THE CONTEST THREAD IS HERE!
Although Euskirribakondara had the hosting rights for WHF12, the honours were given to the Atlammes instead, after the economical crisis hit hard on the Harrikia. In Korbia, host city for WHF12, just like out of nowhere, Kingsley Bedford (a veteran for Worldvision, but a totally new débutant for the World Hit Festival), won with a very simple, yet touching performance. A few days after the win, and after several meetings between the WHF Steering Group and KBBS, it was officially announced that Kingsley Bedford would host the thirteenth edition of the beloved contest. Reidun Halvorsen, Kingfordian Head of Delegation declared:
To be honest, the Kingfordian delegation didn't expect to win. And right after the last vote was cast, our reaction was purely and simply "shock".. We have learnt that no matter what expectations we have, we are always going to be unable to predict the result. But we hope to continue to send great entries and earn good results; and for the while, we are very happy and proud to have the opportunity to welcome everyone to Kingsley Bedford for the 13th World Hit Festival.
You can expect a state-of-the-art production, in the hands of some of the best producers in Kingfordian television and a big celebration of music and cultures. In fact, we are aiming for a friendly reunion, and that's why the motto for this edition will be "together in Sirushostan".
Sirushostan, the capital of our country and its largest city, will host the contest in a way no one has ever seen before. Profiting the fact this city is the centre of culture and diplomacy of the country, we'll be able to give our guests everything they need. The venue is the newly built "Aruthyan Complex", a performing arts and music arena, with a capacity for 12 500 people.

(Deadlines for this contest are based on World Time, which means, since the time the day starts in Kiribati and Samoa (UTC+14), and until it ends in American Samoa (UTC-11).)
OOC Rules
1. Artists and songs must be imaginary (You may use the rhythm of an existant song, or parody the lyrics of one existant).
2. The songs can be on any language.
3. If you want to withdraw your application, you must do it BEFORE the deadline.
4. The voting system is: 1pt, 2pt, 3pts, 4pts, 5pts (Maximum score is 5pts). The entry with the most points wins.
5. If there are less than 15 countries by the end of the deadline, this one will be extended.
6. There will be semifinals if more than 30 active countries participate.
7. The hosting rights go to the winner. If he/she declines, the rights go to the runner-up, and so on.
8. Ties will be broken with: the number of countries that voted for that entry; number of 5-pts received; number of 4-pts received, and so on. If there's still a tie, both countries will be declared winners, and the hosting rights will be decided by a draw.
9. A maximum of two puppets are allowed (adding up the votes of a player (master+puppets), more than pts cannot be given to the same entry).
10. To signup, you must do what says in the next paragraph!
