This is an OOC sign up thread for the upcoming marriage of Queen Mara of the Allied States of New Edom and Prince Michael of Dakmoor from Ghant.

IC is up.

This is generally for region members but the following non region members may sign up:
1. People who are allies from out of region with Ghant or New Edom
2. Special invite cases. If you would like to be one such I recommend PMing me or Ghant.

Rules of conduct:
1. It is expected that this will be a generally peaceful thread, though moments that are rough and tumble can occur on a case by case basis. Security will be at an all time high due to the number of VIPs attending.
2. Bodyguards can be kept to a minimum for the dinner/reception/ball.
3. The actual wedding ceremony will not really be roleplayed among everyone; it will be a spectacle event people can react to, and the dinner will be rather the same--a few speeches, a description of what was served and so on, but the main event will be the ball.
4. Regional standards for roleplay--at least two paragraphs for responses, good grammar, no godmodding, will be maintained for everyone including any newcomers present.
5. Hospitality will be provided in the form of hotels, rooms at palaces and so on as necessary, with appropriate security cooperation.

On the other, the manner in which Peregrino was handled has created friction between the two governments and sparked a debate in Adiron over interventionism. The consul met Empress Sophia at a state ball abroad earlier this year and developed a rapport with her, much to the consternation of some Ghantish nobles. He has since been the Adiran consul closest to the Ghantish Royal Family, and as such will be attending. Tamburo has a somewhat athletic build, broad shoulders, and brown hair with a part on one side.

Consul Cary Singleton: Age 34. The Adiran consul in Sixington, Singleton ended up representing the Adiran consulates in New Edom after the first pick was faced with a death in the family. Mr. Singleton is tall, has short black hair, and has a chiseled jaw.

Julia Singleton: Age 29. Consul Singleton's wife, Julia is a writer hoping to take in a historic moment and a spectacle. She is also hoping to bump into a couple of friends in attendance. Julia has shoulder-length brown hair and has a slim build.

Holly Lemay: Age 25. Ms. Lemay is the director of Testing the Waters, an ANBC-produced documentary on New Edom's recent test election. I notice that you haven't posted much with this nation, so I also have no idea what experience you have as a writer in the game. If you do consistently write well--ie at least two paragraph posts consistently with good English in them--then please link me to a thread you posted in consistently with another nation if this is a newer one you created, which seems to be the case, please.
