HARRIKES - All over Euskirribakondara, these posters have begun to appear everywhere. With the recent announcement that EUSK1 would finally make a comeback to the WorldVision Song Contest, speculation about the Euskal entry began to arise all around Flegavia; however, it seems that the entry has already been chosen internally and is just awaiting to be premiered. The WV41 entry would feature three artists: Samira, Tina Goan and Anaïseko; with the latter two making their WorldVision début.
Samira (née Samira Kareli) is widely recognized as the "Queen of Euskal Music"; and she has already represented her country twice in the World Hit Festival (coming joint third in WHF4 and winning WHF9) and twice in WorldVision (7th place in WV21 and 9th place in WV22). She, in fact, was also part of the creative team behind the Euskal entries for WHF12 (4th place) and WHF13 (1st place). And she is about to release her eighth album, whose first single might as well be "Dak Dak", as she has described this eighth album as something "much more upbeat and commercial than my previous work. I want this eighth album to show a new side of me".
Tina Goan is a newcomer to the international scene, but she is already gaining popularity throughout her country. Born in the Vil D'Oski province to an Euskal/Sirbadian [OOC: Sirbadian culture is Slavic] family, she rose to fame in 2014 for her creative YouTube videos in which she showcased her high vocal range and melisma skills. Her latest hit has been "Писмо, напсаноје с тебом (Pismo, napsanoje s tebom)" (A letter written using you); a pop song; but it is pressumed that "Dak Dak" will also show a new side of her.
Anaïseko is a rising rap and hip-hop artist in Euskirribakondara from the Narni Province, who has been "slayin' it" around the Flegavian region in several rap battles and songwriting contests. And she seems to be featuring with a rap bridge in this entry.
The title, "Dak Dak" is difficult to translate, since it is a grammatical particle in the Euskal language that repeats the last verb said or written; so the closest meaning to it would be "yes, you go do it" (or something alike). It's left to wait whether this is indeed Euski's WV41 entry.
