ATTENTION ALL NATIONS!

The Northern Scottish Isles has experienced a severe flash flood due to sudden torrential downpours in the nation's Administrative Centre, Stornoway. The protective measures, such as levees, and watersheds, have failed due to the extensive amount of rainfall. About 10,000 have been forced to relocate to nearby Taransay, including the parliament officials and the Stateholder.

The Northern Scottish Isles has had an ongoing issue with flash floods due to our geographical location. This one has been the worst in our nation's history. The Agency of State Disaster and Emergency Management as estimated the damages at S£12,000,000. The State Parliament Building has been severely damaged and many major fisheries and other parliament buildings have been rendered unusable. Our nation's parliament cannot function currently because of this natural disaster.

Historically, the same incident occurred many years ago where the Administrative Centre was flooded and the population forced to relocate to nearby Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands. The damages in this particular disaster were minor though, estimated at S£50,000.

We implore all nations who receive this message to assist in the repair and relief of our citizens during this very difficult time. Once infrastructure is functioning again, the Northern Scottish Isles is prepared to make reparations to any assisting nations. Any form of relief is acceptable.
