"Terranubis! Send me my horse! I and the others of operation 626 will now head into the jungle. We will now execute the plan to drive a beast into the water."
His horse from the earlier battle comes loping towqrds him.

"Echo-11, is there a method of transportation you would prefer to take to get to the science lab? You have the choice of helicopter, speedboat, or on foot."
Danny says as he smoothly hops onto the horse as it stop in front of him.

Echo-11 grumbled softly. "Echo-2.. I'm disappointed. I really wanted to see this General blow up..or lose his temper or something. Oh well.. But more importantly, we're moving out. Any news on Xhar-Vy?"

"11, I urge you to remember that you are a member of the 501st SpecOp division..please act like it..I know that being this far from the home islands are strange.. But please. And no, Xhar-Vy is still silent. Move on foot, I'll be watching your progress."

"My apologies 2.. I have no excuse. For the Emperor."

Echo-11 took a deep breath and looked around at the nearby Terranubians with suspicion.
"My boots.. Are all I need General. Just.. Give me..the coordinates, p..uh..ple..please?"

Echo-11 glances at the horse with faint curiosity. "But of course. As long as theses soldiers of yours can keep pace. Shall we, be off?"

"2, why didn't we think of having you translate for me..? Would have made this whole process much easier."

"Good..point Echo-11..I'm not entirely sure.. Are you on the move yet?"

"Not yet, about to be though. I'm going to have a large escort apparently, don't get too close."

"Affirmative Echo-11, let's get this over with."

As Marquise & the SMALL group of armed escorts lead Echo-11 on foot to the lab, Danny rides in the opposite direction on his horse.


When he was out of earshot he begins yelling through his military bluetooth "What is this nonsense?! JUST now?! They were supposed to arrive minutes ago! FAILURE! I HATE FAILURE!"

More "mermaids" arrived on the beach just now. Some of them carried bow. Others carried gigantic mobile crossbows with bolts the size of lances.

On his ride to the area where the remaining creatures are said to be, he yelled into his bluetooth constantly.

"Get back in the waters you incompetent fools!" he says as he passes the mermaids. "YES SIIIIIRRRR!" the sing in opera.

"You b!+©he$ may like singing but I refuse to let you turn this mission into a f#©k!#g musical! Shut up with that $h!+ !"

Just as ordered, all mermaid go back into the water.


"Attention all of Terranubis. TIMMBOs will now henceforth be known as Bardic Warriours. It's cooler and doesn't sound stupid. Emperor of Terranubian United Emperial Duchies, signing out"
Danny heard a message from the new and current Emeperor over the radio.

"Well it's about time! I'm glad my son is in charge.... Get me onto a helicopter! I'm growing impatient! Sorry Skipper. It's faster on copter" He says to the horse.
The helicopter flies lower and Danny latches onto the copter's ladder. In the copters cockpit on the co-pilot seat he travels to where all the other beasts are hiding....

Echo-11 glanced at the escort of soldiers around him with faint interest. "So. How far is this..base? If we continue at this.. Pace.. It will take forever. We run now, yes?"

Xhar-Vy

Xhar-Vy felt..odd. Laid out before him was the remains of an airfield, now dug out and turned into breeding areas. The whole "complex" was massive.. Yet.. Where were all of the beasts..?

"Anything on thermal Echo-3?"

"Nothing sir..This whole place seems..deserted.."

"We have to be missing something.." Xhar-Vy scanned the area again. "There HAS to be something.."

"Sir.. Where did.. Where did that injured beast go..? It was right in front of the control tower.."

Xhar-Vy quickly brought his attention to the control tower, noticing all traces of the injured beast had vanished. "There has to be something in there.."

"Anything in particular? It's too risky to go in with just us, who knows how many beasts are in there."

"It doesn't matter, we need to get in there."

"Yes sir. On your six."

With the agility of a cat, both armored msn slipped down from the trees they were hiding in, to the jungle floor below, not making a single sound. They slowly crept along the runway, their rifles scanning the opposite treeline.

"Sir, I don't like this.. We're way too exposed out here..." Echo-3 said, as he turned to face the trees they just came from.

"I'm well aware Echo-3, but we cannot alarm any beasts that may or may not be inside."

After twenty minutes of this, both men arrived at the control tower.

"3, take the right side of the door, we're going to breach."

"Aye."

"Breaching in 3..2..1.."

With a grunt, and a very loud slam, Xhar-Vy had kicked down the door, and both men and sprinted inside, ready to fire.

"Room's clear sir!"

"Good. Search the place for clues.. Something is off here."

"We're here"
Danny says as he begins the climb off the copter. Eventually his boots hit the ground. He and his team searched the area. Little did they know that Steelians were already searching here. The place was too well hidden to see in detail from a distance. There was some sort of building here. Some kind of tower too.

"Gladiator, is the bait ready?"

"Y-yes s-sir" the man said through his military bluetooth. This was not a soldier. This was a criminal. He was too dangerous to be kept in prison, his sentence was death. He was being fed to one of the beasts as a sort of bait or diversion. The man had led the American Jihad. He was notorius for capturing and torturing Terranubian government agents for sensetive information. He was arrested and put in federal prison for life. He somehow escaped and continued on his terrible path. Now he was captured again, but this time, his sentence was death by beast mauling. Tied up and clothed in a suit made out of meat. The actual soldiers were in the treetops waiting for a beast to take the bait.... Zion cried in terror as he saw a shape come from the distance. It zigzagged through the bushes with glowing red eyes. It's beastial snarlings only added to his terror. He struggled against his ropes but couldn't break free.... The beast was closing in.....

"Sir, I think I've found something! There's an opening to a rather deep tunnel here.." Echo-3 said, as he pushed a heavy table to the side.

"Good eyes.. I'll call Echo 2 and 11 in for reinforcements.."

"Actually sir, Echo-2 called in a few moments ago, they are unable to assist. 11 has successfully infiltrated an upcoming Terranubian science experiment on a captured live beast, and 2 will still be providing overwatch. Also.. Echo-2 has recommended severe punishment for Echo-11's behavior. apparently he was trying to provoke General.. Danny was it? Into attacking him."

"I see.. I'll deal with Echo-11's idiocy at a later time.. for now, we'll have to secure these tunnels ourselves. It seems my radio system is busted.. I haven't received anything recently, apart from you of course. Perhaps that beast's claws did more damage than projected. Activate therma..-" Xhar-Vy stopped mid sentence, tilting his head towards the entrance.

Echo-3 immediately posted himself on the right side of the door frame, slinging a portable grenade launcher off his back at the same time.
"You hear that too sir? Sounds like a helicopter.. single bladed.. It's not an attack helicopter..transport perhaps?"

"Maybe.. it's not ours, that's for sure.." Xhar-Vy quickly went prone, hiding his profile under the remains of the kicked in door. With one quick motion, a pair of binoculars were at his visor.

"Terranubians.." He said with a growl.

"Do we take it down?" Echo-3 asked, switching the safety off and arming an EMP grenade for his launcher.

"No.. too risky. For now we'll search the tunnels.. Do what you do best and remove all traces of our presence. Then meet me in the tunnel." Xhar-Vy said, crawling back out of the doorway.

"Aye Sir."

Within minutes, the ground floor of the control tower seemed as undisturbed as when the Steelians barged in, and both soldiers were hidden in the tunnels, with the heavy desk covering the entrance again.

"Switch to nightvision, thermals won't help here."

"Aye..switching to..what..the hell.."

[Terranubis]

A beast has indeed closed in. It has completely disregarded the screaming pleas for mercy from Zion the criminal. Eventually It had mercilessly left only pitiful bloodstains as remains for Zion. The mans screams had stopped.

Danny gave the signal and the assualt began. Just as the creature finnished it's meal, the tear gas started. It was attempting bravery as the Terranubians surrounded it. Skunkbombs rained around the beast. The foul stench slightly wore down it's will to stand and fight. The Terranubians wore protective gear so that these things did not make THEM flee.

"Paparazzi!" Cameralike flashing assaults the beast's eyes. It finally began to flee.

Some Terranubians including Danny stayed behind. "This door seems to have already been busted down. I hope whomever did it, isn't hostile. Even if they are, I SINCERELY hope they aren't still here." General Danny says.

"Do you think it could be Steelians sir?"

"It may or may not have been them. I sense they are hiding SOMETHING. They aren't exactly the diplomatic and friendly kind. They remind of Feudal Japan and holocaust Germany. And you all know what happened to them. Their unfriendly outlook destroyed them."

"Isn't Japan now a Terranubian Duchy sir?"

"Indeed it is. You know your history. During the rebellion they chose to break their era of peace and unwisely support the U.S against us. We defeated them and as punishment for a wrongful attack, we took control of the nation."

"That's right General. We took away the power of their national government and gained control of the nation."

"So now Japan is not a country any more, it is now a Duchy in the United Emperial Duchies of Terranubis."

"Germany however, was wise enough to stay neutral in the war. And so they were allowed to stay a nation. They minded their own buisness and that is why Germany is still Germany and has not been tooken over by us."

This whole coversarion was being silenced by high technology. No sounds were made as the groups walk through the building. Their goggles let them see in the dark. Archers and ninjalike assasins came stealthily through the corridor. This team was assembled for stealth. If Steelians were indeed here, it would make for awkward diplomacy in the dark. The ninjas zigzagged quickly and silently through the corridor. The archers follwed their example, just not so agile or quickly....

"Switching to.. what..the hell..?"

Through the inky blackness of the tunnel small piles of began to rise from out of the walls. The deeper you went, the larger these piles got. After about thirty feet, the tunnel expanded into a massive cavern, with the piles all leading towards the center. In the center, a massive obelisk of pure black jutted almost unnaturally from the depths of the earth, to the top of the cavern ceiling.

"Where are we..? And what are these.. piles..?"

"Echo-3.. stay close, check your corners. I'm getting heat signatures of these piles, but nothing moving."

"Yeah.. but what are these things made out of anyway? It's all just.. lumpy.. mass.. I don't know how to explain it." Echo-3 said lightly nudging a nearby pile with the barrel of his rifle.

"I have no idea. Before we move on, get a closer look. I have a real bad feeling about this.."

Echo-3 knelt down, his armor plating making soft squelching sounds as it pressed into the cavern floor. "It looks almost like mud..hold on, there's.. something poking out here..Oh.. oh my."

Xhar-Vy tilted his head towards Echo-3. "What is it?"

"These.. piles.. are bodies.. from what looks like every nation that sent soldiers here..Look, there's even a Steelian glove here." Echo-3 said, holding an arm clad with the Morrow Den flag on it's shoulder.

"Get up.. we're moving further in.." Xhar-Vy said, glancing back towards the center of the chamber.

"Yeah.." Echo-3 stood up, wiping the mud off his shin. "Doesn't this look almost.. ritualistic sir?"

"Maybe.. highly unlikely though. Intel suggested that these beasts showed signs of intelligence, but nothing substantial.. What's that thing in the center..? I just see a void, my suit might be malfunctioning again."

"No, I see it too. Permission to light a flare sir?" Echo-3 asked.

"Too risky, can't have the Terranubians finding out about this place."

"Torch?"

"Fine. Low power though."

"On it." Echo-3 slid his rifle back over his back and activated the torches on his helmet, illuminating a small are in front of them.

"There's a lot more bodies than I thought."

"Indeed.. this is almost like a mausoleum.. We shouldn't stay long, we disrespect the dead with our presence."

They followed the path provided between the two lines of corpses towards the center, soon walking in single file, as the piles got higher and closer together. They soon began widening out, forming a large circle around the obelisk.

"Sir.. this cannot be coincidence..Whatever that thing is, these beasts were sure staying far away from it.." Echo-3 said, shining his light up and down the jagged tower of black.

"You're right.." Xhar-Vy said, in almost a whisper. "Can you.. feel that..?" he asked, slowly placing his only hand on the face of the obelisk.

"I have no idea what you're talking about sir.. but the only way out is the way we came.. I don't see any other exits.. Unless you plan on climbing over the dead."

"Just..listen..".

As he put more weight against the pillar, everything suddenly shifted into focus. It was.. quiet. The normal cries of dead comrades, the almost blinding rage that had kept him going for so long, the loss of sanity from constant war.. all.. silent. Am I..dead..? Is this the treasured afterlife..? Where are my ancestors..? He began to notice a faint buzzing.. somewhere off beyond his comprehension. It kept getting louder.. A voice! What could it be saying..?

"Sir!"
"Forge-Master"
"Commander.. can you here me?!"
"God dammit Xhar-Vy, we need to move!"

With a jolt, everything suddenly rushed back to him. He looked around quickly, noticing his hand now at his side, the obelisk itself seemingly sucking out all the light in the room. Grabbing his arm, was Echo-3, his voice almost frantic.

"Sir, we need to move, NOW!"

"Wuh.. why..?"

"The beasts, they're here with us!"

From the piles of corpses, hundreds of beasts slowly emerged, each one with eyes full of ravenous hunger.

"So much about not intelligent.. huh sir..?" Echo-3 asked, readying his weapon.

OOC:OHHHH.... Nevermind.... I only just realized you meant "torch" as in flashlight.

The Terranubians heard something up ahead. The quickened their pace. Eventually they make out humanoid figures. As they come even closer they see that they are Steelians. Further more, there are beasts begin to attempt a surrounding of the Steelians. The Steelians are readying their weapons. Danny uses a series of hand signals to lay out the plan....

Danny had noticed that the ceiling was strong enough for it.... Danny hid behind a giant rock near the areas entrance. He aimed his bow carefully at the ceiling near the back of the beast hoard. The loud explosion from that direction alone would draw all attention away from the next phase of the plan. The arrow launched and hit the ceiling. A loud boom in that direction turned all attention to the back of the room and above on the ceiling. Large chunks of rock came away as the arrow boomed and exploded. The rocks fell downwards onto where the beast were standing. The beast naturally were quick enough to get out of the way in time to avoid being crushed by the giant rocks, but they were clumped too close together. Some were ableo get out of the way in time, but many were unfortunate enough to be crushed to death by the falling rocks. All eyes were turned back towards the rubble and death for enough time....

The archers had snuck into the room while everybody was distracted. They hid in the room behind many different and large objects. Danny was both ninja and archer so he followed the ninjas. The nijas climbed tall juttings of rock that were almost ceiling high. Danny would shoot from there. There they crouched where noone would see them. This unit was VERY special....

The beasts were too in chaos at their divided attentions. Some were still focused on the rubble and the bodies. Others were staring at the area where the chunk of the celing had broken off. Some where looking about wildly trying to discern what caused the lood boom. Some had finally begun turning their attention back to the Steelians who where still unprepared and just as confused about the boom and what not....

The 20 archers plus Danny and a few commanders each had around 20 nonexplosive arrows. They stealthily killed one beast each in the timespan of three seconds. The arrows lodged themselves into the bottoms of the chins and through the top of the head.
Though for Danny it was the reverse because of where he was positioned with his crosswbow. The bolt went through the top of the skull and out of the chin. Directlty after, Ninjas pounced diagonally downwards ,gliding lighting fast past the beasts with their swords steadily held out. As they glided the down and past each beast, they decapitated each one they past with their swords, perfect rows of killing. When the ninjas had reach the ground, they rolled perfectly to their preplanned hiding spots. Noone saw or heard the ninjas at all, but the Steelians were perceptive enough to observe that some of the beast were laying dead and had arrows sticking through their skulls. They could see that rows of decapitated beast lay dead on the floor....

OOC: I mean, it's interesting.. Plus tired of every fuckin' RP I join die. So yeah.. You're welcome to jump back in, although it appears to be that we're in Act III of this, so.. Eh?

Before Echo-3 could even fire off a round, everything was silent. The beasts, dead. Reluctantly, he lowered his rifle, aiming it at the floor. He glanced around the room quietly marking the position of each Terranubian in his mid.

"Thanks for the assist, comrades! We most certainly would not have made it out without your..timely arrival.." He called out. He glanced over at Xhar-Vy who had positioned himself in a sitting position, and staring blankly at his hand and stump.

"Sir..get it together.. we're in trouble here..please!"

Yet Xhar-Vy remained motionless.

Back inside the cave

With a soft groan of pain, Xhar-Vy collapses onto his side, his hands grasping feebly at his helmet, his entire body twitching.

Echo-3 quickly positioned himself in front of him, shielding Xhar-Vy from the slowly advancing Terranubians.

Danny and a couple of Commanders come from their battle stations. The rest of the Terranubians stay where they are. Danny and the other "diplomats" stop walking towards the group as thet see Xhar-Vy collapse and Echo-3's protective action.


"My goodness, what's wrong Forge Master? Are you alright?" Danny says with concern.


Granted, the fact that Steelians were here is a bit irritating. They should have informed the Terranubians that they were going to be here. What would have happened if Terranubians had accidentally fired upon Steelians? What if they were in another situation and didn't know it was Steelians? They wouldn't have known to expect Steelian involvement, so they might have accidentally attacked them thinking them enemies. Terranubians warned Steelians about their scouts in the treetops. A little return warning for THIS would have been nice.


But nevertheless, something was wrong with Xhar-Vy and Danny was concerned. A life's well being is important to Danny, even if he was a little ticked off at the Steelians. He would give them a chance to explain their seemingly great mistake before he considered it a breaking point of the Alliance.

But first things first, is Xhar-Vy alright?

Echo-3 slightly raised his weapon. "All of you, keep your distance.. Whatever is doing this could be..infectious..". He quickly switched his gaze between each approaching Terranubian, then back to the crumpled mess of Steelian at his feet.

"I'm fine, for the most part. I.. I have no idea what's wrong with him.. But that is of no matter, we must leave.. We disturb the dead with our presence."

With a loud click, Xhar-Vy goes still. After a few moments, he slowly rises, one hand firmly resting against his temple.

"Good work.. Echo-3..Now.. Let's..Let's get out of here 'ey?"

Echo-3 slowly takes a step away and turns, so that Xhar-Vy is on his right, and the approaching Terranubians are on his left.

"Sir, status?"

"Orange..We have to leave.."

"With the arrival of our new friends..that sees unlikely sir."

"New friends..? Oh.. them..We cannot let them take the obelisk..we need to study it further.."

"Perhaps sir.. but right now, we have bigger problems."

"Yeah.."

Echo-3 turns his head to face the Terranubians, ending the silent conversation with Xhar-Vy.

"So. How bad can this go.." he murmured softly to himself.

[Terranubis]

"You are right, we should ALL get out of here. I sensed an extremely dangerous and angry presence as soon as I neared this room. Research and whatnot of this room shall be worried about later. Terranubis, let's leave this cursed place. After YOU, Steelians."
Danny said as he gestured for Steelians to lead the exit outof the room.

"Yes..let's leave..Xhar-Vy, Let's move." Echo-3 said, relaxing his hold on his weapon.

"There is nothing left to save,we move forever on.

"Yeah.. let's go." Xhar-Vy said, shaking his head as he stood up. "Greetings General Danny.. appreciate the assist. Let us go." He begins walking past Danny, discreetly slipping a small back object into one of Xhar-Vy's many pockets as he does so. Echo-3 follows close behind, watching the Terranubians with restrained suspicion.

How is controlling my character.. Controlling someone else's..? Xhar-Vy touched an obelisk, something invaded his mind and now is kinda like a split personality..ish. Not sure where I'm suddenly controlling someone else.
