves, launched into the air towards the Symphonian positions, while tanks shot out 500 Hellfire II ATGMs towards any Symphonian mechanized/armoured infantry (including tanks) that they would encounter. In the Port of Cadia, meanwhile, the Japanese forces were now locking heads in urban warfare with their Symphonian counterparts, fighting in as fierce of a way as possible. As the enemy forces began to return fire, Japanese troops began to enter formations of defence, placing their ballistic shields before them, to deflect as many incoming bullets as they could, while moving forward at the same time. In this war front, nearly 43,822 Japanese troops lay dead in combat with assorted armoured infantry.

With the coastal defences East of Cadia collapsing, Japanese forces commissioned the Muslim Division Elite Overzealous Vanguard of 30,000 troops to the pursuit of the retreating enemy forces. They being the ones mostly in hot pursuit of the Symphonians were met with a terrible hail of fire power from the Symphonian defences of this impressive Constantinople styled fortification. Nearly 9,487 troops were slaughtered by such an impressive Symphonian defence, with an additional 8,763 severely wounded. However, more troops were pouring in from the city itself to follow suit, with heavy 130-mm mortar shelling commencing in earnest against those positions. However, with at least one portion of Cadian defences (OOC: according to Symphonia's post) completely collapsed, the war front was an impressive one indeed. The order for a full-out assualt commenced in earnest, with a full-scale mobilization underway for the blitzkrieg assault to begin.

At the beaches, however, things were not too interesting. While the troop landings were mostly successful, the transport vessels, the amphibious assault vessels, landing crafts, littoral combat vessels, were mostly destroyed, hundreds of landing craft, while countless more transports were now sinking in the midst of the heavy Symphonian coastal bombardment. On the beaches of the Port of Cadia, heavy losses were suffered during the Symphonian hail of firepower towards the beachhead; with the same difficulties being suffered in the Western beaches. In the meantime, after so long a journey, the newest wave of reinforcements finally arrived. The 60,000 Noravean volunteers, as well as the 180,000 guerrilla troops coming from Cambodia under Pol Pot's command, were arriving, preparing for their storming ashore across all of the beaches of Alpha, Beta, Delta, Hell, preparing to land in waves. These fresh new reinforcements planned to form a pincer assault to split the Symphonian forces in half by cutting their supply routes, etc. At the same time, Zeppelin airships came flying in carrying a force of 50,000 paratroopers to land all over the Kanato Desert area. Soon, the Tu-200 Dragons would also arrive to war front...

Operation Ryūketsu Jigoku
Invasion of Symphonia, Aerial & Sea Battles
Year of the Dragon (Dystopian calendar)
New Moon IV

The fighting at sea was equally terrifying. One good portion of the fleet was being sunk piece by piece, ending up being shredded by powerful punch-packing Symphonian artillery, lasers, torpedoes, missiles, et cetera on Japanese forces, wreaking havoc on them. Several things were lost in the horrid combat. A good amount of ships were sunk this time, counting the casualties to be around: 4 helicopter carriers, 3 more destroyers, 9 frigates, 4 battle-cruisers, 3 dreadnoughts, 1 juggernaut, 6 cruisers, the ten remaining patrol boats, 5 battleships, while disabling one nuclear super aircraft/helicopter missile carrier, causing devastation. In terms of submarines, 20% of the submarine fleet was destroyed in the fires of the Symphonian strikes. Numerous countermeasures were attempted, in every way imaginable, ranging from the Japanese naval variant of the 40N6 hypersonic SAM of the S-400 Triumf (the J-X Type 02N H-SAM) launching 440 of these in total carrying 800 tungsten/depleted uranium submunitions each flying towards incoming enemy missiles; to unleashing heavy massive torrents of flak fire, to open firing from the 20-inch guns of the massive vessels of the fleet, to deploying their own laser batteries at the Symphonian incoming projectiles.

While a good portion of the fleet escaped destruction, a numerous good portion was still lost in the process. In the meantime, the one nuclear carrier, was in a crisis, that could threaten both sides. As of far, this naval battle was the most tragic, most bloodiest battle in Japanese naval history. Yet the nuclear meltdown from the carrier, was worse. The enemy strikes blew through the munitions area, exploding a wonderful portion of it, as well as causing the nuclear reactors as well as any nuclear missile on board to go into panic mode. The nuclear reactors were growing unstable to a very critical level, threatening a total nuclear meltdown at sea. It would be the most tragic nuclear incident at sea so far. Sirens were ringing, sailors were running in all directions scrambling for their NBC equipment, as well as to prepare emergency measures to shut down the engines, yet it was too late. The ship began to explode in several areas, while the sinking began in earnest. The nuclear reactors where whizzing in sound, while the magazines finally exploded in full, destroying all munitions on board, while splitting the ship into a titanic fashion, with many pieces of the vessel splintering into the ocean. The nuclear alert was raised as intense amounts of radiation was spilling over into the water.

Emergency calls were being sent... "Code Red Comrades! We have level 10-10 positively deadly nuclear meltdown coming under way! We need all other ships of the fleet to respond to our call immediately! If this thing stays afloat any longer we are all dead!" the ship's captain yelled over a communications radio. Everyone was in a terrible panic as the ship continued to have an exponential rise in radiation, with several crew members dying of radiation poisoning for being exposed to such an intense amount. "Listen! You cannot remain afloat! Scuttle the vessel! We shall commence evacuation of your crew soon enough! Also, we need everyone in the area to be aware of the situation!" the Admiral said, sweating from on board his main vessel, knowing it was too well going to be a problem. The situation was simply terrible. The nuclear carrier was constantly leaking nuclear radiation at every turn, into the water, while poisoning its crew. The worse tragedy ever known to a navy was happening right here, in those very waters.

The captain had enough. Since Japan had ordered the cancellation of the invasion, moreover intends to make amends, surely since the war was soon going to come to an end anyway, the Symphonians would gladly assist. "Even if they are our enemy. We must ask for their help. This meltdown threatens everyone here after all." he said. "Wakarimashita, wakarimashita, toshi wa Taisho-kun" the radio operator replied exasperated, then reached for his radio where he began to speak to all local forces, whether they were friendly fleets or not. "We need help! This is everyone's problem. If this situation is not fixed, a nuclear meltdown tragedy is very likely..." he said over the microphone. Concerning the Symphonian assault on the fleet, something was being prepared for retaliatory purposes. From the surviving vessels on the surface, as well as from surviving submarine vessels, a total of 330 Brahmos-I Stealth Supersonic Cruise Anti-Shipping Missiles, 225 Brahmos II Hypersonic Cruise Anti-Shipping Missiles, 236 P-800 Onik supersonic cruise missiles, 271 C-101 Fei Long supersonic anti-shipping cruise missiles, 155 Hyunmoo long range subsonic cruise missiles, 83 Nirbhay cruise missiles, 122 Ying Ji Type 083 (C-803) supersonic anti-shipping cruise missiles, 166 Ying Ji Type 091 supersonic anti-shipping cruise missiles, 188 MA-31 cruise missiles, all of which were each holding 75 tungsten/depleted uranium sub-munitions, while the ships also prepared 220 Vympel R-77 AMRAAM BVR missiles, 115 SD-10 BVR missiles, 163 Astra missiles, as well as 275 MBDA Meteor missiles to launch at any incoming aircraft should the need arise.

In the meantime, the aerial above the naval combat down below was either better or more or less worse. The numerous air forces in the skies were surprised when they received reports of a massive Symphonian aerial force consisting of 720 aircraft coming towards them. Although the sort of planes amongst them was unknown for the moment, they all knew they had to quickly react against this new threat. The Mitsubishi Fukushu Doragon 6th Generation aircrafts were preparing evasive manoeuvres as they swerved around in the air to prepare to engage the incoming Symphonian planes. At the same time, the helicopters were also turning their attention to this new front. However, the rest of the Mitsubishi A6M9 Zero Type 0 Model 99 Fighters (the Zeroes), were easily shredded by enemy fire-power, tumbling off the skies, yet making kamikaze dives into Cadia hoping to destroy important targets before they died, after being smashed by all the numerous efforts done by the enemy to rid the skies of the Zeroes. However, the stealthy 6th Generation multi-role air supremacy fighters were still in the air along with the helicopters, preparing their smashing assault on the naval Symphonian air arm. From all the 120 planes came out a total of 2155 Mitsubishi AAM-5 Supersonic Air-to-Air BVR BLOS Air Defence missiles at the Symphonian aircrafts in a total salvo coming in several waves, almost three of those missiles per aircraft.

The next plan was simple. The ships of the fleet down below, would gather their own salvo against the planes that was previously mentioned, to launch then whenever necessary. So they did, the first salvo of these projectiles flew out of the ships, heading straight for the Symphonian planes. The helicopters did not fare so much however. Of the 1,750 helicopters in total, 487 were shot down over the skies. The crashing helicopter pilots knew the war was coming to an end anyway, therefore came crashing down into the ocean while sending last minute broadcasts to the Symphonian forces telling them they intend to not kamikaze yet rather wish for them to be picked up from the ocean since their mission is no longer war. In the meantime the 56 Tu-200 Dragons were flying over Symphonia to deliver some rather eccentric payload...

Operation Ryūketsu Jigoku
Invasion of Symphonia, The Making of Amends
Year of the Dragon (Dystopian calendar)
New Moon IV

The war was coming to an end, the Emperor himself ordering the cancellation of his invasion plans. He only came here to keep Symphonia out of the Great Patriotic War, yet now there was no longer any need for such. A treaty of truce was going to be signed between Japan & Symphonia. Down in Cadia as well as other locations of ground fighting, some of the Japanese troops were commencing to aid the local civilians instead of attacking Symphonia. Many soldiers were unloading food from the armoured personnel carriers, while also giving warm fresh new clothing to the civilians, as well as handing them supplied. Soldiers were also scurrying the civilians to safe locations as well as evacuating them to the Kanato desert hoping to make sure that the civilians are safe there. The time to make amends had come. The Japanese forces began to aid the local Symphonian civilians in every way, while some of troop units currently fighting (10% of them only) began to wave white flags. In the meantime, something even more interesting was about to occur. The Tu-200 Dragons came swooping in from the skies at last, carrying 77,000 kg of unexpected material per plane. Of course, the troops of both sides down below could only expect these monsters to carry a harbringer of death, yet instead, they were actually filled with supplies & food for the soldiers of both sides as well as for the Symphonian civilians down below. Some soldiers of the Japanese ranks were exchanging rice balls or sharing cups of sake. Meanwhile, however, the newly arrived fresh ground troops, including the paratroopers, were not doing so. They had arrived for fresh combat. They were ready for it. They began to move towards their designated attack locations to mount a surprise assault.

However, since the news of the war coming to an end came, civilians were now being taken care of by Japanese forces, to show them the soldiers did not come here to annex Symphonia, yet rather, they intended to simply keep it out of the Greater war going on. In the meantime however, the ASAT offensive completely stopped, meaning that Symphonian communications would soon come back online, allowing them to receive the top secret message Japan had for them.

The Empress

To: Highly Esteemed Holy Emperor Aidan of Britannia
From: The Comrade People's Revolutionary Huangdiist Empress Tokugawa-Qianglong Uchiha no Azula-chan of Fire in a joint statement, with The Comrade People's Revolutionary Huangdiist Emperor (Now Senior Cloistered) Tokugawa-Qianglong Uchiha no Yuan Zong Huangdi no Muteki of Sino-Japan's Pan-Asian/Pan-Human Empire of Socialism
Encryption: Nuclear Extremely High Security; Impossible to Intercept, Written Using the most secure of all clandestine channels, as well as written using the Type 665 Yukoshikken Encryption Enigma machine.

Dear Highly Esteemed Holy Emperor Aidan of Britannia,

Our people are in tears about the Emperor's sudden abdication, although he promised them he is still with them, that he will fight to the death to protect his people. As for myself, I intend to finish what my husband started, although afterwards I intend to rebuild the nation, as well as re-establish friendly relations with the world.

Now, concerning to my real reasons for writing this message, it is because my husband, the Emperor of Japan, has formally decided to abandon the invasion of Symphonia, which in reality was in fact more of a war to keep you out of the main war. We had in no way at all intended to annex you. If we did win, we would just withdraw from here then help you rebuild, once the main war was over...

In addition to aforementioned, returning to the proper subject, on behalf of my husband, as well as our people, we wish to ask to sign a formal pact of non-aggression as well as truce with Symphonia as well as the Asian Federation of Nations, which we also wish to become a member of.

Moreover, in my husband's own words:

"All right. Also, once my troops begin a withdrawal, my state pretty much intends to sign a truce with your nation, as well as commence a full scale withdrawal. If possible, once agreed upon, can you grant any surviving soldier safe passage, or let them integrate into your populace (for those that have little means of escape)?"

To add to this, I wish to add the request we both came up with. Our troops that would settle in the AFN can remain active servicemen, if you let them keep their weaponry, they in exchange will become a paramilitary force, that either you or our nation could call upon when needed. Yet you may keep them in your country. Finally, we wish to settle for an alliance, as well as work together politically, economically, militarily, as well as culturally to restore relations of friendship as well as to make amends.

To commence, the air arm of fifty-six Tupolev-Mitsubishi Tu-200 Dragon Strategic Supersonic Long Range Heavy Jet Bombers each supposed to carry up to 77,000 kg of payload have instead come to Symphonia to begin throwing supplies, food, clothing, as well as letters of pardon to your civilians, instead of commencing the strategic-carpet bombing Operation "Stalin's Wrath". So, I suggest you withdraw your troops from invading Japan, or you can keep them in Japan to secure us from coalition hands.

Concerning our allies whom are attacking thee, we are sure we can try to turn their attention to other fronts where they are needed. Please accept our proposal to a peace, where we are asking for nothing other than the requests above. In exchange we shall become AFN members as well as pay reparations, as well as help your civilians in the ways mentioned in this letter, as well as how it is also happening in action right now.

Finally, I thank you. I hope we can continue to honour our secret agreement together.

Dear Highly Esteemed Holy Emperor Aidan of Britannia,

I apologize for launching an invasion of Symphonia. It was a foolish idea to start a war placing Asians on both sides in dangerous trouble, as well as to have caused thee so much mayhem, havoc, carnage, as well as terrorizing destruction. We wish to sign a truce, as well as make this war end in a status quo ante bellum stalemate, where neither of us won this fight. Or more likely an indecisive one.

I have abdicated for several reasons, yet I am still Senior Cloistered, moreover I am still the head of our military. While my main wife may be the active ruler of this nation, I lie thereof behind the scenes doing my part in a...subtly sort of different...more likely clandestine secretive manner.

Amaterasu wills it, the Rising Sun wills it, I will it.

Be it Decreed by the People, The Military, The Politburo, The Empress.

Sincerely, The Comrade People's Revolutionary Huangdiist Empress Tokugawa-Qianglong Uchiha no Azula-chan of Fire.

The Great Western Ocean

The submarine U-305 cruised through the waters of the Great Western Ocean off the coast of Palutena, constantly scanning the area for any signs of merchant shipping or enemy naval ships. Along with her compatriots, U-305 had been dispatched to scout the Symphonian territory and report on the state of the Japanese invasion. The U-boats had watched the awesome dog-fights all over the Symphonian airspace and the bloody naval invasion of the Japanese. Every information was constantly being filtered back towards the invasion fleet which had by now, had bypassed the Philippines and was en-route to Symhponia.

The Invasion Fleet (Task Force Heinz)

Grand Admiral Hans Pirch stood at the bridge of his flagship, KMS Bismarck, and scanned the oceans for any sign of enemy activity. The fleet had travelled all the way from Europe and through the Suez Canal before passing through Singapore and the Philippines. Now, they were headed towards the Western Coast of the Symphonian islands. The Luftwaffe was already stationed in nearby GEIJD island bases, ready to offer air support. Now, it was only a matter of time before the fleet reached it's destination. Grand Admiral Pirch had ordered scout planes to scan the immediate two miles ahead of the fleet.

The Germanian forces arriving where a true blessing for the forces. With this much more reinforcements finally coming to the front of war, Japan was sure to achieve enough of a "Tennozan" (Great Victory), to use as leverage in any future negotiations. The time for something grand had finally come.
Code: Select all

From: Admiral of Japanese Fleets of Symphonia

We are coming close to concluding the fight, as unexpectedly our government has ordered our withdrawal, as well as sign a peace agreement with Symphonia. However, we still need to launch at least one more thundering assault against the Symphonians to use as a diplomatic leverage, before this war can truly be declared an end. So, we still need your assistance.

However, after this, we might need your help in all other fronts of the Great Asian War, mostly around our homeland, which has come under heavy invasion.

We thank you for being such wonderful allies.
