Governmental Airport, Governmental Quarter, Ardea, Ardokian Capital District, Unified Progressive Republic of Ardoki

Ríona Obrien, the Minister of the Exterior of the Unified Progressive Republic of Ardoki walked up a flight of stairs to a government jet carrying a cup of coffee. As the Minster of the Exterior, it was her responsibility to represent the Ardokian state on the international stage. She was accompanied by Gréagóir O'Malley, a young diplomat who would be Ardoki's ambassador to the PTS. Ríona was picked out of university by the party (Progressive Socialist Labour Party of Ardoki) to become a diplomat. She happily accepted the invitation, and over the years she worked her way up to becoming a senior diplomat. In 2010, she was selected by the Politburo to become the Minister of the Exterior, a job she has had since. She was loyal to the party like most Ardokians, and an ardent follower of Progressive Socialism. Now she had to leave Ardoki again on a diplomatic trip, she had not done that since 2007.

As she walked into the jet, she took her seat up in the back and sat down quietly. She looked over agenda for the summit, and what the Politburo had suggested she should say. She also researched a bit about the other nations present at the summit, it wouldn't hurt to know she thought. As the plane took off, she looked out the window at the capital getting smaller and smaller. It would be a long trip to the Dominion of Zyphius. Hopefully the summit would be enjoyable she thought to herself as she flicked through pages of a document.

Vaes Athvillar, Republic of Rykzia

One must wonder why Rykzia would so soon enter into an alliance that Zyphius made. After all, the War of Illumine was over, at least, in the mainstream, and Vice President Sasarit Olasen was a bit angry over Zyphius' passiveness to the annexation of Murratri by the Illuminians. But still, he thought that it was necessary to repair relations. He was already on his jet, which took off and departed for Skyrift.

Somehow he thought that this alliance may stagnate; what he could propose was for measures so that it won't go in that direction. After all, they were going to meet some representatives of member-nations, who may have the same goals in mind.

Wiciloth Building, Skyrift, Zyphius

"Should I be worried about representing Zyphius in this summit?", asked a certain Sargoth Thomazar, who as appointed personally by the Supreme Potentate. Currently he is talking to him through his holoslate.

"Yes and no", Kelstath replied on the other side of the line. "Yes because what you say will be accountable, and because there are other nations coming here, and no because you'll be saying what you have prepared on your data pad. I fully trust you on this."

"Alright, may Xuvath shine on you, your Excellency."

"Likewise." And the transmission ended.

He entered the building and went up to the conference room, which was on the 18th floor of the building. It was good that the PTS was allotted three floors of this skyscraper, for the construction of a headquarters seems out of the question at the time. As he entered in the conference room, he took the seat assigned to him and began looking up the member-nations' information, starting with Ardoki, the one that really caught his attention.

"Hmmm, from the surface they may seem socialist... or even communist... I'm not sure Kelstath would be favorable towards that."

But as he swept down the page on his data pad, he continued to read more and more about this "Progressive Republic" and their ideology of "Progressive Totalitarianism." It had a mix of social democracy and totalitarian government forms, with some form of social corporatism. He did have some objections to the idea of state atheism, but nonetheless that won't matter for the alliance. All they needed was a country that is proven to progress without the need for democracy, and that's it.

ZXCS Pisaroth, Somewhere outside of Ardokian airspace

The massive starship was indeed a marvel of Zyphian engineering. Back in its days of hostility with Altaro in the 1890s, the regime in Zyphius wanted to portray a sense of power in their design that can fill men with fear, and this was reflected in the nearly hundred year old transportation vessel, a converted destroyer. In its design was an entry for smaller aircraft to land in, something that the Ardokian jet can enter in. By now they should've seen its massive form sticking out in the skies over the ocean.
