Four arches grace the entrance of Blount House, Roland College's oldest and main administrative building. The arches, historic and solid, are as well as its highly structured programs of academics, athletics and student life.
Roland College is an independent boarding school in Houma, Acadiana. Founded in 1871 as the co-educational Roland Wesleyan College, it is among the oldest schools still standing in Acadiana.
At Roland, boys and girls in Years 7 through 12 live and study on a picturesque campus surrounded by the Meynard Hills surrounding the campus on west, north and east, while bordering the beautiful East Sea. On an 800-acre campus in Northeastern Acadiana (located northeast of Banjia), the school has a population of approximately 652 students of various nationalities and highly qualified, dedicated faculty members.
Students enjoy a strong sense of community as they prepare for universities all across the world, with many of them on non-returning journey to worlds outside Esquarium. Building on over 140 years of tradition, Roland College is a mix of traditional values and modern society seeking to challenge the world ahead of them.
Once again, Roland College is pleased to announce that it will be back for its 214th school year, and thus will be welcoming a new crop of international students on top of existing domestic ones. Prospective students can be from Year 7 to 12, but are most likely to have passed the harsh, long admission process of an application and an entrance essay, followed by a personal interview. Coming from various backgrounds, interests and nationalities, they'll be welcomed like no other in Roland College and hopefully have a great time.
What would Roland bring? Competition, hatred, friendship, love, death or despair? It's up to how the things go in this small, isolated college....
Rules
Of Course, no one likes to keep, play or participate a RP without any rules or it will be very disorganized with lots of bad blood and problems in return! So, here are the things called....''rules''' that we should use. The rules are:
1. All the participating nations must be in Esquarium.
2. No godmodding of any kind. That means that there'll be no invincibility or super-perma glues.
3. No one-liners or Lyman-RPs please.
4. You're normally allowed to submit only one character per nation. A character from ONLY one puppet nation will be allowed. Second character will be allowed, depending on the RPer, at the OP's discretion based on one's RP history and quality.
5. To quote Luziyca, "Keep all whining out of this thread".
6. The language of instruction is English and French. The school offers courses in various other languages, most notable one being Latin. If the character's taking a foreign language course, then please contact the OP through responding through here.
7. You can RP as a student or staff, preferably student.
8. Sex and other crazy shits are allowed, just don't make them overly graphic.
9. To quote Pavonistade from Stranded... "Regarding edits to the OP, rules, and everything else: while I'm not obliged to give notice of any edits, I would just alert participants of changes anyways."
10. Have fun.
And here's the application that you use to sign up. Signup process will last for about a week, though it may end earlier or later depending on demand:
