The Republic of Drackonisa was in celebration on this day, the Supreme Commander had announced his decision to coronate himself as the Emperor of Drackonisa. In celebration of this first ever event, gladiator games were thrown round the clock and all the cities were brought to a standstill from the widespread celebrations. The Arenas were crowded and filled to bursting from the millions that came to attend the fights and the streets were literally covered in alcohol. Security around the country was notably relaxed as even the defending troops were caught up in the celebrations, several radar stations were left unmanned or simply had their personnel too busy indulging to care.

Even the tourists were taking part in the celebrations, with many joining in the fun as endless hedonism took over the streets. Uncharacteristic for Drackonisa perhaps, but the coronation marked a historical event and even a nation which prides itself on the importance of Order now saw a relaxation of its strict laws to allow for celebration. As couples openly copulated in the streets and multitudes of drunkards now doused themselves in beer and other alcoholic beverages, no one was expecting what happened in the next few moments.

As the commander's limousine approached the massive 800 meter tall skyscraper that was the Palace, a massive explosion ripped through the area. A thermobaric device had been detonated within the building. The expanding fireball brought the massive skyscraper to the ground, the debris and dust spreading outward from ground zero. The shockwave of the collapse sent a massive quake through the city, damaging nearby buildings and the aftershocks could be felt for several kilometers away. The newly crowned Emperor, with his reign beginning just 4 hours ago died in a storm of flames and debris.

Drackengarde wasn't the only city hit, with several smaller bombs being detonated at cities around the country. The celebrations turned to chaos as the bloodshed continued unabated. No one knew where the bombs came from. The chaos was total. As reports came in, the total damage became apparent. In the densely populated megapolises of Drackonisa, the casualties from the blast was horrendous. A total of 8 million citizens died in the bombings. A train was hijacked along the Drackonisian-Heaven's Gate railway, sending the bullet train crashing into the station and killing 300,000 civilians, many of them tourists.

Off the coast of Alphonse, the floating fortress of Fort Carpals was hit by a hijacked 103,000 tonne supply ship loaded to the brim with explosives. The lax crew members, many of them still inebriated by the rampant celebrations throughout the facility had allowed the ship to slip by unchallenged. The explosion tore a gaping rent into the fortress's armor, killing 300 personnel. As damage control crews hastened to attend to the damage, the attached fleet was placed on full alert and imposed a blockade on all ships entering and leaving the nation.

At the Heaven's Gate Orbital Elevator itself, terrorists attempted the same trick, sending a massive hijacked container vessel loaded with explosives and attempting to ram the navy port. The ship was thankfully intercepted in time, by the Heaven's Gate fleet 200 km off the island. With no response given by the ship after warning it off, the tsurugi class cruiser intercepting it launched an ASBM and blew the ship out of the water. The resultant explosion could be heard miles away.

Taking the reigns of the country, the Emperor's son, Cael Noctis Dracos declared himself the new Emperor as news of his father's death reached him. There was no time to grieve, at the army base he was stationed in, he made a public announcment to the people appealing for calm. Declaring martial law on the nation, all activities were to be shutdown and celebrations halted. Army units were dispatched to enforce a public curfew as tourists were herded back into their hotels and assisted in booking flights back to their homelands.

Negligent army units were now being arrested and brought to hasty court martials, with many executed for their laxity. Their one moment of negligence had resulted in numerous deaths. A most unforgivable offence.

"This is Emperor Cael Noctis Dracos speaking. As you may have known, several horrific bombings have been conducted by as yet unknown assailants seeking to destabilize our nation. We have no idea what their aims or intentions are, but if we are to give in to chaos we would be playing into their hands. I appeal to all citizens to remain calm as martial law is now in effect. A curfew will be put in place, no citizen are to be on the streets after 7pm. I vow to hunt down the assailants and bring about retribution to the vile dissidents who seeks to bring down the established order. Long live Drackonisa!" Pumping his fist at the podium, a loud cheer sounded amongst the soldiers gathered to hear his speech at the base.

The noble and most holy freedom fighters of Al-Sharifah claims responsibility for the righteous strikes at the heathen, unbelieving nation of Drackonisa.

In a propaganda web release, they announced their mission to the world. The two men in screen are the leaders, Sheikh abdul Khairul and the most holy cleric Fandi Rahman.

" Praise be to mighty Allah! Whose divine grace and will had brought forth this day! This is the price you pay, Drackonisa, for acknowledging an entity other than the righteousness of Allah for your ruler and the indulging of hedonism instead of religion! You infidels will pay for outlawing of religion in the state of Drackonisa. For too long they have denied the existence of Allah and denied our religion its rightful place in the nation. You have challenged the will and eternal might of Allah with the construction of your so-called 'Heaven's Gate' orbital elevator, which blasphemes against all believers. You shall immediately bow before islamic law and be converted to an islamic state with immediate effect. Carry on with your disbelieving and heretical attitudes at your own peril. This will remain the first of many strikes that will bring your atheist, infidel government to its knees and replace it with a righteous and holy one in the name of Allah, may his rule be long and merciful! Now you see, Drackonisa, your safety is at our whim! This is a warning to the other heathen nations around the world, it has come time to rise up in jihad against the unbelievers! The time has come to the creation of the vast caliphate and the triumph of the islamic superstate as foretold! Praise be to mighty Allah, may his will be done! [New Armarzia]

The news of the terrorist attacks on Drackonisia reached the leadership of New Armarzia. The amount of deaths and the sophistication of the attacks were horrifying. It seemed all over the world people saw the only way to spread a message is through mindless death. Military personnel were being prepared to either be sent Drackonisia to assist their troops or to head to the home nation of the terrorist if ever discovered. The only good news of the event was that the emperor died. New Armarzia seriously disproved his choices and were on the verge of cutting political ties with Drackonisia. Hopefully his son would prove to be a much more reasonable leader. New Armarzia was fully committed to assisting Drackonisia since the invasions of New Armarzia and Foxlandish.

"I want to be in Drackonisia by tomorrow night. The only way to insure smooth dealings with there new leader is to do it in person," said the High Admiral.

"But sir, they were just hit by god knows how many terrorists. It is not safe for you to go to that nation," replied one of the political advisors in the room.

"I don't care, military is at a heightened status, chances of another attack so soon are nearly impossible. I will go their personally and offer the full support of my nation. I want our military to be at full readiness, once we find out who made these attacks, I want our boys to be their in no less then two weeks."

The advisor sighed and said,"Right away sir."

The High Admral's helicopter or Fortress was being readied as High Admiral worked out a few final issues. First a message was sent to Drackonisia and then the High Admiral boarded the helicopter. The Helicopter landed on the Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carrier, the star jewel of the 3rd Naval task force. The naval force would head towards Drackonisian waters, but would wait for clearance to enter.

We accept your request for a joint operation against these vile terrorists. Drackonisa will not allow such a vicious attack to go unanswered. We will bring about retribution to these scum and see to their destruction. Your forces are hereby given clearance to enter Drackonisian waters. You may dock at the Drackengarde Naval Base.

Already, the army was organizing the defence, troops were being mustered at the army bases across the islands as the nation was put on high alert. All entry into and out of the country was restricted as tourists were put on the first avaliable flights back home. A call was put out to the world's nations for them to identify the dead, many tourists had been killed by the terrorist attacks and most of them had their identity cards missing.

While construction crews now set about the task of restoring the cities, the Emperor was shifted over to the Army Headquarters, better known as Big Box. The towering kilometer tall edifice was now teeming with activity as troops now swarmed the area and attended to their duties. UAVs flew in their patrol routes, maintaining tight air watch over the fortress.

The two Arms Forts, the Might and Will of Drackonisa were mobilized as they coordinated efforts on the ground. Based in the manufacturing city of Khorhal, they were now receiving their first mobilization orders since their completion. The massive six legged fortresses lowered their massive rail guns in mourning, as flags around the island lowered to half mast in acknowledgement of the tragedy.

As the curfew was put into effect, order was restored soon enough. Army units were patrolling the streets openly and roadblocks were set up everywhere. A sense of tension was palpable in the air as all activities halted. Workers now set to the task of cleaning up the debris and restoring the damaged buildings, but most important of all was the task of cleaning the dead bodies. As decomposition set in, there was a very real fear of disease setting in for the survivors and the bodies retrieved were taken away and cremated with all due haste. Rescue dogs and search teams were sent in the vain hope of recovering any survivors who may have been trapped in the collapsed skyscrapers. So far, there had been no survivors found. Vowing revenge, the Emperor made yet another statement in response to the terrorist propaganda video.

This is Emperor Dracos speaking. Al-sharifah, you have made a grave mistake in attacking us. We will hunt you down no matter where you hide. May your god have mercy, for I shall not. We will find out where you are hiding, and when we do, we will take great pleasure in watching you suffer. If it is blood you desire, then blood you shall have."

As the New Armazian fleet entered Drackonisian waters, they were escorted in by a pair of harbringer carrier-cruisers. The fleet will be berthed at the naval base, a pair of rathalos UAVs flew overhead, escorting the New Armazian delegates to the headquarters building where the Emperor is currently housed in.

[New Armarzia]

Armarzian agents apart of the Department of State Defense and NOIL (naval office of intelligence and logistics) who went with the fleet were sent to Drackonisian agents to work the big problem. Their goal was to answer four questions. First, who supplied them? Second, where is this group located? Third, how many member are there? And the most important questions, which non-islamic nations do they have cells set up in? This task was going to be a difficult one for the only information they had was the propaganda video and what few remains of the equipment used against Drackonisia. To help the chances of finding out these answers New Armarzia already dispatched a number Amrarzian Ghost teams, the most elite of Armarzian special forces, and NOIL operatives. They were sent undercover to various Islamic nations that were considered prime suspects.

An entire Armarzian military brigade that accompanied the naval task force was sent to the main attack site to assist in the clean-up and search for survivors. Though it is widely accepted that not many survivors will be found, the brigade was sent as a sign of immediate support from New Armarzia.

The High Admiral, along with a few advisors, went to meet with the emperor and Drackonisian military officials. Xavier planned on discussing what steps should be done at the moment; when the origins of the terrorists are discovered, what to do to combat them; and in what ways to further prevent another attack that the terrorists have pledged to make. Already two naval strike forces (consist of about six ships, one capital/carrier and five destroyers/frigates) were being deployed near nations that were currently being considered as possible havens for Islamic extremist.

Due to the extreme lack of information, New Armarzia and Drackonisia would have trouble combating these terrorists. New Armarzian military officials knew that sadly, the best way to find out where these terrorists were coming from is to wait till the next attack and hope to find further evidence. Though Armarzian agents were undercover, it was expected they would come up with little information.

MOCHA MAXA CAFE

It was raining outside. The first time this year in Oppentin. Knowing how Mother Nature was so bipolar with New Hayesalia, it would likely not rain again until the monsoonal wet season. The people outside were running for cover, but why? It was just water. Still, Lt. Brigadier Sebastian Bell didn't care. He worked an office job, but he knew that tanks were more challenged by rains than humans. He realised the insanity of that statesment, but he was CO of the entirety of New Hayesalia's mechanised forces. He was supposed to love tanks.

As he began to drink his coffee, the kids TV show starring some vaguely anti-political statements with the use of cheese blanked out, and was replaced with a stern looking newsreader known as the face of the New Hayesalian News, round glasses sitting on her nose. At the ticker stood a crimson banner- breaking news. He asked the waitress to turn it up, and she quickly did.

"Hello, I'm Linda Fronces," said the newsreader, professionally. "The Drackonisan Emperor has been killed only four hours into his regin after terrorist attacks in Drackengarde. Other attacks were held in other locations in Drackonisa, many successful. The co-ordinated terrorist attacks failed to damage the Heaven's Gate facility. The Freedom and Guns rebel group, which caused the Drackonisan Civil War- of which New Hayesalia intervened, and led rise to the ARDC-NH Cold War- was unaffected. Drackonisas new emperor has already been sworn in."

"Al-Sharifah, a noted terrorist group with a folied attempt to attack Pigeon's Markets in Thomspn, Retalimorea, has claimed responsibility. New Hayesalian President Daniel Hayes has released a statement saying that they are in private talks with the Drackonisan government regarding this. Furthermore, the alert level of New Hayesalia may be raised if attacks continue. The Foreign Ministry is also advising against all travel to Drackonisa, and for New Hayesalians currently there to evacuate or register with the embassies."

Bell stood up and ran. He pulled out his mobile and called base. He had to get from where he was right now to Military HQ- immediately. As a soldier picked up and began with "Sir, you've got base-" he intervened with "I need a chopper to get me to Revnami ASAP. St. Yasi Soccer Field, immediately."
"Uhh.." replied the stunned voice on the other end of the line. "Sure, sir. I'll.. uh.. deploy one now."

Bell ran onto the field. He went up to the referee and pulled his ID card, stating that he needed all players off the field. Before the chubby man could reply, he took the megaphone and called for everyone off the field. By the time they did, a Meerkat Utility Helicopter was bearing down. It whisked him over New Hayesalia, and he arrived in Revnami an hour later.

MILITARY HQ, REVNAMI

The chopper landed on the roof. Bell jumped off, headed for the President's Office within the building. Not often used, it maintained a clean feeling. By the time he got in, Hayes and his other military counterparts were there. Scotts, Knight, Fisher, Brigadier X. All were present. Hayes said quickly- "Bell. Do you want pizza or Indian? We've got a long time to spend here.

Within an hour, an encrypted message was sent to Drackonisa.

Mountain Cave
Deep within the mountains of an unknown country, the members of Al-sharifah attended the meeting by the Sheikh Abdul Khairul. Khairul, a most charismatic man, inspired the gathered mujahedin warriors and congratulated them on the series of successful bombings. With this, would inspire the rest of the muslim world to assault the infidels in Drackonisa. Already their allies are running over to assist the nation that received Allah's divine punishment. Plotting a series of more attacks, suicide squads from cells hidden around the world made their move. Cells were hidden in various countries around the world, states like New Hayesalia, New Armazia and Marcheria were now about to face their divine punishment. As Drackonisa had islam declared a banned religion, it was harder to sneak cells inside. Still, it was accomplished by having disguised operatives sneaking in via their airports. Now, a second attack was planned, this time on the reeling nation and hoping to inflict more devastation.

New Armazia
A small cell of 20 suicide bombers were about to prove their loyalty to the cause. Strapped with almost 20 kilograms of high explosives, they made their way into the city centre. They had lived ordinary lives, blending in with the peoples and keeping their more extremist views hidden. For years they plotted and planned the bombings. And now, the call for them to become martyrs had come. Splitting up and making their way towards various subways and transport infrastructure, they shouted 'Allahu Akbar!' and promptly detonated themselves in a firestorm of death and destruction.

As the bombers sacrificed themselves, the net received yet another message, this time interposed with images of death and destruction unleashed upon New Armazia.

Praise be to mighty Allah, whose divine grace and will had brought forth this day! The righteous fury of Allah will strike down all who seeks to aid Drackonisa. The heathens who defile our great, merciful and eternally loving god will be struck down by His divine will. Woe betide all who seeks to aid the enemy crusaders! We shall spread our beliefs of love and peace through our noble sacrifice! This is the last chance to all who refuse to implement an islamic government, do so now or face the divine wrath of Allah!"

In a separate message, a propaganda video calling muslims around the world to rise up and join in the global jihad was made and distributed on various video sharing websites.

Calling all believers of the faith! Rise up against your heathen infidel oppressors! The time has come to establish the global caliphate and bring about the Islamic Superstate as foretold in the holy book. We shall convert this world through our noble sacrifice and bring about the righteousness of Allah's rule! Rise up my brothers! Rise against the people who have sought to defile Allah's name with their hedonism and unbelieving attitudes! Death to the infidels! Allahu Akbar!

The young emperor was touched by the gesture of support from New Hayesalia. Of course, he had met Daniel Hayes once before, back in the party hosted in Heaven's Gate and had found the man surprisingly friendly. Sending a message back in gratitude,

We appreciate the support from New Hayesalia. Your aid teams will be allowed into the nation itself. All New Hayesalian tourists have been evacuated and put on the first planes home. Prepare to receive an influx of them, we have accounted for a total of 50,000 tourists of New Hayesalian origin. Alert us if there are any missing New Hayesalian tourists that remain unaccounted for. We have already retrieved 348 bodies of New Hayesalian origin and will be sending them back to your nation. We shall not forget New Hayesalia's aid in our time of need.

The second attack was barely averted as military forces patrolling the streets intercepted the terrorists walking about after the curfew. A number had attempted to conduct their suicide bombings in the streets where they were shot dead by the army troops. The international airport however, was hit badly as one of the main terminals had a disguised suicide bomber blow himself up in the crowd, killing almost 3000 innocent tourists. Total chaos reigned as tourists which were meant to be placed on their evacuation flights home were killed in the blast. 4 other bombers were detected and shot dead by the alert guards, thankfully halting any further casualties. With the airport's security compromised, tourists were now herded back into the city and placed into the hotels while a more stringent check was made on the evacuees. The slowdown in their escape was already causing unrest as several tourists attempted to stage a riot in the streets. Thankfully, some of them wizened up upon having military units fire warning shots upon them. Taking the message, they fled back into their hotels and patiently waited their turn to escape the country.

Big Box
The few terrorists managed to be taken prisoner was quietly marched into the headquarters, while official news reports stated they were all killed. 3 terrorists, unable to detonate their suicide vests in time were captured and brought before the army's top torture technicians. There, they would be made to spill the beans on where the rest of the group was hiding and what were their plans.

An encrypted transmission was made to the New Armazian forces of the recent developments and to prepare themselves for imminent combat. No doubt they would discover the masterminds behind this plot and their hiding places. When they obtained that information, the time for payback would come.

[New Hayesalia]

WAR ROOM, M-HQ, REVNAMI

Night was falling upon New Hayesalia. A couple of Navy Lieutenants delivered some pizzas. Every time the phone rang, one of the people in the rooms picked up quickly. So far, hundreds of bluWave flights were streaming into New Hayesalia, over 50,000 people. Another 230 had elected to stay, and they must've been daredevils.

When the bluWave flights left again for Drackonisa, they carried workers. So did the many military aircraft that were setting off. Unfortunately, those aircraft would be returning with body bags for the 358 dead citizens.

New reports were coming in. Spetzgruppa Nachal'nik especially were nervous. Some about deaths, problems in finding bodies, the usual shit. And then there was a stand-out. A sleeper cell of Al-Sharifah were planning something in Bumpton, Watrova. Apparently, anyway.

The issue was addressed with a warrant, delievered straight from Hayes. This would be the job of the New Hayesalian Federal Police. Donned in black armour, they slipped around the apartment block the AS were hiding in. A team would rappel down, taking them from the balcony.

Who knew what they would find, but their militay standard equipment would be set to kill. Time to see how this would go.

[Al-Sharifah]

Ahmed Al Ibrahim was making the final prayers for his brothers, all 15 of them crammed into a tiny apartment. For 15 years they had waited, hiding their beliefs from the general population and leading good lives, respectable lives. Ahmed himself was a religious teacher at the local mosque, and had many students who shared his beliefs. The time had come for the Global Caliphate. All the infidel nations will bow down before their righteous fury. In his apartment was a list of all their members in New Hayesalia. It was too dangerous to be left there. Deleting the list from his hard drive, he rose and addressed the fellow mujahedin warriors. "Today, we strike at the very heart of the heathens in New Hayesalia. We shall become martyrs for the cause and may we be judged kindly by Allah, in his eternal grace and love. Go on brothers! Make the jihad a memorable one!"

As they made to leave, the dark clad federal police broke into the apartment building they were holding out. Staring out of the window, he spotted the police coming. It would appear they had no more chance of going out in a blaze of glory. Still, they were not about to lie down and die quietly. Sticking his Ak-47 out of a tinted window, he unleashed righteous judgement upon the unbelievers and leapt out of the 3rd storey window, pulling the pin of his suicide vest as he went. He felt blood spilling everywhere as the New Hayesalian troops fired upon him, his arm was torn out of its socket, severed at the elbow and a gaping hole was torn into his thigh. Just then, his world turned into a brilliant firestorm. As the others ran down the stairwell, they leapt upon the federal police and pulled the pins on their suicide vests shouting " ALLAHU AKBAR!" the explosions tore the building apart in a shower of flames and debris.

Around New Hayesalia such scenes were repeated as 200 suicide bombers out of the 3,000 strong cell hidden within made their moves. Still, most of the attacks were halted before they ever took place, the martyrs giving their lives nobly for the cause. The remaining members went to ground, hiding from the federal police now hot on their heels. They had sympathizers of course, fellow muslim brothers who offered them donations and shelter. Those who believed in their cause and provided money to finance their operations. Now, they were calling upon these contacts. It would take a while for New Hayesalia to fully root out the organisation, they had infiltrated the grassroots muslim organisations. Sympathetic clerics and believers that attended the same mosques now offered their shelter and aid in evading the infidels who now sought to wage war on them.

A message was released again to the world, this time including videos of New Hayesalian forces killing the suicide bombers. Of course, the images of the bombers blowing themselves up were shown in such a way as to be inspiring, overall the images portrayed simply showed New Hayesalian police killing muslims indiscriminately and al-sharifah members fighting for muslim freedom.

Calling on all muslims in New Hayesalia, here you see the infidel government killing our fellow muslim brothers! They have chosen to wage war on islam itself! We now call upon all believers to join the jihad against the vile crusaders who seek to defile our religion of love and peace. The New Hayesalians had chosen to side with the blasphemous, unbeliever Drackonisians, strike them down with Allah's divine grace and will! Already our noble brothers in faith have risen and martyred themselves bravely for you. This attack on us shall not go unavenged! Allahu Akbar!

The explosion rocked the building. Suicide bombers, of course. Bad intel had led them to believe there were only two members, and those weren't too far gone. Four federal policemen had been killed, seven were severely injured. Luckily, most other tenants in the blast zone and the building were at a rugby game a few blocks down.

In other parts of New Hayesalia, already spiked police alertness had resulted in almost 121 arrests, and the shootings of over 60 suspects who had suicide vests. One attack was successful. A man killed sixteen people when he attacked a ferry from Zolira to Watrova. Another 34 were injured.

The interrogation of the 3 captives have yielded inconclusive results, perhaps they were too fanatical. The interrogator, clad in surgeon robes made it clear to the captives before he began his session. "I will make it clear here. You three will talk. The only difference is how much pain you want this session to have."

First had come the light punishments, verbally stating to them threats of pain and description of the techniques they would experience as their defiance and refusal to talk continued. First, they brought pigs in, knowing the islamic aversion to pigs but it failed to work, with the terrorist keeping mum. His fanaticism to his cause had made him disregard the fact he had likely lost his supposed '72 virgins'. Next had come the actual performing of said physical threats, after one of the captives spat in the face of the interrogator and spewed his religious nonsense in his face.

The first of the captives had his fingernails pulled out, his screams resounded behind the hidden and soundproofed room. With a cool voice, the interrogator regarded him with cold, hard eyes. "Talk. Where is your base." As the man showed further defiance, the interrogator's methods became more drastic. Dribbling acid onto the open wounds, he incited more screams from the man's ragged throat, hoarse from screaming. Cursing at the interrogator, they continued the 'interview'. Now, they hooked the man's nerve endings to electric probes and stimulated his pain receptors. Moving on to electric shocks to his genitals, soldering irons all the way to knife use, they eventually peeled away the layers of resistance of the man's mind.

By the end of the session, which dragged out to a 4 hour long nonstop interview, the terrorists resembled little more than badly butchered slabs of meat. The room stank with excrement, sweat and blood. Signalling to the guards outside to dispose of the bodies, the interrogator returned to the planning room to make his report. He made a short detour to the bathroom first of course, taking care to clean the traces of the harsh interview away from his robes.

By the time he reached the room half an hour later, he presented his findings to the New Armazian and Drackonisian intelligence officers. " Sirs, might i make my report now. We have received word from reliable...sources of the location of the terrorists accomplices based in New Armazia itself as well as those in New Hayesalia. I suggest we act on the evidence and make arrests now. Unfortunately, these sources had been unclear of the location of their home base. We would need more information before we can uncover the location of their secret headquarters."

Emperor Dracos had received the interrogator's report. It was troubling, to say the least. The al-sharifah network had extended far indeed, reaching many nations with its vile touch. Sending a message to New Hayesalia, he gave them the list of names provided by the terrorists interrogated.

This is Emperor Dracos of Drackonisa, my men have recently received a list of terrorists hiding in your nation from reliable sources. Do with them as you will. There are 18 names on the list, apparently some of them appear to be mufti and imams from your nation's mosques. I suggest you purge this cancerous threat from your nation's heart with all due haste.

The widespread arrest and crackdown upon the mujahedin in New Hayesalia provided ample propaganda material for the Al-sharifah network. As the network's video editing specialists went to work with the materials they had, they were kept updated by their agents that evaded capture within the nation. More releases of videos inciting hatred and fanaticism amongst young, impressionable muslims were distributed at the various mosques where the radical muftis and imams conducted their religious teachings. As the important radicals laid low during this period, many more of the expendable believers went out into the open to spread their word amongst the younger muslim community. Capitalising upon the arrests targeting muslims and denouncing it as a means of oppressing their views and religious practices, they incited further hatred and mistrust amongst the community.

Of course, this meant exposing themselves, but for the cause they were willing to sacrifice all to become martyrs in the name of the religion. Many were quickly taken away by policemen as they spread their word, but their job was complete. They had managed to plant the seeds into the hearts and minds of the young ones. Dragged away, they shouted accusations of "Infidel! Heretics!" at the policemen. As the friday prayers came, a more sinister indoctrination took place as the al-sharifah preachers spread the word of their beliefs in whispers at the sacred prayer floors. The infidel government had little understanding of the religion, their arrests and gunning down of the jihadists had simply inspired more impressionable and disillusioned, unemployed muslim men to be radicalised.

The al-sharifah seized upon the situation in New Hayesalia. Disenfranchised young men, seeking for a goal and purpose in life were the easiest targets for radicalisation. Already, the word of jihad was spreading and more troubles would spread as the mosques that were now populated with al-sharifah affiliated imams and muftis spread the word, unchallenged by the government. Word was spread within the sacred praying floors of the New Hayesalian government's supposed anti-islamic policies and the crackdown on their brothers of faith. The clerics emphasized on the government being filled with white men, the infidels and unbelievers who sought to keep the muslims from positions of power and denying the formation of the rightful world order. Great sections of the sermons were devoted to chapters proclaiming the coming of the grand caliphate as well as the formation of the great Islamic Superstate, where the world would unite under the religion of peace and love. Dedicated preachers bespoke of grand sacrifices of the mujahedin bombers, who gave their lives in noble sacrifice to bring about the rightful rule of Allah. The sermon ended with the preachers espousing the implementation of Sharia law and how the New Hayesalians were not living according to the dictates of Islam. As anger rose within the communities, there was little done yet to combat the messages of hate and intolerance spread by the preachers.

Some young men brought these ideas back home from the mosques, where the word would begin to spread. The government may silence a few, but they will never get them all. Their campaign of suppression and anti-islamic policies will bring about their divine retribution. Many more kept what they learnt to themselves, never allowing their neighbours or relatives know of their radicalisation. There was no doubt they would be persecuted and ostracized for their beliefs. They felt the world was against their besieged religion and it was their holy duty to wage jihad upon the infidels. Many made secret preparations for joining their brothers in the secret terrorist training camps.

We now require the locations of their headquarters and center of operations and we may begin bombing them into the stone age. Information we have uncovered through undisclosed means have not yielded much and we have barely begun scratching the surface of this plot. I believe this organisation is far more deadly and dangerous than any of us could have thought. I urge Marcheria to not underestimate the threat of these fanatics and to take all possible measures against them.

Your counterterrorist team may enter my nation and join in with the current effort to uncover these vile dissidents. Already, a team from New Hayesalia and New Armazia has arrived and begun conducting investigations. With any luck, through our coordinated efforts an end can be put to this conflict.

The infidels of Marcheria were the next target of the Al-sharifah network. Calling upon the hidden mujahedin cells that lay in wait within the godless communist nation, they began conducting operations immediately. Sheikh Khairul gave the word, rousing the cell to conduct a suicide bombing operation to bring the light of Allah to these unbelieving heathens through their martyrdom.

Ibrahim Yacob stared at the small, clandestine gathering of 9 other like-minded believers before him. For years, they had lain in wait within the heart of this godless, communist nation. Using their subterfuge and infiltration skills, they had kept their nationality and religion a secret, living as engineers, lawyers, doctors, people of respectability in their communities. Yet, no one had known of the hidden agendas, their radical beliefs that lay hidden deep beneath the facade of normal people that they had cultivated over the years. When the call for them to martyrdom in the name of Islam had come, no one hesitated. Around the nation, another 315 other such radicals prepared for their final journey before their meeting with Allah, many blessings upon His name. Chanting their final prayers, reciting verses from the holy book and leading their last prayer before their sacrifice, Ibrahim stared at the apartment that had been his home for the past 20 years. It meant nothing to him now, casting aside the worldly attachments that made him impure, he dedicated himself to the religion of peace and love. As he made his way into a crowded street market, he unveiled his suicide vest and blew himself up. His last thoughts turned to the reward awaiting him in heaven, his 72 virgins were awaiting him. 30 kilograms of explosives strapped to his body turned the place into a chaotic storm of bloodshed and flames. Around the city, chaos reigned as the suicide bombers brought divine judgement upon the infidels.

As word of the blasts reached the Al-sharifah's ears, they released another ultimatum to the world, this time concerning Marcheria. Interposed with images of the Marcheria bombings, the transcipt is as follows.

Praise be to mighty Allah, whose divine grace and will had brought forth this day! Marcheria, for too long you had chosen a godless path of apathy and sin, like the Drackonisians before you, you shall suffer the consequences for your heathen behavior. Renounce your godless, communist government and bow down before Sharia law or Allah shall strike you down with his divine wrath. This is only the first of many more to come. We shall not stop till victory is achieved and the global caliphate is established. We call all muslim brothers within Marcheria, rise up against your oppressors, the end of tyranny has arrived. All shall be united under the banner of peace and love of mighty and wise Allah! Just today, our brothers in faith had sacrificed themselves for the noble cause and brought about great and just retribution to the infidel communist government of Marcheria! Sending a message as a statement to the world, the network warned against all who dared to show support for the atheist nations of Drackonisa and Marcheria. By far, these two had committed the worst crimes of all the infidels, the outlawing of Islam in their nation.

This is a message to all the world. The warriors of Al-sharifah condemns all who show support for the unbeliever nations of Drackonisa. Bombings and attacks will be made upon such nations and jihad will be declared upon all infidel states. We demand the yielding of all world governments to the rightful place of Sharia law and the foundation of an Islamic Global Caliphate. We hereby condemn the godless peoples of Drackonisa and Marcheria. Drackonisa, your construction of the blasphemous 'Heaven's Gate' orbital elevator challenges the divine right of Allah and we shall bring about your divine punishment! Ambassador Otto Bosserman and his delegation of SS guards and embassy staff personnel touched down at Drackonisa to be greeted by a national tragedy of immense proportions. Although his delegation had managed to touch down unscathed, they managed to catch a glimpse of the destruction and chaos that plagued the capital. Ambassador Bosserman promptly managed to get in touch with the Reichministry for Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Fuhrer. After managing to contact Foreign Minister Hermann Balck and the Fuhrer, he was instructed to pass on the GAR's letter of condolences to the young Emperor in charge of the nation.

Back at the GAR, the news of the attack was greeted with a sense of worry and grief, not just at the destruction that had befallen Drackonisa, but also at the possibility that home-grown radicals would be inspired to carry out copy-cat attacks. The GAR had a substantial Muslim and Turkish community and although the government had accepted Turks as a pivotal component of society, hardline radicals within the government and amongst the Turks and Muslims had frequently clashed with one another. Within a few hours after the attacks, the Gestapo and Orpo promptly began Internet surveillance and random audio sweeps to identify any possible signs of dissent or anything else which could be identified as support for the terrorists.

A small cell of Al-sharifah sympathizers within the Turkish muslim community had heeded the global call to arms by the network. Casting aside their civilian identities and gathering in clandestine cells, they prepared to bring about the divine wrath of Allah upon the fascist nation of GAR. Years of clashes and riots by the muslim community had led to widespread dissatisfaction by the community who felt neglected and oppressed by the GAR government. Now, the example set by their Al-sharifah brothers, which had managed to strike a mighty and righteous blow even to a nation as militaristic and secure as Drackonisa had heartened them. Taking from the example of their brothers, self radicalised muslim men, most of them young and taking low-paying jobs with little prospects in life vented their anger upon the GAR government.

Mosques had already begun spreading the message, with imams and muftis loyal to al-sharifah spreading the word, time for revolution had come. Strapping on suicide vests and walking calmly into the streets, they identified areas best known to sow havoc. Public areas and schools were about to be prime targets, with the hatred and suspicion caused in the aftermath the fruits of their labour. Shouting the words, "Allahu Akbar!" the bombers gave their lives and martyred themselves in the name of love and peace.

As the explosions ripped through the country, street protests broke out again by muslims protesting the treatment of their fellows in New Hayesalia and against the ban of religion in Drackonisa, or more specifically, the ban on Islam. With the protestors screaming "Down with Drackonisa, Down with New Hayesalia, Down with the Fascist Government! Allahu Akbar!" at the top of their lungs, the rioting was rapidly spreading amongst the turkish and muslim communities. Words of praise were showered upon the attacks in both countries, taken as a sign of Allah's divine will and the infidel's just retribution. More chants regarding the divine retribution soon to occur in the GAR started. Warning if they do not repent and convert to an islamic government, the end will be near.

Despite the blocking of jihadist websites created by the Al-sharifah, the community found ways of obtaining the religious material they needed. From proxies to various softwares to circumvent it, they managed to download and spread the video released quickly amongst their community.

The daily reports that were filtering towards the government from the Gestapo and Orpo were greeted with worry and concern. No doubt, the majority of the Turkish-Muslim Community would support the government but this small band of radicals could potentially pose problems in the long run. But if the Fuhrer was concerned, he didn't show it.

While news channels all over the GAR were in the midst of broadcasting news concerning the recent terrorist attack on Drackonisa, Reichminister for Propaganda and Public Enlightenment, Armand Schnier, made a public statement appealing for national calm.

"While our thoughts are with the people of Drackonisa in this terrible time for them, certain divisive elements within our society are agitating for violence and seek to imitate the recent terror attacks. I for one would like to urge the people to stand united and not be swayed by extremist opinion. Such ideas pose a threat to the social harmony which the government has taken very long to build up."

All the same, the Gestapo and the Allgemeine-SS, began tracking down those individuals who were part of the terror cell. Meanwhile, the SD, the intelligence service of the GAR, warned that a terror attack was imminent. With that warning in mind, the decision was made to increase the GAR's terror alert level to it's second highest, a move not seen since the brutal quelling of a Communist insurgency. All security and army units were placed on full alert throughout the nation.

[New Armarzia]

The suicide bombings in New Armarzia caused much damage. It was estimated that two thousand civilians died in Beorhtrople and another four thousand were injured. The entire subway system was also crippled. Luckily since New Armarzia was in a heightened state of defense, two men were captured with another three killed. With the information from the Dracknisian agents, New Armarzian Ghost teams were now making moves on suspected terrorists, it was decided that more unconventional methods were going to be used to extract information. A total of seventeen more members, most just new and young recruits, were captured. These seventeen plus the two from the bombing were sent to a remote facility in the most North reaches of New Armarzia called Hotel Psycho. The NOIL agent known as Vladimir Rexcutii was in charge of the process.

The facility was an abandoned asylum and the nineteen insurgents were put in solitary cells. Each cell had to Ghosts guarding them and one NOIL operative performing torture...

"We members of NOIL believe in a little saying, 'the end justifies the means', and to show you this I would like to play a game with you." Vladimir looked at the failed suicide bomber with a crazy smile, "This it how it will work, you and your buddies are going to be...'persuaded' to give us information. If you give information that proves to be reliable, you win and get to die painlessly. Everyone else will continue being 'persuaded' until they can come up with new information. So you better be quick because I am more then sure there is not enough for all nineteen of you. So let us begin." The agent cracked one of his crazy smiles and punched the terrorist in the face causing him to fall back with the seat he was strapped to. With the man laying on the floor, the agent grabbed some pliers and walked over to him...

The High Admiral was now stay at "The Box" due to a security issue following the Beorhtrople bombings. From the Drackonisian city, the Armarzian leader was broadcasting messages back home to other nations stating that New Armarzia is now declaring war on terrorism and with a joint effort of multiple nations these insurgents will not stand a chance against the might of united nations. The Armarzian naval strike force in Drackonisia was sending out helicopter patrols due to the recent attacks on Drackonisia.

The reports of bombings in Drackonsia was of high importance to Karlsland, as Drackonisa was where they got the majority of their fusion reactors for warships. The captain of the Tirpitz was worried about this for two reasons. The first is that going to support would spread out the Navy more than it ought to be, and the second was that attacking would likely provoke an attack within the Reich. But, orders were orders, and the orders in his hand at the moment told him to go to Drackonsia with the 2nd Marine Fleet and her Forrestal-class aircraft carrier Ursula Hartmann. The Hartmann would provide air cover with F-14 Witches and the Marine landing ships would carry squadrons of A-10 Witches in case a ground-attack war was to be waged, which was likely to happen. The Tirpitz turned towards Drackonisian waters, and the 2nd fleet followed.

The Presidential Palace, Millennia, The USSM
Premier Alben stepped up to the the podium in the press room, his face a mask of hardened resolve. He waited for the jabbering reportes to quiet down and said, "My fellow Marcherians, earlier today, a grave attack was perpetrated against our nation by the Al-sharifah network. At approximately 10:52 AM, agents of this terrorist group suicide-bombed places all over the USSM." He gestured to the screen behind him, and images of the destroyed areas showed up on the panel as he spoke. "The Warmiter Market, Elizaville. The Gorky Children's Academy. Three casinos and two adult entertainment bars in Elkton. Trotsky Hall, Arlington University. USSM State Shipyards, St. Hewlett. The Poughkeepsie Galleria megamall, Poughkeepsie. USSM Defense Forces HQ, Millennia. Over twelve hundred died and close to four thousand were seriously injured. Fortunately, we were able to capture a van full of bombers before they could hit this very building, here at the Presidential Palace. I personally interrogated them in the basement. Several minutes later, this message was sent from Al-sharifa Headquarters, we presume." The crowd sat in silent horror as the message played on the massive screen behind the Premier.

When it was over, the Premier spoke, in a grave, intense tone known only to those who had served under him in the Revolution. "My fellow Marcherians, I think I speak for all of you when I say that we will not stand for this. The United Socialist States of Marcheria is a sovereign, socialist republlic, not some Muslim theocracy! And who's to say that we are godless? We have freedom of religion! I am a proud Agnosti-Jew, and all of you know it! These extremist turban-biters will not destroy our nation and they are foolish for thinking they can! I, and more importantly this entire country will not stand for this group's atrocities! I send this message to the leaders of the Al-Sharifa terrorist movement:" And what followed was the single most firey two words that had ever galvanized a nation for war, played uncensored for months after that: "FUCK YOU!"

The room was silent for a moment, then erupted into cheers as the press, the politicians, even the guards voiced their support for the USSM. Over two minutes later, after the applause had finally died, Alben spoke again. "Now, I mentioned earlier that I had personally interrogated several captured terrorists.After an hour of intense grilling, he revealed to me the group's base of operations in the USSM. The picture changed, now showing a view of a mountain cave through an aerial thermal camera. Two figures were visible outside. "This is their base, in the Shadrach mountains. And Al-sharifa, here is what the USSM thinks of terrorists like you." From the bottom of the picture, a firestorm suddenly erupted. Six lines, one of far-spaced white blotches, two of smaller-spaced blotches and what looked like three lines reached outat the cave. The picture was being taken from an AC-1G Destructo-Bus gunship as it rained fire down on the base. Theblasts quite literally took the top of the mountain off, to the cheers of the audience. "Now, we have five of our best men in Drackonsia who tell me that they are close to finding the origins of this grave attack. Once they do, we'll bring down our full fist on them! All for the Doublestar!!

Revnami, New Hayesalia
Mamuar Abu Sayyaf was the top leader of the cell based in the nation of New Hayesalia, from his luxurious apartment in Revnami, he had lived a life of normalcy in the middle of the infidel capital. Now, he was ready to cast aside his identity as a civilian and show his true radical image. For years he had worked tirelessly, providing social welfare, community outreach to the poorer muslims in the community. At the same time, they had spread their ideals of Al-sharifah amongst the recipients. Their contacts and network had grown, through support from wealthy New Hayesalian muslims sympathetic to the cause. Being one of the key leaders coordinating attacks for the region, his cell was highly important as well. They were the ones who held the donations programmes in New Hayesalia that kept the organisation funded. As he checked through his funds, he smiled. None of them matched the profile of the downtrodden, jobless muslim youth inspired to terror. Rather, many in his network were wealthy or middle-class men who looked for a purpose in life, an ideal to fight for. And so, he had given them one. Appealing to their need for religion and the glory of martyrdom for Allah, he slowly converted them from moderate ideals to more radical ones.

Now, as the crackdown began upon their fellow muslim brothers, the time had come to punish New Hayesalia. It had taken years of course, and plenty of money to ship in seemingly innocuous parts. Abu Sayyaf worked within the nuclear power plants and was a certified nuclear engineer. And now, he put his expertise to the test. He had his men assemble a small 10kt thermonuclear device in the basement of his home, and now they stood ready to unleash it. It served as a testament to the deep connections and sophistication the network had reached. The suicide bombings were merely a taste of their true capabilities. As they demonstrated to the Drackonisians, they had far more at their disposal. Now they were about to unveil yet another of their capabilities, the nuclear stockpile they had secretly obtained over the years. Usually purchased from rogue states and on the international black market, they had found it surprisingly easy to purchase components or even simply a working bomb.

Now, as the bomb was undergoing its final assembly, he led his 4 martyrs in a final prayer before their martyrdom. Praying for Allah's blessing and protection before their final battle against the infidels who sought to oppress them, they made ready to load the bomb up on their truck and detonate it in downtown Revnami. The blast, while certainly powerful, was nothing compared to the damage the fallout will cause. As thoughts of their eventual reward in heaven ran through his mind, he gave the code word, "Operation Divine Wrath begin.". The truck drove slowly, unwilling to disturb the primed bomb and was now making its way to the city centre. Sayyaf checked his map, 50km away from blast zone. With their truck playing prayer music within the cabin, they prayed as they drove towards the target zone. He resolved himself to die for Islam, his cell was already well managed, having left his several successors ready to take over command.

Unbeknownst to them, one of the men within the group, Fandi Mohammed was still hovering between a moderate and radical stance. Uncertain of what he truly desired and torn between the desire to serve Allah and killing thousands of innocents, he made a last call to his family. His name was on the list the Drackonisians handed to New Hayesalia, and he had no idea he was being tracked. In the phone call, he bade them goodbye and told them he was about to serve Allah and to martyr himself for their sakes.

Ali Bin Syed laughed at the torturer, he had already used his vile torments upon his brothers, but their faith held. Even as their fingernails and toes were pulled out with pliers, they kept their mouth shut. Eventually, the torturer had moved on to their eyes, followed by their genitals and finally pulling their tongues out, finally mercifully giving them the chance to meet with Allah. Steeling his resolve, he took faith in that the 72 virgins were awaiting him. He screamed as the cruel torturer tore his fingernails out one by one and broke the fingerbones with a cruel smile. He took faith in Allah, mumbling words and verses from the Koran to steel himself. He spat into the torturer's face, earning yet another twist and a broken toenail. Crying out with a voice hoarse from screaming, he cursed the torturer and proclaimed Allah's greatness, praying for Allah's salvation all the time. Then came the torturer's voice, "You want your 72 virgins? lets see if you can still have em." with that, a shudder came as his genitals were clamped by the pliers.
