Ambassador Leño nodded. At least the Valarans were reasonable, but North Timeria had killed 112 innocent people for no reason. That would have to be dealt with.

Marec smile politely, appreciative of some common ground.

"Good to see that we are in agreement here. I will strive to be as impartial as I can for this meeting though forgive me for any lapses. Now, what does Ambassador Leno think of the proposed deal?"

Green now stood up leaning over the table. Angered by the lies of Derita he said

''You hate foreign affairs? Well there is one about to start if you don't pull out of Great Hyruke. And the ship was empty, don't waste our time with those worthless lies. I've heard more then enough of them.
Deal with North Timeria and you have to deal with us. Let that be clear.'' Green sat down again.

The Crown Prince growled, if looks could kill Mr. Green would have exploded.

" You sir have me confused with my father. I did not declare, I hate the very idea of war, if I were Emperor we would not be here. I don not control the government, my father does. Your lie about acts others did. I am tried of your presence."

Marec caught himself as he nearly sighed for the third time in the meeting.

"Let's all calm down and return to an orderly discussion. This arguing does no one any good, least of all the people."

Oleg stood up...
"Young prince.... you dont like to deal with foreign affairs; well then you should talk to your father or else you'll deal with it everyday while timerian soldiers occupy your cities.... it is simple Derita acted savagely and they should pay. .. we are all willing to pay our dues we owe except derita. "
Secretary Diaz stood up " I am willing to work with the President to halt these attacks."

Crown Prince Christopher II kept his cool, he looked to two Imperial Guards in the corner of the room. They were unarmed and skill in hand to hand combat, but would not kill, in fear of punishment for killing was a great crime.

" Gentlemen, will you please escort Representative Oleg out, have her deported back to North Timeria. As for Secreteary Diaz, if we may continue in a more civil manner."

The two Imperial Guards walked over to Oleg.

" Will you please come with us."

Marec did not react outwardly. The peace was fragile enough as it is, and any action would threaten what litre had been achieved. He decided to wait and pursue a more reactive stance, until he saw what needed to be done.

OOC Question: I'm assuming weapons weren't allowed in the chamber right?

Marec had also taken the incident as an opportunity to be updated on current developments. He as mildly surprised to the success of the Voloptais meeting, but rather pleased that it had been achieved.

"Yes let's, meaning no disrespect to the Timerian delegate. Now, I see a peace treaty is already in the process of being ratified elsewhere. This is something I agree with, but could it also be shown to the other delegates here?"

Ambassador Leño took this to re inert himself into the wonderful life of politics. The Crown Prince once again settled into his throne behind the Ambassador.

" If We have created peace with Hyruke then we must create peace with the Coalition Powers."

The newly appointed Imperial Marshal of New Celisia had been present during much of the conversation. Choosing to remain quietly while members of the other delegations spoke up about the issues concerning the Merverilleux War. In fact his arrival had been so quiet, and without fanfare, that he doubted his presence was widely known. Except for those individuals who knew of him and his affiliation. Turning to the delegates in the room he made a curious inquiry, clasping his hands together before him.

"At the current time His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Grin Alastair Konrad II, of whom I have been chosen to represent, is inclined to continue the Celisian support of invaded elements such as Russlande, and Great Hyruke, regardless of political or associated faction affiliation. Unless this conference can bring about a conclusive peace, with an independent Great Hyruke, and the cessation of hostilities by the nation of Rhine-East Berlin against Russlande, with the return of the land they have already invaded, New Celisia will not cease it's hostilities against these aggressive Imperialistic nations. There is a time for Imperialism, and there is a time for cooperation. You sir have overstepped your bounds."

The last sentence was directed at the delegation from Derita, a cool glare of extraordinarily potent indignation and anger masking the face of the Imperial Marshal.

"These acts of aggression and the blatant disregard for human life concerning this conflict is by far the most appalling element of this entire situation. The fact that nations on both sides are likely employing fear tactics and propaganda, lying about the truth of this matter to continue this unjust war, sets a completely new precedence on the status of sovereign states. You did not respect this sovereignty, you did not seek diplomatic solution to heal the wound of your misguided pride. No, instead you chose to invade a nation, at the expense of many lives, for a relatively simple issue. Choosing later to attempt to take the moral high ground and act as if the beginning of this conflict was not begun by the Kingdom of Derita, and therefore the responsibility of said nation to repay reparations for this war and cease hostilities immediately, and completely, is great. This event and the twisting of it's specific elements is an absolute travesty, and as a member of his Imperial Majesties Court, I will say now with absolute conviction, that Celisia will not let this injustice go unanswered."

Like before, his gaze bore into the Derita Delegation.

Ambassador Leño sighed. He had hoped the New Celisian delegate would have stayed quiet. But alas one could not control the actions of others.

" Imperial Marshall, though you represent a respectable nation, first off, you hold no weight in Derita, but we believe in peace. But Secondly you seem to be very mis informed about the events of the war.

The Invasion, occupation and annexation of most of Great Hyruke was a simple and not aggressive action. Of the entire process over the last three years only 23 Hyrukes have died, all in a single Battle. The Battle of Newberry was in fact started by Great Hyruke.

Also we have offered peace several times, and it was our idea to hold this very peace conference that you now currently attend."

The Ambassador then gestured to the lovely Tsaress Alara

" And as you can see, we bluntly disagree with the invasion of Russlande, as Her Highness Tsaress Alara, here in our presence is sided with the Ampériale Entente, even if her nation is not. And Monsieur, never had the pride of Derita ever, been wounded."

Marec made another decision and continued to be silent. He remained seated, now in a more relaxed pose as he watched the (figurative) storm clouds brew between the Marshal and Ambassador Leno. If he tried hard enough he could almost imagine the little strikes of lightning as the air crackled from the tension. But that was probably just him daydreaming.

The VRF troopers behind him shifted uneasily at the fresh exchange, while the Ambassador's diplomatic facade stayed fixed on his face. It was hardly worth getting caught into another bruising argument, or trying to mediate between the two sides. He'd done that enough today, and now he simply desired to relax and watch the sparks fly. Well, at least for the moment, he'd probably be forced to intervene at a later date, when (it wasn't an if) matter got out of hand. But for now, he could simply take a break. A half-smile broke through the facade as he munched an apple, giving Marec's face a mildly amused but weary look. Which exactly mirrored what he was feeling.

Being an ambassador was tough, but he couldn't deny the job had its perks.

Green clearly did not look amused. At this point he would have wished we wouldn't have gone here in the first place. Ambassador Leno was mostly talking about how to Coalition was mis informed about the start of the war. He looked at the ambassador who had just finished talking. Now with his friend and ally North Timeria gone he was alone to defend the statements of North Timeria and Irav. Which with the current mood of the delegates didn't make it easier for him. Green sat right up in his chair, after almost falling asleep and said.

''We've our own reasons to doubt that you and your nation want to live in peace. The annexation of Great Hyruke wasn't peacefull at all. Yes, maybe only 23 citizens have died. I have heard that a lot now, but no one seems to bother about the men who died to defend their homeland. From this imperalistic foreign nation.

As for Russlande I'm happy we've finally found a common point of intrest. Rhine-East Berlin's actions will not be justified by Irav. What they are currently doing is what I call pure warmongering. That is why I ask Rhine-East Berlin to step down right now.
We've had enough of this invasion of Russlande. This war is only inches away from becomming a full scale war.''

Leño smiled a triumphed smile.

" Monsieur Green, it was 23 soldiers who died in the town of Newberry, no Hyruke citizen has died by Deritain hands. And Derita is hardly foriegn to Hyruke, our nations have know each other since 1914, Queen Maria herself is the aunt of Emperor Almahn II."

The Imperial Marshal let out a large boisterous laugh at the Deritan delegation. Though his laugh and the subsequent smile did not reach his eyes, which still firmly fixed on the Deritan ambassador, his stare just as cold. It seemed as if the Deritan ambassador did not want peace. He simply wanted to keep the assets his nation gained during the war, and brush off the legitimate concerns of the other delegates. It was then decided by the Imperial Marshal that the Deritans had made the peace conference a joke.

"I'm certain Celisian jackboots hold considerable weight."

He let the rhetoric of his comment sink in before he continued, emphasizing the comment.

"The fact that you used peaceful, and invasion, in the same sentence proves that Deritan hypocrisy is fast approaching it's epitome. Invading and illegally annexing an independent and sovereign state for the appeasement of your own national agenda is distasteful. Especially concerning this event and the reasoning behind the invasion. That you can actually believe that your invasion was not an aggressive action, and that Great Hyruke's defense of it's nation during the battle of Newberry was an aggressive action, quite frankly makes you, and the nation you represent, look like a joke. You are not here to sue for peace. You are not here to listen to the logical and legitimate concerns of the other delegations. You are here to keep the land you illegally invaded. Rest assured that should your forces continue to operate in the bounds of Great Hyruke, and should this Conference fail to establish Great Hyruke as an independent state once again, the Armed Forces of The Grand Imperial Order of New Celisia will become heavily involved, and we do not believe in fighting a bureaucratic war. You may find that our war machine is relatively efficient Ambassador Leño."

With that being said the Marshal turned towards the Irav Delegation.

"I completely agree. We should discuss the issue of Rhine-East Berlin. I believe that should diplomatic venues fail, that we should become militarily involved. These acts of rampant aggression by state's that quite frankly are trying to wear trousers that are far too large for them is... Quite disappointing. Laughable in fact, as you may have already noticed."

Marec now found a time and opportunity to intervene. Luckily, this coincided with him finishing his apple; today was proving to be most fortuitous after all.

"Indeed. The occupation of Osterre, and the invasion of Russlande by Rhine-East Berlin is undoubtedly... troubling. For while Osterre has recently conducted its own share of aggressive behaviour, this does not override national sovereignty. Nor does it explain the attack on Russlande. Furthermore, it sets a very dangerous precedent, and bodes ill for the future. Thus, I suggest we discuss how best to respond to that situation now, rather than dwell on more... divisive matters. Does anyone have a suggestion they would like to make?"

Marec remained standing, his gaze neutral but expectant as he waited for a reply that would inform his next actions. He also pointedly ignored Celisia's previous statement and threats of war, realising that the specific topic was too contentious to be discussed just right now. Thus, his approach was carefully designed to drift away from the preceding rhetoric and inflammatory statements, instead focusing on a more agreeable area the delegates could unify over. It was a classic diplomatic tactic, and one taught constantly t the Valaran foreign office, which had a reputation for peacemaking. Marec hoped it would work.

Green looked at the New Celisian delegate. Finally there was progress being made in this conference. However the Deritan delegation kept denying their own crimes, both parties agreed that Rhine-East Berlin had to be stopped in their invasion of Russlande.

''War with Rhine-East Berlin might indeed be the only way to solve this. We've already gotten involved in the war in Russlande by sending them supplies. I think it's save to say that we will support an millitary action against Rhine-East Berlin if hostilities against Russlande don't stop.''

Leño kept his cool perfectly.

" Imperial Marshall, I believe you are stereotyping Derita as trying to do war, while we host this peace conference."

OOC: The fact that you hit me with a one liner I find very annoying. I think I might retcon this whole affair. It isn't quite on the level I'd like it to be.

Perhaps storm out rather than retcon?
I used to run an alliance, and a region. Not that it matters now.

Secratary Diaz looked at her phone... The message from the president concerned her but she followed her orders...
"Derita... This is your chance to avoid more trouble than you have already caused... Please... Admit to the chemical weapon attack and leave Hanover... You will have one chance to accept. "

''Maybe if you and your nation do not reconize the occupation of both Osterre and Great Hyruke as something bad. Signing peace between our nations might not be the correct thing to do, a nation that started this mess to begin with. And now tries to end it on their demand. That is what I think and what I see. We came here to end this war, but for some reason you just dont want to reconize that you were wrong. The international community has spoken. We want a free and sovereign Osterre and Great Hyruke. I don't think that would be all that hard to do, now wouldn't it ambassador Leno?''

Green was not happy with the way ambassador Leno kept denying everything. Of course Derita wasn't right in this, and of course there was no way they could keep Great Hyruke and Osterre. But for some reason Ambassador Leno just didn't realize the seriousness of the situation.

''I don't care only 23 people died in the war. And I don't care how your nations sees this as a legal action and annexation. This cannot be justified, this whole annexation cannot be justified.
If we keep going this course war will eventually happen between the Entente and the Coalition. All that because of one imperialist nation. That cares too much about thinking they were the right party in this conflict. But we all know the Entente was just warmongering. Because of what reason?''
