I don't think we can allow any live ammunition. Otherwise, any demonstration is welcome.

(By the way, everybody should be aware that we are a thousand miles from the nearest land so you might want to think about how you can get short-range aircraft here and how many you can afford to bring. I don't care if you "magic" them here, as long as you're aware.)

I've got tanker aircraft that can make the trip. The only problems might be the warbirds I'm bringing as well.

So am I allowed to send my stuff? It was on the last page. I can do a Naval landing demonstration, as well as helicopter and jet related stuff.

I don't think a naval landing will be practical because the air base is inland. Otherwise, you're okay as long as you can handle the RP. Quality is better than quantity. :)

And of course, interaction with other participants is good.

I can do some aerial stuff, as I said it is mainly aircraft. I'll set up some stands, and have a few officers wonder around.

As long as it isn't Starship Troopers beaming into the crowd or something like that, I'd just as soon be surprised. :)

If your moving it near the coast does that mean I can do a naval landing exercise? And moor my carriers nearby and stuff.

It isn't near enough for the spectators to see a beach landing but it is near enough that you could base your aircraft on your carrier and just fly over to the airbase. Let's call it a few miles.

Is there any specific places my guys can come ashore to look around and stuff, or should I just get a chopper into the base?

Would you welcome a hot air balloon? Costa Aluria has a decent showing of hot air balloons, and I'm pretty sure the guys over at Balloons over Paradise would love to check out another tropical island destination....

A chopper is fine. I don't want to get bogged down with a lot of air traffic control, so we'll just assume that goes on in the background.

For planning purposes, what would landing sites and natural features in the area look like? Hot air balloons are dependent on the wind, after all. Also, any water features or livestock around?

If you have Google Earth, Fatatatutti's terrain is a lot like Tahiti. I use the Google Earth built-in flight simulator (Ctrl+Alt+A) to get a "bird's eye view". :)

It's basically low mountains covered in forests, flattening out a bit at the coast The air base would be jammed into a fairly narrow valley with one end opening out toward the sea. There are small streams and you'll be able to see the ocean from a few hundred feet up. The nearest city is on the coast in the distance. Not much in th way of livestock.

EDIT: Typically, there's a breeze from the sea during the day and from the land at night. You might want to fly from near the city toward the base.

Noted. LALO jumps take place anywhere from 500 to 2,000 feet, so this should be entertaining for the onlookers.

At the local fair I had a skydiver almost land on top of me. That was entertaining. :P

What's the name of the city on the coast? I can anchor my ships there.
