Since the 1960s, people have sought to live underwater for extended periods of time. Initially for scientific purposes and only inhabited by scientists, technology has gotten better and better, enabling scientists to reside there for longer periods of time.
Now, in the Gulf of Arazei, just off the coast of Stagno, and 20 meters below sea level, an underwater habitat named "Lovato" was constructed and placed on a ridge this past summer. The Lovato I has been going very swimmingly (no pun intended), and the Lovato II mission will witness an expansion: the Nucleo module was completed, and has been linked with the Brouvayeshki module, where the Lovato I mission will be held.
What would Lovato II bring? Knowledge? Disaster? Conflict between the more experienced veterans and the freshies? It's up to fate... and the twenty souls who get to participate in this mission.
RULES
- You must be a member of Esquarium to participate. Else, unless if you're asking questions (though I suggest using the TG or 'gram to do that), or a mod doing their duties, you may wanna stay out.
- All NS rules obviously apply
- Godmodding is right out
- One liners are only permitted if there is nothing to talk about. Otherwise, do not post one-liners.
- OOC stuff are to posted here in the OOC thread, and IC stuff is to be posted in the IC thread. Don't clutter the IC thread with OOC stuff.
- Keep all whining out of this thread.
- For characters, there are significant regulations.
- A total of twenty people can participate in the expedition: either scientists or civilians
- Each country can bring up a maximum of [strike]fourthree people, though two or three are recommended
- If you participated in the previous RP, you may bring a puppet. Otherwise, we will not accept puppets. Participants can also bring another group in if they don't bring puppets.[/Strike]
- Individuals cannot be very intelligent. They may specialize in a field, like say, being a medic, but they cannot also be a captain.
- Children are encouraged to come on in. They did not build a daycare and a classroom for nothing!
- A total of twenty people can participate in the expedition: either scientists or civilians
- Individuals can be ordinary civilians (like families), or scientists
- I am OP, so my word shall be law.
- To quote Pavonistade from Stranded... "Regarding edits to the OP, rules, and everything else: while I'm not obliged to give notice of any edits, I would just alert participants of changes anyways."
- Sign-ups will close on Feb. 14, 2015, or if there are twenty approved characters in the RP, depending on which-ever one comes first.
- These shall be automatic conditions for removal from the RP.
- Not posting for a period of three weeks or longer without letting us know
- Leaving the region without letting us know where you are going
- Being delete-on-sight.
- Not posting for a period of three weeks or longer without letting us know
