Prince Maximus was the first to step off the jet, being the highest in the Imperial Line in the group. His hair had grown somewhat longer since his older brother's wedding in the Elven Imperium, but otherwise he hadn't changed much. As All Hail Constannia began playing Princess Elizbia followed her cousin off the jet, and behind her came the head of their security, Sir Talabast. The Over-Knight had a tall, imposing figure, even for a Constannian, and had numerous scars on his face and neck.

Prince Maximus greeted Lord Chancellor Fjordson with a slight bow as Elizbia curtsied. "Good afternoon, ma'am," the young prince said.

When the Knight stepped out of the plane the soldiers grabed their weapons a bit more firmer but the Chancellor didn't react like that. Yes the security increased to a high level but Constaniana was a ally for a reason.
She curtsied. " Good afternoon madame, your highness, sire. Wellcome to Phoenixia, it's always pleasant to see friends of the kingdom here." She hated herself for that but she would not the one who broke the protocol also everything was better then HER, lately Melisand Eirikson, the newest addition to the royal house had managed to scare off the first private tutor after only two weeks ! And the worst thing was that she could understand him.
She guided the group to a armored SUV, unnecessary trough all the security meassures but she had a better feeling trough it, at least their would be no accidents like that this time...

The SUV increased speed, they were already a bit late and everyone knew how long royals, especially female member of royal houses could need before they were ready.
While the car rushed through the city the chancellor took the liberty to explain a bit about the history of the city. Fortunately for everyone it was only a short trip as the Airport was build near the city or rather the city had closed the distance to the airport in the ten years it were build.
When they reached the front gate there were already a large bunch of nobles gathered together. A look on her watch confirmed that they had less to two hours before the banquet would begin.
Even the Constanianans need to register that they were late as they are hurried up a bit.
She took them towards the north tower. " All other quarters are blocked sadly, a whole Tower by the Steel Elves alone. If you don't have questions I will leave you here now, at the moment all of us are pretty busy with preparations. After a bit of unpacking the three of them went to the banquet, seating themselves at the table.

Celanor settle down and after a while he made his may down to the banquet.

Dimitri took his seat on the far right side of the head of the table. He was famished, He waited though of course for the food, and a word from their host.

The Phoenixian royals made it early to the banquet, knowing what would come. During the last hours the room has changed. The tables now were forming a large U, with good view to the table with the most important guests, mainly the foreign delegations but also high dignitaries of the Phoenixian Crown. They were suprised to find Celanor already at his place to the right of the table.
" You were early your highness. The feast will not begin within the next hour, sadly." The king let the cat out of the bag.
" According to Phoenixian protocol there is an ancient tradition we never break. Each girl of noble blood or who is seeing as equal to a noble is first introduced to court during a feast. The more important the feast is the more applications we get and unfornutely this one is considered very important."
The king get his place on the center of the table, to his left the Crownprince, Hilde and Melisand as the newest addition, youngest and adopted child farthest away from the center. Beneath her only Phoenixians would be placed, the whole right side was reserved for the Elves, beneath them the Constanians and then Prince Dimitri from Valorono.
As soon as the king was seated the procession began. At first the less important families came forward, children from low houses, even common houses which would cause a scandal 30 years ago. After the first half dozens the names getting more important, there was House Rotschild from the nordic mountains, famous for their Ship-Captains, their long military tradition and for their wealth. After them came house Martel from Dragonia, original a lesser house but the highest one from the south and trought their ancient bloodline farly important for the noble families.
Then House Lehmann introduced their daughter, the fourth one after the count of the king. Certainly they would try to marry her with Frederik, again, bloodsucker all together but they are the bank of Phoenixia and they were in debt with nearly a billion Phoenixian Dollars with them. Then the last girl entered the court.
" Lady Eilsabeth, Mary-Jane Florent from Gryphonia !" Even the king was surprised, he knew that house Florent had a daughter of course, he got marriage contracts for Frederik two times from them but from the things he heard the girl was not interested in Balls and Feasts. Well most likely her mother was to blame for this, Susanna could be a real pain sometimes.
He noticed that the girl was beautiful, not the display of beauty House Lehmann perfectioned but in a natural way, he wouldn't doubt that the girl didn't know what a flower she was right now. He also noticed that Celanors expression changed for a very little moment..."

Then the king informed him of the Phoenix tradition of showing off unmarried noble women. Celanor sighed internally, but understood. As a Sun Prince, Celanor understood the need of tradtion. In fact what the phoenix was doing was not unlike some of the ritual Celanor was forced to endure before. As the ladies where announce and presented, Celanor just let him mind wander. HE had no intrest in Human women, He was technically engaged anyway.

Then Lady Eilsabeth, Mary-Jane Florent from Gryphonia was presented. All of a sudden Celanor was grip by a vision of natural beauty. Celanor then felt his heart grip by a unknown force. He was enthralledby the woman. He wanted to know. He must know her. Celanor turn to the king. "So are these ladies going to attend this banquet?"

She hope he forgave her attempt to forcibly woo him at the last wedding. Sakura look particular beautiful in her traditional dress. The group assemble and enter the hall. They moved in front of the King and prince Celanor. When they got there. They bowed. A servant them spoke to the phoenix king. "His most august and Celestial majesty give greeting to your majesty and your highness. HE hope this wedding will symbolize a new begin for our people." With that the entire Chrysanthum Elf delegation bowed.

Unfortunately the full dress hug her curves making her look even more sexy. That combine with her nature allure witch she seriously tone down, made her a desirable woman.

She didn't understand the point of this all; In Constannia if a woman wanted herself to be known she'd simply introduce herself to the person she was talking to. She did her best to hide her sorrow as he family took their seats. Out of all her siblings, her Elder brother Akihiro noted her brief pain and remember that his sister was still in love with Constannian prince. He remember Hilde said she would take care of the situation. He noted to himself. Apparently Hilde did not succeed in her resolution of the situation. Akihiro resolved to confront the Constannian prince about it. Sakura's honor and happiness was at stake.
