Timeline
? - Day 1: The Amanitte Empire attacks Omnipotent Soviet Russian Union
Day 1: Japan attacks Tol Forod and is defeated, the Imperial Senate repeals self determination act to unanimously declare war on Japan, Aman prepares for total war and commence mobilization.
Day 2-3: In the aftermath of the Battle of Tol Forod the japanese navy north of the Belgaer Ocean is destroyed, the quendi mobilization continues, numerous nations declare war against or in favor of Japan, Quendi forces blockade Jolthig in the Aegean.
Day 4-7: The first amanitte fleet sails towards Taiwan, the Battle of the Aegean is fought and won, Jolthig capitulates and retracts its support for Japan, a seize fire is signed with the amanitte government choosing to postpone peace negotiations.
Day: 8 The battle of Taiwan begins, the Battle of Midway begins, the invasion of Australia begins, Quendi forces prepares for an attack on the Philippines, the MIS La Serenissima and its escorts enters the Pacific, the second amanitte fleet prepares for an attack in the Indian Ocean.
OOC: Obviously the timeline doesn't really make much sense and will probarbly at some point be in need of an overhaul to make it more believable. When I make an NSwiki for the war I will try to fix that.
Background
The Chechnyan War waged by the restored soviets against its own populace was the spark for the Great Asian War. With its usual distaste for tyranny and genocide the People and Senate of the Quendi responded very harshly to the actions of the Soviets who not many years before had releashed nuclear holocaust over the Ukraine. What on paper was a simple involvement began on the 7th of Lairë the most august year 1499 after the birth of the great prophet. Sending a few submarines to the Black Sea the Imperial Quendi Navy quickly managed to sink many russian and korean ships in a cunning trap laid by navarch Curufinwë i Nayatan nos-Tyelkormo Sîrfalas the Younger proving the power of the Quendi military.
Yet no one could have predicted the response from the japanese empire to the battle in the Black Sea. Not since the Tezdriani War had the Belgaer Ocean itself been a theater for the wars of the People and Senate of the Quendi, and not even during the height of the Great Quendisphere Crisis that parred half the world on opposing sides of a brief yet devastating cold war had Quendi civilians and soldiers in Aman itself been slain by foreign hordes. Yet the japanese did so, they broke the Pax Quendorum that had maintained peace in the Sacred Lands for many years. They payed or that impudence with their lives as most of the japanese carriers and aircrafts was destroyed at Tol Fornen.
But despite the victory, that had costed only a few tribal villages and some minor military installments, the People and Senate was reminded of the days before the Pax Quendorum and with the memory came fear. Through that fear the Imperial House of Alcedina rallied around their banner all of the Quendi Nation with a single common purpose and goal. The end of Japan. As the japanese prepared themselves for war with their fleet retreating from Tol Fornen the Quendi Nation was being mobilized for the first great war in many years.
