The United Left People's General Chamber

Image
Proletarian Palace, Regovishkigrad, Bojikami

Up with the Left, down with the Right!

The Proletarian Palace, a marvel of Bojikamiian architecture and engineering, towers above Regovishkigrad. The scarlet flags of all member nations of the United Left form a circle around the towering skyscraper, symbolizing the unity and friendship of the nations within the United Left, while the Convist Union and United Left flag hangs down at the front of the doorway, symbolizing a greater unity. Furthermore, the room was large and circular, holding many seats facing the center, such as the auditorium in the WA General Council. June 20th was an exiting day, as this new building was unveiled to be used by the UL.

Current Topics:

Set up foreign policy on non-member nations or other alliances - INCOMPLETE
Discuss the current Slavic-Asian racial tensions in the UL - INCOMPLETE
Discuss setting up a pan-alliance military force or unified command; such as ASTRA - INCOMPLETE
Other topics of importance will be added as the meeting goes on.

-To be scheduled

-None

Deputy Commissar of Diplomacy, Viktor Lazarev's car stopped in front of Proletarian Palace. He got out of the car. With him, was Commissar Bazanov, an agent of the State Commissariat of Security. They walked towards the entrance. He gazed upon the massive building, it was impressive, but there are similar and even larger and more impressive buildings back in Stasnov. They walked towards the entrance. They saluted the guards and entered the building.

The Alos'eqiin UL Ambassador Ŝiisàra Nosên-Alas'teqiin arrived on her bicycle in order to cut carbon emissions and to comply with the USRADN's ban on cars that's been in place since its founding. She pulled up to the entrance to the Proletariat Palace and got off her bicycle. Palace?, she thought as she walked up the steps. Bit of an inappropriate name for something that's supposed to help the Proletariat gain a voice.

The Alevi Ambassador to the United Left, Kadri Roshan, stepped out of his car as he pulled up to the palace. He stared for a moment. It was at least three or four times as big as the biggest building in Alevstan. However, when he noticed he was just standing there, staring, he hustled up the steps and followed the other ambassadors inside. One Alevi Special Forces guard followed him inside.

The Northwest Coast, otherwise known as the Tribal Confederacy or Costian Convist Republic has taken a more publicly reserved stance when it came to embracing the issues that are to be topics of discussion in the General Chamber. Only just now beginning to keep the populace of the Northwest Coast under control, the government is hesitant in sending anyone to the chamber. Yet, per it's duties to the Convist Union and it's fellow United Left members, the Northwest Coast sent Donoma Peta. - Excerpt from Aniwahya Inquisitor

The Costian representative shook his head with disgust, the media in his home country never failed to call attention to situations the government wished to keep quiet. It was well known that many people in the Northwest Coast were not happy with the recent changes the government had made, the media; specifically newspapers continued to inflame the situation with it's satirical and critical commentary of the Convist Union and United Left. Donoma was suddenly annoyed.

As the limo he was traveling in stopped, Donoma turned to see an imposing building that had overshadowed any building he had ever seen. His entourage of assistants, advisers, assistants to the advisers, and advisers to the assistants made it's way to the steps and then up the steps. Donoma couldn't help but notice how highly militarized the entire facility was. He was sure he had seen a group of diplomats ahead salute the guards at the entrance. This better not be a chamber of stereotypical communist military blockheads. The diplomat shook the thought out of his head before entering the building.

ENRICO REY, the Republic's official delegation to the United Left General Chamber, enters. A man renowned for his skill in diplomatic affairs, he is a member of the Republic's Conservative Party and has been a high-ranking member of the Department of Foreign Affairs for 11 years. He was a committed free-market advocate, a true believer in capitalism. He walked calmly up the stairs, smoking a cigarette.

Marke Babeov, the dignitary for the USSOTD, has arrived at the Proletarian Palace in Regovishkigrad, alongside fellow delegates Anastasia Vasil Korol, Giordano Gracci, Cassiu Gracci and Clair de Rousse. Both they and the administrators back at the Ministry of Diplomacy and External Affairs all have memories of the aborted first UL Summit, and the Ministry still feels apprehensive about dedicating one of them when that was the only real public work of internal administration that the UL can boast. However, this plan for having regular meeting had gone over well back home, and the Ministry decided to bring all five to see which one would fit into the atmosphere of the UL the best.

Yuri Ivchenko, the leader of Bojikami along with Alexei Dobrunov, the Bojikamiian ambassador and leader of the United Left took their respective seats at the northern side of the room. The chamber itself was set up much like an old Greek amphitheater, with the northern side appearing much like a stage. In that area of the room, there were other chairs as well, all arranged and reserved for the leaders of the United Left which included ambassadors and perhaps leaders from The United Motherland, Vedria, Alosteq Diin Nastja, Ardoki, along with other leaders of the alliance. On the wall behind the chairs was a giant golden star with the UL member flags on all sides of it.

Upon taking his seat Yuri takes out a cigar and lights it. He then approaches his microphone. "We shall begin this meeting once all or most of our comrades arrive. " He leans back in his chair and offers a cigar to Dobrunov, who politely denies.

A black tinted car pulls up to the palace. The ambassador Jon Felix steps out of the car. He looks at the palace. He thinks to himself "What an excellent work of design, fitting for a movement as glorious as ours". He then walks up the stairs, and enters the palace.

Ambassador Serdar Kocayiğit arrived at Proletarian Palace in a hybrid car. He was stunned at the height and the grandeur if the building.

Too extravagant for my liking, he thought to himself. Upon entrance, he found himself in a large circular room with an ocean of seats. He had to explore the room before finding a seat reading 'Anollasia'. Serdar took a seat immediately.

Ionatanos Zalnajen, Deneclian Ambassador to the United Left, stepped out of the black armoured limo, nearly falling due his impaired leg. It's only when he got up again that he noticed the grandeur of the building, conveniently named the Proletarian Palace. "This is for sure a building great enough for our cause". He saluted the statue of Lenin, and slowly went up the stairs. He may have seen tall buildings rise and fall, but this one was the bigger he ever saw.
He noticed his bodyguard near his seat, and walked quickly to him. He sat down, and noticed the Deneclian flag on the wall behind of the chairs. "Even though we're newcomers we weren't left out. This starts very well".

Griken Converskii was chatting with a civilian in which was helping create the new housing for some of the more permanent diplomats. He had a nice conversation about... Well...

... Boats.

And although, it was a strange conversation, Griken had noticed that some of the ambassadors had already made it into the palace, so he had to hurry up. He was used to such royalty-themed buildings, such as within the Ex-Monarchy of the United Motherland. He had saw the statue of Lenin as he sped walked up the stairs, and had an almost indifferent feeling towards it.

He walked all the way to the two chairs at the back of the room, which was suspended on a small outcropping, in which were supposed to allow a better voice cast over the auditorium and gave a much better view. He had entered the staircase in which lead up to it, and sat down right next to the Bojikamian Ambassador and shook his hand quietly. He was ready for this new age of coordination in the United Left.

Matiya Vardija, the Ardokian ambassador to the United Left, arrived at the Proletarian Palace. He was escorted by four members of the Communist Guard Security Force (
Komunista Korpogardistoj Sekureco Perforte) (KKSP), whose job was to protect important government officials, and and a young woman with green eyes. This woman was Talish Bartvata, a low-level Ardokian diplomat who is working with Matiya at the moment, as part of her training course to become a more senior diplomat, she is about 28 or 29 years of age and has long black hair.

The six Ardokians slowly proceeded up the stair of the giant building, admiring its wonder. However it was nothing compared to some of the buildings back in Ardoki. They entered the building and slowly made their way up to the conference room, after passing all the security checks and signing in. As they entered the room, the KKSP forces waited by the door while the two Ardokian diplomats made their way towards a big stage in the northern area of the giant amphitheater-like conference room. Matiya Vardija saw the diplomats from the United Motherland and Bojikami sitting there, with a placard saying the name Ardoki right next to the United Motherland's seat. Matiya Vardija sat down at his designated spot while Talish Bartvata made her way towards the area where the normal members would sit, and sat down at an empty chair their.

Matiya Vardija turned to the ambassador from the United Motherland, Griken Converskii, and said; "Greetings comrade. Are you exited for the conference?".

Kadri enters the conference room, and is again amazed by the size of the building. This time, however, he just takes a moment to look around, then walks around to find his seat, which he finds after a minute or two. To the delegates around him, he says, "Greetings, comrades."

The room went slightly darker as Griken had set his papers down after looking them over. He went onto the stage to start the opening speech of the first meeting in the United Left General Chamber. He fixes his light robes from the Motherland, and begins.

"Comrades. Friends. Family. Today is the day the UL expands once again. Today is the first General Chamber meeting of the United Left, and as our children may take this day for granite, today was a very important day for our nations indeed," he takes a small sip of water, while watching the Zhouran administration walk out of the building. "We have came so far, as the name of progress can tell. We have defeated the Axis, and some of its sucessors. We have sucessfully stopped some Islamic Terrorism in its tracks. But no great feat that we can achieve, can show the progress from the friendship of all of the UL nations."

"So let us begin!" he motions everyone to take a seat.

"Our first topic is the WA council. We first would like to see how it would work and operate."
